Jealousy, jealousy
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: Hi 👋 can you please write for Vincenzo, Jang Han Seok, Jang Han Seo about how will they react when their jealous?
Thank you ❤️
Pairings: Vincenzo Cassano, Jang Han-Seok & Jang Han-Seo x reader
Warnings: toxic relationship (Han-Seok)
Vincenzo Cassano:
Tumblr media
Picking you up at work after your shift was normal for him
normally you are right at the entrance, waiting for him
today you're not
instead, you are still inside and talking to someone
it seemed like you were stopped before leaving, clear as you were holding your bag and dressed in a long coat and his shawl
now Vincenzo knew you were an decent person, not one to ever lie or even think of cheating
but the burning feeling in his chest was impossible to ignore
his hands were clenched, fingernails digging in his palm as he watched from outside
receiving weird looks from a number of people that just as quickly left after being glared at
now there are multiple ways this could go after that
one, he'd remain outside and wait for you
more likely to was option number two
he'd go inside and get you
so with a fake smile plastered on his face, he made his way inside
one of his arms made his way around your waist, a chaste kiss on your cheek before he turned to the person
holding out his hand to greet them, he made sure to tighten his grip a bit more than necessary
then he turned to you again
and you could see the slight annoyance in his eyes, so you excused yourself and made your way outside
"You're jealous."
he scoffs and roles his eyes at you
but does not deny anything and instead chooses to remain quiet
"He's already married with three kids. Trust me, he's not interested."
it changes nothing, Vincenzo has seen man do much worse
but he drops it and focuses on you instead
you might get a more clingy Vincenzo for the rest of the day though
Jang Han Seok:
Tumblr media
won't even try to defend him
he gets jealous quickly, doesn't really like anyone talking to you
but he won't act until it goes to far
which basically means if the other person got a bit too close for his liking
touching you in any way is also a giant no
and if that happens, the person would suddenly not talk to you anymore for some reason
worst case scenario, they'd suddenly dissapear
best example of this is your previous boss
a bit too handsy for Han-Seok's liking, even though his actions were meant in a fatherly way
and you knew this of course, seeing no problem with the touches since they were all with your consent
suddenly he didn't show up the next day
or the next
or the next week
and then you're told that you have a new boss since the previous one quit
you're at a complete loss, which quickly turns into a rant as you tell your boyfriend
unaware as he smiles throughout the story
also unaware of your previous boss' screams from your basement
instead, Han-Seok shushes to sleep with a smirk
Jang Han Seo:
Tumblr media
this man makes it impossible for you not to make him jealous
he trusts you fully, but by God does he get pouty
first time noticing this is at a work party
he's standing by your side, arm wrapped around your waist
you talk to a business partner
one from overseas and thus different ways of greeting
more commonly a kiss, or three, on the cheek while smiling brightly
you are accustomed to this, Han-Seo is definitely not
first, a look of bewilderment
quickly followed by a scoff and roll of the eyes
(cause he's sassy like that)
but as the conversation continues and your laughter doesn't seize, he gets pouty
fingers playing with your dress/shirt, trying to get your attention
all while his bottom lip is slightly pushed out in a form of pout
this can end in two ways then
one, he gets his attention and your friend leaves
which makes him happy, of course, and will probably get you kisses
second one, you continue to talk
gets more pouty before leaving your side, just barely though
gets something to drink or eat, gets you one as well
then basically forces himself in the conversation one way or another
will call you his wife on accident, blushes but remains confident in that statement
he's ready to pop the question anyway if you wanted him too, ring always ready in the inner pocket of his jacket/pants pocket
you usually shrug it off to his greatest disappointment
and when the conversation is fully stopped, you will probably be kissed as well
you're getting kissed anyway, so choose your route

"Hello," you muttered into your phone as you looked through file after file.
"How's my fiance," the voice said cheerily.
"Vinnie," you squealed.
"How are you," Vincenzo sighed.
"Quite well actually. The people here are eager to side with you. Your brother won't stand a chance. How's the plan going for the plaza?"
"Slow," he muttered. "Look, we both have been working hard and I was wondering if you'd like to take a break here."
You paused.
"Are you sure? I thought you wanted us to fully complete our assignments before we saw each other again?"
"I think I'm experiencing something called separation anxiety. I want you here," he concluded.
You sat in the chair and stared at your emails. Maybe, they could wait.
"Okay," you laughed. "I'll book a flight right now. I've never been to South Korea before. What's it like?"
"You'll see when we get here," he chuckled.
"Come on. One thing, just one."
"They have delicious food. Now hurry up," you heard a shuffling in the background. "I need you."
The call stopped and you were filled with giddiness. It's been about 3 weeks since you saw Vincenzo and you'd be lying if you weren't feeling separation anxiety as well.
"Hey, Mrs. Hernadez," you called.
Your assistant came within two seconds.
"Schedule a flight to South Korea as soon as possible and call Mike, tell him to pack some of my things. I want this all done by two," you instructed.
"What about your meeting with the Triad," Mrs. Hernandez reminded you.
Shit
"Right," you muttered. "Okay, change of plans tell Mr. Liu that we have to meet now, just the two of us, and cancel everything else for the next week. Shift the meeting to 12 and shift the flight to 3. That gives you and Mike ample time."
Mrs. Hernandez nodded and rushed away.
You sat back down and began to get ready for Mr. Liu, one of the heads of the Triad. If he agrees to support Vincenzo then your work is practically done. The Italians have wanted to work with the Triad for years, it would expand territory and make millions of dollars for both parties. The triad would have more reach in the west and the mafia would have more reach in Asia, everyone wins.
Vincenzo's job was for funding. Yes, the mafia had plenty of money but most of it went to people who didn't need it. A lot of the gold that Vincenzo would secure would go to helping more people. That's really what drew you to him in the first place, his desire to help people.
Now you just wanted to see him again.

As you left the plane you heard someone call your name.
"Mrs. Cassano," someone said.
At first, you thought you heard wrong.
"Mrs. Cassano," they repeated.
Turning around you saw a young male employee with Vincenzo.
"Future Mrs. Cassano," Vincenzo teased as he held his hand out to you.
"Mr. Cassano," you giggled.
He pulled you into his arms and kissed you. It felt so nice to have his lips on yours and his arms around you again, you had been putting up with harsh and rude men for the past three weeks with no break so it was nice to finally feel safe again.
"How was the flight, Amore Mio," he asked as he walked you to baggage claim.
"Relaxing," you sighed
The boy began to gather all your bags as you and Vincenzo talked about the past weeks. He spoke of the hardships of getting the occupants out of the plaza and you talked about the budding new relationship with the triad.
"We're ready for you," a man said as he motioned to a car outside the airport.
"Thank you," you responded with a slight bow.
With Vincenzo's hand on your back, you made your way to the black sleek car out on the curb.
"I cannot wait to get you home," whispered Vincenzo.
His hands squeezed your waist and his chin rested on your shoulder.
"Patience darling," you hummed, as you turned to face him.
"Patience. Not one of my virtues," he sighed as he leaned down to kiss you again.
Any other time you would have dogged the kiss, just to prompt him into a chase but you were desperate for any physical contact. Right now, you were exerting all self-control but once you got home you were going to pounce on him.
Vincenzo opened the door to your side of the car like a true gentleman. You sat into the black leather seats at felt an overwhelming feeling of giddiness fill you. You had one week with Vincenzo before you had to go back to America so you had to make the most of the time you had.
Both Vincenzo and the driver got into the car at the same time and the ride began.
"JW Marriott Hotel please," Vincenzo instructed.
You looked at him with a puzzled look.
"There is no way I'm letting you stay at the plaza. I want you to sleep well and in comfort," Vincenzo said.
"But, you will be staying with me. Right?"
"Of course."
You moved closer to your fiancé and he wrapped his arm around your shoulders, pulling you even closer.
"I missed you, babe," you smiled as you leaned your head on him.
"Trust me, the feeling is mutual," he responded.
Four days later
You are an idiot
You sighed as you continued to pack your bags. You had only been in South Korea for half a week and you knew it wasn't worth the wasted time. You had thought that the time spent here would be relaxing and sexy but it was far from it. Every time you wanted to spend time with Vincenzo it was cut short. At first, you understood, not everything could be stopped for you. But now? Now you were fed up

Strike 1
It was the first day of your and Vincenzo's short vacation and he was showing you around the city. You had no idea where you were but it was beautiful and you felt safe with Vincenzo as your guide. Both of you had dawned clothes for comfort instead of business and you couldn't have been more grateful, witnessing Vincenzo in joggers and a sweatshirt was a dream.
"This park is beautiful," you sighed as you wandered around in the tall trees your arms intertwined with Vincenzo's
"Montmartre is one of my favorites," Vincenzo commented as he stroked your hand.
"I can see why," you giggled before gasping.
"What, what is it," Vincenzo whispered, hearing your gasp put him on high alert immediately.
"A deer," you whispered back pointing to a shadowing patch near a couple of boulders.
Vincenzo's shoulders dropped and he let out a sigh/chuckle that warmed your heart. Getting a completely loosened-up Vincenzo was rare, sometimes even for you. So to see him happy and with wonder in his eyes was a treat.
He watched with wide eyes as the deer slowly walked towards the wooden bridge that was a few meters away from you. However, you didn't notice the deer moving, your eyes were fully on your fiance. He was a little flushed from all the walking and his stubble was beginning to grow, slight scars were on his cheeks from when he used to get into brawls; his hair, which was usually slicked back, fell onto his forehead and for once instead of being a consigliere he was simply Vincenzo.
"W-what," he stuttered as he realized you were staring at him.
"I love you," you said randomly.
His mouth parted slightly before falling into a light smile.
"You can't say that randomly," he chuckled.
"And you're supposed to say it back," you chastised before shoving into him playfully.
His arm wrapped around you and his grip tightened as he kissed your cheek.
"I love you too," he sing-songed back to you.
"How romantic," you laughed.
"Only the best for my Amore," he smiled.
You were overwhelmed with a sudden wave of glee and embarrassment. You turned your face away from your lover and covered your face with your palms.
"Oh no," he whined.
When you looked back the deer had taken off due to a child running to it.
You giggled at the child. You had always wished for a child, a mini-you, or a mini Vincenzo. You stared for a long time until you heard Vincenzo mutter a, 'fuck,' under his breath.
"What's wrong," you asked distantly, eyes still on the small toddler.
"They need me," he sighed.
"Okay," you sighed back.
"I told them not to call me for this entire week. Can't those incompetent fools hand-"
"Vincenzo," you cut him off. "I'm sure it'll be a one-time thing, alright?"
He pouted before nodding and taking off.
"I love you," you called.
"I love you too," he called back.
"Shit," you cursed as you came to the realization.
You walked around and tried to remember the path you came from.
"How the hell am I going to get out of here?"

Strike 2
You fell onto the bed with a groan. Vincenzo fell right beside you.
Giggling, you rolled over onto him and immediately began to kiss him. Straddling his hips, you sat up and began to take off your shirt. As you had your arms up you felt his hands traveling up and down your waist, caressing and squeezing.
"Sei più Bella di un Angelo," he breathed. You're more beautiful than an angel.
You blushed and rested your hands on his chest.
"My love, you know that when you speak Italian it gets me all hot and bothered," you giggled.
"That's the point," he smiled.
His hands continued to travel down your body, now resting on your thighs. You began to unbutton his shirt and as you did you ground your hips down on him. His lean body was always a source of motivation, his milky skin made you want to scratch it and turn it red.
"I missed you so much," you groaned as you continued to grind yourself onto him.
All of a sudden, he flipped both of you over and ripped off his shirt.
"You have no fucking idea how much I need you," he growled.
He began to kiss your neck, leaving marks in his wake. As you arched your back he took the opportunity to undo your bra. His mouth attacked your breasts and all you could do was take it, your hands combed through his hair and your back continued to arch into him.
"Fuck," you groaned.
Vincenzo continued to descend and soon he was unbuckling your pants. He looked up at you through dazed eyes, slowly taking off your bottoms.
"I haven't tasted you in weeks," he smirked. "I should savor this, shouldn't I?"
"Yes maestro," you breathed as you watched Vincenzo rub his nose onto your clothed clit.
"It's been so long and you remembered my name. Such a good girl," he cooed.
"I could never forget your name," you smiled blissfully.
Vincenzo growled and the vibrations sent shivers up your spine.
He slowly began to peel off your underwear and you waited for him to blow onto your heat, one of the things he always did before he was about to eat you out.
Ring Ring Ring
Vincenzo looked over and saw that it was his phone. You could see the look of apprehension in his eyes.
"Is it important," you ask a little too calmly.
"I don't know," he answers in a quiet, almost embarrassed voice.
"Well, can we ignore it," you question in a hopeful tone.
"Amore I-," he starts while reaching for the phone on the nightstand and checking it. " -don't want to miss anything. I know that we were going to spend this time together but if we get this done then we could spend unlimited time together. There is a reason why this is so important to me."
"I-I know," you stuttered out, still a little dazed over.
"Okay, I love you," he said as he kissed your cheek.
You gawked as you saw him grab his shirt and start putting it on before running out the door.
"I love you too," you whispered to yourself.

Strike 3
You held Vincenzo's hand as he took you to a nice restaurant on the other side of town.
"This place looks so nice," you commented.
"It is," Vincenzo agreed. "The food is the best."
You smiled as he held the door open for you and as soon as you entered you knew how good the food was going to be. The scents of the ingredients wafted into your nose and made your mouth water.
Vincenzo placed his hand on your back as you both followed the waiter to your seats.
"감사합니다," you smiled as you took the menu from the waiter.
You began to look over the menu as Vincenzo asked for the wine list. Immediately you knew what you wanted.
"Pinot Grigio," he instructed.
The waiter bowed as he went to go get the bottle of wine.
"I think I'm having the beef bulgogi and the fried rice, " you said as you set the menu down.
He continued to stare at you as you looked around and took in your surroundings. Once your eyes landed on him your face began to heat up.
"Stop staring at me," you muttered.
"Why," he laughed.
"Because...I don't know, just stop," you stuttered.
He continued.
“Stop," you whine/laughed.
"But I don't want to," he chuckled.
"Vincenzo," a voice called.
The voice captured both you and Vincenzo's attention as you both looked around for the source of the noise. You prayed that it was a mistake and that you heard the name wrong.
"Vincenzo," the voice repeated as the person was revealed.
A woman in a pantsuit was now standing next to your table.
"What," he snapped.
"We need you at the firm," she informed.
"You must be Chayoung," you smiled a tight-lipped smile.
The person constantly bugging us, you thought.
"I am and you must be his fiancé," she smiled back.
You could tell that she didn't like you. She leaned over to Vincenzo and whispered something in his ear and just like that you knew that he was going to leave.
"Amore Mio, I have t-"
"I know," you sighed, cutting him off.
"I'm so sorry," he apologized.
"It's fine," you smiled.
It's so not fine.
He kissed your forehead as he left with Chayoung. You felt a pang in your heart as he walked away and out the door. You cracked your neck and let your face fall into an annoyed look as you felt your eyes sting with oncoming tears.
"No, you are not crying," you muttered as you wiped your tears away quickly. "You're part of the god damn mafia, act like it.”
"Ma'am is it just you now," the waiter came up and asked.
"Oh, uh, yes. I'm ready to order by the way."
|*|
As you continued to fold your clothes you were filled with sadness and disappointment. You had been so excited to spend time with Vincenzo and get a break from the constant stress that your line of work brought but, every day here was just a slap to your face. You thought that you were higher on Vincenzo's list of priorities, obviously not.
Suddenly, you felt a presence emerge behind you.
"I didn't hear you come in," you sighed without turning around.
"What are you doing," Vincenzo asked, confused by your readiness to leave.
"I'm going back to America," you informed as you finished packing.
"Wait, what," Vincenzo exclaimed. "Why?"
"I don't see why not," you explained. "I could be doing more productive things."
Vincenzo came up beside you and began to take things out of your suitcase, effectively stalling.
"Stop it," you demanded.
"What is this about," he questioned.
"Every time we try to spend time together something gets in the way," you informed.
You grabbed the clothes that he had thrown out and put them back in your suitcase.
"I'm not mad," you lied. "But, what's the point of me being here if I'm not even spending time with you. I can work on preparations for a meal with the Triad's leaders, it'll be a more effective use of my time."
Vincenzo looked at you in disbelief.
"I can't control when they need me," Vincenzo sighed.
"Like I said, I'm not mad," you lied again.
"You are though. You do this thing when your mad, you constantly run your hands through your hair," Vincenzo informed.
You could feel your jaw tighten.
"Okay, so," you said with an eye roll, a dash of pettiness seeping through.
"So, you are mad. I really am sorry my love," he apologized.
He walked behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist, "Please stay."
You paused and sighed. You wanted to, badly, but you felt that if you did then more time would be wasted.
"No," you said firmly.
You finished and zipped up the suitcase before going to grab your shoes. Before you could get there though, Vincenzo grabbed you and brought your back against his chest.
"Please," he begged. "Stay with me."
His hands traveled up and down your sides leaving goosebumps in their wake. He brought his nose to your neck before whispering in your ear, "Please."
You stifled a moan.
"Please," he moaned in your ear.
He spun you around and gripped your waist tightly.
"Please jagi," he groaned again.
His nose continued to nuzzle into your neck and his cologne wafted up. His scent always made you swoon and right now, it was making it hard to control yourself. Vincenzo always knew how to push the right buttons, how to string you along.
Your breath was beginning to quicken and you could feel your legs tightening up. Your pride was beginning to wear thin as your clenched fist slowly relaxed.
"제발 자기야," he begged one final time. Please jagiya.
Just as he moved his face up you slammed your lips into his. You could feel his smirk on your lips and it aggravated you beyond comprehension, he wanted this. He wanted your resolve to crumble, for you to give into him. His hands settled on the side of your face before moving to your waist.
"That's it darling," he smiled as he gripped your hips. "I'm sorry baby."
You whined as he paused discarding his shirt. His slim figure made you want to pounce on him. He began to unbutton your pants and in the blink of an eye, you felt your pants hit the floor.
"Maestro," you whimpered.
"Hmm, I haven't paid you enough attention," he commented as he backed you against the wall. "Have I?"
"No, missed you so much," you whined.
"I'm so sorry," he breathed as his lips connected with yours once more. “I’m sorry.”
"Maestro, please touch me," you begged.
"Touch you? Like this," he smirked as his fingers slipped down and rubbed against your swollen clit softly.
“Mm Hm,” you moaned out.
You gripped his biceps, trying to steady yourself. The pleasure hit you like a brick; you hadn’t touched yourself in a while; you hoped Vincenzo would take all your pleasure.
“You like that? Hm? Do you feel it?”
“Maestro, please. Please, I want you,” you groaned.
“Wait, baby,” He smirked, picking you up and wrapping your legs around his waist. “I have to show you how sorry I am. A woman like you deserves all of my attention. Don’t you?”
You moaned in response, feeling his pants rub against your heat, you willed your hips to move more so you could feel more friction.
“Grind yourself into me, baby. Show me how much you missed me,” Vincenzo commanded as he sat on the edge of your bed.
You placed your hands on his shoulders and moved your hips the best you could. Back and forth, left, right, and in circles. Pants and mewls fell from your lips as the friction did little to satiate the hunger growing in your abdomen. Vincenzo took the chance to rid you of your shirt and bra, practically ripping the fabric and splitting your shirt in two. His mouth quickly found your right nipple and he began to suck and lick, occasionally nipping at the supple flesh.
“Maestro,” you whimpered. “I need more, please.”
“And you deserve more, don’t you,” he smiled as he rolled your left bud in between his thumb and index finger. “You’ve been my good girl even when I wasn’t a good fiance to you. I’m so proud of you baby.”
His tongue felt around your neck to feel your pulse before sucking on it as he kneaded your ass.
“My good girl,” he groaned in between kisses.
“Your good girl,” you repeated.
He hummed before moving you to the head of the bed. His fingers lightly trailed from your collar bone, down to your cleavage, and found their home on your hip. His dark eyes met yours and stayed on them as he leaned down to kiss your chest, you whimpered under his gaze and rolled your hips.
“Stay still,” he commanded. “Be patient my love, or do I need to tie you up?”
Your thighs clenched at the suggestion and Vincenzo noticed.
“Oh,” he smirked. “You want that?”
“Yes, yes, please. Please yes,” you groaned.
Vincenzo reached over to the floor and grabbed his tie.
“I can’t believe you were going to leave me,” he growled as he weaved his silk tie through the headrest. “You’re mine. You can’t leave me…I won’t let you. I’m gonna make you regret even thinking about leaving.”
He finally tightened the silk tie around your wrist then around the headboard, knotting it with frightening expertise. His pale hands caressed yours in a way that made you feel safe regardless of the terrible things he’d done. The silk rubbed against your skin in a comforting, familiar way, kissing your skin as it irritated it.
Vincenzo leaned back and admired you, hands never leaving your body. His eyes trailed over your heated form, taking in the way your chest rose and fell and the way your body reacted to his touch. How you leaned into it without realizing it.
“Maestro, please,” you groaned. “Please don’t leave me like this.”
“I would never,” he smirked, only slightly teasing you.
His hands trailed down from your hip to your knees, allowing him to bring his face to your calves. You began to feel soft pecks and licks on your calves as Vincenzo worshiped your body. His tongue trailed up, up, up until it found itself on your inner thigh. His teeth nipped at the sensitive skin and he smirked when you jumped at the feeling.
“Please, don’t tease me,” you whined.
“I will do what I want,” his growl accompanied by a sharp slap to your thigh and you gasped as soft pain blossomed.
All of a sudden, you felt a light breeze on your core and then a kiss. Vincenzo placed your legs on top of both shoulders, his hands then found a home around your waist, holding you there.
“Fuck, can’t believe I haven’t tasted you yet,” he groaned, kissing around where you wanted him most.
His tongue immediately found your clit making you throw your head back and roll your body. Your nerves caught fire, your arms pulled at the tie, and your breathing became erratic under Vincenzo’s ministrations. His fingers replaced his tongue as his mouth moved to your cavern, his tongue gave an experimental lick to your entrance before diving in. Vincenzo let out a guttural groan at the taste of you.
Vincenzo’s wet muscle explored and tasted your sweetness as a pleasurable pressure built up in your abdomen. You looked down, wanting to see your Master. You watched Vincenzo’s actions, his usual clean hair was now a mop of black, his pale arms flexed around your thighs as he used them for support, and you could see his back muscles working to hold him up. You gasped as you noticed him grinding down onto the bed, searching for his own pleasure as he pleased you.
Vincenzo kept his fingers on your clit as he stopped making out with your pussy, rubbing in small, fast circles. He looked up at you and you could feel the knot in your stomach tighten up. His face was flushed red and he was out of breath, he watched you with a certain look of admiration. He smiled up at you before kissing your inner thigh.
“Are you gonna cum, Angelo?”
“Fuck, yes. Feels so g-good. Please don’t stop, Maestro, please,” you beg.
“It feels good,” he teased.
“So good,” you confirm trying to focus on his words instead of his digits on your clit.
“What if I stopped?”
“No no no no, please don’t,” you gasp. “Please please!”
“Stay with me,” he asked. “Stay. Don’t fucking leave me.”
“Will you stay with me,” you countered.
“Fuck,” he groaned. “I’ll stay with you. I won’t leave again.”
He rubbed your clit faster and his lips found yours. Your body spasmed at the sudden stimulation.
“Who do you belong to, mia bella?”
“You,” you whined out.
“Who?”
“Maestro,” you cried as you came. Your orgasm hit you like a bat. Pleasure dripped from your fingers and turned your body into liquid.
Vincenzo brought his body up and kissed your neck. He ground his hips into your core, his pants bringing friction to your southern regions; overstimulating you.
“Do you feel what you’re doing to me? Huh, baby? Do you feel how hard you’re making me,” he breathed into your ear.
“Please fuck me,” you whispered.
“Say it a little louder baby,” he commanded.
“Please fuck me,” you repeated a little louder.
Vincenzo’s pants fell onto the floor, followed by his underwear and he practically hissed at the feeling of his hard-on being free. His hand stroked his cock, his tip glistening with pre-cum. He nestled his hands under your knees and pulled you down to meet his hips. His cock rubbed against your folds, coating it with your juices and sending Vincenzo into a frenzy.
He leaned down and placed his hand near your head to stabilize himself. His lips planted themselves on yours once more before delivering a powerful thrust, burying himself in you.
“Hng,” you moaned as his thrusts continued.
You felt a stinging sensation on your thigh as another harsh slap was delivered.
“Do you feel how much I love you yet,” Vincenzo panted. “Huh?”
You arched your back in response feeling his cock hit your cervix. He wanted you to know how perfect you were, how much he loved you and wanted to be with you, how much you meant to him. He loved the way he could get you, how he easily could turn you dumb with just a few touches.
“Do you? Fucking answer me,” he snarled as his hands wrapped around your hair, pulling your head to the side and baring your neck to him.
His onslaught of pleasure never ceased as he ravaged every part of you.
“Yes, I’m sorry maestro, I’m s-sorry,” you stuttered out as a particularly harsh thrust was delivered.
You wrestled with the tie above you as your desire to touch Vincenzo increased. You wanted to feel his skin and scratch his back, wanted to feel his muscles work and be able to pull him in to kiss you. You wanted to taste him.
“Maestro,” You cried. “Want to touch you.”
Vincenzo grinned and ignored you, all that could be heard from him were grunts of pleasure. Sounds of skin on skin paired with the smell of sex, mixing with small traces of Vincenzo’s cologne, and your perfume sent your mind into a trance.
“Please,” You babbled, “Please untie me, plea-ah!”
The pad of his thumb met your swollen clit, gentle circles and the harshness of his thrusts made your mind even number, the contrast too great.
“Please, Please, Please,” you begged dumbly.
Vincenzo loved it when you begged. The tingles it sent down his spine and into his cock were beyond delicious. Your whiny, breathy, and raspy words tied his core in a luscious knot that both pleased and confounded him.
He undid the tie frantically and threw it onto the floor. His hands found your waist and gripped it tightly before flipping you over and harshly lifting your pelvis back up to his groin. Pleasure shot through you at the new position and two quick, sharp slaps were delivered to your ass, no doubt leaving a mark.
Your juices dripped down your thigh and onto the sheets leaving a vulgar wet spot in between your legs. Vincenzo’s grunts got louder and he found his hands wrapping around your hair and pulling it until your back met his chest.
“You don’t know what you do to me,” he rasped. “You’ve fucking ruined me.”
Your hands found the headboard and your pussy fluttered around Vincenzo’s cock. You wanted badly to respond but his cock had a way of frying your brain and he loved it; turning you into his personal little whore had become Vincenzo’s favorite hobby.
Vincenzo’s lips found your neck as his hands stayed in your hair to hold you in place, his other on your waist. Every nip and lick he gave your neck sent shockwaves of euphoria to your pussy, his plump lips leaving trails of saliva in their wake as well as red hot pleasure.
“Maestro, Maestro,” you called out like a mantra.
“My beautiful little angel, just wanting Maestro to care for them,” he cooed out, his words contrasting his actions. “I’m here baby, and you're going to take everything I give you. Aren’t you?”
His left hand moved from your hip and down to your sopping core. Harsh circles met your clit and you felt your vision getting blurry.
“Cum…going…cum…Maestro please,” you gasped out, craning your neck to see him.
Vincenzo met your efforts and placed an open-mouth kiss on your lips, tongue delving into your mouth and encircling yours. The lack of oxygen increased your pleasure ten-fold and brought your orgasm crashing down on you, bright fiery red pleasure clouded your vision as your body fell limp against Vincenzo.
“So hot baby, always so hot for me,” his grunts becoming whines.
His hand moved from your core to your mouth and your senses were flooded with your taste. His fingers played with your tongue as his hot breath fanned over your ear. You feel his abdomen quiver against your back and notice the falters in ministrations, his grunts and moans becoming whines and whimpers.
“Fuck baby, keep squeezing me like that,” he whimpered. “Just like that.”
Your pussy is hit with an onslaught of quick, sharp thrusts.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck,” Vincenzo whines out.
His arms tense and squeeze you as he lets out a guttural moan, ribbons of white, hot cum spilling from the tip of his cock and into your womb. One hand holds your stomach while the other sweeps your hair from your neck, soft kisses meet your nape and you smile as you feel his smile on your skin.
“Don’t leave me,” he says finally against your nape. “Please, please don’t. Stay with me.”
More kisses are placed across the other side of your neck as his fingers trace the sides of your abdomen. You look back and as you lay in his arms you notice his flushed state. The red in his cheeks where still there, evidence of the physical activities that had just taken place, his hair is sticking up in abnormal places, and his lips had remnants of your lipstick. He looked like a sex god.
“Okay,” you whisper. “But, please don’t go again and spend time with me.”
“I promise,” he agrees.

