So I ended up making kinda making a full body ref of my Marvel variant of Sigyn. I did tweak her design a bit she mostly based off a viper so I kinda made her snake like.

A little bit to add from the last post:

Sigyn lost all her magic when she was banished so she couldn’t use that to cure herself. Even then she didn’t know if her own magic would have been able to cure her anyways. So,she ended up turning to experimentation as a cure it just began as experiments on herself but it started to become dangerous. This lead her to start to captured and experiment on innocent civilians instead to further her goal while also descending into her own insanity. Sigyn becomes someone unrecognizable from the kind,caring, and strong princess from Vanaheim she once was. Now she’s a unhinged and unstable scientist who will do anything to see her husband again while avenging her sons in the process as well. Though now Loki may be too scared to see what Sigyn has become.

yeah!!! ive got a lot of early sketches of him to prove it too!

the one in the middle is actually the first sketch my friend kikkini made of Boe, with the two on the sides being sketches made about 3-4 months later that were made closer to Boes design being finalized. it's kind of wild to imagine if he still looked like these sketches.

i still think it's nice how Boe turned out, with his final design being a little softer i feel in terms of his skull design and such. a lot less angry vibes and more "huh wuh?" type vibes i think. also i think its funny how he's basically always had skull eyebrows :)

anyway i hope the 7-11 peepee pissing line wasnt too long. idk why Boe was there. he doesn't have organs to peepee piss with.

Sunflowerverse follows the story of Betty from glitchtale, as she goes through a Multiversal redemption arc while living with Dream in the Omega Timeline taking on the new name of Sunflower! or just Sunnie for short, and while yes Sunnie is the main focus there are many different plot lines and characters that also take the main focus as the farther we go into the series you'll get full on comic lines on them no Sunflower included lol, closest thing I can compare it to is Zoophobia where it starts off focusing on one group of characters but then branches out showing the lives of more and more people over time.

murder time trio but theyre all bitter and divorced exes. they all despise eachother and are incredibly awkward because they really did not get along back in those days and also it was weird for them to date alternate versions of themselves (LITERALLY because theyre all classic varients. not swap or fell or wtvr) but also why is there so much homoerotic energy.

killer is very very very very close friends with color. horror is going through his therapy arc with farm. and dust has.... SOMETHING (i have no idea what. sorry dustard fans i don't know anything about dustard) going on with fell. and they all fucking hate eachother for just having POTENTIAL love interests. like they're not even dating their husband trio (thank you to the japanese people on twitter i follow for naming farm color and fell as the "husband trio")

but the issue is THEYRE STILL FRIENDS. and they all shittalk the other when theyre in duos 😭😭😭 horror and killer go on full out DEBATES on how bad fell is for dust (as if you're any better smh.) dust and horror have made their own form of body and sign language to express their disgust when they see killer with color. dust and killer don't shittalk farm because hes a sweetie but theyre just making fun of horror for being so soft around him (out of pure jealousy)

and then imagine all that but with homoerotic tension. they don't realize they still like eachother because theyre bitter and fucking idiots. dust is so sick of hearing color and killer talk and joke that he keeps on getting into fights with killer (that end up with them almost killing each other but its in a gay way TRUST) killer is always chatting horrors ear (what ear) off with how much better he could do than farm and horror's just sitting there deadpan because why is his ex giving him advice. horror cannot STAND when dust ditches him to go hang out with fell and he always makes passive aggressive comments about how stuck up fells ass dust is.

and then yk they have a big fight after all the beef. and things either get worse or they end up getting back together (you are bad for eachother please don't get back together my pookies.) wouldn't it be funny if it was at farmtale and if the fight ended badly farm gave them some farmerly couples therapy. it doesn't help their relationship but it definitely calms them down

I know you reviewed the original Ursaluna but could you review the Bloodmoon variant as well?

Honestly, I think the last thing I or anyone else really expected from the DLC was another form for Ursaluna. Seeing as Ursaluna was just added in in PLA and was already a much-needed third stage to the Teddiursa line, it getting a new form in SV was completely out of left field. I'm not really opposed to it, but it does feel like they had tossed this idea around for PLA as a split evo and then decided to tack it onto the SV DLC because they didn't have the design finalized in time or something.

