 Las calzadas y las aceras de Buenos Aires son, por lo general, muy anchas. Como ancha fue la hospitalidad que me brindó la poeta Paloma Raskovsky, la cuentista Paula Ruggeri (quien tuvo el generoso gesto de obsequiarme dos títulos de su autoría), el periodista Cristian Vázquez, el productor Alexis Leiva y el novelista Enzo Maqueira, con el cual mantuve una buenísima charla en Radio Provincia.

Pero no pude saldar toda la cuenta. Faltaron los encuentros con Eugenia Coiro, Tatiana Goransky, Fernanda Volpi, Natalia Orrego, Dana Babic, Gabriela Mayer, Bibiana Ricciardi y Luciana Strauss. Confío en el advenimiento de una nueva oportunidad para departir con cada una de ellas. Sea alrededor de unas medialunas, facturas, alfajores, tostadas de campo, bifes, asados, dulces de leche, panchos, bondiolas, mates, birritas o vinos mendocinos.

En la Avenida De Mayo, visité más de una librería de viejo. Impregné la mirada en los lomos de las publicaciones de Ovidio, Beatriz Guido, Borges, lienzos cortazarianos, recuadros de Gardel y textos sociológicos ochenteros. En la pila de estos últimos, descubrí un compendio titulado El modo de vida socialista, escrito por un conjunto de académicos pertenecientes a la República Democrática Alemana, Hungría, la ex Checoslovaquia, Polonia, Mongolia y Rumanía. Atrapé el compendio como si se tratara de una esmeralda al pie de un yacimiento bahiano.  

La avenida Corrientes es una arrolladora marea artística. Por sus largas cuadras, caminé estirando mis piernas, me detuve ante sus venerables teatros, ante sus cobijantes librerías como Losada, Hernández, Sudeste, Dickens, Galerna, Cúspide y tantas otras. Almorcé de cara al Obelisco, de cara a la magnánima avenida 9 de julio, dejándome llevar por la frescura de sus vientos, oxigenándome con la vibrante argentinidad al palo. Abandoné Corrientes con un texto parteaguas camuflado en mi morral, El 45, del historiador Félix Luna.

Tras pasear enamorado por la parisina calle Arroyo, la Estación Retiro-Mitre y la plaza Fuerza Aérea Argentina, enrumbé hacia Eterna Cadencia, nutrida morada cultural ubicada en el barrio de Palermo. Ni bien cerré la puerta, me deslumbró sus torres librescas de ficción y no ficción; sus mesas plagadas de narraciones impresas traducidas al castellano, la rizada muchacha de ojos azules que me atendió en caja, las intensas tertulias de sus comensales. Saqué los pesos y pagué por Hija de revolucionarios, de Laurence Debray; Los niños perdidos, de Valeria Luiselli; Los pichiciegos, novela ambientada en la guerra de Malvinas y escrita por Rodolfo Fogwill; Estertores de una década. Nueva York 78, de Manuel Puig y Rebeldes, soñadores y fugitivos; del marplatense Osvaldo Soriano.

De vuelta al microcentro, hurgué en las estanterías de La librería de Ávila, la más antigua de Buenos Aires. Muy señorial. Encontré desde los duros volúmenes de literatura griega hasta lo último de Caparrós. Miraba, ojeaba, decía sí, luego dudaba, para volver a decir sí, tal vez, puede ser, no o después me lo llevo. Qué lector más estresante, ¿verdad?, pues, así parece.

La Casa Rosada no me fue indiferente. Planté la mirada frente a su puerta central, frente a su entrada lateral izquierda, frente a sus balcones, frente a sus cortinas, frente a los avatares de la historia. Cuando escudriñé al icónico Cabildo, rememoré aquella mañana primaveral que alumbró el retorno a la democracia en 1983.

El postre Balcarce fue el apoteósico concierto ofrecido por la Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón. Prístino espectáculo que difícilmente olvidaré. San Telmo me regaló un buen tango en la Plaza Dorrego, la serenidad del extenso Parque Lezama y un cartel metálico donde Mafalda decreta esto: “No permitiré que nadie camine por mi mente con los pies sucios”. Otro indicio de su restallante lucidez.