Vincenzo had been away from Italy for a few months now. When he left you told him not to worry you’d keep everything in order for him. With Luca’s help of course. In this world Vincenzo and Luca were the only two people you could truly trust and rely on. When you heard that Luca would be going to Korea, you knew what you wanted to do.
“Please, Luca.” You stopped Luca in the hallway, blocking his path. “Take me with you. I want to go too.” “Y/N, I’m not going for pleasure. I need to deliver what Vincenzo has asked for.” “I hear what you’re saying, you can leave me at the airport and I’ll find him on my own. I won’t get in your way. Just don’t tell Vincenzo about my arrival.” You pouted at Luca. He sighed heavily and ran his right hand through his hair. “Fine. You know the rules. Do not distract me, stay out of trouble, do not bring unnecessary attention to yourself, and always make sure you aren’t being followed. Understood.” Luca said giving up on saying no to you. “Understood!” You responded excitedly. “Go pack, we leave in fifteen minutes.” Luca told you.
About an hour later the two of you were on a flight to Korea. While the flight attendant made the announcements they mentioned that it would be an eleven hour long flight. The plane you were on wasn’t as crowded as you had thought it would be. You looked around at the passengers surveying them and your surroundings. You didn’t see anyone you recognized or anyone that would recognize you, so you began to relax a little.
“You do know that I can’t just leave you alone at the airport, right?” Luca asked quietly. “Why not?” You gave him a puzzled look. “Vincenzo would kill me if he found out I did that to you. Instead I’ll take you to where he is. You can surprise him first, then I’ll deliver the items.” Luca replied to you. You laughed a little at his statement but nodded your head in agreement. When it seemed like the conversation was over you decided to get comfortable and sleep. Because what else were you going to do for eleven hours.
Time had seemed to fly by, no pun intended. It seemed like you had fallen asleep not even five minutes ago. You yawned and stretched the best you could in such a small space. “Here already?” You asked as you stood up next to Luca. “You slept almost the entire flight. Did you know that you talk in your sleep?” Luca asked with a smirk as he grabbed his brief case and your carry on bag. “I do not.” You playfully smacked his arm. He only shook his head and lightly laughed at your antics. Your face grew warm trying to think of what you would be saying in your sleep, and hoping that you didn’t say anything embarrassing. You silently followed Luca off the plane and into the airport terminal.
At one point Luca had to stop before the two of you got separated in the crowd. You had gotten distracted by your thoughts and wasn’t paying attention to where you were going. When the two of you made it to luggage claims you saw your suitcase right away. After grabbing it and turning to see Luca grab his, you followed his lead.
“Luca, why didn’t we take our private jet?” You asked him curiously. “Simple, I didn’t want our enemies to notice that we both left Italy. It’s best that we never bring that chaos to Korea with us.” Luca explained as he held the exit door open for you. “This way.” Luca directed the two of you to a black SUV sitting in the pick up lane. “Way to stick out.” You teased him. Luca rolled his eyes as he opened the trunk door. “It was the only rental vehicle they had available when I set everything up.” He told you as he put all the bags into the vehicle. You glanced inside and noticed someone sitting at the driver’s seat. You turned to Luca with a skeptical look. “Don’t worry. I trust this man.” Luca said when he noticed the look on your face. He closed the trunk door and walked around to the passenger side. “I trust your judgment.” You told him as you walked to the door behind his seat. Once the two of you were buckled in the driver began to drive away. Luca told the man where to go. The car ride to the plaza was silent. You stared out the window taking in all the sights and buildings passing by. After awhile the SUV came to a stop in front of a building.
“This is the suite you’ll be looking for.” Luca turned to hand you a piece of paper. You took it from him and stared at it a moment before opening your door to get out. Luca followed your lead and got out as well. He knew you were able to get the bags yourself but he silently offered his help when he noticed how nervous you looked. “Just so you know, I’m only here to deliver this briefcase to him, nothing more.” Luca told you in a reassuring tone. You nodded your head as you took your luggage from him. “All I ask is, try not to get hurt during your visit.” Luca told you as he stretched his arm up to bring the back door down to close it. “I’ll be with Vincenzo, you never know what could happen, but I’ll try my best.” You said before walking off. “I’ll see you later.” Luca yelled out his window as the SUV drove away.
It took you a few minutes to find the office. But you found it and became overwhelmed with excitement. Before opening the door you calmed yourself down so that you could quietly sneak in. You silently set your luggage down beside the door when you stepped inside. Luckily enough for you Vincenzo was the only one present at the moment and he was distracted by watering the plants that lined the shelf by a window. “Long time, no see.” Your voice broke the silence making Vincenzo jump a little. He would only do that when he was too lost in his own thoughts. “How many times do I have to tell you not to sneak up on me.” Vincenzo playfully scolded you. “And how many times do I have to tell you to not get so lost in thought.” You retorted. Vincenzo rolled his eyes. “Also good to see you too.” You smiled at him and leaned against the table you were standing next to. “It’s good to see you.” He tried to hide the smile that graced his features. Truth be told he was happy to see you, because of all the people to miss he missed you the most. However he would never admit that out loud to anyone.
“Now that we took care of that…” You turned your attention to the man and woman that had just walked into the room. The woman’s words trailing off when she noticed your presence. Eyeing you suspiciously. “Mr. Nam, Cha-young, this is Y/N. She’s a close friend of mine from Italy.” Vincenzo stepped away from the plants to stand next to you as he spoke. You smiled and waved at them. “It’s nice to meet you.” Mr. Nam stated politely. “Hm, since it seems Vincenzo trusts you, I’ll trust his judgment.” Cha-young told you. “That’s fair enough.” Was the only response you could think of. You felt that it would take time for her to warm up to you. “I’ll grab everyone a cup of tea.” Mr. Nam announced as he walked off somewhere in the office. You decided to take a seat at the table. Vincenzo and Cha-young following your lead. Before Vincenzo sat down he caught a glimpse of your bags beside the door.
“Do you have a place to stay?” Vincenzo asked. Your face grew warm when you realized you hadn’t thought that far ahead. “I’ll figure it out.” You told him. “Here we are.” Mr. Nam said as he set a cup down in front of everyone, before taking a seat with his own cup. “No need to figure it out. You’ll stay with me.” Vincenzo stated as a matter of fact. You hid the smile that graced your features behind the mug you sipped from. “Are we expecting any more guests today?” Mr. Nam asked curiously. “Well, Y/N is a surprise guest. However Luca said he’d be stopping by sometime soon.” Vincenzo gave you a look as he spoke. You could tell that he figured out how you got here.
“So, Y/N do know what Vincenzo has been up to here lately?” Cha-young asked, putting all the attention on you. You nodded. “I have a bit of knowledge of what is going on. Has something to do with a chairman and a company named Babel.” Cha-young nodded her head at you. Vincenzo looked from you to Cha-young. He could tell that although she had seemed to be pleased with your reply, she also seemed wary of you. He silently hoped that would change soon because he felt that may cause problems for all parties involved.
Before anyone could say anything else Luca walked into the office. Vincenzo stood up from the table to greet him, and to direct him back out of the office. Wanting to speak to him for a moment alone. His actions left the three of you in awkward silence.
“Is she causing trouble already?” Luca asked as Vincenzo closed the door behind himself. “No, her presence is just a surprise to us, especially me.” Vincenzo crossed his arms over his chest as he leaned against the wall. “She found out about my trip to Korea. She begged to come with. It was either I leave her alone there and allow her to create chaos out of boredom, or bring her with.” Luca said with a smirk. Vincenzo nodded, knowing full well the havoc you create when you’re bored. “Here, everything you asked for.” Luca said as he handed the briefcase off to Vincenzo. “I’ll be sticking around a few days, just in case I’m needed.” “Good idea. I appreciate it. Don’t worry about Y/N, she’ll be staying with me.” Vincenzo stated. Luca nodded his head before walking away to wherever he had decided to stay.
“See, this is Jang Han-seo, he’s not the real chairman.” Vincenzo saw Mr. Nam showing you pictures and explaining the entire situation when he walked back into the office. “I’m still pissed at Jun-woo.” Cha-young stated angrily. “That sort of betrayal would make me angry too.” You looked up from the pictures to Cha-young as you spoke. You noticed how she relaxed a little and nodded at you. You took her gesture as a good sign. “I see you’re getting brought up to date on what’s going on.” Vincenzo set the briefcase down on his desk before taking a seat at the table. “I figured that you wouldn’t mind. Seeing as she’s a close friend of yours and could possibly help us.” Mr. Nam said. “You’re not mad about it, are you?” You asked him with a small pout. “Not all. I prefer this opposed to you sneaking around and getting into unnecessary trouble for it. Just to gather the information that you wanted.” Vincenzo said. “You know me so well.” You responded. “Will you be willing to help us, if we ask for your help?” Cha-young asked you. “Of course. While I’m visiting, I’ll help in any way possible.” You replied with a smile. Mr. Nam continued on for a few more hours. Cha-young and Vincenzo chiming in every so often.
✨✨✨✨
“We should stop here for now.” Vincenzo suddenly announced. “We’ve covered the basics for today. We’ll gradually get you fully caught up as the days go by.” Vincenzo stood up from his chair and began to help Mr. Nam organize and put all the documents away. “So, what should we do now?” You asked Vincenzo. “Why don’t we go out for dinner.” Cha-young suggested. “Sounds perfect!” You said in excitement. Mr. Nam silently shook his head in agreement. Vincenzo was silent for a moment “fine, but first we take your luggage to my place.” He looked at you when he mentioned the luggage. You nodded at him. “We’ll wait for you in the car.” Mr. Nam said as he put on his coat and headed out of the office. Cha-young smiled before leaving with him, having put her coat on the moment she mentioned dinner.
Vincenzo made a gesture for you to follow him. He had grabbed your bags on the way out of the office. You silently followed behind him. Curious on where his place was. Of course it was within the plaza so you didn’t have to go too far. As the two of you walked together, he talked about the other tenants. He also filled you in on the gold and getting help from a man named Cho Yeong-un. You tried your best to remember all the names he was mentioning and what everyone did. When you finally made it to his place he opened the door and allowed you to step inside first.
“What’s that noise?” You turned to Vincenzo. You could hear a light tapping and it piqued your curiosity. “I’ll show you.” Vincenzo said as he motioned for you to follow him. You were surprised that he was still rolling around your luggage. You followed him into what you assumed was his bedroom. He set your bags beside his dresser before walking over to the window. Moving the curtain aside you were surprised to see a pigeon tapping on the glass. You curiously watched him grab a small bag of bird feed before he opened the window. “This is Inzaghi. We have an agreement of sorts, it’s why he comes around.” Vincenzo said as he spread some bird feed feed on the ledge. You nodded and decided to wave at Inzaghi. “That’s adorable that you care for a pigeon.” You told him in a teasing tone. “Come on, they’re waiting on us.” Vincenzo said as he rolled his eyes and closed the window. You lightly laughed at him as you followed him out of the room and then out of the apartment. It took a few minutes for the two of you to walk to the car. Mr. Nam was driving, Cha-young sat in the passenger seat. Vincenzo didn’t seem to mind at all. When the two of you got to the car he opened your door to let you in first. Once Vincenzo was in the car Mr. Nam drove away from the building.
✨✨✨✨
The restaurant the four of you had decided to go to seemed like a semi fancy place with a relaxing atmosphere. Even though you were feeling a bit jet lagged you still tried your best to enjoy yourself.  You joined in on the conversation here and there. Aside from that you mostly stayed silent and observed. You were eyeing Vincenzo for several moments. Looking at the way his hair wasn’t slicked back, the way his posture seemed relaxed, and of course that smile of his. It had been a long time since you had seen him like this and it made your heart skip a beat. Your face grew warm when he noticed you staring and he raised a brow in your direction.
“So, how long do you plan to stay?” Cha-young asked. “Hm, I didn’t really think about that to be honest.” You replied. “Are you in the same line of work as Mr. Cassano?” Mr. Nam asked curiously. “That sounds like a loaded question. The only answer I can give is, I can neither confirm or deny that information.” You said. Vincenzo smirked at your statement. “That’s fair.” Cha-young said.
“Fancy seeing you here.” You turned in the direction of the voice to see Jun-woo with Choi Myung-hee beside him. You glanced over to Vincenzo when you noticed that Jun-woo’s words were directed at him. You could see Vincenzo tense up instantly. “I figured this establishment wouldn’t be up to your standards.” Vincenzo said. He looked up to Jun-woo with a glare. “You’re new. What’s your name?” Jun-woo turned his attention to you. “None of your business.” You replied annoyance clear in your voice. “Oh, fiesty. I like that. Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll figure out who you are. See you around.” Jun-woo said to you. He winked at you as he walked away. Choi Myung-hee eyed you curiously as she followed behind him.
“Good thing we already finished eating, because seeing him would have made me lose my appetite.” Mr. Nam said. Cha-young grunted in agreement with him. Vincenzo looked like he was about to get up and cause a scene. Before he could stand you grabbed his arm and looked up at him. “Don’t, you reacting is exactly what he wants.” You told him. Vincenzo looked between you and Jun-woo. He sighed heavily before relaxing back into his chair. He glanced at the exit one last time to see that they had left. Cha-young and Mr. Nam shared a surprise look with each other. This was the first time they had witnessed someone tell Vincenzo to stop and he actually listened.
✨✨✨✨
A week had gone by since you first arrived. There had been many moments that shocked everyone around Vincenzo. You were used to being one of few that Vincenzo would actually listen to. It seemed like the tenants weren’t used to it though. They had always witnessed Vincenzo do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. You were currently talking to Mi-ri about her hacking skills. Vincenzo was sitting at a table with Mr. Ahn, Cha-young, and Mr. Nam.
“I think it’s cute how you listen to Y/N.” Mr. Ahn suddenly said. Vincenzo turned his gaze to him and raised his brow. “No, he’s right. I’ve noticed she’s the only one that you truly listen to.” Cha-young said in a teasing tone. Mr. Nam tried his best to hide his smile. “Are you done?” Vincenzo asked. “You’ve got to admit that listening to her has helped you stay out of trouble.” Mr. Nam chimed in. Vincenzo leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms.
“Why so gloomy?” You asked when you sat down at the table with them. Mi-ri had to leave due to an appointment. “Ah, come on. We’re just teasing. No need to be so gloomy about it.” Cha-young said with a mock pout. You smiled at Cha-young. You knew exactly why he was being teased. You decided to lean forward and poke Vincenzo’s cheek. “Turn that frown upside down.” You told him. You gently pressed your finger by the corner of his lip. Making it look like he was half smiling. Vincenzo softly pushed your hand away. “You know I can get away with murder right.” His tone was casual. You only laughed at his statement. “Of course we know.” Mr. Nam said.
Vincenzo rolled his eyes as he stood up. “I’ll be in the office.” “Now, you aren’t going to do something that Y/N would tell you not to, are you?” Mr. Ahn said with a smirk on his face. Vincenzo didn’t respond instead he kept walking. Leaving you with the others laughing a little.
You had stayed with them for awhile longer before you went back to the office. You smiled to yourself as you made your way there. You noticed that the sun had set. In fact it looked like it had set at least two hours ago. You hoped Vincenzo was still in the office. He would have texted me if he decided to go home. Wouldn’t he? You thought to yourself. When you finally made it there and opened the door you were pleased to see him sitting at his desk.
“Oh, good.” He turned his attention to your voice. “Are you here to tease me as well?” Vincenzo asked. You only shook your head no at him. Walking around his desk to stand next to him. You rested one hand on the back of his chair and the other on his desk. Leaning forward slightly to see what he was looking at. “Huh, seems boring.” You turned to face Vincenzo. You jerked back as your face grew warm. You hadn’t realized that the two of you were close enough to bump your nose into his.  He didn’t jump the way you did. Instead he showed you a soft smile. You weren’t sure what to think of that reaction.
“So, do you think you’ll ever return to Italy?” You asked, changing the subject. “Eventually. When I’ve completed everything here.” Vincenzo said. He noticed how you were looking anywhere except at him. He stood up from his desk. “Why don’t we head home.” Vincenzo said as he stepped away from his desk. You knew he meant his apartment but you couldn’t stop yourself from saying “home is in Italy. With Luca” with a pout gracing your features. “Home can be here too. With me.” Vincenzo said, directing you to walk beside him. You barely heard the last part of what he said because he had said it so softly.
You walked quietly beside him as the two of you walked to his apartment. You did miss Italy, but it seemed like Vincenzo was beginning to settle in Korea. You glanced at him a few times. You did notice that he had become a bit softer. That wasn’t a bad thing, but considering what he does, if he becomes too soft it could cause problems. “I can feel you staring.” Vincenzo’s voice brought you back to reality. Not realizing that you were still staring at him, you hadn’t intended to do that. “Sorry.” You said. Vincenzo turned his attention to you only to notice that you were looking straight ahead.
“Oh, look. We’re here.” You said. Vincenzo smiled and shook his head at the way you were acting. He pulled the key out and opened the door. Allowing you to step inside first. “So, I was thinking we eat take out tonight. Have a few drinks. Just relax.” Vincenzo said. “That sounds perfect. It has been a long week.” You told him as you plopped down on the couch. “All right, I’ll order for us. And also grab the drinks.” Vincenzo said as he turned towards his kitchen area.
✨✨✨✨
A few hours had passed since the two of you came home. At this point you were a little drunk and currently snuggling up against Vincenzo on the couch. “No, don’t leave.” You whined when Vincenzo tried to get up. “Y/N, I’ll be right back.” Vincenzo tried to reassure you. He hadn’t drank as much as you did. “Fine. Don’t take too long.” You said with a pout. Vincenzo was finally able to stand after you unwrapped your arms from around him. He smiled down at you before walking off.
After about five minutes he had come back with two bottles of water. You shook your head at him when he attempted to hand one bottle to you. Instead you pulled him onto the couch with you. He laughed a little when he finally got comfortable with you snuggled up against him again. He had forgotten how clingy you become when you’re drunk. However he didn’t mind. You didn’t drink too often anyhow, unless it was with him or Luca. Poor Luca had experienced your clingy behavior once. Except when you clung to him you had said that he’s not Vincenzo but he’ll do. Luca of course didn’t take that personally because he understood your feelings for Vincenzo, even if you hadn’t admitted them to him yet.
After about twenty minutes had gone by he decided to glance at you. Noticing that you were beginning to doze off. “Come on, let’s get you to bed.” Vincenzo gently said to you. “I don’t wanna. I wanna stay with you. Right here.” You replied to him. “You’ll be in pain if the two of us pass out here.” Vincenzo tried to reason with you. You slowly raised yourself to a sitting a position to look at him. He lightly laughed at the way you were pouting at him. He found it to be quite adorable. You tried to stand up but stumbled and fell back on the couch again. “Hang on.” Vincenzo said as he leaned down to lift you. He made sure to hold you close to his body as he carried you to his bed. With the intention to let you sleep comfortably on the bed while he took the couch.
When he made it into the room and gently lay you down, you grabbed his wrist before he could walk away. “Stay with me, please.” You looked up to him as you spoke. Vincenzo only nodded and made his way to the other side of the bed. When he laid down beside you, you decided to curl into his side. He smiled to himself as you finally settled against him. After a few minutes he felt your breathing level out, showing the sign that you had fallen asleep.
Vincenzo was beginning to doze off himself until he heard you speak. He glanced down at you with a puzzled look. “You’ve no idea how much I’ve missed you.” You mumbled. He noticed that your were completely asleep. He had no idea that you sometimes talk in your sleep. In fact you didn’t even know. “How am I supposed to tell you that I love you more than a friend?” He raised a brow when he heard you say that. “Because I truly do love you.” You snuggled up closer to him when you said that. In turn Vincenzo held you tighter. He gently kissed the top of your head. “I love you too.” He whispered back, even though he knew you wouldn’t hear him. He decide that he would tell you what was said in your sleep in the morning.
✨✨✨✨
You groaned as you began to open your eyes. When you turned over you came nose to nose with Vincenzo. At the moment he was still fast asleep. You smiled to yourself as you moved a little to be able to look at him. He looked so peaceful as he slept. You wished that he had always felt that way. “I can feel you staring.” Vincenzo said in a groggy voice. “Sorry.” You whispered to him. Instead of replying to you he decided to pull you onto him as he rolled over on to his back. “Vincenzo, what are you doing?” You laughed as you settled on him. “Felt like having you close to me.” He glanced at your face as he spoke. “Did you know you talk in your sleep?” The way he looked at you in that moment made your face grow warm. “I do?” You questioned. He responded by nodding his head yes.
“Tell me, what do you feel towards me.” Vincenzo said. His voice was gentle. Your eyes grew wide realizing what you might have said. You sat up beside him quickly and hid your face in your hands. “I confessed didn’t I?” You uncovered your face and looked over to Vincenzo. He rolled over on his side. Leaning his head on his arm to look at you. “Based on that look, I’d say I did.” You said softly. “So, tell me while you’re awake.” He said. “Fine. I love you. More than just a friend. More than a close friend. Happy?” You said in a rushed tone. For a moment you thought that was a mistake because he silently stared at you. You watched him with suspicion as he moved to sit up, facing you.
Instead of saying anything, he gently pulled you onto his lap. Leaning in for a kiss. That wasn’t what you had expected, but you happily accepted it. The kiss was gentle but still firm enough to show that he had reciprocated your feelings. After a few moments you pulled away from him sighing happily. You looked into his eyes searching for any lie. All you saw was just how much love he held towards you.
“Why didn’t you say anything sooner?” He asked softly. “Vincenzo, with what we do for a living there was never a good time.” You admitted with a sad smile. “But here, even with the chaos you’ve gotten yourself into, I can tell you’ve become comfortable. You leaned forward, resting you chin against his shoulder. “That much may be true. However, it wasn’t like that until you arrived.” You sat up again to look Vincenzo in the eyes again. “You’re my person. You’ve always been my person. I just never knew how to tell you this.” Vincenzo admitted. He sat up more with a look of concern as he wiped tears from your cheeks. “Sorry, they’re happy tears.” You said and laughed a little. Vincenzo only nodded before pulling you in for a hug.
“Does this mean I get to wake up beside you every morning?” You asked him. “Of course it does.” He replied softly. “Guess we should tell Luca to send over more clothes for me.” Vincenzo laughed softly at your statement.