Speaking of which, it's also a bit odd because it's just its own Pokemon—it doesn't evolve from Teddiursa, it's not a form a regular Ursaluna can switch to, it's (in-universe) a lone individual that changed based on its environment in Kitakami. It's kind of shame that it's not something you can evolve, but the idea of "individualized" Pokemon like this is intriguing, and could be an interesting concept to explore with other Pokemon in future games.

With that said, conceptually, it's pretty neat. Ursaluna, if you couldn't tell from its name, is based on the idea of a full moon. Bloodmoon Ursaluna is, get this, based off a blood moon, i.e., the moon during a total lunar eclipse. That makes sense thematically, and the red does make it stand out against the original.

Visually, the two are also similar enough to feel like they're the same 'mon, but there are some major differences. The Bloodmoon varient has an angrier expression and walks on its hind legs—ironically, making it more similar to Ursaring than standard Ursaluna. Personally, I love regular Ursaluna's slightly dopey expression and the more bear-like stance, but I can definitely see the appeal here.

In addition to the change in stance, the Bloodmoon version has different mud placement (more on the face but less on the front legs) and is almost zombie-like, with cracked mud, a lighter base color, and a blackened eye. I do think the explanation for the eye is pretty weak (why would it only need night vision in one eye??) but it does look hella cool.

So overall, while this probably wasn't a form we needed at all, it is a neat concept and is well-executed, and should make fans of both Ursaluna and Ursaring happy.

okay okay okay, thinking thoughts

So I find the concept of Names really interesting in Camlann, reading into the extracanonical stuff put on the tumblr is giving me food for theory crafting. The Catacylsm seems to be some kind of return of magic to the world (possibly heralded by the return of The King of the Britons in their hour of need?) and thus people with significant Names have access to something because of it. they fall into the stories of their namesakes; Perry, Gwaine, and Kay are Knights, Morgan is Morgana Le Fay, and we now have a Gwen in Shújūn.

Based on Kay's dicussion with Perry if more people can fill in the roles of their stories to more 'to plan' the stories will go, Of course this is not good news if you know the general end point of Arthurian legend (Betrayal, muderer, war, most everyone dead, the 'Glory' of camelot gone). It's inherently kind of a doomsday cult if you stay in those stories, you know where parts of this are going (i'll get back to this)

it also seems like there may be some, for lack of a better term, kin drama going on. There are 900 members of the court and Kay mentions that Peredur is a really uncommon name outside of Wales, meaning there are certain knights who are more common, i assume Lancelot's, Kay's, maybe a few Talisin's, a bunch of Gareth's, and like 50 Elaines like in the legends lol

We also dont have the context for how Names work full yet and neither do our characters. I think theres a lot of answers to be had with Shújūn/Gwen with how it works, how you know other than the buzzing in you're head and desire go through the motions and Follow the Story

Now, where does Dai fit in all this?

Dai doesn't have a Name, and I think theres going to be a point where he changes his name in a major way, but not to a Name, but a Bardic name. In welsh poetic and story telling tradtions Welsh poets, THE OG Bards, will take on pseudonyms tell their stories. This practice stems from the medievil era, but goes forth to today, and many modern Welsh and welsh heritage poets have connections to this tradition (Dylan Thomas' middle name was his great uncles bardic name, Sarah Williams published her work under the name Sadie), I believe it's also a requirement to have one if you intend to perform in the major Eisteddfod, (I am Australian so my experiance of Eisteddfods here is very different so if i'm wrong on that let me know)

Why would he do this? I think Dai is going to, at least try, to write him and his friends a way out.

Much ink is spilt over how Arthurian legend doesnt have an 'orginal text', and as such there are lots of stories that are inherently contradictory; Bedwyr is the best knight, but so are Gwaine, Lancelot, and Galahad. Mordred is some random king until his Arthur's son. Arthur has a sister, no he has two, actually he has three and one of them is an Elaine. This could be used to explain any doubles (are you my Gwaine), as well as why we see a few different spelling varients which are, the very welsh Peredur as opposed to Percival or Parzifal, the anglisised and more boarish Kay as opposed to Cei or Caius (this last one might just to keep Dai and Kay distinct tho). These variations are no more or less 'canon' than any other telling of the story, and so often the writer of a given telling of Arthurian legend is going to have their own bias. But things dont HAVE to end the way they always do, and sometime you need to have someone outside the story you're caught in to tell you a new one.