También deambulé por la avenida Rivadavia. Arteria movida que algunos citadinos la catalogan como la más larga del mundo. En el trayecto, aproveché para tomar fotografías a los impetuosos afiches políticos del momento. Luego, descansé en una banqueta de Caballito por poco más de tres cuartos de hora.

Otra intensa jornada en los Juegos Colombianos

Fuente: Víctor Zapata (Fecodatle) y Running Colombia El atletismo de Colombia vivió otra intensa jornada –la segunda de pista y campo- en los Juegos Deportivos Nacionales del Eje Cafetero, cuyas competencia para nuestro deporte se desarrollan en Armenia, Quindio. Este martes 21 de noviembre las finales de 1.500 metros fueron muy emotivas. Entre las damas, con un ascendente nivel de casi todas sus protagonistas, Shellcy Sarmiento se alzó con el título en 4:21.39, seguida por Angie Nocua con 4:23.73 y la recordwoman nacional Muriel Coneo con 4:26.35. Probablemente la mejor mediofondista del historial colombiano, con múltiples títulos internacionales, Coneo –a sus 36 años- le pone punto final a su extensa y exitosa campaña en pista. Entre los hombres, Luis Eduardo Viáfara consiguió un consagratorio triunfo de 3:45.51, aventajando también al experimentado, fogueado y laureado compañero de entrenamientos y giras, Carlos Andrés San Martín (3:46.85). Camilo Aguillón consiguió la medalla de bronce con 3:47.14. También se disputaron las finales de vallas y sobre 110metros, el vencedor fue Brayan Rojas con 13.88 (viento -0.1ms), seguido por Jaun Carlos Moreno con 14.18 y Diego Vilas con 14.26. En los 100 metros vallas para damas ganó María Fernanda Murillo con 13.57, aventajando por cuatro centésimas a Eliecit Palacios, con bronce para María Alejandra Rocha (13.68). La flamante campeona panamericana del salto en largo, Natalia Linares, no estuvo ahora en esa especialidad –sí lo hizo en 100 llanos, donde ganó- y el título quedó entonces para Angie Palacios con 6.19, seguida por Estrella Lobo con 6.01 y Dana Jiménez con 5.79. El decathlon fue para Elmer Díaz con 7.275, José Gregorio Lemos fue subcampeón con 7.187 y Carlos Córdoba, tercero con 6.554. En damas, Martha Valeria Araujo se impuiso sin dificultades en el hepta, donde reunió con 4.921 puntos. Alto nivel se vio en los relevos cortos. En hombres se impuso Valle (Florez, Renteria, Caicedo, Baltán) con 39.35, con Atlántico –rematado por Anthony Zambrano- con 39.85 para el segundo puesto. Njemačka traži radnike: Doseljenici ne trebaju znati njemački, a niti tete u vrtićima...

