#we keep forgetting how currency works like all the time
Text
dnd stuff
today while playing dnd my friends characters and my character had gotten a sum of gold after playing their instruments for money; but we had 28 gold which was supposed to be evenly distributed throughout our 3 person party. we had our characters play rock paper scissors for the extra coin and out of character we told each other what we were going to pick, my friend picking paper and my other friend and i picking scissors, but in character when we played rock paper scissors one friends picked paper and the other rock, while i stayed with scissors. my character ended up winning the bet and i had gotten the extra coin. out of character we were laughing about it when i realized the reason i'd won was because i had stayed true to my word, which was actually very in character for me (my character doesn't like lying or not keeping promises that dragon-born paladin trauma gets to you i suppose). because i stuck to scissors and didn't switch, i ended up getting the coin. i was freaking out about this mid-campaign and i was like "omg that's so silly!!!!!!!" and i think it is in fact, silly

Welcome to my shop!
We have a lot of trinkets, tools, and pets! We can also have some things custom-made for you, if you'd like. Our door is always open, and we welcome anyone. Even if you don't buy anything.
The currency is coins, but we are willing to negotiate. We will often take items needed for crafting and such as payment.
Items:
We have cloaks of camouflage, which shift color to blend in to your surroundings.
We've got the lighthearted potions. A powder to make a person rhyme for a few hours, a candy that gives them a high voice for a day or two, and the kaleidoscope glasses cleaner. Makes em see everything like a kaleidoscope, obviously.
We've got the ones that alter emotions. Buy 2, get one free! Or you can mix and match to your heart's desire.
How about the soaps? One makes it so you never have to bathe again, it'll keep you clean. Another one makes mosquitoes terrified of you. Permanently.
Or there's the arm-band that gives you an outfit that morphs into whatever you deem fitting for the occasion.
As for the armband, I recommend wearing clothes underneath, just in case it malfunctions. Just leggings and a t-shirt. I've had angry customers wanting refunds and they were a pain in the knuckles.
Also, a pill that makes you not a loser. I take it daily. I don't think it's too effective.
There's the leaf crown that gives you the ability to photosynthesize... but your eyes will turn green while you're wearing it. Which isn't the worst of things. Green eyes are pretty.
There's a thermometer, it measures figurative warmth and cold.
We've got the magnet from the Shaggy Man in the Wizard of Oz. Makes people love you. Honestly, I think all the love potions are overrated.
We've also got bracelets with attachable charms including but not limited to: charisma, intelligence, stamina, strength, speed, stealth, wit, etc.
There is also a pocketknife that can never be lost, a notepad that takes notes for you, and a book that changes its story every time you finish it.
A pair of hair-pieces. You exchange it with a person, and it allows controlled, consensual telepathic communication. The simple ones are a button apeice. The multi-dimensional ones cost a seashell for a pair, but if you get the multiple dimension ones, I can offer you a discount.
We have nail polish that can turn your fingernails into claws that can cut through metal.
We've also got earrings that give you controlled selective hearing. And yes, we also carry the magnetic kind.
Pets:
Some new items!
Bags, that when you put something into it, it does not have any weight. Great for traveling.
Little metal beetles that can be programmed to detect almost anything you'd like; such as water, warmth, certain types of plants, or even tracking animals.
Mirrors that show not physical appearance, but personality.
Hourglasses that measure the time until your next sneeze.
Candles. You can put a memory you want to forget into them, and then when it burns out, the memory will be gone.
Fish eggs. They're for fish about the size of a minnow, but you can use them to relay messages. They whisper in your ear. And all of the species have a hive mind, so you could use them to spy.
Well, the fish, we've also got birds. The parakeets will pretty much do what you tell them to. They're smarter than most. We've got the axolotls, they basically just look cute and question everything you do. Our crabs are crabby, our frogs can make it rain, toads will selectively eat the bugs you don't like, and turtles are pretty wise. The squirrels are excellent trackers, and can find almost anything. But they'll never shut up.
We're not supposed to sell the hawks because they have an extremely keen sense of justice, and have injured their owners for being prejudiced or unjust. If I made an exception, you'd have to raise it from a fledgling, to raise it loyal to you.
We are currently working on getting larger animals. Ferrets coming soon!
