this may or may not be half a rant. but. okay. okay. i made a post like this before, but i kinda wanted to detail it a little more as i've seen posts like these popping up, but made by english people.

so i'm gonna make one about being scottish for non scots and how to more accurately portray soap as scottish. this is probably mostly aimed at people from tiktok, so feel free to share it around. this is also educational as well as light-hearted and is meant to be taken as such, don't get offended or just be fr

1.) okay, i'm gonna start off by saying... some of these unintentional(or intentional) stereotypes are fucking mind blowing. i'm not one to necessarily get offended by things like this, but i think it's worth mentioning. not all of us play bagpipes, or run around wearing kilts... or - for the love of god - RUN AROUND SCREAMING "SCOTLAND FOREVER." honestly..... it's so odd? i know you would be heavily offended if i called you a fat american, but really what's the difference?

(also the scotland forever is so cringe. i've never in my entire life heard anyone from this country say that)

2.) since i don't think there's any canon of where soap was specifically brought up in scotland(city-wise), i'll have to go off accents and his voice actor for this point. which is alright with me, because scottish accents can be very easily identified.

a lot like the english, scottish people can have MANY varying accents, and a lot of varying phrases. for example, someone down in ayrshire might say "i ken" instead of "i know" whereas people from glasgow usually wouldn't. you catch me?

...now, soap. soap would not go around saying certain phrases. from what i hear, he sounds glaswegian/edinburgh, which is east/west of scotland. the tiniest... TINIEST... bit of research will unveil a plethora of things that people from there would actually say.

aye/yes, naw/no, cannae/cant, could'nae/couldn't, fizzy drink/soda, how/why(this one is weird)..... that's an extremely small portion but you get the point. the scots talk EXTREMELY different than americans do, we have new words for almost everything.

and, before i lose my mind, PLEASE STOP HAVING SOAP REFER TO HIS MOTHER AS MOM. thank you.

3.) the general cringe. i've literally seen people say he would refer to himself as a big scotty boy. no one in scottish history has ever referred to themselves as that unironically. ever. again, circling back to the similarities between the english and scottish, we both have very sarcastic/edgy/cynical humour. ours won't be the same as the americans. our definition of sarcasm differs from yours. headcanons are fine, sometimes, but it's so out of character most of the time if you aren't from the country. bro would NOT spend his free time listening to lana del rey but don't let that stop you from saying he would LMAO

4.) we don't call ourselves british. i mean, some of us do(if yer a bastartin tory x), but most of us will literally get offended if you call us british. we'd all just much rather call ourselves scottish. don't ask me why.

5.) also! please educate yourself on how to properly use scottish slang. the amount of things that just genuinely do not make sense is appalling. it takes two seconds. also my dms are always open... feel free to ask a literal glaswegian lass. context also matters. if you don't know what you mean, just shut the fuck up x

but he was very quickly humbled.

when it came to the actual arm wrestle challenge, his confidence shrank as you very quickly beat him. his eyes grew wide in awe and confusion whilst you stayed silent and grinned in response.

"what the-" he whispered, not believing the situation. "have you been getting tips from jongho?"

san found a lot of positives in the fact that your personality was quite similar to his roommate, yunho's personality. but there were a few things that he didn't perhaps like.

"come on guys," he whined, "that's literally the 5th game we've lost. neither of you are trying."

because you liked playing video games too, san invited you to play with him and yunho. which backfired, tremendously.

you and yunho were definitely not taking the game seriously at all. both of you were in a state of delirium by how much you were laughing at your ridiculously bad and chaotic playing.

"we're just playing sannie~" you said cutely and gave him a little smooch on the cheek after seeing his pout grow. your competitive boyfriend was not impressed!

as the maknae, jongho was simply used to being pampered and taken care of by the other members, especially by seonghwa. and not by choice. jongho is actually a very independent person who likes others relying on him, instead of the other way around.

but when it came to you, he didn't mind at all.

"have you got your lunch?" you asked as jongho was getting ready to leave. "yep," he smiled, patting his bag where his lunch. you went over to him to adjust his tie for him. meanwhile, seonghwa watched on, quite appalled and offended.

"hey! you don't like it when i help you with stuff," seonghwa complained accusingly at jongho, who didn't even look in his direction.

