I may actually need Pokémon Sleep. These are adorable

#I mean I only really got UNITE for the “Pokémon wearing clothes” stuff #I wouldn’t be surprised if Quaquaval and Meowscarada sleeping in adorable ways inc standing up and lying down tempted me to get Sleep #I’m curious to see how they’d handle Ceruledge #Armarouge has the same sleeping animation as Quaquaval in SV but Ceruledge sleeps standing up #honestly even more interested to see how they’d handle the Future Paradox Pokémon #while I think most have really good sleeping animations anyway I do kinda wish the Neo Swords would rest #I know it’s what the Swords of Justice do anyway so it makes a lot of sense they’d sleep standing up but still #quaquaval #meowscarada #you may notice I specifically list Quaquaval before Meowscarada and there are a few reasons I do this #the main one is just that I chose Quaquaval in Scarlet and Meowscarada in Violet #(yeah the other two aren’t really reasons as to why I do it just additional justification)#also I associate Falcon with Quaquaval and think it’s a cooler alternative for the equally-likely Blaziken as a potential starter for him #while deciding that if Robert didn’t somehow choose Delphox (I guess if the option isn’t available) he’d have a Meowscarada #and then also I have a Quaxly plush and a Sprigatito plush and I got the Spriggie plush about half a year after I got the Quax plush #(here’s me using the nicknames I gave to my in-game starters for my plushies. I also call my Bulbasaur plushie Bulbie)#pokémon sleep #pokémon #anyway clever that Sleep uses their SV sleeping animations for the 1 star sleeping animations #I’ve admittedly only checked these two and in Quaquaval’s case it was an accident bc I was trying to find its HOME image #also Quaquaval being Fighting and Meowscarada being Dark does that mean Sleep only believes in one type per Pokémon #I’ll be honest I think the Alola and Hisui trios are the only ones I would’ve chosen their secondary types for (def Hisui)

Ok so I had an idea, if it would be fun: designs for the yanderapy boys as Just Desserts versions! Was thinking about the Vargas sweets designs, and that one art style that's out there with the neon candy looking blood/'cute' horror stuff going on, and it became a WHOLE mental image, lol. I feel like there's potential, and I'm not sure if you've already done something like this, but figured I'd put it out there!

Lol #Really though it was a lot of fun to think about what they might be in Just Desserts hehe ♪#Mitsu immediately jumped out to be as an ube roll :D His favourite colour is purple so he likes purple things!#That also includes things like amethysts and quartz and violets but what dessert is purple - ube cake! It's perfect #For Ishida I liked the idea of going for something a bit weirder on the palette and landed on salted lemon #Maybe with a white chocolate secondary but honestly just sweet-and-salty-sour suits him really well haha ♪#His two-tone pants with the lemon spots are probably my favourite he turned out so cute <3 #Honestly both of them were quite fun! :D I like that they have different ''innards'' that are both roundy hehe #One gets a swirl and one gets a natural wheel-spoke look :D It's very cool! They're different but similar #It was fun ♫ Getting to see how they might look in the JD universe especially hehe

Whats YOUR favourite Pokémon :3?

It's a tricky question for me!

My all-time favorite has to be Growlithe. I love the little fire pup.

But ever since I catched a Pawmi in Poco Path I have a weird obsession with the little paldean rat and it's evolutions. Same thing with Clodsire, I got one and suddenly the big round boy became one of my favorite pokémons.

So I think that it's Growlithe, Pawmi and Clodsire! In that order but very, very close to each other.

btw i fucking hate complimentary colours.* no it is not ""science"" or ""colour psychology"" that they compliment and look good together, it is not a """fact"""! No!! They Look Horrific Together Actually! Like they are actually anti-complimentary, like the worst possible colours you could put together!! "complementary colours" my ass they should be called "warning never pair together colours"!!!

Fellas. Spidops is one of the most dissapointing Pokemon of all time.

Paldea has a trio of two stage bug mons. We got Rabsca who is Bug/Psychic, Lokix who is Bug/Dark, and Spidops who is....

Just Bug???? Why not Bug/Fighting? Commit to the Fighting/Psychic/Dark trio for Arceus's sake!

yknow. my sister convinced me to try out the maths class on pokemon scarlet recently. and I really didn't want to because my relationship with maths is awful — and not because I'm bad at it.

but when I selected it and the little cutscenes started, I was so surprised to hear tyme immediately acknowledge that maths can be a rough subject for some people.

I was a bit nervous going into pokemon scarlet because I wasn't sure if I would like the whole "school" thing. I thought it would make it hard to play. but it didn't. and that feels really good.

I think I'll try to get through tyme's classes. I'm hoping that by associating something that's caused me a lot of trouble with something that comforts me no matter what can help me get past the emotional part of maths for me. thanks pokemon

I didn't have to stay there the entire time I could go outside whenever #I wish normal primary/secondary schools were like that. I don't know what sort of school the academy is but yk #I just kept saying to myself I wish this was real. I wish this was real and I wish I went here instead of my old school

Some very interesting things about the Snacksworth Legendaries (plus Meloetta and the DLC-exclusive Proto Beasts and Neo Swords from Perrin’s quest for comparison because I felt like bringing Meloetta up a bit and I of course can’t go a post like this without bringing up the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords (although not Wake and Leaves because they’re event-exclusive rather than DLC-exclusive) according to Bulbapedia:

They’re all caught at level 70 except Kubfu who is caught at level 30. Meloetta is also caught at level 70 while the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords are (fittingly given Wake and Leaves are also caught at that level) caught at level 75

Their Tera types are of course fixed. The Swords of Justice, Eon Duo, Tao Trio and Light Trio all use the type shared in their group (Psychic for the Eon Duo). Everyone else (including others that are part of groups with a shared type) uses a type not matching the rest of their group but still matching one of their own types. The exception here is Lugia, who has the Water Tera type instead of Psychic (or Flying). Groudon also uses a type not matching itself but it gets a pass because it gains the Fire type in its Origin Form. Meloetta gets the Fighting Tera type which thinking about it isn’t as weird as I thought it was because I forgot its Pirouette form exists while the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords just have their primary types as their Tera type

A surprising amount of them don’t have a move matching their Tera type - Groudon, all three members of the Tao Trio, Solgaleo and both of Calyrex’s steeds are missing moves of their Tera types while Lugia’s only Water-type move is the status move Rain Dance. Meloetta is also missing a Fighting-type move but all of the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords have moves to make use of their Tera types

The few with multiple abilities have their main ability

The Swords of Justice are listed on Bulbapedia to be male. I don’t know whether this is someone on Bulbapedia doing something wrong or they’re like Carmine’s Sinistcha and in the data they’re listed as male even though their genders are unknown. Kubfu on the other hand is not listed with a gender so I’m assuming its gender is random (with the 7 in 8 chance of being male)