You'd have to sigh a waiver for that though.
Some new pets!
Monkeys! They're pretty awesome. No magical abilities, but quite well behaved and very fun to spend time with. But they need a lot of enrichment.
Glow worms that can read books to you.
Caribou. Very friendly and great emotional support.
Hummingbirds. They bring better luck.
Sloths. They sleep so you don't have to. This is literal. If you let them sleep, you will not need sleep.
Employees:
If you're interested in buying something from my shop, feel welcome to come in! Speak to one of these people if you want to buy something, or have something custom made.
Firefly: Troubled past, silly, easy to please, cares deeply about people and is a fierce fighter. Gone most of the time on quests and such.
Tumblr media
Ohtacaro: Quiet, smart, stereotypical ninja, has a cat named Randir. He and Otsi'stia have a sign language that they came up with for private conversations.
Tumblr media
Otsi'stia: She is clever, practical, and the twin sister of Ohtacaro. She is less withdrawn than he is, but usually won't start a conversation for no reason. Hates small talk. Will get straight to the point.
Tumblr media
Hotaru: Cheerful, hyper, enthusiastic. She's innocent and loves everyone. She just wants to help people. She is easily fascinated by little things. Especially koi fish.
Tumblr media
Jon: Has a sense of humor, charming, and loves books. He is good at planning and dealing with people. He won't take abuse, and won't let you abuse his friends, either. He hates it when things get awkward.
Tumblr media
Rena: A little bit bossy. She can be a grouch. You do NOT want to get on her bad side. But the number one way to get on her bad side is to be mean to Hotaru. She goes on runs to clear her head, and is currently taking anger management courses, because Jon and Lilian made her do it.
Tumblr media
Lilian: The comforting, motherly one. She'll probably invite you in for a cup of tea, or babysit your pets or children or irresponsible friends. She wants you to be okay. She usually has calming music playing in the background, and she can be really poetic when she wants to be.
Tumblr media
Soraya: The mechanic/scientist/inventor. Not a great fan of eye contact. Shy, as in, almost never speaks to anyone. Has her own space to work in, and stays there most of the time, but often goes to the library, or to the abandoned lot to test things out. She is extremely intelligent and a problem solver.

The Abode
A kayn (lol) x reader fanfic part 2 master list
You were bored out of your mind. For the past month you had spent on the Abode you had learned every skill in a matter of hours, from knitting to knife throwing and now there was nothing else for you to do, not even going to the beach could entertain you anymore, a city could be entertaining but there was the small issue of you not only not having money but also not even knowing what the currency was, still, that was much better than roting in the couch.
As you walked closer to the door you were making up a schedule, first you would walk along the beach, then admire the sunset like always and later you would go into the nearest city and if the stars were in your favor that night, catch the attention of someone and have them pay for your dinner, easy enough. You walked outside in the direction of the coast and took off your shoes as you walked on the wet sand, the sound of the waves crashing still lulling you into a comfortable state of relaxation, you were so peaceful in this environment that you could close your eyes and trust that you would be okay, until you heard footsteps and the clashing of something accompanied by grunts and battle cries, now you missed being bored. You stopped dead on your track and opened your eyes, there he was again, Kayn was fighting someone and neither of them could keep quiet about it, that was good however, because it meant that you could walk away without them noticing.
—Hey, healer!
Of course things could never go right with you, still you hoped that maybe he was talking to someone else or maybe the guy he was fighting was named Healer. Curiosity got the best of you and when you looked back the poor guy was dead or in the process of dying and the killer, Kayn, was walking up to you, so like any sane person would you started running and like the insane person he was he chased you and God he was fast, so fast in fact that in no time he cached up to you and pulled your arm, throwing you to the ground on the process.
—You thought you could escape me?—he teased while offering you a hand, you didn't accept it though and claimed your spot in the sand.
—We agreed we wouldn't see each other again—you eyed him up and down—and you don't seem hurt either—he laughed at your comment, you took great offence to that.
—You helped me and didn't charge me for it, it would be rude of me not to at least thank you.
—Lucky for you I believe in public health care—you retorted as your stood and patted the sand off your clothes, once again he laughed at your comment.
—Come on, allow me to repay you, how does dinner sound?—yet again he offered you his hand.