"yeah it's because you're annoying when you do it," jongho teased his older friend before giving you a kiss on the cheek as a thank you.

PJO- Some Show Recommendations for the showrunners if s2 is greenlit

Season 1 was kinda...boring? Honestly, that is the last thing I expected a PJO adaptation to be. The books aren't perfect, but they are fun! There is friendship, adventure, humour, all while still the characters grapple with some pretty serious stuff. The show (except for the first two episodes and the finale) feels stiff.

Show is too exposition-y, the pacing is off and it of course breaks the cardinal rule of show- don't -tell.

Thankfully, the concerns are easily remedied. Coming of age stories are a dime and dozen, and I think that the showrunners could actually learn from the TV shows and movies of past. So, I compiled some recommendations for them :) Read on if extensive analysis is your thing :)

Buffy The Vampire Slayer- Honestly, this is theee coming of age story. It follows Buffy (the chosen one), as she navigates high school, college and eventually adulthood, along with slaying vampires. And instead of a sullen main character, we as an audience are treated to a sassy, take-no-prisoners variant of the chosen one trope. There are so many similarities between Percy and Buffy- both are loyal to a fault, sarcastic and stubborn. They understand that they cannot escape their respective destinies, but they'll be damned if they don't see things through their own way. Both are brave to a fault, and adore their found families. The writers could take some inspiration from BTVS and Buffy's character arc (to an extent). Bonus- BTVS has great examples of melding humour in serious situations.

2. Mission Impossible Series- This one might be a bit controversial, but hear me out. I know most people consider the MI films popcorn flicks-and they are- but most the movies in the series are paced excellently. There is a sense of urgency in MI films- which was severely lacking in the PJO show. Have a deadline, let me feel anxious for these kids.

MI also has some excellent action scenes. And before you say, well PJO is not an action series, I would like to say that I agree- but the beauty of adaptating something is that you get to change things. Well paced action sequences, even if they are about a minute or so, are necessary break up the exposition dumps. It breaks the monotony. It makes you feel afraid for these kids, who are running from one dangerous situation/monster to another.

3. Dune (2023)- Thematically, Dune is vastly different from PJO. I am including it in this list for several reasons- editing, cinematography world building and sound editing.

To put it bluntly, I don't feel connected to the world of the PJO series at all- which is a shame because it is an incredible world! Greek mythological creatures co-existing with the modern world! Modern myths! Greek gods!. But it is all introduced in the most boring, exposition-y way possible.

The cinematography doesn't shine until the last episode. I want interesting shots, fluid camera movements- just anything that breaks the monotony of scenes. For example- I loved Poseidon's introduction, why wasn't this type of cinematography present in the rest of the series. Shoot the gods differently, make use of different camera compositions. Experiment a little for god's sake.

Coming to sound, yeah this one was the most disappointing of all. There are no memorable sound motifs, which is a shame because sound can convey so much more than words in certain scenes. I say Harry Potter music and you instantly think about the charcteristic symphony. This is missing sorely in the tv show.

Sidenote- I would have chosen Nathan Barr as the music composer (missed opportunity Disney). Look up his work, and you'll understand why I said this.

Coming to editing, yeah the editing is clunky at best. That is all I have to say about that for the moment.

Is there also a source for the other quote where he says that Liam has always loved him and loves him even more now than when Noel was in Oasis?

Anyway, we could put this comment down to Noel being sarcastic and/or a massive cunt. Which he is.

But there is sarcasm and dry humour, and then there is saying that your brother is deeply in love with you. Twice. As if that wasn't a punchy enough statement to make, Noel pushes it further by saying his brother is upset about the fact that he is deeply in love with him.

Had he left it at the first one, we might have been able to file it under 'batshit crazy things Noel says' albeit with a distinct sense of 'that's not how brothers should talk about one another'. But drawing attention to Liam being very, very upset by it was extra. It hints at something else beneath the humorous surface. Even if it's not true, this is something that Noel had in his head? For how long? It's tempting to reflect on Oasis history and how the band ended, beyond the usual power struggles.

I mean, those two weaponising the fears and insecurities of each other is nothing new, but weaponising romantic attraction in your brotherly power struggle is not normal no matter how it’s spun.