The night was young, just barely five o'clock when a message pinged on your phone.
'I'll be picking you up soon.'
As you glanced over the message, the doorbell rang.
'would that be you outside by any chance?' You sent back, making your way quietly to the front door and glancing out the peephole.
To your surprise, it was definitely not Han-Seok. Instead, you were greeted by the sight of an old friend. She stepped anxiously back and forth as she awaited your answer, in her hands, she gripped a briefcase that buckled under the stress of her fingers.
'no, who's there?'
The next text from Han-Seok flashed across your screen and you decided to ignore the message for a moment, you unlocked the front door and slid it open.
"Ha-Joon?" You questioned, fingers tapping the door frame rhythmically as you awaited a response.
She responded almost instantly, eyes wide with what seemed like urgency and… terror. "(Y/n)," she breathed a sigh before looking past you and into your home, you took the hint.
"Would you like to come in?" You asked, stepping aside to allow her room to enter. "I just bought a new wine, it's a Bordeaux. I hope you don't mind, it's my favorite. Sit down. I'll pour us a glass."
The woman looked around briefly before sliding by you into the foyer of your home, she looked around once more before finding a seat on the love seat by the left hallway. She took a moment to breathe before nodding slowly, "Wine would be nice."
You nodded, before stepping into the adjoined kitchen, it was separated by a small wall- but it gave you just enough privacy to check your phone.
'(y/n)?'
'is everything okay?'
'you're worrying me.'
He had sent a couple more messages upon your sudden absence. You glanced into the living room to make sure Ha-Joon was still where you left her before responding,
'everything's fine, unexpected visitor. that's all.'
You paused for a moment before sending a follow-up, 'you remember Ha-Joon right? she just showed up at my front door. seems pretty shaken up.'
The messages were sent and you made your way over to the wine cabinet, you bent down to grab a bottle. They still had the import labels on the cases, so you made sure to choose one that was newer- saving the oldest ones for more important occasions. The bottle was weighty- nothing you'd ever been able to afford before this. This being Han-Seok, he demanded nothing but the best for you, and for that, you were nothing short of grateful. He was an amazing boyfriend and an even better CEO, some would debate that last part but you didn’t really care.
You grabbed two wine glasses from the hanging rack above the cabinet and on the same trip grabbed the bottle opener, you were adorned in a white gown that had been dropped off a few hours previous for your date with Han-Seok tonight- it made handling the wine a much more dangerous task. The last thing you wanted to do was ruin your dress before he could ever see it on.
As you popped the cork from the bottle, you heard your phone buzz on the counter. You decided to ignore it for the moment being as you were too preoccupied with the task at hand. You filled both glasses with the musky red liquid before making your way back into the living area.
"Sorry about that, I didn't mean to take so long." you apologized, handing Ha-Joon the glass before taking a seat on the sofa directly adjacent to the love seat.
"Don't apologize, I'm the one intruding. You look lovely, are you going out with someone?" She asked timidly, taking a long swig of the alcohol. She was disheveled, hair was falling haphazardly from her ponytail and her clothes were wrinkled and had spots of stains near the cuffs of her blouse.
A smile graced your lips as you nodded, "Yeah, in about an hour I think; but don't worry about the intrusion- I'm more than happy to host a friend." You watched as she finished off the glass before pushing a little deeper. "Joon, why are you here? Are you in some kind of trouble?"
It was beyond obvious how things looked here, from an external view, she looked crazy. It was late on a Sunday and she just showed up unannounced after not seeing each other for more than three years. It felt suspicious.
"I'm.. in a lot of trouble right now. I remembered you had connections to Wusang and I needed to see you immediately. I need a lawyer, fast." She spoke in a hushed tone as if someone else was within earshot- whatever was bothering her seemed big.
You did have connections to Wusang, to probably some of the best lawyers in Korea. Usually, the law firm only handled civil rights and big corporation cases- what could a reporter need with that kind of protection? You cocked an eyebrow, moving a hand to smooth out the waves in your hair. "What's going on? What aren't you telling me?" You probed, taking a sip of wine- leaving a red lipstick stain on the glass.
"Can I trust you to not tell anyone what I'm about to tell you?" The woman was stern, eyes hardened. "This information is dangerous."
An instant nod was what she was met with, you even playfully held out your pinky. The danger wasn't something you were scared of. Not while you had a psychopath on speed dial with an army of the best guards in Korea. "Your information is safe with me, I swear."
The briefcase was slammed on the table as she opened it, making the vase of lilies jump at the force. You steadied the vase before focusing on the labels of all of the files that had been compiled- within each label there were corresponding bags filled with tapes and hard drives. As you glanced over the names- you saw something familiar, 'Jang Han-Seok childhood'
"What is all of this? And what does this have to do with Wusang?" You asked, thumbing through a file you'd just picked up.
"It's evidence." She whispered, a hand moving to lay over your own. "Against Babel group and the CEO.. Jang Han-Seok."
Your stomach dropped and as you flipped the file open- you realized just what you were looking at. Pages and pages of incriminating data, which seemed to come directly from babel as the pages sported the familiar logo. This was more than enough evidence to indict Han-Seok of tax fraud, union harassment, murder, and so so much more. The actions of the Babel group were the furthest thing from clean but that didn't make them all that bad, the company had its good and its bad. The same went for Han-Seok. He has his moments but he's not a bad guy.
"Who else has seen this?" You questioned, keeping your tone even as you tried to formulate a plan to dispose of her. Friendship meant nothing at this moment, the safety of Han-Seok and Babel's legacy is what mattered now.
Her hands ran through her dark strands before she answered, "Just me and you, so far. I want to take it to the law though, and with the power that monster holds- I'm scared of what might happen if I'm not protected."
Monster..
"Do you want some more wine? We can talk this over more and then get you in communication with an attorney as soon as possible." You offered, hand gliding across the table to collect the empty glass.
"Thank you, I'd really like that."
A forced smile fluttered across your lips as you stood to move into the kitchen. As you ducked behind the wall separating the room, you opened your phone to your messages with Han-Seok.
'I remember her very well.' was his reply.
'get here soon, dinner might have to wait.’ Your reply was simple, yet effective. As soon as the message was delivered, his reply was almost instant.
'I'll be there in thirty, babydoll.'
You closed out your phone and scanned the kitchen before you decided on the weapon of choice. A simple kitchen knife was the best option, albeit messy. A small sigh left your lips as you looked down at the beautiful dress that Han-Seok had picked out for you just this morning, it was white silk and as much as you hated to ruin it- you knew he wouldn't mind.
"Wine seems to be an issue at the moment, it seems these bottles hate me. Would you mind helping me out really quickly?" You called out, moving the knife to the island situated in the middle of the kitchen.
Footsteps could be heard, and each one solidified your plan. She was so close, if only she knew she was going to die- how different things would be right now.
She appeared around the corner and took notice of your phone on the counter near the wine bottle, "I struggle with these all the time, but I think I've mastered the art of manipulating the bottles." She let out a relaxed laugh, turning her back to you before beginning to fumble with the new bottle you had retrieved from the cabinet.
"So, personally, how do you feel about Jang Han-Seok?" You tested, hand gripping the handle of the knife through the sheath of cloth it was concealed in. Not to make it personal, but you were genuinely curious how someone like her saw him. To you, he was a gentleman. Polite, kind, romantic, paced, protective, and incredibly smart. He knew how to make the world work for him, not the other way around.
"I think what any sane person would think, he's insane. Corrupt, cruel, dangerous. If I was the law, I wouldn't let a man like that roam the streets free. I know you probably don't know, but he murdered some boys he went to school with, and he's actually diagnosed as a psychopath. He's not all there mentally. He needs to be locked in a psych ward or something." She ranted on and on, every word full of slander and hatred.
It made you sick. Hearing someone be so disrespectful. The more you thought about it- the more justified this killing felt. She's a risk, yes. More than that, she's a bitch.
"-I bet he's a pervert too,"
"Yeah, you think so?" You replied, hand clenching the base of the knife.
"Of course. Men like that are always creepy-"
You held back the contempt that flooded your veins, the last thing you needed to do was alert her to her newfound fate. The knife shook slightly within your grip, reminding you of the goal here.
Kill her.
"-and with Jang Han-Seok's history of violence, I can only imagine his track record with women isn't much better. Wouldn't that be something? Getting him on charges of rape or prostitution?" She sounded so proud of herself, even while saying something so vile- it was lighthearted, funny even.
KILL HER.
Your brain screamed at you with every crude remark but you knew you couldn't be too hasty. Hastiness leads to sloppy work and a chance of escape. You couldn't let her leave this house, not alive at least.
"So you must know of his internship at Wusang? Wouldn't that be a dangerous risk to take, what if he still has contacts there as well? Like, a rat?" The question was aimed at the reputability of Wusang, did she really know as much as she thought she did?
The girl paused, her entire body halting in response to the question. "Wait." She began, placing both hands on the counter. "I didn't tell you that."
In hindsight, it might have been a bit of a mistake on your part but so be it.
"Oops."
You kicked into action, hand moving to ravel in her hair. The other pressed the cold steel into her neck with just enough pressure to draw blood. Between the two, she stood no chance.
"Don't take this personally, but I will not let you ruin our lives." You grunted as she attempted to wriggle away, in turn, you dug the tip into just barely into her windpipe. "Stop fighting, die with some dignity."
"Why? P-please, you don't have to do this." Tears had begun to run down her face, it almost made you feel bad- she was so young, yet so stupid.
You drug her head back enough to make eye contact, "Where did you get all of this?" You pressed, fingers digging into her scalp. "And do you have copies?"
Ha-Joon's face crumpled, eyes filling with betrayal. "You're with him, aren't you?" She looked disgusted, with herself or you- you’d never know. "Whatever he promised you isn't worth it. He's fucking crazy, wake up (y/n)!" Pleading wouldn't save her now.
"I'm not just doing this for him, sweetheart. It's for our future. I'm protecting it from people like you. Now answer my goddamn questions." The knife had now created a line of blood from the struggling she'd been doing, it sent blood dripping down her neck.
Her voice shook, but her words couldn't be more clear. "Why should I? You're going to kill me either way, it doesn't do me any good."
Fair enough.
You smiled, letting a laugh slip. She couldn’t just cooperate, she had to push. Oh well, your conscious was already filthy. "Why? Well, if I remember correctly- you have a son at home. Sung-ho, isn't that his name?" The air became stale, the silence broken by nothing but ragged breaths. "It would be a shame if something happened to that cutie, wouldn't it?"
"You're a fucking monster, leave him out of this! He's just a kid. Just kill me, me- not him. He's innocent." She begged, struggling against your grip. "I'll tell you what you want to know, just promise me he won't be harmed."
You pretended to contemplate her bargain, It's exactly what you wanted but the fear factor was just too good to pass up. As fucked as it was, you were no better than Han-Seok. He found you when you were caught in a bad situation, he saved you. He then took you in and taught you everything he knew. Politics, business, betrayal, and coercement. "Deal."
"Thank god," She breathed, swallowing hard as she averted her gaze from your own. "I got all of the evidence from the chairman's laptop. I snuck in and stole it, all of it."
How the fuck? She must have had some kind of help, how else could she bypass his security? His office was guarded 24/7 due to the nature of sensitive materials it contained. Not to mention the encryptions on his personal laptop, all of that made her story either made-up or deeper than she tried to lead you to believe. A problem for later.
"And the copies? Do any exist? Digitally or physically." You made sure to specify, most people will try to find a loophole in just about anything. None of this evidence could survive tonight, they seemed to share that fate.
Ha-Joon hesitated before reluctantly nodding, "I have all of the data backed up on a hard drive, it's locked up in my office. I have the keys to the building, take them- they're in my back pocket."
You could just take them off her corpse, not a problem on your end.
"This has been fun but I really don't want to have to kill you, Joon." Your tone softened, "We've been friends for years and I care for you. I want to let you go."
Her breath quickened, "Really? You can let me go, (y/n). I won't tell anyone about this and I'll get rid of the hard drive myself. After that, I'll disappear. You'll never have to worry about me again." She was always good on her word, you could trust her on this.
"Okay, fine." You nodded, releasing your grip little by little. The knife lifted off her throat, edge coated in her blood.
She closed her eyes in relief, a sigh falling from her lips. "Thank you-"
Her head was jerked back and the knife serrated her neck before she had enough time to react. Gasps of shock and pain left her mouth as she clasped her hand over her throat, It was spraying blood in all directions as she began to crumble to the floor.
"I didn't really mean all that if you couldn't tell. You're a liability to me, you were never going to leave alive. From the beginning, ever since you opened your mouth about all of this, your fate had been sealed." You began, bending down with her as she fell onto the hardwood. "You have to understand, Joon. He's everything to me, you're just collateral damage."
Her body finally completely gave out and she stopped trying to get away. Her mouth opened and closed, over and over again before she let her hand fall from the gaping hole in her neck. It sprayed thick, hot blood all over you as she gargled on the blood now filling her lungs.
You glanced over towards the knife you had dropped after the initial cut, it couldn't hurt to just keep going- could it? Your fingers grasped the knife in your hand and a rush of adrenaline filled your veins, it felt too good to stop now.
Your body moved on instinct, bringing the knife down into her chest with a swift movement. A sickly crack rang out, signifying her chest plate had more than likely cracked at the force. It was music to your ears. You dislodged the knife before plunging it into her stomach, twisting it in a crude attempt to hurt her. As if her body could regulate pain at this point.
Over and over and over again. The knife sliced with deadly precision as you mutilated her corpse. Anyone could tell this was beyond excessive, but god it was so hard to stop. Her blood was so warm and her skin so delicate.
Before you knew it, she was unrecognizable.
You let the knife fall to the floor, landing with a dramatic 'thunk'. Your dress had been absolutely ruined in the chaos. Blood stains were splattered across it haphazardly, the silk taking on a rusty red color. Han-Seok wouldn't mind, you were sure of that. Your face was adorned in a spray of blood droplets, but you couldn't be bothered to mess with it.
The wine glass stood half-filled on the counter where she once stood. You took it into your hand and hopped up on the center island, letting your feet dangle. You simply watched as the lake of blood expanded, making a home on the white tile floor.
An art form you could appreciate.
The front door made a clicking noise as it unlocked, signaling to you that Han-Seok had made his arrival to the party. Perfect timing, as always.
"Babydoll?" He called out, footsteps closing in as he made his way from the hallway. He could tell something was up, the house was eerily quiet for this time of night. You usually had music playing, especially when getting ready to go out.
"In here, love." Your voice rang out from the kitchen, the nickname making his lips twitch into a smile momentarily. At least this was proof that you were okay, that was his main worry on his way here.
When he got your text, he had been at the office, setting up a few last-minute transactions before dinner. To say the least, he left the building in record time.
The kitchen light glared in on the dim living area, and as he got closer he could smell the metallic giveaway for blood. His brow knitted together as he entered the room, stopping mid-step to take in the mess that made up the kitchen floor. Blood was everywhere. On the counters, the floors, the cabinets, it even somehow sprayed the ceiling. His eyes then landed on the body or the mangled mess that used to one.
"This is your friend? Could've fooled me." He smirked, stripping off his suit jacket at the door before rolling up his sleeves. He stepped into the kitchen, shoes becoming caked with blood as he moved closer.
You shrugged, finishing off the glass of wine. "She came in as my friend and now she's going to be leaving in a duffle bag. Funny how things like this happen, huh?" Your words were lighthearted, unbothered by the act you'd committed tonight.
He chuckled, "Speaking of things happening, what led to this?" His tone was curious, he couldn't care less if this was just a casual murder. Han-Seok moved to stand between your legs at the island, hands on either side of your hips.
"She was going to ruin you. A huge briefcase of evidence that would take you and the Babel group down. She was a liability." You stated simply, looking up at him. He was much taller than you were and even on the island he still wasn't eye level. "I took care of her and I got the keys to get the backed up data in her office. We can destroy it all before anyone even knows it exists."
Han-Seok smiled, moving a hand to caress your cheek- smearing some of the blood that had yet to dry. "That's my girl," He hummed, hand trailing to the nape of your neck. His fingers intertwined in your hair before gently pulling your head back, forcing you to look up at him more. "You've made me so proud."
His lips crashed down onto yours with bruising force, fingers holding your hair tight in his fist. The blood on your face smudged onto him, leaving him with lips tinted a deep red when he pulled away.
Dinner was canceled.