You are not locked into that ever looming cloud of Thomas Mallory and Le Morte d'Arthur.

Other evidence I have for this is that Dai sings at the begining of each episode, and sings in welsh at that. He also is, to a point our narrator, existing both in and out of the current narative. Also his name is an a lyric of Sosban Fach (a song i would be surprised if it wasn't in the show at some point) 'Dai bach y sowldiwr' which is also not from the text the song was based on. Tangential yes, but i think it's worth thinking about.

I think there is also something to be said about choice in what your name is and how it feeds into the overall theme of identiy, and how that plays into other themes at play in the story, like Transness, Imperialism, and Predestination

TL:DR; While he doesnt have a Name, Dai's gonna give himself an epic bard name and save them all by writing a killer hook to get them out of the story

MonocoDoll's Vile Ventures (Drug Dealing) Mod Report (Additional Objects Made, Animations for Three Drugs, and House Raid Function Fix)

Just another monthly Mod Report regarding My Vile Ventures mod. This month I worked on creating a few more objects, consumption animations for three drugs, and fixing a bug found during my playthrough. Which I will go over these on the report.

[Additional Objects Made]

-Rolling Paper

The Raw Rolling Paper object will be utilized to create joints of weed. The joint created will depend on the strain that you have.

-Swisher Sweets

The Swisher Sweets object will be utilized to create blunts of weed. The blunt created will depend on the strain that you have.

-Bong

The bong will be utilized as one of the options to consume Cannabis.

-Lighter

The lighter will be utilized during some consumption animations. In particular, while lighting a bong.

[Consumptions Animations For Three Drugs]

This month, after finally being able to figure out how to properly set up animations into the game I was able to set up Animations for three drugs during the month. Lean, Cold Medicine, and Shrooms. I have two individuals to thank greatly. As they have answered my many questions regarding setting up object animations. Both Savanita and Olomaya were a huge help.

-Drink Lean

You can drink lean while standing or sitting down.

-Cold Medicine

You may drink cold medicine while standing or sitting down.

-Eat Shroom

You may eat shrooms while standing or sitting down.

[Fixes Made During Testing]

-House Raid Fixed

During my playthrough, I found that my house raid function did not work properly. I went back into the code and completely rewrote how my raid function works. I tested it many times and it has been succesful each time after the rewrite. I'll go over how it works, now that I have in game screenshots of the scenario.

Your sim is sound asleep after a full day of dealing. Getting rest to start doing it again the next day.

You have a Cocaine Brick to cut tomorrow morning...

Some Cured Cannabis to collect tomorrow too...

And some Drug plants to take care of tomorrow morning...

However, before tomorrow can hit. You hear sirens outside late at night.

Your door gets rung...

Only to find out that your residency is being raided...

Once the Raid begins, the suspect sim will remain still while the officer conducts the search. The officer will confiscate every drug, drug plants, dirty money, guns, etc.

If illegal product is found in the residency, then the Suspect sim will be arrested.

Once arrested, the suspect sim will be taken to the police station and be sentenced.

And that is all I have to report on for this month. We went over creating a few objects that will be used in the future, creating animations for three of our drugs, and fixing our House Raid Function.

I am so happy that I finally figured out how to put an animation in the game. As well as having a functional House Raid Function. It's a cool scenario in my opinion. For the following month, I'd like to create animations for all my pill varients of the drugs. Such as MDMA, Xanax, Adderall, and PainKillers. I'm rather slow with animations, so finishing animations for all drugs included with this mod may take a bit. LSD, Cocaine, Meth, Heroin, All 6 Cannabis Strains, Trenbolone, Testosterone Enanthate, and Estrogen blockers are the other drugs that need animations as well. So a total of 3/20 drugs have their animations completed. Some drugs will have more methods of consumption. For example Cannabis will have several options such as using a bong, Joints, Blunts, or a vaporizer.