If it's not true that Liam was in love with Noel, the fact that he used a universal taboo against Liam is a worryingly disturbed head space for Noel to have been in. If it is true, then it's almost worse, because Noel was hurting Liam in the cruellest way, not by exposing Liam's fears or insecurities, but by exposing his love.

Whatever the case, his comment strongly suggests romantic attraction was either at play or threatening to be, for one or both of them. After all, you don't just pull 'incest' out of your sarcasm and dry humour arsenal.

Oddly, when he was asked on twitter if it was true (since made private) Liam didn't exactly deny it. He could have said Noel was full of shit like he usually does, but he didn't. And there could be no mistaking the nature of the question/statement.

I'm not saying this proves that they had a sexual relationship or that they desired one another in a sexual way - it doesn't - but it does indicate that their relationship was much more complicated than most Oasis fans would care to admit. And when you contextualise this quote with the vast library of similar quotes, song lyrics, all the video clips, the multiple photos of them kissing, it's not a stretch to say that something else was going on, at least on an emotional level.

Fauchelevant cares for everyone and everything to a degree, so you are not terribly unique in that regard. As a potential gift idea, perhaps a new coat for both M. Fauchelevant and yourself in a similar style with different colour schemes! His clothes are well-worn as you have said (as are yours), and maybe such a gift would be enough to convince him to stop wearing that lurid yellow coat. For example, consider getting him something in the hexadecimal color code #24601e instead. And I cannot stress the benefits of good tailoring: imagine him in a well-fitted coat that accentuates the musculature of his arms and breadth of his shoulders?… Clearly you have observed the man closely enough to have some idea of what his measurements are according to your detailed description of him.

I'm bisexual and I use she/her. I'm an ambivert. For those who don't know me very well, I may appear calm, collected and polite, but when I get close with someone, that's when my true personality comes out; I'm very sarcastic and sassy, especially if someone gets on my nerves. When I'm with my friends, I like to joke around, engage in playful banter with them, even often affectionately insult them (if that makes sense). I also love to tease and I don't mind being teased back. I also tend to curse like a sailor lol. But my friends say that I'm also thoughtful, open and understanding. I can be very patient and gentle as well if I want too.As for my style, I usually dress in all black (fun fact: I never wear skirts though, I despise them) and I love silver jewelry. I always have a silver ring on each finger or both hands (without them I feel almost naked) and usually snake or dragon-themed silver earrings.

My main hobbies and interests are: listening to music (I can't live without it), lately I've been listening mostly to any rock or metal type of music or similar (for example I love bands such as Ghost and Nickelback). Besides that, I also love to draw, read, and travel. Sometimes I also like to play or do some sports (I've been a horse rider since I was seven and I love swimming). But I also like to just sit on the couch and watch movies (preferably with friends).

Hello, and congrats on being the first requester for my matchups! First and foremost, I got very excited over this because you said you listen to Ghost – they’re my favorite group! But with that out all the way, I sincerely hope you’re up to date with technology, because I match you with...

Vox!

Vox is the charismatic, if not somewhat self-centered,  owner and CEO of VoxTek as we all surely know here. The first thing that I’d like to note here is that he loves any kind of attention, and that you seem to be quite the attention-giver, given that two of your main love languages are physical touch and gift-giving. He likes to show off your relationship by casually draping an arm over your shoulder each time you lean into him, and by keeping all of your little gifts on his desk as he works.

I find that your personalities are a good match for each other, because you sound like you could stand your ground very well to his snarky remarks. He obviously can hold his own as well, which often results in the playful banter that you know and love.

Your more patient and gentle side is also important here, because it takes a very patient person to stand him and how egotistical he is sometimes; he’ll see no problem with it at first, but you need to give him time while also standing your ground as I said earlier. He’ll quickly realize that you’re truly one of a kind for sticking around, and that is how I imagine that you two would decide on starting a romantic relationship with each other.

You mentioned that you like watching movies with your friends; how about watching them with your boyfriend, as he plays them on his TV-screen head? He plays movies, videos, music videos, anything that you’d like to watch! There might be a downside to this, which is that he likes to comment on anything and everything – if he doesn’t like what you’re watching, he will let you know with a groan and will even speak over whatever you’re watching to point out how boring it is for him. But, in the end, he loves you, so he will play it all either way.