“Yn! Wait!” Hanseok says jogging down the halls so he can catch up with Yn at her locker
“Yes? How’d you do on your chemistry test?” Yn asks
“I passed! Thanks to you!” He says smiling
“Ah no it was all you! After all your the one that took the test” Yn says grabbing her bag from her locker and closing it
“If you say so! I was thinking…as a way to say thank you…can I take you on a date” Hanseok says nervously. He’s never been this nervous
“A date?” Yn asks
“Yeah. I really like you Yn and I want to take you out” he says
“I’m sure your a nice guy and I know somewhere down the line somebody else will have feelings for you…but it’s not me. I’m sorry Hanseok. I’m proud of you though. Keep up the good work coming”
Those words ring in Hanseok’s head all the time. The words that fell from the mouth of the first girl he ever loved.
Hanseok was use to getting what he wanted. He always got what he wanted. That’s just how things were. He was use to it. He was use to getting whatever he wanted, so it came to a shock when you rejected him.
Who the hell did you think you were? He was THE!! Jang Hanseok for gods sake! You should be lucky he even considered talking to you.
So it always came to a shock when you walked into his brothers “office” with a smile on your face. What the hell were you doing there? Did you not remember him?
He watched as you placed a bag on his desk and kissed his cheek. After biding him a goodbye you left.
you were seeing his dumbass little brother? It irked him to the bone watching your freshly glossed plump lips kiss his brothers cheek.
That should be him!
How could you just walk out and never look over your shoulder at him? How could you just walk out as if you didn’t know who he was? Like you didn’t break his heart.
He was way better than his little brother in many different ways. What was wrong with you? Why didn’t you want him?
It bothered him so much when ever he witnessed the two of you together. It was sickening. How dare you kiss his brother in front of him?
“Who’s that women little brother?” Hanseok asks jaw clenching. Why even ask? Because he wanted conformation that his little brother was actually talking to the women he’d been thinking about for years.
“That’s yn” Hanseo says with a wide smile
“Mhm…and who is Yn? Too you?”
“She’s the women I’ve been seeing. She’s so awesome I think I love her already” he says with a love struck sigh
Hanseok rolls his eyes with a scoff
“Don’t let this women distract you from your job. Don’t let her get in the way” Hanseok says getting up from his seat to walk out.
On his way out, bumping into a confused seunghyuk
“What’s his problem?” He asks making Hanseo shrug
“Where did you meet this women?!” Hanseok asks in an angry tone. How in the hell did his brother get in contact with you?
“W-we met online” Hanseo says not making eye contact with the angry man
“Online?! Are you dumb? What the hell are you doing online dating?!” Hanseok asks
“I-I was lonely” Hanseo mumbles
“You were lonely? Really? For how long?!” Hanseok asks
“About two years now” Hanseo mumbles fidgeting with his fingers
“When you met her did you know she works for that scum vincenzo?!” Hanseok spits angrily
“N-No…I had no idea”
Of course he knew. You had told him. He’s even been by the firm to pick you up. But you were such an amazing women! How couldn’t he look past you working with the enemy just to get a chance to speak with you.
“You fool! She’s using you! Your a rich ceo with money! She’s trying to get to me! She’s his got damn assistant! She’s on his side every waking minute of the day!” Hanseok says tossing things off the desk making everyone in the room flinch
“Sh-she isn’t using me” Hanseo mumbles making Hanseok stop his throwing
“What did you just say?” He asks slowly putting the vase back down on the table
“Y-Yn cares about me. Sh-she loves me” Hanseo says
Hanseok had just learn that Yn was vincenzo personal assistant and he was livid. He was ready to flip the desk over. He was MAD.
Hanseok stalks over to the man standing in front of him before slapping him across the face.
“You dumbass. She doesn’t love or care about you! She’s on Vincenzo’s side! She’s out to get us! Your sleeping with the enemy! Get out! Now! Before I do something I won’t regret” he says turning around
Hanseo nodded, bowing before leaving the room still holding his cheek. Hanseok didn’t know what he was talking about. You two were in love. He was jealous that somebody other than Hanseo’s own mother, finally cared about him.
With a stingy cheek, Hanseo went to the only place he felt safe. You.
Once he reached your door he used the key you gave him to get in. He rushes in with his mind running a mile a minute.
“Yn! Yn!”
He shouts searching for you in your quiet home. He reaches your bed room to find you in your bed asleep.
“Yn! Baby! Wake up please!” He begs shaking you awake.
“Hanseo? What time is it?” You ask sitting up rubbing the sleep from your eyes. You turn around to turn on the bed side lamp
When the light comes on you gasp at the very prominent hand print on Hanseos face.
“What happened to your face?!” You ask
When he silently looked down at the floor you got your answer.
“He hit you again…didn’t he.” You say
You could see the tears well up in his eyes. You scoot closer to him wrapping your arms around him. Soon you can feel his body shake and hear the little sobs he tried to hide.
You pull away grabbing his shoulders
“I told you, stop letting him walk over you. He’s not better than you and your not less than him” you say
“B-but he’s my brother” Hanseo says making you sigh
“That doesn’t give him an excuse to manipulate and abuse you” you say
You reach out to wipe his tears. You give a soft smile when he leans into your touch
“H-he said your using me t-to get to him” Hanseo says making you scoff and roll your eyes. This wouldn’t be the first time his brother had some off the wall accusations against you. It didn’t really surprise you anymore
“Do you believe it?” You ask
“N-no of course not!! I-I know what we have is real. It’s just him trying to manipulate me again” Hanseo mumbles
You could tell something else was on his mind though.
“Something’s bothering you isn’t it” you question making the man nod
“Did you know my brother before you came here?” Hanseo asks. You sigh nodding.
“We went to school with each other in the states. He had this weird obsession with me.” you admit
“Obsession?” Hanseo asks
“Yeah. I was his tutor. He use to follow me around school. He’d buy me snacks from the lunch room. He’d leave things for me in my locker. He finally confessed and I thought I let him down easily and nicely. But he just never left me alone until one day. He just disappeared” you say shrugging
Hanseo sighs shaking his head.
His brother. Was obsessed with his girlfriend.
“I’m so so sorry Yn. I deeply apologize for my brother.” Hanseo says
“It’s okay. Don’t apologize for him” you say leaning over to kiss his cheek. He grabs your hand placing a kiss on it.
“Now get out of these clothes and come rest with me. I know you need it” You say patting his shoulder. He nods taking his clothes off, laying them on the chair in your room.
He gets into the bed wrapping his arms around you bringing you closer to his chest. He bask in your sent and warmth
This is what he looked forward to after a long day of dealing with his brother.
A week later Hanseo wanted to have lunch with you. You had offered to pick him up and after him trying to convince you that he pays someone to drive him around, he finally agreed.
You walked into the babel building waving and bowing too people as you walk to the elevator to get to his office.
Upon your arrival you just push the door open walking into what seemed to be a very heated discussion.
“Yn!” Hanseo says, his frown turning into a smile
“Hi baby how are you?” You ask closing the door
“Better now that your here” he says making Hanseok scoff, which you ignore
You walk further into the room rolling your eyes at the people in the room
“Yn”
“Ms.Choi”you say flatly before walking over to Hanseo’s desk
“Ready to go my love?” You ask
“Yeah!” He says getting up from his seat
“We’re not done with our conversation” Hanseok says looking at you bitterly
“Finish it later. He’s on lunch. Come on Hanseo”you say
The man looked at you then his brother. You could tell he was conflicted.
“Hanseo let’s go I’m hungry” you say
The man grabs his things in a hurry rushing out the door with you before his brother could say anything.
Hanseok growls as he watches you two leave
“A-aren’t you going to say anything? He needs to be here to know about the plans!” Seunghyuk
“Shut up”Hanseok mumbles
“So what’s your thoughts on traveling” you ask taking a sip from your cup
“I like to travel” Hanseo says nodding
“What about leaving Korea?” You ask
“Leaving? You mean living somewhere else?” He asks with wide eyes
“Yeah”
“Why?” He asks sitting up in his seat
You sigh with a small smile before taking out a small bag pushing it across the table. Hanseo looks down at the box then at you with a raised brow
“What’s this?” He asks
“Open it” you say shrugging
He takes it off the table with eyes still locked on it. For some reason he just knew something important was in this bag.
He opens it moving the gift paper aside. Confusingly he takes out an object
“A onesie?” He asks
“That’s not it! Read it” you say smiling
He flips it around reading it out loud
“Congratulations” he reads looking at you with a raised brow
“Yn what is this?” He asks
“There’s something else in the bag” you point out
He goes back into the bag pulling out another onesie to read.
“On becoming a dad”
He just stares at the onesies rereading the words together. Was this for real?He slowly turns his head to you
“Is this for real? Y-your pregnant?!” He whispers
“Yeah” you whisper back with a nervous look on your face
He covers his mouth trying to hold back his tears.
“Oh my gosh!” He says chuckling
“We’re having a baby!” He says making you giggle
“We are” you say matching his happiness. That’s when he remembered the velvet box in his jacket. He was actually planning to propose. He didn’t know when but now he felt like it was the perfect time
He gets up coming to your side of the table getting down on one knee. Taking your hand into his, caressing your hand with his thumb.
“Yn. I’ve been planning to do this for a while. I didn’t know when but right now just seems fitting. I know we’ve only been together for two years but this time I’m willing to be a dummy and ask you…will you marry me?” He asks
“Oh Hanseo” you say holding back tears of your own
“Please say yes?” He says with a nervous smile
“Of course! Yes I’ll marry you!” You say wrapping your arms around his neck
The people in the restaurant around you start cheering and clapping for you two.
Hanseo slides the ring on your finger before kissing your lips. He was the happiest man alive right now. Nobody could take this away from him.
He was going to have a family of his own.
=====================
A few months later, you sat at your desk at the firm sorting papers for Vincenzo. He walks in sighing at the sight of you
“What are you doing here Yn?” He asks going to his desk
“My job Mr.Cassano” you say rolling your eyes
“Don’t call me that. And your pregnant. The last thing you should be doing is your job” he says walking over to your desk taking the stack of papers from you
“Between you and Hanseo I don’t know who’s going to bore me more. I refuse to be pregnant and bored at home” you say taking the stack back
He sighs before sitting down
“Just take it easy. I don’t need Hanseo coming to me complaining about how I work you to much” vincenzo says
You were now 7 months pregnant and refused to stay in the house much to Hanseo’s dismay.
Chaeyoung walks in gasping running to your desk grabbing the papers from you.
“Yn?! Why are you here! You and my niece should be at home” she says making you groan
Chaeyoung quickly took a liking to your unborn babygirl. Every other day she was at your now shared apartment with stuff for the baby.
“Me and your niece were bored at home so we decided that we should come into work!” You say
“No you decided! Hanseo is going to get you” she says making you chuckle
Speaking of the devil. Your very angry fiancé walked into the firm stalking over to your desk
“Hi baby how are you?” You ask
“Don’t hi baby me! Your suppose to be at home! Why are you at work?” He asks
You make an “oh I’m caught face” before smiling up at him
“You look good I see why I’m pregnant” you say winking at him. He stiffens up trying to cover the blush on his face
“I-I Uh…you…thank you…but don’t change the subject!” He says making you groan
“I was bored okay! And I miss my friends” you say
“Yn they can always stop by the house. Come on I’m taking you home” he says making your groan
You grab your things bidding vincenzo and Chaeyoung a goodbye before leaving with Hanseo.
When you reach your apartment you sit down on the couch with a sigh.
“I know you like working and I know you love vincenzo and Chaeyoung but your pregnant and I need you to rest for the sake of the baby” Hanseo says sitting down next to you.
“I understand. I’m just tired of being locked up”you mumble
“I know honey. When you have the baby you can go straight to work and I’ll be a stay at home dad” Hanseo says smiling. You chuckle throwing your head back in laughter
“Yeah right! With your brother locked up who’s going to take care of babel?” You ask
“Who cares? I never wanted to have that company anyway. As long as I have my wife and daughter I’ll be fine” he says making you smile
“I love you so much Hanseo” you says running a hand through his hair
“And I love you so much more” he says making you smile more
Just as he said that, your daughter decided she wanted attention too because she started kicking at your stomach
Hanseo notices your face had an uncomfortable look. He leaned down placing kisses all over your big round tummy
“And daddy loves you too” he says smiling
Not once did he ever believe he’d be in this position. Yet here he was
__________________________________________
“I’ll be fine I promise!” You say grabbing your keys and purse leaving out the door
“Are you sure? Cause I’ll come home” Hanseo says
“Babe it’s just lunch. I’m with Chaeyoung I’ll be fine” you say
“Okay. It better be just lunch Yn! Don’t go back to the firm and start working I mean it!” He says sternly
“Hanseo your my husband…not my father. I am a grown women,I’ll be fine” you say
“If you say so. I love you” he says
“I love you too” you say before hanging up
Chaeyoung had promised you lunch one day and seeing as you were hungry and had and a empty fridge(and Chaeyoung was paying)you decided today and now was the perfect day.
After lunch with Chaeyoung, you walked her back into the firm so she could get something. Just as you two were walking to her car you noticed some guy behind you. You wanted to ignore it but the feeling you had wouldn’t let you.
Just as you were about to say something you noticed Chaeyoung get grabbed. She tried to screaming and fighting says the man. You tried to waddle over to help her but ended up getting grabbed yourself.
You tried fighting as much as you could but to no avail. As you and Chaeyoung get thrown into the back of a black van you panic.
Was this it? Would you be okay? What about your baby? What about Chaeyoung? Was she going to be okay?
As the panic sat in everything went black
“What do you mean you never picked her up?” Hanseo asks his driver. The same driver that dropped you off at the firm to meet Chaeyoung
“I’m sorry sir. She never called back and told me she was ready” he says making Hanseo worry.
He hangs up on his driver calling your phone Just for it to ring. Every ring was weighing heavy on his heart. Where you okay? Where were you?
He groans sitting down at his desk running a hand through his hair. Just as he was about to get up and look for you the door opened
“Mr.Kim I thought you went home?” He says as she collects his things
The door opens and to his surprise, in walks his brother. Who should be in jail.
“I came out quietly to surprise you little brother” Hanseok says with a smile
Something about that smile really disturbed him. He didn’t like it. Just by that smile he could tell something was wrong.
“What’s the point of hiring bodyguards. When I offered money they all took it and left” Hanseok says playing with the name plate on the desk
Hanseo stood there in fear. What was he to do?
“You incompetent traitor.”
“I didn’t betray you” Hanseo says sighing
“I was just trying to run the company properly” Hanseo says
“You fucking idiot. What did Yn ever see in you?” Hanseok asks with a scoff. With that being said he pulled a gun out from his jacket causing Hanseo to shake in fear
“I bought your gun. I couldn’t get one on such short notice” Hanseok says slowly walking around the desk to Hanseo
“Uh okay I see” Hanseo says swallowing the lump in his throat
“Now I can’t really keep you alive. I’m sure you’ll understand” Hanseok says slowing pointing the gun to Hanseo’s head
A tear dropped from Hanseo’s eyes. Memory’s of you and him. Of him and his mother flashed in his mind.
He started thinking of the life he was started to make with you and your baby. He couldn’t let it end like this. He wasnt going to
Just as he was about to reach for the gun Hanseo cocked his hand back and hit him with causing him to pass out.
Vincenzo’s heart dropped at the bloody package that was left outside his door. Two small bags. One with Chaeyoung’s earrings and Yn’s bracelet. Both In bloody bags.
He digs into the bags taking out both pieces of jewelry to make sure his mind wasn’t playing tricks on him.
His eyes go wide at the familiar pieces. He throat running dry. He stared down at the pieces in disbelief.
Chaeyoung and Yn were in danger.
=====================
Hanseo slowly started to stir awake getting Chaeyoung attention
“Hanseo!” She whispers gaining his attention
He confusedly started looking around his unrecognizable settings.
“Hanseo! Are you okay?” Chaeyoung asks
He slows crawls towards Chaeyoung still looking around his surroundings. There was no sign of Yn.
He stops his action when he heard footsteps. He looks over to his right seeing Hanseok slowly walking down a pair is spiral steps
He goes back to where he was as Chaeyoung growls at the man
“I didn’t know you’d abduct me but you did” she says making the man nod
“Your such a cheap villain” she says with a scoff
“What’s the difference? Villains are all the same”Hanseok says with a shrug
“No matter how hard I think about it, your not a human being” Chaeyoung says shaking her head
“Really? Yn thinks so” Hanseok says smirking causing Hanseo to look up
“Where is she?” Chaeyoung asks
Hanseok gets up going over to Chaeyoung pushing her hair behind her ear
“Don’t you know how much I loved you?” He asks making her frown
“Loved?”
“Yeah, that makes me human” he says plainly
“Abducting the women you love is not love, it’s a crime you crazy asshole! Now where’s Yn?!” She asks tears welling up in her eyes thinking of her bestfriends whereabouts
“Sorry Chaeyoung” Hanseok says chuckling. He grabs her roughly by the chin before speaking again
“But to me my principle comes before love”
“What a load of bull” Chaeyoung says rolling her eyes before coldly saying
“Hanseok…someone like you shouldn’t have been born at all”
The man roughly let’s go of her face sitting in his pervious seat on the couch
===========================
Yn woke up in a bed that wasn’t hers. She groans sitting up holding her big stomach. As she tries to get out the bed she noticed her ankle was tied to the bed frame.
She struggles to reach her arms over her big belly to untie herself. It took her a good minute before she finally got it untied.
Just as she gets out the bed the door opens revealing Hanseok
“Where am I?” Yn asks
“In one of the many apartments I own. It could be yours too” he says smirking
“I have my own apartment I don’t need yours” Yn says
Hanseok sighs before nodding his head. He walks over sitting on the bed bringing Yn with him
“Why Yn…what does my brother have that I don’t? He’s a dumbass mistake” Hanseok says harshly
“Hey! That’s my husband your talking about watch your mouth!” Yn says
“Oh my apologies…I forgot you two are married now” Hanseok says sighing
“That should have been me. You know you broke me right now? Rejecting me…you were the sky, the stars, the moon in my eyes” Hanseok says making you roll your eyes
“We were in 9th grade…I wasn’t even allowed to have a boyfriend” You say rolling your eyes once again
“So? I could have proven to your parents that I was good enough! You think Hanseo is the better choice? Be real yn. You only married him because he knocked you up” Hanseok says making you furious
You reached over and slapped him. Right across the face.
“I married him because I love him. What is your problem? Your so bitter and nasty it makes me Sick to my stomach. I will NEVER be with you Jang Hanseok you don’t even deserve to be with a women like me” you say turning your back to him
“I can change your mind Yn” he says grabbing your shoulder. You shrug it off with a scoff
“Allow me to make you a proposal you can’t refuse” Hanseok says
“I don’t want anything to do with you Hanseok” Yn says rolling her eyes
“Even of Hanseo’s line is on the line?” Hanseok asks causing Yn to side eye him
“What are you talking about?” Yn asks
“I was planning on killing Hanseo. But if you come with me I’ll spare his life” Hanseok says
“Your sick. You’ll kill your own brother?” Yn asks
“Death to all traitors, I’ll make an exception for you though” he says reaching out to touch Yn but she backs up
“I haven’t betrayed you” Yn says squinting at the man
“You betrayed me the minute you married my dumbass little brother” Hanseok says with a flared nose
“There has to be something wrong with you if you think I’d ever leave my husband for you” Yn says
“Not even to save your child? Be smart yn. Be with me and you and the child will be taken good care of” Hanseok says smirking
Before Yn could say anything he walks over to the door opening it
“Just think about it. You have until vincenzo gets here” he says with a sarcastic smile before slamming the door. Hanseok grumbles exiting the room. After a few moments to make sure he was gone you Exit the room holding your hurting stomach walking around the empty hallways.
You were clueless to the lay out of the home. You were worried about Chaeyoung. You hope she was doing okay
“I shouldn’t have been born at all? That was harsh wasn’t it Hanseo?” Hanseok asks making the man swallow deeply
“Where’s Yn?” He asks
“She’s safe. Her and…that baby” Hanseok says sitting back on the couch
“Kill me already” Chaeyoung says nonchalant
“Don’t be stupid and call Mr.cassano”
“I can’t do that. That’s the reason I abducted you” Hanseok says getting up from his seat going to the stairs confusing Hanseo and Chaeyoung
“I can hear you walking around. Come down here love” he shouts up the stairs
A few moments later Yn slowly walked down the stairs. Hanseo let out a breath of relief seeing that Yn was okay and not injured
“Yn!” Chaeyoung says
As she gets to the end of the stairs Hanseok grabs her hand. She tries and snatches her hand away just for him to grab it again
“Don’t make me hurt you Yn” he whispers
He grabs her hand once again walking over to the couch forcing her to sit down. He hands Yn her phone with a raised brow
“Did you make up your mind yet?” Hanseok asks
“I told you no, I mean that” Yn says
“Mhm. Call him. Call vincenzo” he says
“No” Yn says
“If you want you and that baby to live you’ll do as I say…call him. Now!” Hanseok says making Yn sigh
She picks up the phone quickly dialing Vincenzo’s number. He quickly answers
“Yn?! Are you okay?! Where’s Chaeyoung?” He asks
“We’re fine but-“ Yn gets cut off by Hanseok stanching the phone from her hands
“Vincenzo how are you? I just got out” Hanseok says smirking down at Yn
“I don’t care” says rolling his eyes
“Where’s Yn and Ms.hong?” He asks
Just as Hanseok turns his back Yn spots Hanseo across the room. As she tried to get up and go over to him Hanseok pushes her back down on the couch by her shoulder
“Hey! Asshole! She’s pregnant!” Chaeyoung says causing Hanseok to ignore her
“Come to where I am now. They’re alive. Please bare with me but I’ve heard from my fellow inmates that this tricks works the best when you need to lure someone who owes you something”
“If anything happens to them I’ll kill you” vincenzo says flatly
“Don’t worry I would never do anything to hurt my Yn” Hanseok says reaching a hand out to touch Yn’s face causing her to jerk away
Hanseo gripped at his pants in anger. He didn’t appreciate his brother touching his wife. Especially not in that way
“But if you don’t hurry…something will happen to ms.hong” Hanseok mentions before hanging up the phone
Once the call ended vincenzo upped the speed on the car.
“No matter what happens Yn you are to come with me understand” Hanseok says making the women scoff
“As if. I’m not going anywhere with you” Yn says
“Yn we’ve been over this. You’ll do as I say or Hanseo dies” Hanseok says making the man in question look up
“What do you want? T-the company? Yo-you can have it. Just let Yn go” Hanseo says making his older brother laugh
“Oh dear brother. This is no longer about the company.” Hanseok says with a dark smile that shook hanseo to his core.
Hanseok chuckles leaving the room. Once he was out of sigh Yn got up as quickly as she could to get over to hanseo
“Oh my gosh your face! Are you okay?!” Yn asks the man
He doesn’t say anything he just wraps his arms around her and kissed her as if it was his last. He pulled away grabbing at her hands
“Yn I love you so much. No matter what happens to me…you and the baby need to get to safety. Leave me if it comes down to it” Hanseo says making the women shake her head
Her Afro curls moving side to side. He smiled at her beauty. For some reason he just knew this was going to be the last time he’d see the love of his life
“No. No! I’m not leaving without you” Yn says
“Don’t be stupid Yn! You have to protect yourself and the baby. I’ll be fine I promise. Just take care for me okay?” He asks with a sad smile
“Wh-why are you talking to me like this is our last moments together?” Yn asks with tears welling in her eyes
“I love you okay?” Hanseo says with yet another sad smile
“I love you too” Yn whispers trying her best not to sob
Hanseok comes back into the room sitting on the couch. He looks over at Yn with a glare shaking his head
“If it wasn’t his finally moments id tell you to get back over here” Hanseok says getting comfortable
“See Chaeyoung? I’m allowing the lovebirds to have their final moments with each other. I’d say that makes me human” Hanseok says before chuckling
Just then vincenzo rushed into the room trying to get to Chaeyoung.
“Ah ah!” Hanseok says pointing the gun causing vincenzo to stop in his tracks. Vincenzo looks around the room checking for Injuries on the women. Not finding any at all, kind of shocked him. Hanseok could tell
“The bloody jewelry was shocking wasn’t it? It was pigs blood. I used your method” Hanseok says with the most wicked look on his face
“Your worse than I thought” vincenzo says
Yn’s grub around Hanseo’s arm got tighter. He wrapped one of his arms around her waist while the other one held her stomach softly rubbing small circles around it.
“You abducted your brother and his pregnant wife. A women too?” Vincenzo asks. He didn’t expect an answer. He already knew.
“A rat who’s about to be devoured by a cat has no rules” Hanseok says shrugging
“Do you think you’ll live if you kill anyone here?” Vincenzo asks with a raised brow
“Right! The mafia always has backup” Hanseok says
“Think carefully. Whatever you do, you’ll die” vincenzo says
Yn sighs as she starts to feel another pain in her stomach.
“What’s wrong” Hanseo asks
“I-I don’t know. My stomach hurts” Yn says causing the man to worry. To worry for his wife and his child.
He quickly sits up laying Yn down in his lap. Rubbing her big ole tummy, it would have brought a smile to his face if they weren’t in this predicament.
“How’s that feel?” He asks
“Better” Yn says. She was tired and giving the situation, to much was going on
“Even if I do, I want to see you die first” Hanseok says to vincenzo
The pain Yn was feeling started to get unbearable and her eyes slowly started to close worrying Hanseo
“Baby? Baby no! I need you to stay with me okay?” Hanseo says lightly shaking her
“I-I-I can’t. So-something’s wrong” Yn says with a groan
Hanseo looks over at the heat conversation then back at the door to the side of him.
“Come on. I’m getting you out of here” Hanseo says helping Yn to her feet. Just as she stands to her feet she felt something run down her leg. She looks down with groan
“M-my water just broke.” She whispers
“Fuck! Come on” Hanseo says
“This is literally the Worst time for you to come baby girl” Yn whispers as she and Hanseo walk to the sliding door as fast as they can.
Just then Hanseok gets up throwing something across the room causing everybody to stop in there tracks
“Come back little brother. Pick up the stick and hit vincenzo with it” Hanseok says making the room quiet except for Yn’s quiet pants
“Now!” He shouts making everyone jump
“P-please. Her water just broke. She’s needs a hospital” Hanseo says grabbing the door handle
“She can get to the hospital later. You need to do as I say. Put her on the couch and pick up the stick” Hanseok says
“I-I can’t. I won’t she needs to be taken care of first” Hanseo says
Hanseok rolls his eyes with groan before pointing the gun at Yn.
“Do as I say or she won’t make it to the hospital” Hanseok says coldly. Hanseo sighs helping Yn over to the couch
“Just breathe for me okay. You’ll be fine. I promise” Hanseo says with a weak smile
“Now! Hanseo I don’t have all day” Hanseok says with an attitude
Things were about to get crazy.