Somehow your plan had worked out, you walked on the beach, watched the sunset and now someone was buying you dinner, you just wished it wasn't him, you were starting to get hungry though and you felt like eating out.
—Fine—that was all you said and made it clear that you would not take his hand—but wash yourself at least, you're full of blood.
He did what you told him, and like this was a beach scene in a teenage movie he cleaned himself with the sea water, allowing for droplets to drip down his muscles and features as the water somehow seemed to reflect the light of the moon better than any other night you had spent in the beach, you could not stop looking, why would you? Even if he was kind of annoying he was still attractive, all you had to do is look away once he opened his eyes.
—Better?—he said, definitely knowing that you were looking at him, still you nodded in response.
Walking with him was strangely comfortable even if he smelled weird because of the sea water, you could almost forget how a second ago he killed someone in cold blood and feel comfortable around you, like if you knew he wouldn't do anything and would even defend you, unlike other guys who wouldn't even ask you if you got home safe. When ordering food he didn't try to order for you either, who would have thought that an assassin would be so nice? You just hoped he wouldn't demand sex out of you to "pay him back", actually he didn't even hint at it, instead he asked about you and since you had been raised right you introduced yourself, obviously leaving some details behind to not sound like you were high on every single substance in Runeterra.
—I was about to leave you, but I had to walk that way to get home—you said after he asked you why you had treated him, and yet again he laughed, at this point you didn't know whether you were the best comedian out there or he was just stupid.
—You still could have, I lost consciousness when I reached that tree.
—I made an oath—you looked at him—I'm also not an asshole.
He laughed again, finally you arrived to the great conclusion that he was stupid. Both of you finished your food and even though this was a flavour you didn't even know existed you knew that the moment you could get your hands in some Ionian coins you would spend it all in this.
—I guess you liked the food—he commented, cleaning with his thumb a crumb from your cheek before bringing it to his mouth, you loved that cliche in movies.
—I've never had anything like this—you cleared your throat—I owe you an apology for earlier, I get kinda frustrated when I'm hungry.
—It's fine, I understand—surprisingly this time he didn't laugh—it's getting kinda late, let me take you home.
Ah, that's right, home. Where was your home at? Then again, you could just open the door of any house and arrive to the Abode but what if one day he knocked the door of that house and the actual owner of the place came out? Leading him to that shed that was missing half of it's roof was also not a really smart choice.
—You don't need to do that, I can get there by myself—you said, hoping that he wouldn't pressure you.
—It's dangerous out here, specially in the night—he warned and you nodded, already knowing that he had made up his mind and wouldn't change it—let's go, I'm not letting you get killed by something.
He got up and started walking while dragging you by your hand.
—I'm starting to think you're gonna kill me.
He looked back at you with a crazy smile that freezed your bones, you knew from his lore about it yet nothing could prepare you for it, and what scared you the most was that you didn't know whether he was just playing a prank on you or was genuinely going to kill you, now you wondered whether he could actually hit it off with anyone with that smile, the guy sure looked like a player but with that crazy look that would instantly get him into an asylum with a safety jacket and padded walls you doubted he could pull anyone. However, if you did get to any door in time you could survive and you already knew that the way to the house thru the beach was full of run down abandoned houses, so to show you weren't scared of him you scoffed and walked faster until you were in front of him.
—So—he started, apparently bothered by the silence—do you work for someone? Surely a healer like you would have some good job offers.
—I don't and I'm not a healer, I'm a doctor, big difference—you said as if it wasn't morally and legally incorrect to claim you were a doctor when you didn't graduate, it also wasn't like you would get in legal trouble for it.
—You still heal people, right?
—What? No, I help them recover, I find out what's causing them discomfort and use my knowledge to help them, the people themselves do the healing, I just help—you seemed offended by the assumption.
He stayed quiet after that, looking like he was thinking and honestly, that worried you. Maybe you were just a person with a wild imagination but with how far away you two were from the town and with how dark and spooky the forest that you loved had become you felt you should start digging your own grave.
—Do you want to work for the yanlei?—he said and you stoped dead in your tracks.
Would it be smarter to feign ignorance or just flat out reject him? A job would at least entertain you and pay you but the idea of having to see him everyday sounded more like hell to you, what a big dilema you were in. Also, if you didn't accept would he finally kill you?