He slowly takes interest in your other hobbies as well; since you like drawing, it will basically inflate his ego if once in a while you make a little portrait of him! And he’d surely enjoy a good vacation once in a while (well, whatever that means in Hell), so as long as it’s something relaxing and not at all chaotic he will follow you along in your travels, too.

I feel like you and Vox would be the aesthetically pleasing to look at couple; imagine him, dressed in one of his dark blue suits, and you, wearing something black and elegant. He doesn’t mind that you don’t like wearing skirts, I feel like he doesn’t really have a preference for how his partner would need to dress, in fact he’ll accept anything that comes with dating you as long as you can stand the more difficult sides of his personality, he’s grateful for that already even if he might not admit it.

I have a bit of an interesting question.

It’s clear on what Pac’s chemistry is with his two bestest buddies, Spiral and Cylindria. And while they’re both awesome pals to the Yellow Fellow, I always pondered about the Ghost Gang chemistry with Pac, since we never really get that much screen time to them bond all together. I found their friendship to be more interesting, cause this was the first time in the entire franchise where they actually became friends and it would be rather intriguing to see more of Pacster hanging out with his four ghostly companions. Seeing what it’s like whenever he’s not hanging out with Cyli or Spiral, but with Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde instead.

With all said, how would you view Pac-Man’s relationship with each individual member of the Ghost Gang?

Interesting question indeed!

I agree that it would've been intriguing to see how Pac's relations would develop with the Ghost Gang were they given a chance to build deeper bonds. I'd imagine they'd interact enough to the point where Pac would consider them part of his friend circle. Perhaps to the point where the Gang interacts with Cyli and Spiral enough that they all become close pals too (or at least as close as Cyli and Pinky can get to being friends XD).

Anyways, for your question, here's how I view Pac's relationship with each individual member of the Ghost Gang:

Blinky - With time, I think Pac would come to have a lot of respect for Blinky. He mentored them on the basics of Pac-Fu, and through that Pac got to see a more mature side of Blinky that was never really shown before. Blinky also showed a generous amount of patience with Pac when he struggled in getting the hang of Pac-fu, something that I think Pac really appreciated in the long-run. That being said, Blinky still retains some child-like/rebellious qualities. So I think canonically Pac would see Blinky as the one that's the most 'mature' out of the Gang, but one that's still capable of having some fun. Had the Gang been given more time to bond with everyone, then I think Pac would come to see Blinky as a mentor in many aspects, perhaps even outside of Pac-Fu.

Inky - Inky tends to be sarcastic and snarky, sometimes even towards Pac. While this could rub Pac off the wrong way, I think it's safe to say that Pac himself has had his moments where he's made sarcastic or snarky remarks about something - at least of less intensity compared to Inky. So while Pac is still a chirpy and amiable guy, he has moments where his blunt self comes out a bit more, and I think on that basis Pac and Inky could relate with each other on some level, perhaps forging a friendship where the two share the same sense of humour (but on a very tiny scale). Canonically, I think Pac doesn't think much of Inky other than the blue ghost generally being sarcastic and satirical, but since Inky has helped Pac out on many occasions along with the Gang, Pac still sees Inky as a good accomplice and appreciates his efforts. Were they to have stronger friendships then I can totally see these two teaming up with Blinky and Spiral to go on food heists lol.

Clyde - Canonically, I think Pac sees Clyde in a similar light to Inky, where Pac appreciates their efforts to help him out and collectively sees them all as close allies. Clyde has been shown to be quite knowledgeable, which has helped Pac out in a few pinches, but other than that, Pac and Clyde don't interact directly enough to really give us a full scope of their relationship. So, if given the chance to bond, I'd love to think that Pac comes to discover that there's more to Clyde than meets the eye. Since he can speak several languages, he could be a walking encyclopaedia with a love for books, an interest he'd share with Pac. Clyde also gives off Supportive Relative vibes, so maybe Pac would come to see Clyde as someone he could share some of his troubles with and Clyde would gladly listen and offer advice.