hi hi hi!!!
depending on whether you read my notes at the end of my 'fic —
i may have a surprise for you!
i mentioned in said notes that i was planning a crossover – a jere&share x vincenzo (the korean tv show),
and i've just uploaded the first chapter!
those of you who've seen the show already know this, but:
vincenzo is about an italian consigliere (legal advisor to the mafia) who teams up with a lawyer seeking vengeance on a corrupt business organization —
i'm putting jere & share as the main characters, and the dynamic is going to be dark and sexy and slow-burny,
and i'd be really happy if you could check it out and let me know what you think!!
thanks! 😄

“How’s she doing?” Vincenzo asked over the phone. As much as he was trying to hide his concern for his biological mother, his tone gave away his increasing worry about her.
“She’s fine at the moment,” you said looking at the woman sitting in her wheelchair getting some fresh air. “She seems much more cheery since we took those pictures the other day.”
You turned away just barely missing the way the photograph you were talking about fell from her hands and another person - a man - approached and picked it up before striking up a small conversation with her. “She knows it’s you, you know. Why don’t you just tell her that you haven’t stopped looking over her from afar? Call her ‘Mom?’ It’d mean the world to her, you know,” you turned back hearing her laugh and noticed the man sitting on the bench next to her chatting away. Vincenzo said something that you didn’t quite catch. “Sorry, what was that?”
“I asked if you could stay with her tonight,” he repeated, voice trailing off. You could practically envision his brows furrowing. “Is everything alright?”
“Yeah…just distracted. I’ll call you back later,” you hurried not waiting for a response before marching over to Gyeongja and the unknown man. “Can I help you with something?”
The man turned to look at you, eyes widening slightly before they went back to their normal size as he rose to his feet, a smile forming on his face. “Jang Hanseok,” he said, extending his hand to you before retracting it when you didn’t take it. “The photograph fell and I simply picked it up and could help but notice how handsome her son was. You must be happy to have such a handsome boyfriend.”
“Oh she is,” Gyeongja giggled softly. “They make a good couple.”
His attention shifted from you back to her briefly before turning back to you, a strange look in his eye. It was then that you fully took him in. His skin was slightly tanned, crows feet appearing at the corners of his eyes whenever he smiled, hair perfectly styled to compliment his casual outfit, a monotone look consisting of a blazer, t-shirt, and slacks, finished with a pair of canvas sneakers, all in off-white. There was an uneasy air about him that made you nervous just being in his presence. Shivers went down your spine as the hair on the back of your neck stood up. You didn’t have a spidey sense but if you did, it would most definitely be going off like crazy right now.
The look in Hanseok’s eyes changed drastically as you continued staring at him, almost as if sensing your discomfort.  You stepped closer to Gyeongja gripping the handles of the wheelchair tightly, your knuckles turning white. He smiled again, raising his brows momentarily before clearly his throat.
“Well, ladies, I have a very important appointment to get to so I’ll see you both around. I hope you get better soon,” he turned to you and stared for a moment before leaving, not looking back.
You watched him carefully before hearing a sigh and looking at the older woman as her fingers grazed over the photograph as she gazed in the direction he'd walked in.
“The poor thing. He doesn’t have a single picture with his parents. And his father never cared for him…”
Under most circumstances you would feel some form of sympathy for any one person after a comment like that, but for some reason it only sets alarms off in your head.
“It’s getting a bit cold, we should go back inside so you don’t get sick,” you said, beginning to push the wheelchair.
Your phone buzzed as you entered the hospital. Once inside an elevator you pulled it out seeing a message from Vincenzo.
I’m going to tell her tonight. I’m not missing this chance. I’ll be there later.
You smiled, sending a quick reply before shoving your phone back in your pocket as the elevator stopped and the doors opened and you headed to her room, getting her situated back in the bed and chatted with her for a while before she drifted off, you following soon after.
~~~
Mumbling from outside the door woke you from your light slumber. Carefully rising from your place in the chair you went to the door jumping back as it was opened and a man dressed in scrub entered, the guard posted outside the room being tossed inside like he weighed nothing, blood pooling on the floor underneath his head. You turned to rush to the bed to press the call button, an arm wrapping around your neck preventing you from doing so. The grip tightened as you scratched and pulled at the man’s arms, mouth opening and closing as you tried to make a sound, only for nothing to come out.
“Just pass out you bitch,” he uttered as he tightened his hold on your. You began getting light headed and fought even hard against his grip to try and break free to no avail. You began going limp in his arms as a sharp stinging sensation spread in your neck. He’d injected you with a sedative that only quickened the effects of the lack of oxygen. You finally passed out.
Quietly, he sat you next to the door, slumped against the wall and made his way over the bed, pulling on a pair of latex gloves as he stared at the old, sick, defenseless woman. She turned around slowly as she awoke, the photograph clutched to her chest.
“What’s going on?” she asked as she looked behind him seeing the bloodied floor and the seemingly dead man. Her eyes shifted to your body slumped over, not moving either but no blood.
The man rushed at her wrapping his gloved hands around her neck beginning to choke her. Her own shot up attempting to push them away with the little strength she could muster as the beeping of the heart monitor sped up. The machine flatlined as she lost consciousness after a number of minutes, arms falling away from him. Letting go, he stepped back, walking over to your body and picking you up, taking you out of the room and laying you down on the gurney he’d been using to get around without suspicion. Placing you on it, he covered you with a sheet - not noticing the shoe that had fallen off in the room. Closing the door, he began pushing the gurney away from the room nurses only giving him a spare glace.
Taking an elevator to the first floor, he pushed it out walking right past Vincenzo who didn’t spare him a second glance as he got in the elevator, a brown paper bag in hand, ready to call Gyeongja ‘Mom’ for the first time in a long, long time. To see your face as you smiled at him when he did so. Ready to be on the receiving end of a strong embrace from the two of you - the two people who truly made him feel like he had a chance at being a normal civilian.
Unbeknownst to him at that moment, none of those things would happen. Instead he’d be met with his good friend Death once more, ruining all of those plans. Police rushed past him as he neared his mother’s room. A crowd was formed outside looking in. His eyes drifted to the linoleum floor seeing the blood splatters outside. His heart rate sped up as he kept walking, pushing away a doctor to look inside, fear growing in his chest. He stood in the doorway seeing his mother’s - his mom’s - covered body laying lifeless, arm handing over the edge of the bed. You were nowhere to be seen, a stray shoe laying discarded on the floor.
The paper bag crashed to the floor just as his entire world began crashing down around him. Tears welled in his eyes as he neared the bed falling to his knees, spotting the crumpled photograph directly underneath her hand on the floor. The tears spilled from Vincenzo’s eyes as he held her wrist softly, everything hitting him and being processed through his mind. In that moment he swore he would find whoever was responsible for her death. He would find you and fight to keep you safe. He wouldn’t - couldn’t - allow you to suffer the same fate because of him.
~~~
Hanseok tore the pictures in half as he smirked after having met Myunghee’s gaze as she hung up the phone. He looked over at you sitting on the floor, your hands bound and mouth gagged, with an equally sinister grin as he tossed the pictures in your direction. They were images of Gyeongja and you in her hospital room. Neither of you were aware you were being watched. Hanseok rose to his feet, sneering in your face as he did so, before grabbing Myunghee by the hand and beginning to waltz around the room with her as they both let out manic laughs.
Tears welled in and spilled from your eyes as you realized what must’ve happened. Gyeongja must be dead. They’d killed her. They’d order for her to be murdered. And they let you live as live bait for the one person they were truly after.
Vincenzo.
Hanseok stopped dancing, laughter still falling from his lips as he looked over at you making his way to you. With brute force, he forced you to your feet, holding you up with one hand, fingers pressing painfully against your jaw and cheeks.
“You have got a temper,” he scolded. “I don’t like being ignored. But seeing as though you clearly mean something to that consigliere, I may just be able to get more than enough use out of you before throwing you away.”
Fear coursed through your veins as you looked at the eerily cheerful man. No remorse or even regret was evident, which scared you even more. This man wasn’t normal, that much was evident. And right now you really wished he was. That he would be capable of having some guilt. But you knew he wouldn’t.
“Call Hanseo and Seunghyuk,” he ordered. “We’re celebrating a victory tonight.”
~~~
“All right,” Hanseok sighed, holding a glass of liquor in his hand. “Tonight, we’re going to drink ourselves stupid.”
“Sir,” Hanseo began glazing over at you sitting on the floor beside him. “Why are you in such a good mood?”
“Because I just killed Vincenzo’s mom. And I happen to have his other most prized possession at my beck and call,” he spared you glance, hand pulling your hair roughly knocking you over. Hanseo and Seunghyuk were clearly shocked by his words. “Can you imagine? Finally reunited after 30 years, then BAM!”
“What?”
“I mean, poor guy. It must be killing him. Mother dead. Girlfriend missing,” he laughed.
Hanseo looked at you in shock, heart pounding his chest. He could allow anything to happen to you lest his own plan be ruined. Seunghyuk looked at you momentarily before looking at Myunghee, “Were you aware of this?”
“What’s wrong?” Hanseok asked. “You disappointed in me?”
“Oh, what? No, sir,” Seunghyuk stuttered, laughing hesitantly as he looked at you struggling to sit back up. “I’m worried about the consequences. That’s all. I mean, the poor girl. Can’t you treat her a bit more, humanely?”
“He’s right,” Hanseo agreed. “Why would you go and poke the bear, sir? And to treat her like this?”
Hanseok bit the inside of his cheek, staring at the two men, before looking down at you and scoffing.
“Of course you two are in agreement…since you’re such good buddies,” Myunghee commented.
“Excuse me?” Seunghyuk questioned meekly. “Just what are you saying? Hey, Ms. Choi-”
Hanseo stood up, “How dare you speak to me like that?”
“Please, I’m just stating a very simple fact.”
Hanseo huffed looking at Hanseok who couldn’t look any more disinterested in the conversation watching you struggle as he played with his glass, “Come on, sir! She’s exaggerating. He saw I was struggling with some business stuff, and he was helping me out.”
Hanseok’s gaze flitted to him almost as if daring him to keep lying to him.
“I’m afraid that doesn’t explain all your secret meetings,” Myunghee added leaning forward, her foot jutting out and kicking you. “Not to mention the meetings you’ve had with this one.”
Seunghyuk and Hanseo began arguing with Myunghee - who kept her cool - attempting to climb out of the hole they’d unknowingly put themselves in. Whilst Hanseok continued playing with the glass as he foot began tapping against your head rather harshly. You couldn’t decide whether you wanted Vincenzo to come and get you out of this situation or pray he kept his mind straight and focused on taking Babel down. But knowing him as well as you did, you already knew he’d rather get shot time and time again before allowing any of these people to get away with his mother’s murder and your kidnapping.
The three continued arguing as Hanseok forced you up and gripped your face tightly, not looking at you as he watched them go back and forth.
“You’ll all end up just like this too,” he whispered, a smirk on his face. “Just watch.”
You jumped back as a bloodied man came running through an entrance stopping the begging from Seungyuk to Hanseok to believe him as Myunghee screamed from shock. For the first time in a while Hanseok looked slightly shocked as he spotted the man, the same man who had been in the hospital room. The man you could only assume murdered Gyeongja.
He was muttering something incomprehensible to your ears before a gunshot echoed through the air, a bullet being fired into his torso. Followed by another through the back of his head. Your heartbeat sped up as you shuffled backwards attempting to distance yourself, Hanseok holding you in place. Everyone was shaking and whimpering in fear as the man’s body fell revealing Vincenzo standing there gun aimed and ready to fire another shot.
From where you were you could see the blood on his hands and face, his bruised and bloodied knuckles and cold expression reminding you just exactly who it was you were with. He never hid it from you but you’d never seen him like this - this cold. He’d never allowed you to see this side of him. Not even when you left Italy after Paulo attempted to have you both killed in his apartment.
There wasn’t a single emotion in his eyes as he stared blankly at Hanseok, gun aimed at him. He didn’t glance at you as he walked forward calmly, eyes trained on the man holding you firmly beside him. Fear settled in your stomach as you stared at the barrel that was pointed in your direction by sheer chance. He moved his arm and pointed the gun at Myunghee who cowardly fell down then to Seunghyk and Hanseo who hid behind the couch, before going back to Hanseok who continued to stare him down. His eyes flitted to yours for a split second twitching his head slightly, before going back to Hanseok’s. He began firing the gun in different directions forcing everyone to take some sort of cover - even you. Glass and porcelain shattered upon contact from the bullets. With Hanseok covering his head, you took your chance to move away from him as best as you could, struggling as you did so.
With you out of the way, Vincenzo aimed the gun once more at Hanseok as he made his way closer, giving you a chance to crawl behind him. He lowered the gun helping you stand and giving you a brief once over before turning back to the man he was there to give a message to.
“Murdering my mother…kidnapping my woman…those were unforgivable and absolutely foolish actions,” he said monotonously. “I knew that you killed countless people and even tried to kill me. Do you know why I haven’t killed you?” he paused looking at the gun. “It's a hassle.”
Hanseok looked up and Vincezo took a few steps forward, your feet staying glued to the floor where you had been standing behind him.
“I had a job to do. So putting a bullet in you, wasn’t worth wasting my time over. I’m not sure your measly sidekicks would inconvenience me much.”
He took a seat on the couch.
“But now…you all have to die.”
There was an exclamation of ‘don’t kill me’ and whimpers as he paused, staring directly in front of him before he continued speaking.
“Don’t worry. It won’t be tonight. I live by this principle: ‘What a blessing it is to have a painless death.’ I’m going to give you two things you’ve earned. First, the humiliation of a lifetime, and second…a slow and agonizing end to your life,” Vincenzo turned his head to Hanseok. “I swear.”
He looked away, “You can take care of that garbage. And don’t even try pinning his death on me or it will be all over the news…who hired my mother’s killer.”
Vincenzo rose back to his feet, beginning to walk back in your direction before stopping as he made a noise as if he’d remembered something, going back to Hanseok who crawled backwards as Vincenzo lifted the gun and took aim, cocking the gun, “Here’s a preview for all of you.”
He moved the gun a few centimeters before firing it, taking off a chunk of Hanseok’s ear, his scream filling the air. Vincenzo turned back around walking briskly in your direction and grabbing your arm, pulling you with him as he left as though he were leaving a very rough legal meeting.
~~~
Vincenzo was bent over his mother’s body crying as you stood beside him, unsure of what to say or do. The man who had always been so strong and fearless, void of much emotion was breaking down before your very eyes.
“Ma,” he cried over and over again as he sobbed. “Ma.”
~~~ “You should get some rest,” you offered as you stood beside him near the memorial front of the funeral home. “You’ve had a rough time.”
He looked over at you, the bells chiming and drum beating at the monks chanted something consistently, but didn’t say a word before looking away. Everyone from the plaza was there with him offering some semblance of support but clearly mourning and feeling the pain Vincenzo was feeling himself.
~~~
Vincenzo sobbed into the scarf his mother had asked to be given to him. The words she’d written in her letter pieced his hardened heart over and over again as he read them. He sobbed as he leaned forward on the small table. You walked over from the kitchen and sat beside him wrapping your arms around him tightly, allowing him to cry into you.
“We’ll make them pay,” you whispered tears welling in your own eyes as he arms pulled you tightly against him. “We’ll make them pay for what they’ve done.”