—How's the pay?—first thing you asked, in your experience that would scare away any potential employers.
—You will have to consult my master for that.
You recalled who he was talking about and to be honest you weren't completely pumped at the idea of having Zed be your boss. You stared at him for a while, thinking of all the pros and cons that accepting would bring along and there where so many more cons that pros but you had spent your entire life playing it safe, from your choice in career to simple things like what you were going to eat that day and in this world you would be able to take on a new beginning, do whatever you wanted without the fear of judgment or isolation from your peers, so fuck it, why not accept?
—Sure, why not?—you shrugged, anything was better than roting in your couch.
Kayn smiled widely at you, not with a crazy smile but with an actually friendly one and offered his hand for you to stretch it to seal the deal, this time you gladly took it.
—Great, I'll come get you tomorrow morning—he said, looking like a kid who just got gifted a lego set.
The next morning when you looked back at that conversation you realized how he played you like a violin, from "coincidentally" finding you on the beach to treating you so kindly and when he knocked on your door and immediately greeted you with a smile after you opened it you decided that you would play with him too.

Late nights
idia shroud x fem reader
SUMMMARY: a sleep deprived idia confesses and proclaims his love to the leader to ramshackle dorm. What could possibly happen!
Tumblr media
Idia had been spending the past week playing video games as per usual. however this time idia might've gone a bit too far, having stocked up on energy drinks, sugary drinks, snacks, and ramen. enough to last him a week, enough for him to keep grinding on his game for artifacts and the currency to buy wishes on his favorite open-world RPG gacha game.
a new character, multiple artifacts had been released, he couldn't hide his excitement, he could always turn in his assignments late.
his eyebags worsened, but it was worth it when he finally got his character to c6 and maxed out everything on them, smiling content with his work. he could finally reward himself after the week of his work.
he hummed reaching the black plastic bag on his desk, searching for the last package of instant ramen, instead he was disappointed to see the bag was empty. he wondered when he had finished all his snacks.
oh well. he could always run by quickly to sam's shop, it was only 12:25 AM. he quickly got out of his gaming chair, instantly feeling dizzy, his world spinning. 'why do i keep forgetting I'm anemic.' he sighed.
as he got out of his room and went through the mirror chamber to arrive at Sam's shop idia yawned, sleep starting to get the better of him. but he would not let himself fall asleep, not until he gave himself his reward of ramen and snacks.
He hummed picking out his selections of ramen, two packages of spicy ramen, one savory flavor, and a carbonara flavored ramen. for his drinks of choice he picked cola and dr pepper. Sweet sugary snacks too. satisfied with what he picked, he went to check out. paying 1,800 madol in total, 'cheap and inexpensive', that was how he liked things. the simple things in his life.
sleep eating away at him. he desperately wanted to close his eyes, not being able to tell if he had already fallen asleep at his desk, dreaming of buying his snacks and being able to reward himself.
he found it hard to keep his eyes open. closing and opening them every few seconds to try and relive his urge to sleep. 'idia? are you okay?' he heard a woman's voice softly ask. "ah, y/n how are you.." he tiredly asked.
He must've been dreaming. Someone as kind, gorgeous, oh did he mention gorgeous. he had found her gorgeous and breathtaking during their first encounter. Their next few reinforcing his already growing feelings for her.
If this truly was a dream, his dream, then he could be selfish right? "I love you." he blurted out without a thought, However the moment he registered what he had said his face turned crimson, his flaming blue hairs tips lighting up a soft pink to match.
Since he already let the cat out of the bag and dug his grave he might as well finish digging it. "I-I-ive loved you for 4 months...I've admired you for that long...I hoped you would notice me..as selfish as that sounds." he paused swallowing "I know I'm not your type. I'm nothing like the type of idiotic meat for brains Jocks you girls are into...I know Jack, Leona, Hell even Malleus and Floyd leech fit the description..!"
He began shaking, Maybe he should shut up and stop talking, But he could not stop himself. All his feelings come out in waves of desperation and frustration. "I can't offer you half the things they could. I could never take you out on Dates, Shopping, or to watch cheese romance Movies. But I can offer you My loyalty.., My love, Staying up late with you, Staying up playing video games, Midnight conversations, Eating instant food while watching Movies..!- or if you'd prefer fresh food we could order it on delivery..!"