Pinky - Oh boy, where to start? XD I think a large part of their relationship is just Pac being confused on how to handle Pinky's crush and doting affections toward him. In the beginning he seemed a little clueless when it comes to romance, sometime later he seemed bashful and nervous whenever she showed affection, and eventually we got an episode whose entire subplot is Pac running away and trying to avoid Pinky at all costs (The Bride of Grinder). Being a young teenage boy who probably never entertained the idea of being in a relationship with anyone, he probably felt very confused about Pinky. As time went by and he could give it some more thought, maybe he felt flattered that someone would see him that way, but his own feelings on the matter were still a bit uncertain. There might have been a period where he tried to figure out internally whether or not he reciprocated those feelings, and came to the point where he realised that he doesn't really feel the same way about Pinky as she does about him. (This is just a hunch. I've been in Pac's position before where I had to figure out how I felt about a boy who had a big crush on me, and I went through the same internal confusion as Pac could've gone through, where I eventually came down to the realisation that I didn't reciprocate those feelings.) So, as their relationship stands, I think Pac sees Pinky as a really good friend who has helped them get out of really tight situations, but he doesn't feel as strongly about her as she does about him.

i don’t think it’s such a contradiction at all, actually! i personally see sirius as this: a guy with a lot of masks, partially bc it’s been trained into him & partially bc he’s had to be. and i think he defaults to this cold, arrogant one because it’s the one he’s had longest—but around the right people, it fully melts away. the marauders and lily, yes but especially james and harry. that’s why i keep mentioning the outsider pov of it, people getting shocked when they see the difference in his behaviour. it’s why i wrote the patronus fic lolol.

Five is not real and that's a biiiigggg point in his favour. You will idealise him to the point that no real man could ever match up. Imagine a man saying that some super smart and sexy anime girl was his standard for IRL women. We'd rightly tell him that it was an unfair expectation.

If Five was a real flesh and blood man, tied to corporeal form and subject to the curse of existence, I promise you he would not live up to the standards set by the Five in your head. The truth is, Five can never fart on you in bed. He can never have that really irritating habit that makes you want to punt him through a wall, and he will never accidentally hurt you with a clumsy word or leave the dishes in the sink or whatever. He'll never criticise you for any of your bad habits either. Real men do all those things because they're human. They deserve your love and consideration. Don't hold out for a fantasy.

We romanticize Five partly because he is an asshole. His sarcasm is amusing and acerbic tongue is attractive, mostly because we know there's tenderness underneath it. We have a uniquely intimate insight into his life, past and personality by virtue of him being a fictional character who we have seen when he thinks nobody is watching. We don't have that with real men. Romanticising assholes is something patriarchy has taught us. Just look at the Beauty and the Beast myth that replays itself in our culture again and again ("I can change him! He's different when we're alone, I swear!"). We like to imagine that Five would begin by being a dick to us like he does everyone else, but gradually we would end up being the special person who would bring out all the tenderness we know he has underneath. This is fine when it's a fictional character who we know for sure has all that tenderness underneath, but with a real man whose soul we can never know like we know Five's? No way. I can promise you that you should run a mile from a real man who sarcastically insults people and use their intelligence to put others down. A similar point to Five's violence. This is a character trait you should not excuse in real men. In real life, men who are violent to others will almost certainly be violent to their romantic partners. This is another bonus Five gets for being fictional: he lives in a fictional reality where his violence is justified and nbd because it's a world of comic-book morality.

Having said all this, I think Five does have some qualities you can admire in IRL men. I've said on this blog many times before that I think I find Five hot because he reminds me of my partner in terms of personality as well as looks. So this is what I think you wouldn't be unwise to look for in a man: 1. Someone with intelligence and competence. There is nothing sexier than someone who has faith in their own abilities and wields that knowledge with confidence, like Five does.

2. Someone with leadership skills without needing to dominate: Five sometimes falls foul of the latter but is usually pretty good at taking control of a situation whilst also hearing everyone out and using the knowledge of the entire room.

3. Someone with a sense of humour. Five's cynical little comments and charming phraseologies (e.g. "Chatty Cathies," "A nap and a schvitz, what more does a man need?") would be adorable in any man.