Kako riješiti problem s nestašicom radne snage u Njemačkoj? Samo pojačanim doseljavanjem, tvrdi ekonomska stručnjakinja Monika Schnitzer. Ona pozdravlja novi Zakon o doseljavanju, ali kaže da to neće biti dovoljno     "Ako želimo da svake godine imamo 400.000 novih građana i time održimo broj radnika, i ako oduzmemo ogroman broj onih koji se iseljavaju - onda je Nemačkoj potrebno 1,5 milijuna doseljenika godišnje", kaže ekonomska stručnjakinja Monika Schnitzer. Samo pojačano doseljavanje može biti lijek za problem s nestašicom stručne radne snage, naglasila je ona za list Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ), piše Deutsche Welle. Njemačkoj je hitno potrebna kultura dobrodošlice, dodala je Schnitzer. Ona je voditeljica stručnog tijela „Sachverständigenrat" (Vijeće stručnjaka) u kojem su vodeći gospodarski eksperti. To tijelo analizira ekonomski razvoj u Njemačkoj te savjetuje saveznu vladu. Novi zakon o doseljavanju (o privlačenju stručnjaka i iz zemalja izvan Europske unije, nap. red.), koji je nedavno usvojio Bundestag, je korak u pravom smjeru, smatra Schnitzer. I dodaje kako to neće biti dovoljno: „Trebaju nam uredi za strance, koji neće strašiti doseljenike, već nuditi servis". Schnitzer je za SZ precizirala: „Ne bi trebali zahtijevati da inozemni stručnjaci baš za svaki posao trebaju znati njemački. Ali bi se trebali pobrinuti oko toga da djelatnici ureda za strance znaju i engleski."     Kako bi se moglo početi rješavati problem s manjkom stručne radne snage, Njemačka bi, smatra Schnitzer, morala više investirati u djecu, te je kritizirala: „Poražavajuće je da četvrtina učenica i učenika četvrtih razreda ne znaju dobro čitati." Osim toga bi po njezinom mišljenju firme morale motivirati starije posloprimce da nastave raditi, odnosno kako ne bi išli u prijevremenu mirovinu. Schnitzer smatra da Savezna Republika po ovom pitanju sve u svemu ne napreduje „onako kako bismo mi to mogli i morali". Između ostaloga se nije investiralo u potrebnu infrastrukturu, kaska se znatno po pitanju digitalizacije, prekasno se počelo sa zaštitom klime, navodi ugledna ekonomska stručnjakinja. Klub zastupnika FDP-a u Bundestagu može si zamisliti i da zbog manjka stručne radne snage u vrtićima ubuduće budu angažirani i odgojiteljice i odgojitelji koji još uvijek ne raspolažu nužnom razinom znanja njemačkog jezika. Zamislivo je da se znanje jezika usavršava uz posao, to je jedna od ideja iz dokumenta koji će Klub FDP-a u Bundestagu vjerojatno usvojiti tijekom ovog tjedna. O tom je papiru u nedjelju pisao list Tagesspiegel. „S obzirom na kontinuirano doseljavanje u Njemačku tako bi stručna radna snaga koja se doseli, i bez dovoljnog znanja njemačkog jedno vrijeme, na ograničeni rok, mogla raditi i u ustanovama s djecom i to na jeziku zemlje iz koje potječu", stoji u tom dokumentu. Dodaje se kako mnogi doseljenici posjeduju odgovarajuće diplome ili kvalifikacije za rad u pedagoškom području: „Te kvalifikacije se mora priznavati jednostavnije, s manje birokracije i brže, po mogućnosti u roku od 60 dana." Sudeći po navodima Saveznog ureda za migracije i izbjeglice, u određenim zanimanjima, na primjer za posao odgojitelja, u mnogim se saveznim zemljama zahtijeva znanje njemačkog na razini C1 (napredna razina). En la 4ta. Fecha del Campeonato Nacional de la Liga ABE. Las Lobas de la UAC ganan 41-39 Chihuahua, Chih. - Hoy, Las Adelitas de la UACH sufrieron una dramática derrota en la cuarta fecha del Campeonato Nacional de Básquetbol Universitario de la Liga ABE, al caer ante Las Lobas de la Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila por pizarra de 39-41, en un partido celebrado en el gimnasio universitario “Manuel Bernardo Aguirre”. Esta fue la tercera derrota de la UACH y con una victoria en su récord de la presente temporada, mientras que Las Lobas sumaron su tercera victoria contra un revés. Gorillaz announce art book with contributions from Jack Black and Robert Smith

Over 40 guest artists have contributed alongside Jamie Hewlett

Gorillaz have announced an official art book with over 40 guest artists teaming up alongside the band’s co-creator Jamie Hewlett.

Released April 2022 via Z2 Comics, The Gorillaz Art Book promises to give fans “new interpretations of 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs in one expansive volume”, with the likes of Jack Black, The Cure’s Robert Smith and Little Dragon all contributing. See the complete list of guests below.

Speaking about the project, Hewlett said: “Gorillaz have always collaborated with music but this is the first time we’ve done an art collaboration. I’ve really enjoyed working with so many of my favourite artists and the result is this amazing book.”

The book will be case bound at 12.6 x 9.2 inches and set across 288 pages of luxury art paper. It’s available to pre-order now from here and costs £68.99