"Idia i-"
He quickly cut her off, Afraid if he let her get one word in you would disappear. Or worse you'd start telling him he's a repulsive disgusting shut-in "I know you probably won't accept or reciprocate.." tears welled up in his eyes.
he wiped his tears "I just, wanted to tell you... I'm glad I got to.."
"Idia." she said looking at him with concern in her eyes. "I feel the same way, But I'm not sure you're okay. You can barely keep yourself awake!"
"I'm perfectly okay.." he slurred in a sleepy voice "I know you don't reciprocate..don't lie to me..." he sounded so tired.
"but I do!" Y/n looked at him conflicted
"Then prove it...I don't believe someone like you could ever like someone like me." he said 'i know she'll lie. this is how it's always been, no girl will ever find a place for me in their heart, nonetheless reciprocate..but I'm glad I could at least-'
His train of thought got cut off, he felt warm on his lips. Her lips. She was kissing him. In that instance he had never been more aware in his life. eyes widening in shock. he soon melted into the kiss, the plastic bag full of his snacks falling out of his hand as he quickly wrapped his arms around her waist.
This wasn't a dream, It was reality. She kissed him back feeling his lips sloppily move against her, she wrapped her arms around his neck bringing him closer to her. he whimpered lifting her up by her waist feeling her wrap her legs around him waist. her fingers finding their place in his hair, tugging on it slightly making idia groan.
she whined into the kiss, she could taste idia, he tasted like energy drinks and a taste she could not place. she pulled away breathless, strings of saliva connecting the both of them.
"idia.." she whimpered "yes?" he replied to her, catching his own breath. "let's go to your dorm room, I wanna keep kissing you.." she whispered lowly.
his face was crimson, how could he deny her request? She reciprocated, That meant she was his and he was hers right? he nodded letting her waist go as she got off him.
she quickly picked up the bag of snacks he had dropped earlier, holding his hand. idia was taken aback, but the corners of his lips slowly turned into a small ghost smile, holding her hand in his.
it felt like forever going through the mirror chamber, as soon as they reached ignihyde and reached idia's room the bag was thrown on floor completely disregarded.
Idia and y/n already back at each other's lips, pulling each other desperately closer. Idia could feel as she desperately rubbed her thighs against each other, to get friction, to help alleviate herself. idia couldn't help himself, running his fingers against his plush thighs, earning a whine and gasp coming from her mouth.
"i-idia.." she whimpered, looking at her laying on his bed was a sight to behold, not that he'd ever object. "touch me.... please..." was all idia needed to hear to snap, that part of him that held him back disappearing.
He slipped her shorts off along with panties, Looking at her wet cunt. he couldn't help himself, licking a strip of her pussy all the way to her clit, sucking on it. He could hear her moans, which went straight to his dick.
"more!..need you..need you so bad!" she was begging, no, no no she was demanding, how could he refuse his cute girlfriends request?
he ripped her shirt, pulling it off and unclipping her bra, freeing her breasts, afterwards he threw his own clothes off on the floor. he watched enough porn to know what to do. all he needed to do was execute it. that wouldn't be much of a problem with how horny they both were, adrenaline rushing through their veins.
he pushed a finger into her cunt fingering her lightly before adding another one scissoring them inside and stretching her.
"ngh~ haa....ah.." her moans only encouraging him. he took his fingers out whines of protest leaving her mouth. idia couldn't help but lick his fingers clean of her juices. it tasted so sweet.
he lined up his cock with the entrance of her pussy. slowly pushing the head of his cock inside. "idia! nghh...mmmmm.." she moaned "fuck just shove all of your cock into me! fuck me please!..need to cum..."
idia slammed himself all the way in her, knocking the breath out of her, she gasped in pleasure her eyes fluttering closed in pleasure, she wrapped her arms around idia's shoulders her fingernails digging into his skin.
idia pounded and thrusted into her desperately chasing his high, her pussy clenching around him. it was like a love spell to him. sinful thoughts about breeding, impregnating and leaving her cock drunk filled his mind.