4. Someone with a mature outlook. Five is just happy living a comfortable life. He likes his creature comforts but he takes pleasure in the simple things. He isn't really competitive anymore because he truly doesn't feel like he has to prove anything. This is partly a result of his age, I think, so I would forgive a younger man for not having this outlook.

5. Someone who cares about his appearance: Five isn't vain, but he dresses carefully and intentionally for the occasion. It not only looks sexy, it shows that he has self-respect.

6. Someone who speaks to you the way Five speaks to Dolores: Five treats his (ex)partner with respect and fondness. He clearly worshipped Dolores when they were together but he didn't patronise her either. He spoke to her like an equal. And after the relationship ended, he never let anybody speak badly about her.

Compton Boole Personality Theory (Psychonauts 2)

HERE IT IS. COMPTON BOOLE PERSONALITY THEORY IS HERE AT LAST. I would like to begin with the fact that this theory uses evidence that is proposed from a different theory I have written: the Psychonauts 2 music theory. I will link this at the bottom of the post.

Compton Boole Personality theory. Allow me to propose a theory regarding beloved Psychonaut character Compton Boole. Throughout the events of Psychonauts 2, we weren't exposed to much of Compton Boole's personality, as he was ridden with anxiety and was unable to act how he naturally would. We got hints of his true personality through his actions and memories of him in collective memory reels. But have we been exposed to a hidden part of his personality obscured and dismissed by his surface level kindness? What might Compton have been like in the past, or if he could act without trying to protect himself the way he has? To begin, after completing videogame Psychonauts 2, we have access to speak to all the characters in the game post completion. When speaking to him post game, Compton jokes about eating goats. How funny. This is clearly a form of dark humour. This sort of manner of speaking would not resurge itself suddenly for no reason. This fact proves that Compton has a history of telling and communicating with dark humour. Additionally, when speaking to Compton for the first time in the game's story, and quitting his conversation after asking for help with the mole, Compton gives a sarcastic remark, saying "tsk, if you say so" (I actually forgot exactly what he says but it's ALONG THE LINES). Secondly, according to Psychonauts 2 Music Theory (Sad Mission), the genres of music in levels and inside minds correspond to the character's previous exposure or history with the genre of music. Through the level Compton's Cookoff, it is understandable and believable how Compton may have been exposed to old game show music through his upbringing, leading him to manifest similar music to cover the theme of Ram it Down. However, the interest lies during the end of Compton's Cookoff. During the boss of the level, the level plays music that can confidently be categorized in the genre of Metal. Music in a level can correspond to a character's history, prior exposure, or sentimentality. Music would not resurge due to prior exposure from exposure alone, because the goats themselves have no connection to metal as a genre to begin with, so you can discount that as reason for the music. The connection of history is used only when a setting highlights the setting's past, without any purposeful inclination to the genre. Because the boss fight is not a peer into Compton's past, we can discount that as a reason for the genre. I believe the music on the boss fight is metal because of sentimentality. I believe I can confidently conclude this shows that Compton Does, or more likely Used to listen to metal. Lastly, Compton's favourite colour is purple, and purple is an edgy colour. This is no debate. I conclude this because, in his isolation (or past), Compton Boole sat down and LEARNED how to make his teleport all pretty. nobody else has done this!! ONLY COMPTON, presumably during all the time he spent in ompton jail, and made it purple. Additionally, the walls of his cell are bright purple-pink (magenta), a colour I believe only an enjoyer of the colour purple would not go insane looking at. He is a purple man I sense it. On the same note, he has purposely trained himself to ornate his teleportation ability with a crt-esque / glitch effect.

Tagging in after this was published for a small addition to the EVIDENCE of this. I keep replaying the game and I keep my full trust in this theory. This is super small and weak, but just the plethora of early images of Compton with smug expressions. Love you man stay strong #girlsforever

According to my three (now four) pieces of evidence, his use of dark humour and sarcasm, Compton's history of being a listener of metal, and a like for purple, the edgiest colour, and his edgy teleport effect, I can conclude that Compton Boole is edgy. Compton Boole is not as single faceted as his simple, kind, and caring facade leads you to believe. That he infact has a side to some of his true tastes hidden beyond the surface level. I think my only specific "type" where like my friends know I'm gonna fancy someone before I even meet them is like, tall, dark kinda scruffy hair, looks like they could be in a band.