Whispers - Jang Hanseo x Reader
Oneshot, 1k, SFW + gender neutral
Tumblr media
A/N: my first time doing a fic on tumblr 😔🤚🏻
His wound was healing faster than the doctors had expected, and Jang Hanseo found out playing dead wasn’t as fun as it seemed in the movies.
He had to deal with watching from afar as Babel Group descended into chaos, without a Chairman or Vice; all his subordinates were at each other’s throats for the seat.
Then he remembered his wish, that he could run the company on his own without the scar of needless death. That he would not run Babel the way his older half brother did.
Through this mental storm, a clearing came in the clouds as Hanseo found the perfect candidate for the next Babel CEO.
“ Me?” You nearly exclaimed, but kept it low for your ex-boss’s sake. You were one of the few who knew that Hanseo was alive, and was not hoping to keep it that way. You wanted him to reveal himself and return to his position of power- but he said he didn’t want anything to do with it anymore. Not after everything that happened to him.
You knew better than to pry into someone’s personal business- especially if they used to be your boss- but something was different about Jang Hanseo.
How he walked like he was always being watched, the way his hands tremble when someone touches him the slightest and how his eyes shine in the smallest of praises.
“ Er- yes, you.” He confirmed, still sitting upright in his hospital bed, his hair a bit messy from tossing and turning in his sleep.
You found out he was alive by accident.
You were visiting your friend who worked in the same hospital to gift them something in advance for their birthday. As you walked past the patient rooms, you spotted the notorious Hong Chayoung you saw in the news. Intrigued, you tailed her until she entered a private luxury room that had no other than Jang Hanseo lying inside.
He screamed as you did as well. Noticing how much of a panic he fell into, you took pity and sympathized with him. Although he was now nothing like the man you had once worked under.
You didn’t know how to reply, and wasn’t sure what was appropriate to ask or say. Sucking in a deep breath, you smiled warmly and gave a curt bow. “ Thank you, Mr. Jang.”
He broke out into a gummy smile, a hand waving away the honorifics. “ It’s Hanseo, I’m not your boss anymore.”
From then on, fabricating a not-so-fake will, you took on Babel Group and started a new era as you reigned profits back in. It was harder than it looked, as you spent restless nights up without a wink of sleep.
Although through all this chaos, you still found time to visit Hanseo time to time, updating him on the company and buying him snacks.
You noticed even if you did the tiniest things- like the first time you brought in a bungeoppang you had purchased from a street vendor outside- his mood would instantly light up, his smile rivaling the brightness of the sun. He acted like you had just eradicated all his debt or something, and as confused as you were, you found it endearing. You had no idea your ex-boss was so, so cute.
Childlike wonder filled his eyes whenever he talked about his Vinny hyung or Chayoung noona, speaking just like how a little boy would ramble on about Superman.
Before you knew it, your heart was racing every time you approached his hospital room; knocking on the door was nerve wracking as you tried to keep your emotions under wraps.
That was, until, he pulled this.
You weren’t able to buy a snack this time around, as your schedule was too tight to even go slightly out of line.
Hanseo could tell you were tired, recalling his old memories as the puppet Chairman. The way you ran your hand through your hair, biting the inside of your cheek as you constantly took in deep sighs.
Months had flown and Hanseo felt so attached to you he decided he would tell the truth about everything. What happened on the night he “died”, how he was so close to that Consigliere and what his past with the late Hanseok was.
His body shivered as he spoke candidly, as if he was reliving the past in this very moment. Suddenly, arms wrapped around his waist, bringing him into a hug. You patted his back softly in a soothing rhythm.
“ You are so strong, Hanseo.” Was the first thing you had whispered to him through his subsiding tears.
Soon those sobs turned to silent cries and those cries faded into hiccups that transformed into an angelic laugh. A weight was released from his shoulders as he absorbed every comforting praise you threw his way.
Later, you had to let go of him, straightening out his blanket until his fingers weaved into a hold to yours.
“ Could- could you, stay? Longer?” He piped up, only to fall into the abyss of another panic. “ A little while! You don’t have to, I mean. I know you’re really busy with the company- which I kind of forced on you to be honest- and I’m so sorry for- mMH!”
Your lips were instinctively drawn to his, as if it lured you in.
Eyes widening in shock, blood rushed to his face as it colored his adorable face red. He melted into the kiss. Placing a hand on your face, he silently begged you to deepen the kiss as his heart pounded loudly in his chest. His heartbeat being the rhythm to the melody your lips had made, hands threading through hair and tunes spiraling out of mouths.
Seconds passed and you both parted for air, panting in the now tense atmosphere. You easily broke the said awkwardness as you whispered:
“ Don’t ever apologize, my prince.”
BONUS:
“ And- and then I got kiSSED!” Hanseo exclaimed to Vincenzo, who smiled warmly at his excited tone and gestures.
“ I’m proud of you, Hanseo.” He said, patting his shoulder as the younger grinned. “ Hopefully I’ll meet this lover of yours soon.” Vincenzo remarked, fiddling with the curtains of the hospital room. Hanseo’s gaze found itself focusing on the engagement ring that his hyung wore. His overactive imagination then wondered how it would be like to propose to you, to place a ring on your finger, to marry you, to-
Snapping out of his trance, he quickly replied. “ Me too, Vinny Hyung.” Not shying away from the lovesick look that had taken over his face, he stared down into his fidgeting hands. “ Prince...” He then mumbled under his breath, not wanting to say it loud enough for anyone else to hear.
This would be his own memory to keep- even from his dear hyung- that you had whispered into his ear, calling him your prince.

We have to "talk"
Tumblr media
Requested by anonymous: Hi this is my first time ever requesting something, so I’m sorry if it’s a little awkward! Can I request Vincenzo x Reader? The reader was Vincenzo’s families hacker and then left because of personal issues and moved to Korea, but then they bump into Vincenzo and it’s a super cute reunion? I know you mainly write for Hanseok so if you don’t write for Vincenzo himself please ignore this :-)
Pairing: Vincenzo Cassano x reader
Word Count: 1.8k words
Warnings: small plot changes, fighting, blood
A/N Italics is Italian, normal is Korean
It was difficult to say goodbye to the people before you, all of them were practically your second family. They had partly raised you as their own, teaching you their ways as you grew while learning the craft of hacking. It was a slow process, but thanks to the years of practice you could proudly say that you were excellent in doing what needed to be done. Yet your family, your birth family, needed you. Your father had passed and your mother was unable to provide for herself due to an accident, so you had to go whether you wanted to or not.
"May you travel safe and if you ever need us, we're a call away." Fabio spoke, his voice was quick to soothe your worries as you nodded at the man that you called father. With a final smile to him, you turned around and walked to the car. Your hand paused on the door handle, so many thoughts were racing through your mind. The most frequent one was, where was Vincenzo? You and him had grown up together, bonding over the fact that you were similar in age and that both of you spoke Korean. So him not being here hurt you slightly and made you heart ache.
Wiping the thoughts from your mind, you pulled open the door and climbed in. Finding it too hot inside, you quickly lowered the window as the car started driving. The car sped up, passing by the gate and there Vincenzo stood. Lighter in one hand and a briefcase in the other, probably holding some important documents that he needed for blackmail or some shady deal. His eyes connected to yours, a look of confusion flashing on his face and disappearing just as quickly. He only bowed his head at you before both of you continued on your way.
For your own sake, you needed to forget about Vincenzo and your love for him.
Tumblr media
"No, no, no. He's really good looking, definitely my type!" Miri was talking happily, although many wouldn't see it with her stoic expression, and you could only chuckle at the girl's antics. Although you should be rivals thanks to your hacker persona's, the two of you hit it off fairly easily due to your skills. You both learned from each other and soon learned that business and personal life were completely different. That was, of course, before she took a break from hacking. Now, it was only you that continued with such work while she somewhat protected her own. You found her story quite hilarious when you first heard it, the fact that she lived on top of gold was not something anyone could so casually say and yet she did.
"Then you should ask him out." You sipped your drink with another teasing smile, one that Miri could only roll her eyes at as she took a sip of her own coffee.
"Vincenzo Cassano is out of my league, I dare not to." Although her tone of speaking was meant to be joking, you couldn't laugh. Not with the name she just spoke, all be it a bit mispronounced. His voice awoke something in your mind, almost like a wave crashing over you and returning all memories that you so desperately tried to bury in your mind.
"Vincenzo?" You asked, just to be sure of what she said. When Miri nodded at you, you quickly rose to your feet and took ahold of her hand.
"He lives in your complex, right?" You asked and Miri uttered a yes, confusion written all over her face as you rushed off with your jacket and bag. You ignored the people in your way, dodging them as you ran through the streets to where Miri lived. You knew it well enough, you had visited her a few times before and the residents were always incredibly nice whenever you did visit. When you ran into Geumga Plaza, you were greeted with a particular sight. A man, hanging out of the window. He seemed in despair, but that was not what caught your attention. Rather, the man that held him was much more interesting. The man you once loved, maybe even still loved, was leaning on the windowsill with a smirk as he held up the other man.
Vincenzo Cassano.
He was teasing the man that he held, stretching one finger after another to scare his hostage. After some shouting, however, he pulled up the man. You stared at Vincenzo from down below, only moving again when you heard cursing from the people behind you. Then you raced upstairs.
Vincenzo was surrounded by the residents, praises falling from their lips. You didn't care much for that, instead you made your way closer until you stood close enough to hear them.
"Miss (Y/n)! Nice to see you again!" Toto was the first to spot and greet you, his usual smile on his face and you wanted to smile back. You really did, but it was impossible to do so as Vincenzo turned around to face you. It took him a few seconds, but when he realized his eyes widened slightly in shock. You took it as a hint, rushing forward and embracing him. Once he was in your arms, you didn't want to let him go anymore. Yet you had to, you wanted to see his face and ask him why he was here. When you pulled back, he was quick to guide you away from the group and to his apartment.
Once you two had entered, Vincenzo was quick to hug you again. You buried your face in his chest, tightly hugging the man as you tried to keep your emotions in check.
"I didn't think we'd meet again." His voice was soft, muffled due to the fact that his face was buried in your hair. You heard him, nonetheless, and pulled back again before taking ahold of his face. You inspected him closely, looking for any sign that he was injured in the years that you were away. When you found nothing, you let out a soft sigh before asking him why he was here.
"Nothing you should worry about, angela." He said, the nickname rolling from his tongue with ease. You remember well enough how the nickname came into existence, something that you always cringed at. Only because you sprouted the name 'Angelo' to him when you first met him and to tease you, he had called you the same ever since.
"When I see you I can not help but worry." You told him like it was a matter of fact, which it honestly was if you thought about it, and the man before you could only smile before cupping your face in his hands.
"I missed you dearly." He said and you almost smiled as he spoke in Italian, the accent coming through quite heavily. You returned the sentiment with a soft kiss on his cheek, giving him a small smile before detaching yourself from his arms. It was proven a bit more difficult than expected, the man was firm to not let you go. And one thing was certain, a determined Vincenzo was impossible to beat. Then again, you wouldn't be trying to get out if you didn't know a trick to win from him. So once you were successfully escaped, you only gave another smile before leaving the apartment.
Tumblr media
"Please, you're in love with her!" Cha-Young cackled as she watched Vincenzo stare at you, clearly a bit annoyed as he watched you conversed with Han-Seo. The younger man was happily talking to you, after all you were the only one who wasn't hostile to him. Reason for that, you already knew everything about the boy after looking at (hacking into) his profile and thus you knew that the man wasn't any danger to you. Besides, he was cute as he gleamed every time you send a compliment his way.
"I'm not." "Oh, please! Even a blind man could see!" Cha-Young didn't give up, continuing her teasing with a bright smile. She turned in her chair, facing you before glancing back at Vincenzo.
"I thought you were a consigliere for the mafia. You act like a highschooler in love." She sighed loudly, to which Vincenzo only rolled his eyes. Then again, he couldn't refute her claims. Not when his heart was beating out of his chest everytime you laughed and his head was screaming at him to separate you from Han-Seo, his mind clouded with jealousy. Maybe it was obvious, because when your eyes connected with his you let out a short giggle before focusing back on your conversation.
"You're hopeless." Cha-Young had enough, getting up and walking out of the room while dragging Joo-Sung and Han-Seo with her so that you and Vincenzo would be alone. You shook your head, it was quite obvious what had happened just now. You glanced at Vincenzo before moving closer, sitting on his desk before turning to face him again. Now he basically sat in between your legs, but didn't seem uncomfortable by it at all. Although you could see some form of embarrassment thanks to the blush on his ears.
"I need to finish my work." "It can wait, we need to talk." You stated and Vincenzo made an annoyed face, but you knew well enough that it meant nothing. So instead you grabbed the sides of his chair and pulled him closer until he actually sat in between your legs. He looked up at you and you smiled at him before leaning down, softly kissing the tip of his nose with a big grin. A dark blush spread over Vincenzo's face and you giggled as you watched the consigliere.
"So, what were you and Cha-Young talking about?" You asked, but your voice gave away that you already knew the subject. So instead of answering, Vincenzo just rolled back before getting up and trapping you in between his arms as he leaned on the desk. You weren't fazed by it, you had seen his worst side already and you knew well enough that he wouldn't harm you.
"Might it have been about a certain crush." You teased as you threw your arms around his neck, pulling him down slightly to meet your own height. The blush on his face was slowly disappearing, but it quickly appeared again when you leaned closer until your noses touched.
"Then again, I'm the same way." You smiled one final time before you pushed your lips against his. Vincenzo froze in the spot, not reacting immediatley. Once out of his trance, he was quick to lean into the kiss as his arms lifted from the desk to wrap around your waist instead. He took the lead quite quickly, pushing against you while also pulling you closer to himself. Both of your minds were blank, only focused on each other until you couldn't breath anymore. He stared at you before smirking softly, leaning back and pulling you a bit closer again.
"We should talk more often."