"faster!..harder! more, don't stop don't stop please don't stop!" she begged idia, he could feel her pussy clenching around him. she was so close. so close to cumming. she oh so desperately wanted to cum. she wrapped her legs tightly around his waist giving his more access to her. she could feel his cock go in deeper and deeper. his thrusts were sloppy and fast, yet she could feel herself closer and closer to cumming. finally feeling relief and cumming all over idia's cock as soon as he hit her sweet spot.
he groaned a moan leaving his mouth as her pussy clenched on his cock, his own orgasm finally coming as his hot ropes of cum filled her. she looked so fucked over, her eyes full of lust and pleasure, her body limp as she passed out. idia soon following falling next to her into a peaceful slumber. they'd both deal with the aftermath later.

Favourite lyrics from ‘Louis Tomlinson’ Songs:
Disclaimer: I love all of Louis’ songs and think he is an incredibly talented lyricist. His lyrics often make me feel emotions I wasn’t expecting, and get me into deep spirals of thought.
Faith In The Future
All This Time: It’s not how you spend the time, it’s if you waste it // And I keep on building mountains hoping that they’ll turn to gold but the truth is I still doubt that what I do can get me home // Our eyes meet and I can tell that you’re the same as me
Saturdays: I’m gazing at the floor somebody’s got your trainers on the ones the ones that you wore when you walked out the door // We always used to say Saturdays take the pain away // Through my cigarette A shadow of you sticks me to the carpet // My heart might be broken but I won’t be broken down
Holding Onto Heartache: Creates the strangest feelin’ just slowly waitin’ for the end // The moments never shown to us because we faded into darkness // You know the parties over when you’re standing in an empty space alone // Nothing’s ever easy to be honest, I’m not easy on myself
Face The Music: Love and hate are in-between depends on your reality to see them // So one more night I’m gonna choose I don’t wanna face the music but I still wanna dance with you // Close your eyes and count to ten If you’re standin’ on the edge of fallin’ // Let’s buy some time
The Greatest: Said I had a plan for us time, it came and changed it all we had to disappear // Back dancin’ in the dark back to the very start finding pieces we can fit making up for what we missed // It’s you and me until the end life for us is never over
That’s The Way Love Goes: Remember when you told me I should give it time? well, here’s the chance for you to take your own advice // When it cuts you, when you bleed that’s when you’re feelin’ it the most // Not gonna ask you, but we’ll make sure your okay who cares? It’s her loss anyway
Chicago: They say, “bitter ends turn sweet in time” is that true of yours and mine? // Has it been long enough that you can forgive me? Just because it didn’t work, doesn’t mean it’s meaningless to me // ‘Cause I’ve been wondering what you’d say would you have told me to keep goin’? or would you say to walk away?
Headline: Sometimes, I wake up, and I hear you through the silence // You let your pride hide all your beauty and your kindness // So many reasons now you’re not mine // You never told me never I guess I never knew we’d have the shortest forever // Thought I could, but I can’t forget you
Silver Tongues: You said love was a pretty lie // you smile at me and say, “It’s time to to go” but I don’t feel like goin’ home // you say grass was a dirty drug you like to preach with a vodka in your mug // you and me until the end wakin’ up to start again
Angels Fly: There’s a time for sayin’ who did what where it went wrong, I wanna hear all that, but right now what I need you to know is // You’ll be okay, we can talk tomorrow I’m on my way with some time to burrow // I won’t say a word, it can wait ‘til morning // put the pain behind you now you don’t need it anymore // there were problems in this empty bottle at the bottom, but we drained all that (My ultimate favourite of FITF)
She Is Beauty We Are World Class: Conversation is currency shapes become language // Escape the inevitable fade into light soak up the empathy // Has it been all this before? Do you see what I see?
Bigger Than Me: When somebody told me I would change I used to hide behind a smile // I didn’t read the signs walking different lines I know I took a left trying to make it right // I was afraid, I don’t know why ‘cause so does the world outside I’ve realised and it’s bigger than me
Common People: I Came from a good home A house full of terrace dreams that was enough for me // The mistakes and the heartaches when I get lost, I go back to where I started // I took head of the local no deep pockets, only big hearts do you see what I see?