But if we're going to go more in depth, I'm mostly drawn to personality and have to have been friends with someone for awhile before I can actually imagine being intimate or even affectionate with someone (like for as much as I talk about work crush being pretty and making me blush, I don't actually know him so the thought of anything happening makes me feel icky haha)

But personalitywise I'd say they need to have like, sarcastic but also silly humour, like dry but also able to dad joke, like kinda playful too. Very caring/empathetic, nurturing, quite like calm/chill. I think like someone really dependable that likes to take care of people? Obvs I like it if we have similar interests like similar tastes in films (I guess horror and like Cohen brothers movies, Ghibli films haha) similar taste in music (not hard cause I like most music) and also like, I like it when they read books haha.

I've loved Plane from the moment I started watching this season, but the more time that passes, the more endeared I become by her.

Like, it's not even her drag style that gets me — and that's not me dissing her drag style cause I really like her drag even though it's not what I usually gravitate towards! I think that everyone is misinterpreting Matty based on only seeing snippets of what he has said out of context. He has a super sarcastic sense of humour and he often says things that he actually means the opposite of to point out how absurd they are/make political points. Listen to the lyrics of songs like love it if we made it. He also has various different personas that he plays up while performing for the art. I think him and Taylor would actually have really similar views about art and be really compatible in that way.

If you watch any of his recent interviews like his most recent Zane Lowe interview he is actually really down to earth and self aware and not pretentious. He also has grown a lot and is in a healthier place than years ago and the latest album and interview reflect that.

Regardless of all of that and whatever has been going on between Matty and Taylor via text while they’ve both been on tour, we know for a fact that they both would be aware of the headlines/rumours this week and I think that him getting on a plane for 20 hours and going straight to the concert is actually a nice declaration that he doesn’t care about the rumours and just wants to see her/be there for her and doesn’t care if people know about it. That makes me happy for Taylor. Let her enjoy someone appreciating her, regardless of whether it lasts or not.

i am a 21 year old intj 1w9. i'm 5'8 with brown hair (plus some highlights), brown eyes and skin that lightens in the cooler months and tans in the summer.

personality-wise i'm meticulous about structure, keeping organised etc and like to make sure i have multiple different plans in place for everything but if it comes down to it i can make sound decisions if i have to improvise and be spontaneous. i grew up as the only child so i'm used to figuring things out on my own and i generally have a stiff upper lip that obliges me to stay independent (no agonising personal lore or anything it's just the way i am). i have a somewhat sarcastic sense of humour and can warm up to people and enjoy banter easily and i like to think i have jokes 😌✨ but i'm an introvert who recharges by spending time on my own. i consider myself to be fairly efficient and one of my favourite things in the world is the feeling of contentment at the end of a productive day.

i do quite a few sports, incl. track and field, clay target shooting, sailing, golf, tennis, baseball and basketball. my hobbies include reading and writing (the given ones considering we are all here), backpacking, playing the guitar, learning new random skills, going out for walks/jogs while listening to music, beating friends who don't know how to play chess at chess and the occasional pub crawl. i sometimes sing but i have very limited range.

Okay the second I read this I knew I was going to match you with Ron. Either him or Lewis, but I can see so many similarities between the two of you.

first of all I feel like your features being a similar colour would make you look so good together. Ron is fairly tall himself, I’m assuming around 6ft, so he’d still be taller than you.

I feel like he’d be a lover of your height, I’m assuming you have long legs and he’d fine that superrrrr sexy, like he has to try his best not to check you out during PT sessions.

I feel like Ron would first see you when you’re jogging or on a run, maybe training or doing Currahee. Yep I’m in the camp that Harry and Louis’ personalities are more similar than people think too. Think people just see Harry in Gucci and Louis in a tracksuit, Louis smoking and Harry not (publicly anyway that’s not for a movie) and think yep too different. They both have quite a sarcastic sense of humour, like to joke make someone laugh and tease/call people out. Than say Zayn who was normally quite quiet in interviews.

They both obviously love HOME (duh) and family and have the same meaning of measuring success, football, where they come from, amongst others things we don’t even know about.