Chapter One: Jipuragi Law Firm
Tumblr media
The moment Han-seo walked into the Jipuragi Law Firm office he could feel the tension and wariness radiating off of Vincenzo, Mr. Nam, and Ms. Hong. When he dared to look in your direction he was thrown off by your relaxed expression and the way your eyes shone with genuine curiosity. This made his demeanor immediately change from nervousness to standing on guard. He mentally shook himself before speaking. "Well, your office seems lame and awkward. It's nice." He said glancing around the room. This was a welcome change of scenery compared to the offices he'd grown accustomed to. "Why are you here?" Vincenzo stepped away from Mr. Nam and Ms. Hong. His question pulled Han-seo from his thoughts.
"What Mr. Cassano means is, how can we help you?" Vincenzo turned a questioning glance towards you. Your question took Han-seo by surprise. He was so used to being treated indifferently or as if his mere existence was an annoyance or inconvenience to those around him. He had also grown used to everyone treating him like an idiot. The way you spoke to him sounded as if you genuinely wanted to help him. "Oh, right." Han-seo stepped forward and placed a gift bag on the table. "It's nothing much. Just the most expensive and luxurious coffee made from civit's poop." He stated proudly. "What a load of crap." Mr. Nam spoke as he grabbed the gift bag and walked towards the coffee area. "Who is that guy?" Han-seo directed his question at Vincenzo. "That's Mr. Nam, he's one of our paralegals. I'm the other paralegal." You responded, instead of Vincenzo. Han-seo nodded and smiled before taking a seat at the table. Mr. Nam came back to the table with a cup for everyone.
"Why didn't you use the coffee I brought?" Han-seo asked as he inspected his cup. "We don't have a coffee maker." Mr. Nam stated before taking a seat at his desk. "Gosh. Your working conditions here are awful. Why is this so bitter?" Han-seo spoke. You chanced a glance at Mr. Nam and saw him roll his eyes, making you smile. There was never a dull moment in the office. "I never exploit betrayals within family." Vincenzo's voice pulled your attention back to him and Han-seo. “I heard that you asked Mr. Cassano to get rid of your own brother.” Cha-young said. “It would have all worked if he did what I asked. Things have gotten worse because you declined.” Han-seo stated, turning his attention to Vincenzo.
“Didn’t I tell you. I never exploit betrayals within family.” Vincenzo said. “I forgot to tell you this because I was flustered. I’m not trying to betray my own brother. What I want…” Han-seo started “how should I put it? I don’t want people to die anymore.” “Hm” Vincenzo said. “I’m trying to run Babel legally.” Han-seo finished speaking. “I guess you’ve been studying a lot. Your vocabulary has gotten better.” Cha-young stated. Han-seo smirked and nodded. You stayed silent, listening carefully to everyone. “Let me get this straight. You want to run the company properly, after getting rid of your brother?” Vincenzo asked him.
“That’s it.” Han-seo stated as he leaned forward and pointed at Vincenzo. Vincenzo hummed and nodded in understanding. You gave Vincenzo a puzzled look. One that he seemed to have missed or completely ignored. “I really love Babel. I want to run the company the right way.” Han-seo started as he let his hand fall to the table. “I really don’t want people to get killed. I meant that.” You could tell he was being sincere, but it seemed like the others needed to be convinced. “Why don’t you fix it then? Why are you asking us for help?” Cha-young asked him. “That’s because… no matter how much I think about it, you are the only people who can beat him.” Han-seo said as he leaned back in his chair. “I mean, he’s not wrong.” You spoke quietly. Han-seo gave you a puzzled look, but said nothing about the comment you had made.
“I like your intention. But do you deserve the seat?” He turned his attention back to Vincenzo when he spoke. “I’ve been studying how to run a company. I’m reading a lot of books. Humanities and economy. I read everything. I want to read all the time.” Han-seo stated proudly. “Hmm.” Vincenzo quickly glanced at Cha-young and then you before stating “then here’s a quiz.” “A quiz, all of a sudden? Fine. Go ahead. Give me a question.” Han-seo prepared himself. You sat up straighter as things got a little more interesting. “In the Wealth of Nations, Adam Smith says this hand brings order to a market economy? What is it?” Vincenzo asks him. “Polite hand.” Han-seo states confidently. “Ding! Wrong. The invisible hand.” Cha-young corrects him. “As the economy grows, government expenditures in gross national product also increase. Name this law.” Vincenzo stated. You looked from Vincenzo to Han-seo. “Law of the jungle.” His answer made you want to giggle. Instead you tried hard to compose yourself and stay quiet. “Ding! Wrong. Wagner’s law.” Cha-young corrected him, seeming a bit annoyed that he got the answer wrong, yet again. At this point you began to feel sorry for Han-seo. “This is the easiest one.” Vincenzo started. Is it though? You thought silently to yourself. “To improve the company’s competitiveness, you learn something from another company. What is this term that originated from an iron rod? Here’s a hint. Bench…” Vincenzo didn’t get to finish speaking before Han-seo was interrupting. “Bench. Bench. Bench. Bench press. Bench press!!” He said with so much confidence, you found that to be adorable. “Ding! Wrong. Benchmarking.” Cha-young stated.
“Get out.” Vincenzo said as he stood from his chair. “Wait. Hold on. Didn’t I get a single one right?” Han-seo asked as he stood from his seat. You shook your head no when he looked in your direction. Cha-young stood up beside Vincenzo. Vincenzo laughed and then looked to the ground. “How could you get everything wrong?” Cha-young asked him. “The polite hand was correct. No?” Han-seo asked. “If you want our help, go study more. If you want to join us, you must be smart.” Vincenzo stated. “Is this a symposium or what? Why?” Han-seo asked. “Feel free to say no.” Cha-young said. “Get out.” Vincenzo gave a shooing motion towards the exit. Mr. Nam moved from his desk to stand near the door. You stood from your seat giving everyone a puzzled look. Han-seo gave another look in your direction before turning to walk away. “Wait. If I pass your quiz the next time I’m here. You’ll really help me then, right?” Han-seo turned back to face Vincenzo and Cha-young. “Get out.” Vincenzo stated firmly.
“Seriously. You’re so petty. Fine. I’ll leave.” Han-seo stated as he headed towards the door. This time you lightly laughed at his statement. Again Han-seo decided to turn back to them. “What will you quiz me on?” He asked. “Out. Mr. Nam.” Vincenzo commanded, gesturing to Mr. Nam to show Han-seo out. Han-seo finally walked towards the door. Before leaving he asked Mr. Nam “did you know about the polite hand?” “Here are my polite hands.” Mr. Nam said as he opened the law firm’s doors. Han-seo gave him a look before walking through them. Mr. Nam closed the doors once Han-seo stepped a distance away from the doors. “Don’t you think you guys were a bit hard on him?” You asked. Mr. Nam and Cha-young gave you a puzzled look. Vincenzo only shrugged. “Are you really going to help Jang Han-seo?” Cha-young asked as she leaned on the table. Directing her question and attention at Vincenzo. He turned his attention to her and only hummed a response. You weren’t quite sure what that meant, but a part of you hoped that it meant yes. You personally thought Han-seo deserved the help.
Chapter Two: Can We Be Friends?
Tumblr media
A week had gone by since Han-seo visited the firm. Mr. Nam, Vincenzo, and Cha-young kept themselves busy trying to sort through all the files that were saved to Guillotine. You helped here and there, even if your mind happened to be elsewhere. You slowly made your way to your favorite cafe, thoughts racing about Han-seo’s well being. You had overheard Mr. Nam explaining to Vincenzo that Jun-woo abused and tortured Han-seo through the years. It broke your heart to hear about that bit of information.
You were so lost in thought that you hadn’t been paying attention to your surroundings. Next thing you knew, you ran into someone, lost your footing, and fell to the ground. “I’m so sorry. I should have been paying attention to where I was going.” You said as you began to stand, brushing yourself off. You hadn’t looked up quite yet, to see who it was you bumped into. “Uh, it’s fine.” You froze when you recognized the voice. Finally looking up, you were greeted by a familiar face. “What are the chances of bumping into you here.” You joked, as you gave Han-seo a once over glance. You furrowed your brows when you noticed Han-seo surveying the area. “Is everything all right?” You asked him quietly. “Only making sure no one followed me. I had to sneak away. I felt suffocated and needed air.” He spoke quietly to you. You nodded in understanding. “Being the Babel Chairman means all eyes are always on you.” You said. He nodded in agreement to your statement. “That explains your relaxed attire. I wouldn’t have recognized you if you hadn’t spoken.” You admitted. He furrowed his brows and looked down at his outfit. “You’re used to seeing me in a suit, just like everyone else. I get it.” He said, with a gentle smile. You were a little shocked by how easy it was to talk to him. You remembered how he had looked at you with weariness a week ago. You began to wonder what changed his behavior.
“Hey, I’m headed out to have lunch, would you like to join me?” You asked. He looked around again. “Is the place you go to well known? Big crowd?” You could hear the nervousness in his tone. “Honestly, no. It’s a family owned cafe. I only know about it because the owners’ are family friends to me. You’ll only know about the place if you’re looking or if a regular customer happens to mention it to you.” You admitted to him. He was silent for a moment as he mulled over his options. “As long as you’re offering an invitation, I’ll accept.” Han-seo said, breaking the silence that fell around the two of you. “Great, follow me.” Without thinking you gently grabbed his wrist and began to lead the way. You stopped when you felt him flinch and tug his wrist from your grasp. “Oh, I’m sorry. I got excited and didn’t think before acting.” You said as you turned your attention to him. Shoving both hands into your pockets and opting to walk beside him. “I’m sorry, it was sudden.” Han-seo spoke softly. Letting his hand fall to his side. You were confused on why he would apologize, because you felt that he didn’t need to apologize.
He felt guilty for the interaction, but he didn’t want to explain his reaction. At least not right now. He was glad that you still wanted to be close to him. He wouldn’t admit it right now, but you’ve been on his mind since he left the law firm last week. A part of him wanted to get to know you. “We’re here.” You announced when you got to the cafe door. Pulling him out of his thoughts. You turned to him and smiled.
“Ready?” You questioned him. He nodded his head in agreement as you opened the door. The atmosphere of the cafe was calm and relaxing. He scanned the cafe from one side to the next. There wasn’t a single familiar face present. A sight he openly welcomed. He watched you as you waved to a woman at the counter. You turned your attention to him. “My favorite booth is open. Best part is you can easily see both exits and it’s away from the windows.” You pointed out to him. He nodded as he followed you. A few minutes after sitting down, the woman from behind the counter walked over to the table. “Hey there, Y/N. I see you brought a friend today.” She gave Han-seo a welcoming smile. “Han-seo, this is Mrs. Ha-joon. Mrs. Ha-joon this is Han-seo, he’s my new friend.” You told her proudly. You missed the way his breath hitched. His mind began racing, thinking suddenly this wasn’t a good idea. Any time he made a friend Jun-woo made sure to drive them away. He also couldn’t remember the last time someone had wanted to be his friend without having an ulterior motive or horrible intentions.
“Here are the menus.” Mrs. Ha-joon’s voice dragged Han-seo back into reality. “Thank you. We’ll need a few moments.” You told her. “I’ll be back.” She said before walking off. “Are you all right?” You softly asked Han-seo. “Uh, yeah. What would you recommend?” He replied, looking down to the menu instead of into your eyes. You didn’t want to push him so you decided to look over the menu as well. “Honestly, everything is great here.” You admitted. “I think I’ll go with today’s special. It sounds great and I love spicy food.” Han-seo said. “Sounds good. I’m going to order my usual.” You told him. Silence fell around the two of you. The only thing that could be heard was the soft music playing over the speakers in the cafe. Han-seo chanced a glance at you.
You were still reading over the menu, even though you knew exactly what you wanted. His heart felt heavy. The one thing he had wanted for a long time was friend who wouldn’t judge him. One who wouldn’t think he’s similar to Jun-woo. He wanted someone to talk to that hadn’t been bought by the Jang family. However, he wasn’t sure that could be you. A part of him wanted so badly to be friends, the other part wanted to fiercely protect you from the dangers of being his friend. “Han-seo, are you sure you’re all right? I can feel you staring at me.” You raised your head up to look at him. “Honestly, a bit scared.” Han-seo looked down to the table as he spoke. He took the chance and decided that he wanted to be honest with you. Before you could say anything Mrs. Ha-joon appeared. “Ready to order?” She asked. “Uh, I’ll have the usual and he would like today’s special.” You told her as you handed your menu to her. You gently took Han-seo’s menu and handed it to her. “Would you like the drink that comes with the special?” Mrs. Ha-joon asked Han-seo. “Yes, please.” Han-seo replied. She smiled at the two of you before walking away to place your orders.
You waited a few moments for her to return with the drinks. After you were sure she wasn’t going to return for awhile, you turned your attention back to Han-seo.“Why are you scared?” You asked him softly. “Because, it’s hard to make friends when you have a brother like mine. People I care for always end up getting hurt. Also, most people who want to be my friend have bad intentions or an ulterior motive.” You could hear the pain in his tone. “I understand. I’m also an adult making the decision that I would like to be your friend. I’m fully aware of what your brother is capable of doing. What his minions are capable of doing. No bad intentions and no ulterior motive.” You stated. Han-seo looked up to meet your eyes. He could tell you were being sincere in your words.
“Do you think they’ll help?” He suddenly asked. You knew exactly who he was talking about. “I’m hoping they will. Your brother is a monster and he does need to be stopped.” You said. “Well, either way, I’ll find a way to solve my problem.” He said. He didn’t feel very confident about it but he decided to say it anyhow.“I believe Vincenzo will help, he just needs a bit more convincing.” You told Han-seo before taking a sip of your drink. The smile on your face and the confidence in your voice threw him off a bit, but he silently welcomed it. A comfortable silence began to fall as the two of you waited for your meals. Han-seo noticed that he was beginning to relax in the slightest bit. He still had his fears and doubts racing through his mind. But he had decided that, just for a fraction of the time, he’d welcome the peace that you somehow brought to him within this cafe. The bell ringing on the door made him jump and look to the exit. It wasn’t anyone he knew or anyone who knew him. Just another customer that Mrs. Ha-joon happily welcomed. “If you’re worried about your brother or his goons showing up, I understand. But, I wanted to tell you his type wouldn’t come here because it’s not fancy enough.” You tried to ease his mind.
Before he could speak a man had come to your table with your meals. “The usual for you.” He said as he put your meal in front of you. “Today’s special for you. Please, enjoy.” The man said as he placed Han-seo’s meal in front of him. He gave the two of you a smile before walking away. “That was Mr. Ha-joon, he’s the chef and Mrs. Ha-joon’s husband. He's also a man of few words, if you get what I mean.” You told him before taking a bite of your food. “I get it. And thank you, for trying to ease my worries.” Han-seo spoke softly. You simply smiled at him. “We’re friends now.” You told him. Instead of saying anything he nodded his head in agreement. In this moment he decided that he would take the risk and become your friend. The two of you ate in a comfortable silence and enjoyed the meal.
✨️✨️✨️
“Thank you, again. For the meal and conversation.” Han-seo said as he began to tidy his side of the table. “No problem. Do you have anywhere you need to be right now?” You asked him. “I should head back to Babel before Jun-woo or the bodyguards grow suspicious.” Han-seo said. As if on cue, his phone began to ring. Your heart clenched at the way his features twisted into a look of fear when he glanced at the caller ID. “I’m sorry, I have to go.” Han-seo said as he stood. Answering his phone a few moments later. You could hear him apologizing and saying he went for a walk, he’s on his way back now. That was all you heard as he walked away and out of the cafe.
“Is everything all right?” Mrs. Ha-joon asked when she walked over to your table. “Yeah, I’ll take the check now.” You replied. She nodded her head before walking back to the counter. A few moments later she returned with the check. Once you paid, you headed back to Jipuragi law firm. Your thoughts filled with Han-seo and hoping that no harm would come to him. Becoming his friend may prove to be difficult, but you felt, it would be worth it.
Chapter Three: Patching Him Up
Tumblr media
“Don’t dodge this.” Jun-woo commanded as he readied himself to throw what was in his hand at Han-seo. Han-seo nodded his head “I won’t.” Those were the last words spoken before the object connected with his forehead, creating a small cut above his right eyebrow. Jun-woo gave him a disapproving stare and sighed heavily once Han-seo gained his composure after the object fell to the ground.
Clenching his fists and sighing he said “I’m sorry. I didn’t expect the firefighters to be dispatched.” “Can’t even blow up one building?” Jun-woo leaned on the back of his desk chair as he spoke. “Why? I don’t get it?” He continued on. “It was just about to explode, but the authorities …” Han-seo’s words trailed off. “Right, the authorities.” Jun-woo said as he turned away from him. Clearly unamused and pissed at the current situation. “I’ll think of another reckless way to take care of it.” Han-seo said. “Are you saying I was reckless.” Jun-woo directed his attention back to him. “Yes..” Han-seo started before correcting himself. “I mean, no.”
Relief rushed through him as a knock resonated through the office. “Who is it?” Jun-woo asked. “I have something urgent to report.” Choi Myung-hee announced as she walked into the room. “Hey. Get out.” Jun-woo directed his words at Han-seo. “Yes, sir.” He said before bowing, he grabbed his coat and made his way out of the office.
✨️✨️✨️
Instead of heading to the hospital like any normal person would, Han-seo made his way towards your home. Going to you after facing his brother had become a habit for him, once the two of you became closer. He felt more comfortable getting patched up by you than anyone else. He didn’t even trust the private doctor that had been hired for the Jang family. Like all of the other times, he drove by himself, leaving his driver and body guards at his brother's law office. His head guard told him that he shouldn’t go anywhere alone, but he refused to listen to him. The drive to your house was silent as he thought about what his next move would be. He had high hopes that his next visit to Jipuragi Law Firm would change Vincenzo’s mind.
✨️✨️✨️
The knock at your door made you jump slightly before pausing the movie you were watching. “One moment.” You yelled as you made your way towards your door. Your jaw dropped when you opened it to see blood streaming down Han-seo’s face. “I swear if Vincezo doesn’t help you, I’m going to take Jun-woo down myself.” You moved aside to allow him into your home. “I’d rather you stay far away from him.” Han-seok said. “I hear what you’re saying, but if he keeps this up..” The pleading look Han-seo was giving you made your words trail off. “Take a seat at the breakfast counter, I’ll go grab the first aid kit.” You said before walking off. Han-seo nodded and did as he was told. A few moments later you reappeared and set everything on the counter.
Han-seo sat in the chair silently, watching you carefully. You were currently setting out all of the items you would need to clean and patch his wound. “I’m sorry.” He whispered. You paused and turned your attention to his eyes. “Why? You didn’t do anything wrong.” You spoke softly to him. “I got blood on your carpet.” You followed his gaze and saw a few droplets of blood staining your carpet. "Carpets can be cleaned.” You turned your attention back to the task at hand. You soaked a washcloth with warm water and soap. “Hold still.” You gently commanded as you used one hand to tilt his face upward and the other to clean off the blood. “It may sting a little.” You told him when you got closer to his wound. Han-seo flinched as the washcloth made contact with his wound. “I’m sorry.” You told him gently. You directed your eyes from his wound to make eye contact with him. You were completely unaware of how Han-seo’s posture stiffened when your eyes met. “It’s, uh. Fine. Only stung a bit, like you said.” He said nervously. You gently nodded and turned your attention back to his wound. You still held his chin in your hand as you continued to gently clean his face. Suddenly you let go and moved to rinse the washcloth. When you repeated your actions to get Han-seo to stay still, this time he didn’t flinch when washcloth touched his wound. You smiled at him as you gently let his chin go and set the cloth down.
“Next, are the adhesive strips. When this heals you might have a tiny scar.” You said as you turned back to the counter to grab the strips. Han-seo didn’t say anything, instead he sat silently waiting for your next move. Again you gently raised his face upwards, this time you didn’t leave your hand on his chin. You missed the look of disappointment that flashed in his eyes as you focused on placing the strips on his wound. Making sure they were sticky enough and spaced properly.
“One day, your brother will get what he rightfully deserves.” You stated before stepping away from Han-seo. You nodded your head in satisfaction as you did a once over glance of his wound. “All finished. You’re lucky that I have training in first aid.” You said softly. “Thank you.” Han-seo told you. “Han-seo, why do you always come to me after facing him? I honestly don’t mind, I’m just curious is all.” You asked as he began to help you clean up. “It’s because you’re always so gentle. And because you don’t give me the same looks everyone else around me does.” Han-seo said.
You smiled at him. After he handed you the first aid kit he went to sit back down. You walked off to put everything away. A few moments later you came back to the kitchen. You silently moved around the kitchen, preparing to make tea.
“Why do you always help without a second thought?” Han-seo suddenly asked. You stopped in your tracks and glanced up at him. He had his hands clasped together and resting on the counter, staring at them intently. Trying his hardest not to meet your gaze at the moment. “Han-seo” You slowly walked to where you were standing in front of him. The counter being the only object separating the two of you. You rested both hands on the counter. “I’m always willing to help you without a second thought, because you’re my friend and I truly do care for you. I’ll remind you that I have no ulterior motives. I understand that may be difficult to process.” Your voice was gentle as you spoke. “You mean it?” Han-seo looked up from his hands to meet your gaze. “Of course. If I have to, I’ll remind you every time your doubts get too loud.” You moved around the counter to stand closer to Han-seo and gently set a hand on his shoulder. “Han-seo, you may not believe me when I say this. But to me, you’re not a nobody, you’re a somebody. You are worthy and you are loved. Don’t believe anyone who says otherwise. Especially if it's your brother. He’s a monster.” You wanted to say more but couldn’t as Han-seo stood up and began to hug you tightly.
“Thank you.” Han-seo spoke softly. You wrapped your arms around him to hug him back. “No problem.” You spoke just as softly. Han-seo let go after a few moments and pulled away. You slowly reached up to his face and gently wiped away the tears that fell. “It’s going to be okay, eventually.” You said. He smiled as he leaned into your touch more. For Han-seo, this moment meant a lot more to him than you were aware of. He had always been used to hands that meant him harm. Always used to being used. In this moment he felt human, he felt safe, and most importantly, he actually felt loved. The whistle from the kettle interrupted this moment. You smiled at him before walking away to tend to the kettle.
You pulled tea cups from your cupboard. Han-seo sat back in his chair, fondly watching every move you made. You set down the cups, one in front of him, the other in front of the seat next to him. You walked back to the stove to grab the tea kettle and the packets of tea that sat next to the stove on the counter. As Han-seo watched your movements, it was in that moment that he realized, this is the type of life he wished he had. A life where someone would care for him the way he so desperately needed. Someone he would care for just as much.
In the end Han-seo ended up staying the night at your place, not caring about the consequences he may face for it. He had decided that tomorrow he would go to Jipuragi Law Firm and confess what he had done.
Chapter Four: Han-seo's "Battle" Scar
Tumblr media
You woke up to Han-seo gently shaking your shoulder. “I’m sorry to wake you, I just wanted to tell you that I’ll be going now. But you’ll see me later.” He whispered to you. “All right.” You groggily replied to him. He smiled softly at you before leaving your home. Instead of waking up right away, you decided to sleep a little bit longer. Not ready to face the day just yet.
✨️✨️✨️
When you had finally gotten up and dressed for the day, you headed for the law firm. When you walked into the room, the atmosphere felt heavy. You hadn’t been told what had happened yet. “Everything in this building could’ve turned to ashes.” Mr. Nam said, giving you an idea of what was going. “I wonder who reported it, though.” Cha-young said. As if on cue, Han-seo walked through the door in the most ridiculous outfit you’ve ever seen him in. He strolled in and took a seat in the chair beside Vincenzo. Everyone in the room giving him a puzzled looked.
“Sir, I’d like some luwak coffee today.” He told Mr. Nam. You raised a brow at his attitude, wondering what exactly you missed. “It was such a hassle to brew it, so I sold it online.” Mr. Nam stated flatly. “Why would you? Don’t you know how rare it is?" Han-seo asked. “What’s with your clothes? It’s as if you live in the ‘80s Koreatown.” Cha-young asked. “I was just about to ask what’s up with this attire.” You blurted out. Han-seo smiled as he took off his tinted glasses. “I disguised myself in case someone recognized me on the way here.” Cha-young, Vincenzo, and Mr. Nam gave each other a look. You silently watched the whole exchange.
You were about to slap Han-seo’s hand when he began to press on his wound. Han-seo hummed in pain to get everyone’s attention. “What? Oh, this. I actually came here to tell you guys about this.” You rolled your eyes at his antics. “Let me tell you. This is a battle scar that I got for saving your lives.” He said while pointing at his wound. You raised a brow at him. Cha-young finally sat down in a chair at the table. “What do you mean?” “Yesterday, when this building was about to blow up. Who do you think reported it?” His words cleared your confusion about what Mr. Nam was referring to moments ago. He stood from the table as he continued to speak. “You see, my brother ordered me to blow up this building. And I made him think I was going to do so. Then I called the authorities at the right time. It really was dangerous.” He looked so proud of himself as he told everyone what happened. You couldn’t help but smile along with him.
“Are we supposed to thank you or something?” Cha-young asked him. “Of course, you should. You could’ve been buried alive, but I saved all of you.” Han-seo responded. “Thank you.” Mr. Nam stated flatly. Cha-young saying thank you in the same tone. Vincenzo stood up from his chair and walked away to the shelves that held different files on them. Han-seo followed him because he wanted to speak to him. You were curious so you stood up to stand closer to them. “My borther and Wusang know that there’s gold and the Guillotine file here. You know that, right?” Han-seo told Vincenzo. “That’s probably why he wanted to blow this place up.” Vincenzo responded. “He won’t stop here. He could even launch a missile.” “Oh my god. Nuclear launch detected.” Mr. Nam said, making Han-seo turn to stare at him with a surprised look on his face. “Don’t you think this is enough for you to do me that favor? I’ve done enough haven’t I?” Han-seo turned his attention back to Vincenzo as he spoke. Vincenzo looked up from the file he was flipping through. “Fine. I’ll do it. We’ll discuss details later.” Han-seo held a pinky out to Vincenzo with a smile on his face.
Vincenzo only smiled before throwing the file he held into Han-seo’s hands. “Organize them in alphabetical order.” Vincenzo told him. “Alphabetical?” Han-seo said looking down at the file he held. “Second from the top.” Mr. Nam announced. Han-seo turned to him with a smile and a nod before setting the file he held on the shelf.
“I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you what happned last night.” Han-seo turned to you as he spoke. You were currently leaning up against the copying machine that sat next to the shelves. “Oh, uh, it’s fine.” You replied to him. “Hold up, did we miss something?” Cha-young asked as she leaned forward on the table. You weren’t sure why, but your face began to heat up from the look she was giving you. “Who do you think patched me up?” Han-seo pointed to his wound as he spoke. “A doctor at the Emergency Room ” Mr. Nam answered. At this moment you were currently looking at the ground. You missed the way Han-seo smiled as he shook his head no to Mr. Nam’s statement. “Well, then. Who?” Cha-young asked. Instead of speaking, Han-seo happily pointed to you. Cha-young’s jaw dropped. Mr. Nam and Vincenzo raised a brow at his action. “Since when are the two of you that close?” Mr. Nam asked curiously.
“Since, some time after the day we had lunch together.” Han-seo turned to you as he spoke. You finally looked up from the floor to see him with a wide grin on his face. “I think, it’s been about a month or so since then.” You admitted. He nodded his head in agreement. “Huh.” You turned to see Vincenzo smirking at the two of you. You shook your head at them and turned to the shelves. Showing Han-seo where each file should be stored. Silence had fallen when you began to organize with Han-seo. Everyone decided to do their own thing, leaving the two of you in your own world for now. Vincenzo happened to steal a glance of the two of you working together. His sharp eye caught the way Han-seo would fondly glance at you when you weren't looking. Vincenzo could see what was happening, instead of saying anything he thought it best to stay silent and let it happen on it's own.
When the two of you had finished the task Han-seo headed home for the day. Cha-young was sitting at her desk. Vincenzo was at his desk. You moved to sit at the table. Not sure of what to do now. “Mr. Cassano, where are you going?” Mr. Nam asked. You looked up to see Vincenzo walking out of the office. You turned to see Cha-young shaking her head no as Mr. Nam looked in her direction. You’d be lying if you had said you weren’t curious. The three of you went back to doing your own things for a bit. Up until it was time to go home.
Chapter Five: Jun-woo's Sinister Announcement
Tumblr media
Han-seo was stuck being in the presence of his brother. “Make sure to make me feel ecstatic tonight. I’m looking forward to it.” Jun-woo announced to his phone. “Yes, sir. I promise to bring you good news.” Myung-hee said over the speaker of his phone. “Okay.” He said as he hung up. At that moment Han-seo stepped into the room with a tray in his hands. On the tray sat a glass of water and a bottle of vitamins. “You seem to be in a great mood. Did you go somewhere nice?” “That’s none of your business. What’s this?” “Oh, this? You don’t look too great these days. Your ears look humongous as well. This is for your health.” “After all you’ve done? Also, my ears were always huge.” “Really?” Jun-woo began to pour the vitamins into his hand. “Wait. One pill is enough.” Jun-woo gave him a look before dumping all but one vitamin back into the bottle and downing the glass of water.
“Are you really not going to tell me where you’ve been?” Han-seo asked his brother. Jun-woo had set the glass down and began to walk away. Instead of giving a clear answer he huffed and shook his head no. It was clear to Han-seo that something was up, but god forbid if his brother was ever honest with him. He glanced around the room, wondering where and what Jun-woo was up to. He moved to the table and lifted the jacket, sniffing it as if that would give him a clue. “Damn it. You could’ve told me in return for the supplements.” He spoke aloud to himself. Not knowing what dark scheme his brother had done was beginning to weigh heavily on his mind as he walked out of Jun-woo's room.
✨️✨️✨️
“All right. Let’s drink ourselves to death tonight.” Jun-woo said as he raised his glass. “Why are you in such a great mood today?” Han-seo asked curiously. “Because I killed Vincenzo’s mother.” He proudly responded. Han-seo’s heart sank at his brother's confession. Seung-hyeok was stunned by what was just spoken. “The one he was finally reunited with after 30 years?!” Han-seo couldn’t believe how proud his brother looked. He also couldn’t fathom why he would be happy about something so sinister.
“What?!” He blurted out. “He must be devastated, right?” Jun-woo had a sinister look of pride taking over his features as he spoke. “Were you aware of this?” Seung-hyeok asked. Myung-hee said nothing and sipped on her drink. Han-seo was stunned into silence, but he knew the question wasn’t directed at him. Or at least he had hoped that it wasn’t. “What’s wrong? Are you scared that I killed his mom?” Jun-woo asked in a mocking tone. “No, sir. I’m just worried it might worsen the current situation.” Seung-hyeok replied nervously. “I feel the same way. No good can come out of provoking him.” Han-seo admitted. He tried to keep his voice calm and steady. The last thing he wanted was for his brother to see and hear just how terrified he was currently feeling.
Jun-woo said nothing as he swirled his drink around, with a look of ‘oh really?’ gracing his features. “Since you joined hands, you must share the same feelings too.” Myung-hee said. “Joined hands? What are you trying to say?” Seung-hyeok asked. “Hey, Ms. Choi. How dare you talk so impudently?” Han-seo stood up from where he sat, facing Myung-hee. “I’m not being impudent. I’m just stating a fact.” Han-seo sighed heavily before turning to his brother. “That’s not true. He was just lending me a hand because I lacked so much.” “You’ve been meeting each other a bit too often for “just lending a hand”.” Myung-hee stated. “Damn it.” Han-seo turned his attention to her. “What? Have you been watching me?” Seung-hyeok stood up in a defensive manner. “Wait. Then me too. How can you keep tabs on your allies?” Han-seo asked. “It’s because you weren’t acting like allies. That’s why we did it.” She looked up to Han-seo with a blank stare. “Hey! Who do you think you’re talking to? Show some resepct.” Han-seo raised his voice at her.
Both Myung-hee and Jun-woo gave him a wicked smile instead of saying anything. Han-seo felt sick to his stomach at the events that were playing before him. Nothing could have prepared him for what had happened tonight. He knew that nothing good would come of this. “Hey. You must be out of your mind because of my brother when you’re a mere lawyer.” He directed his words at Myung-hee. Setting her glass down, she stood up. “Maybe. But I can still see through your lousy plan to betray the chairman.” Han-seo’s heart sank. “Ms. Choi!” Seung-hyeok yelled. “Watch what you say! He’s still our client nonetheless!” He pointed to Han-seo as he yelled.
Jun-woo sat quietly in his chair watching everything unfold before him. Silently enjoying the way everyone seemed to be at each other’s throats. Myung-hee moved from where she was standing to stand directly in front of Seung-hyeok. “Seung-hyeok, you of all people should have been more careful. How dare you betray the chairman’s trust?” “What did I do? How could you frame me like this?” “Frame my ass. You should’ve known better. How could you?” In frustration Seung-hyeok yanked his glasses off his face, running a hand down his features. “Do I look like a pawn now that you’ve gained some wealth and power? If it wasn’t for me, you’d still be Mr. Seo’s gopher back at the Namdongbu Office!” “Gopher”? “That’s right.” Myung-hee began to asssault him. “Do you want to die? I’m your senior! Show some respect!” Seung-hyeok fell to his knees turning his attention to Jun-woo. “Sir, I don’t know what she told you, but it isn’t true…”
Everyone turned their attention to the other side of the room when Myung-hee suddenly screamed. A man covered in blood asking for help had suddenly entered. What happened next shocked and terrified Han-seo. The man was shot in the head. As his body fell to the floor Vincenzo stood facing them with a gun. Vincenzo slowly walked forward pointing his weapon directly at Jun-woo. Ignoring Myung-hee and the way she was shaking with her hands in the air. The man’s blood covering and dripping from her face. Vincenzo had one goal and ignored everything else around him.
Jun-woo was barely phased by his actions. Suddenly, Vincenzo pointed his gun at Myung-hee making her duck for cover. Then he pointed it at Seung-hyeok and Han-seo, startling the both of them. Then pointing back at Jun-woo. He smirked but said nothing as he watched Vincenzo. Vincenzo began to point his gun at Myung-hee again, as he took several steps forward. Suddenly he aimed and shot around the room a few times.
“Killing my mother wasn’t just evil. It was utterly foolish. I knew that you killed countless people and even tried to kill me. But do you know why I didn’t kill you? Because it was a hassle.” Vincenzo said. Jun-woo looked up from where he was cowering to stare at him. He began to walk closer to Jun-woo. “I had a job to do. So if I’d killed you, it would’ve inconvenienced me a lot. Killing these small flies, wouldn’t though.” Vicnenzo said as he took a seat on one of the couches. “Anyway. You have to die now.” “No. Please.” Han-seo begged. “Why? No.” Seung-hyeok pleaded. Jun-woo looked to Vincenzo in anger and annoyance. “Don’t be scared. It won’t be today. You see, I’ve got a principle. “A painless death is a blessing”." Vicnenzo stated. “I will give you two things. A humiliation worse than death, and a slow death where you’ll experience it every step of the way.” Vincenzo glanced at Jun-woo for a moment then looked away. “You can take care of that garbage. And don’t even think about pinning it on me. If you do, people will find out who put him up to it.” He stood up and turned to leave. A moment later he turned back around and walked towards Jun-woo. Making Jun-woo back up against the chair he was near. “I should give you a preview.” He said as he pointed his gun at Jun-woo. Without even flinching Vincenzo aimed at his ear and pulled the trigger.
Jun-woo flinched and grabbed for his ear. Afterwards Vincenzo walked out as if nothing had happened. Everyone had rushed to Jun-woo's side. Panicking about what should be done. Eventually the authorities were called and he was taken to the hospital to have his ear taken care of.