Progress was slow this month as I was learning how to set up animations into the game and I am completely new to animations, so progress won't be as speedy as when I was focused on the coding aspect of the mod.

Now I'm going to go back into hiding as every cow should.

A/N - Here are my headcanons for Jesper with a chronically ill reader!! Much like with the Nina post, I hope I have done him justice since it's my first time writing for him. Please keep in mind my requests are open, so send any ideas through and I will get round to writing it when i can !! <3

Unlike Kaz, who understands chronic illness and pain first hand, or Nina who has the ability to ease symptoms, Jesper has neither advantage

Panic was all he could process as you explained your condition to him for the first time, traces of fear deepening with each symptom you explained

Throughout the first few flare ups, Jesper would be completely distraught, fussing over your every pain, whilst trying to uphold some sense of calm on his features

However, Jesper is extremely enduring, and would slowly find his footing and discover his own ways of assisting you

Almost as natural as his own breathing, humour would likely be his first call in trying to distract you from your pains and troubles

Ludicrous jokes would spill out of his mouth, as your aches become overwhelmed by laughter, sweeping away your exhausted thoughts

"Come on, even I didn't think that one was that funny?" - he would tease as your mood lightens with the laughter he brings

The sharpshooter would literally do anything to brighten your features with the smile he adores, and humour is definitely what comes to him the easiest

However, sometimes your symptoms make even Jesper's golden jokes seem dull, and he has to push even harder to be rewarded with your melodious laughter

So, I can vividly picture Jesper dragging Inej, Wylan, and Nina into the room, dressed in costumes wilder than imagination itself

"I present to you, the Dreg's production of... uhmm, I can't actually remember what we decided to call it in the end."

Throwing on a similarly garish costume, Jesper would join the crows in performing a slight variation of one of the Barrel's most popular shows

The laughter these performances would bubble out of you would cause all sorts of new pains, your stomach cramping from the amount of laughter drawn out of you

(Even Kaz would not be able to contain a smirk at the sight of it)

The musical varients of these shows would be the absolute best

Jesper would definitely have draws full of notes on which shows he could do next, and how to modify them to exactly what you enjoy most <3

Although Jesper's charm can also distract you from some of your symptoms, he discovered fairly early on that he could use his allurement to help you

Travelling to the most respectable parts of the Barrel, Jesper would charm every doctor he could find into giving him the best advice possible to soothe your condition

After leaving with a flirtatious wink, he would race to gather the medicine they recommend, noting down every shard of information he receives in order to support you

However, I think the easiest form of comfort Jesper can almost always supply, is love

No matter how bad your symptoms are, his arms will always race out to warm you, lips settling gently on your forehead, words wrapping around your being and showering you in flecks of comfort

Despite his initial hesitation, Jesper is a fast learner, and whatever you ask for he will always, always do it for you <3

The Names Commander Clownfish aah well thats my Alias but my Name is Tartar! Pleasure to meet you! *The Sanitized octoling spoke with a raspy voice quite stiff

Commander Clownfish- quite the fitting alias considering the following circumstances- ended up standing there looking like a complete and utter fool, as Denewiah refused to take the handshake and instead crossed his arms. The behemoth was looking at them as if they’d just proudly declared that Inklings were the superior species on Earth. Which is, to say, he was looking at them with great amusement and bewilderment.

“… Ha. Ha ha.” began the mirthful rumble in its ribcage. It rapidly progressed into a full-blown bellowing gale of laughter, one produced largely with its human vocals, and it doubled over with its hands clutching at where its stomach should be.

“AHAHAHAHAHAAAH! GEHEHGK- UHAHAH!!” What the hell’s so funny? Don’t bother trying to ask him. There’s bits of ink rippling and flying from its bells, resembling tears of laughter.

Finally, he settles down, enough to straighten himself out and slip comfortably back into his mechanical vocals. “Hahhh…

You claim… to be a commander, whose name is Tartar… and yet you are an Octoling…”

It sounded more and more bizarre to him the further he laid out the details, and he pressed his claws to his temple as he shook his head with another chuckle. “Absolute nonsense. Did sanitization scramble your brain, my friend?” it asked with a touch of mockery.

Ah. So Denewiah isn’t taking him seriously. At all.

What a shame.
