hi y’all !! i’m getting to my inbox messages , i promise , but i saw that it's been confirmed that logan and j*mes aren't on speaking terms , and that's genuinely insane to me . and yes i will be censoring his name from now on because i am pissed off !!!

especially considering how chipper j*mes has been recently , piping up on logan's radio as often as he can to tell him how wonderful he's doing after that article . i'm not saying it isn't true ; it's been confirmed by marcus ericsson on the swedish podcast viaplay F1 .

i personally find it ridiculous to see that a team principal is no longer speaking with his own driver . that , for whatever reason , he dislikes logan so much that it's lead to this . and the mistreatment of logan will continue . just wait until we find out in two weeks that alex's new teammate isn't logan , and better yet logan might even be replaced after the summer break . it's absolute heinous for him to be continuously treated this way , and it's absolutely infuriating . to see logan continue to be treated like this makes my blood boil . i genuinely am beginning to believe that they only kept logan on the team because of the fanbase and american sponsors he brought in . and to think that could be true is actually insane . it's incredible to me that a team principal can be so conceited that this is what his relationship looks like with a driver . that he only speaks to him and is kind for pr reasons , as we've clearly seen . and it makes me both so sad and so pissed off for logan . he genuinely deserves SO MUCH better .

now, a lot of the kids know that Venus = magic, in general. however, at least to me, intentionally or not Venus was more portrayed like a daoist... ‘magician’ of sorts, but less in a real world daoist sense and more of a cultivator in the xianxia genre sort of way. granted she wears the taijitu (yin yang symbol) and literally showed the boys her box of herbal medicine (and one dessicated vampire heart lololol). and now that I mentioned all of that, I can segue into why I gave her “White Snake” as a code name-- in that I chose it after Bai Suzhen/Bai Shejing which now that my insomnia riddled mind  is typing it out... my reasoning is actually pretty shallow, they both cultivate technically speaking, both work with herbal medicine and they just wanna help people. also just ‘cuz IDW has Venus wearing white now.

okay hi i really hate to do this but i have been receiving an unusually high amount of asks about when something permanent is going to be updated and i understand and appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm but can we please take a moment to remind ourselves that i am not a machine that exists for the sole purpose of churning out fanfiction

i am a fully grown adult currently out of a job and taking commissions to get the rent paid. i have said it before but i swear to god part 12 is in the works and will be posted when it’s finished, that’s really all there is to it. it’s also worth noting that this chapter is going to be quite significant to the plot and that’s a huge reason why i’ve been taking my time with it, we’re at a turning point in the story and i want to do it justice.

i want to make it extremely clear that there’s nothing wrong with asking for crumbs or updates on my progress and i understand that two months is a long time to wait, but let’s also consider that during these two months since the last update i lost my job, hosted family for the holidays, traveled for the holidays and celebrated my birthday. i love you guys and i love this story but it’s far from my only priority in life and all im asking for is a little patience

ok rant over, no hard feelings, back to our scheduled programming etc etc