Don't Pretend (Vincenzo)
Tumblr media
Y/N is a very successful civil rights investigator and a friend of Cha-young. Cha-young called her when she needed help building their case against Babel. Chairman Han seo thinks she's a threat, but Jun woo thinks otherwise.
Pairings: Joon woo x reader (romantic), Cha young x reader (platonic), Vincenzo x reader (platonic)
--
I didn't even set foot in my apartment yet and Cha young called me for help. I love her and all but it seems like she's always in trouble with someone. She wants me to meet her at a theater because she wants me to meet someone.
She said it was urgent, so I didn't even stop by for food, so this person better be the President of South Korea or something.
I step out of my vehicle and walk through the entrance to see a swarm of reporters surrounding a group of people. One of those people was Cha young and I spin around on my heel, not in the mood for talking to reporters.
"Y/N!" Cha young calls. "Damn it," I say to myself before turning back around. "You didn't mention there would be reporters," "Surprise," she says.
I shake my head and she shrugs. I look to a random spot outside and say, "Oh my God, is that Jay Park and his new girlfriend? Look over there by the garden!" You point to a random couple that was walking past the garden.
"Jay Park! Where?" The swarm of reporters then went outside towards the garden. I roll my eyes and said, "They're like ants searching for food." I make my way towards the group and Cha young links her arm with mine.
"I missed you," she says and I grumble lowly. "Y/N, this is Vincenzo Cassano. Mr. Cassano, this is my colleague and close freind, Y/N," Cha young introduces.
"Seems like you're far from home, Cassano." I say in Italian, much to his surprise. He raises a brow at me and says, "I could say the same for you. The last I saw you, you were handling business in Siena."
"And you were handling business in Milano. Nice touch with the garden. It was beautiful," I compliment and he smiles. "Thank you, I try."
Cha young looks between me and Cassano and says, "You two know each other?" "Vaguely," I comment. "And who are they?" I add, motioning to the older woman, older man and two young men. "The enemy," Cha young says nonchalantly.
"For enemies, you seem awfully close," "Believe me, we're not," an older woman snaps. "Don't get your panties in a twist. I'm just making an observation." I snark. "Excuse me?" she steps closer to me and Cha young does the same.
"Careful, she hates being touched." Cassano states. "I'm heading back to my loft," I say before giving Cassano and Cha young a nod.
"Who are you?" The older woman asks but there was something about her that urked me. I give her a once over before walking back through the entrance.
--
"She's Y/N Y/L/N, a civil rights investigator and the top in her firm. Not only that, but she has correlations with mafias across three different continents. She has the resources to take us down," Han seo says and a small smile creeps on Joon woo's lips. "Why are you smiling?" Han seo asks.
"She's very accomplished," Jun woo answers. "And it's her accomplishments that scare me, brother." "Don't be. I'll handle her," "Handle her how? Like kill her?" "I don't want to, she seems interesting. But I will if she continues to be a threat to us."
--
I have to get back into the my workouts. I feel like I've put on a little weight while I was in Italy. It's not like I had any choice. Telling Nonna no is like kicking a puppy, no one can do it. Nonna offers you food, you always say yes. That's an unwritten rule that everyone follows.
My sneakers wrap around perfectly around my feet and I could barely feel the ground when I ran through the city park. I always make sure that it was light enough for things to be visible but early enough that there was only a handful of people in the park itself.
I was on my third and final loop when I saw the black van move across the street and park next to the sidewalk I was running on. I stopped to catch my breath for a moment before running in the other direction. I hear a door open and several footsteps run behind me.
I grab the nearest thick branch I could find and wait until they were close enough. I swing the branch as hard as I could, hitting three men in the face. They fell to the ground and I focus on the two guys rushing towards me at once. I duck around one and punched the other in the throat, leaving me with just the one man.
I bring up my guard and shuffle my feet but the man runs in back into the van and drives away. "You okay?" A voice asks from behind me and I feel a hand on my shoulder. I spin around and kick his leg out from under him. He falls to the ground and I apply pressure to his chest.
"Relax. I'm not the bag guy here." He strains. "Wait a minute, I know you. You're the-" "A friend of Cha young." He places his hand on my outter thigh and I say, "I wouldn't know if friend is a term I would use. She called you the enemy."
"She was referring to the rest of them," "What ever helps you sleep at night." I finally stand up from his chest and he takes a deep breath.
He stands up from the ground and that's when I notice that he was shirtless. My eyes softly scan the smooth, tanned skin of his pecks. My eyes snap up to meet his and he cocks his head teasingly.
"Speechless?" "I'll never give you that satisfaction," I snark as he steps closer to me so I have to look straight up just to meet his eyes.
The next thing I knew, I am washing off his touch and scent in the shower. Well trying to anyway. Halfway through my shower, he decided to join me and trail his hands down my hips.
I moan softly when he presses my body the cold tiled wall and kisses my neck. He hooks one of my legs around his waist and slowly trails his hand along my inner thigh.
My phone blades, scaring us both. I pull away from him and he says, "Just ignore it." "She's been calling me all day, she already knows that something is up." I walk out of the shower and dry my feet before wrapping a towel around my body.
I answer the phone and Cha young yells, "About time! Where have you been!" "I, uh, I went shopping. There was no food in my refridgerator or cabinets." I answer calmly.
"Don't you have a maid for that?" "I'm not lazy enough to have a maid, Cha young." "Well, you had me worried. I thought someone took you hostage or something." She finally says without yelling.
"You really think they are capable of that?" "They are capable of many things. Be careful, Y/L/N." Vincenzo says in Italian.
"Bene, ciao," I say before hanging up. I turn around to see Joon woo inches away from my face. "Did you enjoy the past few hours?" I ask. He steps closer to me and motions to the scratches on his chest from my nails.
"What do you think?" He says softly. There's just something about him speaking softly that makes my knees buckle. The worst part is, I think he knows that.
"Good, because that's the last time that'll happen." "Do you know how many times I've heard that? And how many crawled back to me?" He says cockily. "Yes, but I'm sure you'll be the one crawling." I say, tapping his chest before walking out of the bathroom.
--
My worst nightmare came true today. One of my closest friends was murdered last night by a rival mob leader. The boss says not to engage them and that he will handle it, and my anger dwindled down to sadness. I took a day to myself and cried my eyes out in my bed.
Goosebumps littered my body as cold chills rolled through. I wince as the cold, damp fabric of the t-shirt grazes over my warm back and I took it as a sign to hop in the shower. Squatting down on the shower floor, I duck my head under the scalding hot water. The water rakes through my hair and trails down my body when I hear the doorbell ring.
I dry myself and slide on some shorts and a sweatshirt Joon woo gifted me in attempt to see me again. It took Joon woo two weeks before realizing that I wasn't going back to him. After wards, he sent me flowers, teddy bears, sweatshirts and a 10k watch that looked like it costed a fortune.
I gave the teddy bears and flowers to random people in the street and the watch to Cha young and the look on Jun woo's face when he realized it was the gift he gave was aboslutely priceless. But I gladly kept the sweatshirts because they were too cute to give up. I walk down the stairs and wipe away my tears before opening the door.
Joon woo stands in the door way and he looked happy about something. But his smile soon falls when he sees that I've been crying. "You've been crying. What happened?" He tried reaching for my face but I slap his hand away. "Stop. Don't pretend like you care about me." I snap but he lunges forward to grab my face.
I take a few steps back and his hold on my face softens. "Of course, I care about you." He says, caressing my cheeks with his thumbs. He takes my hand and leads me to the bedroom. I sniffle and wipe away more of my tears. I always hated crying in front of people, it made me feel weak.
He grabbed the remote and sat on the bed. He pulled himself to the head of the bed and takes me with him. He pulls me between his legs and leans my back into his chest.
He searches through the channels and stopped at a cartoon before wrapping one arm along the clavicle of my neck. He wraps the other across my waist and says, "You don't have to talk if you don't want to."
"Why are you here, Joon woo?" I croak, wiping away my tears. "We won our settlement case and I wanted to celebrate with you." "We're literally enemies," "Isn't that how it always is? Enemies and polar opposites attracted to each other?" He asks and I look up to meet his gaze from behind.
He examines my face as he waits for a response. "I guess that is how it goes, isn't it " I lean on his shoulder and he presses the side of his face against my temple. "I lost my best friend today," I add with a sigh.

Vincenzo Cassano (Vincenzo) Headcanon | Him as a Boyfriend
Pairing: Vincenzo Cassano / Park Joohyung x Reader
Requested by anon: Can you please write a Vincenzo headcanons? The story line is the same like you did for Paolo but this time for Vincenzo instead?
A/n: i feel a bit behind but i'm really not???? i'm going crazy at this point but i hope this turned out well
Tunes: n/a
Tumblr media
Vincenzo is so incredibly protective of you
From the very start
Even before you two officially start dating
When you’re just seeing each other casually
He’s not letting a single thing happen to you
Not on his watch
The two of you become official shortly before his adoptive father’s passing
And you do manage to meet the man
Only for him to pass a few days later
Paolo makes a threat to Vincenzo during the funeral
The whole attack in the early morning hours happens
Vincenzo blows up Paolo’s car
You to head to Korea
He hadn’t wanted to bring you because he didn’t want to drag you into this nonsense
But leaving you behind in Italy would’ve been more dangerous
And he’s not losing someone he’s just realized he’s in love with you
So Korea
At first he’s got a tight hold on where you can and can’t go
Really only feeling comfortable with you at the plaza
The tenants take a liking to you really quickly
Who wouldn’t tbh
Probably wonder why you’re with Vincenzo cause you’re too sweet and normal for that nutcase of man
If only they knew about the psycho who took an immediate liking to you
Hanseok
Yeah
Maybe Vincenzo was in his right with worry on where you could go
Cause the moment you stepped foot out of the plaza is when this fool set his sights on you
And finding out your Vincenzo’s girl just gives him another reason to want the man dead
But onto the actual boyfriend things
Treats you like a queen
He’s def a gift giver
Cooks for you on occasion
Loves buying you clothes for you to try on for him
But also loves the simple things with you
Once he’s serious
He’s serious
Drives you everywhere
On your beck and call
Never once purposefully makes your angry
In fact he can’t stand having you mad at him
But he’ll bite his tongue sometimes
100% threatens Hanseok’s life if he even thinks about breathing in your direction