Out Of My System: I never wanna go slowly I only wanna go faster towards disaster // I am only half of what I think I can be // I’ve lived a lot of my life already but I gotta get though the rest // I’m taking all of my demons puttin’ them where I won’t see them ‘cause I just wanna feel alive
Written All Over Your Face: A hurricane behind the door so, I’ve come ready for a war // When we’ve finished saying nothing can we, please, get back to loving?
Lucky Again: I see how hard you’ve worked to be yourself // But I figured it out, then made my way back to a life I would choose // Before the world, it got so serious before the time, it got away from us // Whatever get you through the darkest night just find the light out in the darkness, hold tight // I’m a hard man to find but you figured it out and I love you for that
Walls
Defenceless: “wish I didn’t need so much of you” I hate to say but I do // we’re sleeping on our problems like we’ll solve them in our dreams // And I can’t get inside when you’re lost in your pride but you don’t have a thing to prove // And I’m too tired to be tough just wanna be loved by you
Only The Brave: Set fire to history I’m breaking my own rules // I’ve been close enough to touch but I never cared for love // And it’s only hello, hello, no goodbye. (One of my favourites from Walls)
Walls: The day you walked away and took the higher ground was the day I became the man that I am now // Nothing makes you hurt like hurtin’ who you love // For every question why, you were my because // So this one is a thank you for what you did to me why is it that thank-yous are so often bittersweet?
Always You: I went to Tokyo to let it go drink after drink but I still felt alone // Walked through the door but it felt nothing like home ‘cause you’re not home //
Too Young: I’ve been looking back a lot lately me and you is all I’ve ever known It’s hard to think you could ever hate me // Now we can finally have conversation that I wish we could’ve had before // Now I realise yeah, I realise we were too young to know we had everythin’ // It’a been two years since I’ve seen your face I’m trying to find some better words to say before I let this moment slip away
Two Of Us: This morning I woke up still dreaming with memories playing through my head // Even when I’m on my own I know I won’t be alone // I can feel your blood run through me you’re written in my DNA looking back in every mirror // We’ll end just like we started just you and me and no one else
Perfect Now: You don’t feel pretty and It’s hard to miss I wish you could see my point of view as someone starin’ back at you // Just keep your head up, love, keep your head up don’t hide away don’t ever change // I guess some queens don’t need a crown and I know why // You never do but if you asked me too I’ll tell the truth lying next to you // You make me feel like being someone good to you, even at your worst. (My ultimate favourite from Walls)
Fearless: Tell me, do you still remember feeling young? And strong enough to get it wrong // Now if happiness is always measured by the life you designed that car on the drive then you should feel better than ever but you know as well as I it’s all lies
Kill My Mind: And you hate me, and I want more // And ya won’t let go of you hold on me // Kept me living from the last time from a prison of a past life
Don’t Let It Break Your Heart: Life get hard and it gets messed up when you give so much, but it’s not enough // And what hurts you is gonna pass and you’ll have learnt from it when it comes back
We Made It: Now, we’re saying goodbye, waving to the hard times yeah, it’s gonna be alright, like the first time // Share a single bed and tell each other what we dream about things we’d never say to someone else out loud // Oh god, what I could’ve become don’t know why they put this all on us when we’re so young
Habit: I always said that I’d mess up eventually I told you that, so what did you expect from me? // I took some ‘cause I ran out of energy of playing someone I heard I’m supposed to be // You gave me the time and the space I was out of control and I’m sorry, I let you down
Others
Just Hold On: Feels like you’re standing on the edge looking at the stars and wishing you were them // Where do you go when the story’s done? you can be who you were or who you’ll become // The sun goes down and it comes back up the world it turns, no matter what // It’s not over ‘til it’s all been said It’s not over ‘till your dying breath
Just Like You: But you only get half of the story the cash, and the cars and the glory // ‘Cause nobody cares when you’re boring // yeah, I feel the same as you do same stress, same shit to go through // I’m just like you if you only knew // Yeah, I get sad too and when I’m down I need somebody to talk to // Every heart breaks the same every tear leaves a stain can’t I just be same?
Back To You: These days I don’t even know myself // I tell myself I’m done with wicked games but then I get so numb with all the laughter that I forget about the pain
Miss You: Just one more pint of five does it even matter anyway? // Just like that and I’m sober I’m asking myself, “is it over?” // And all of these thoughts and the feelings cheers to that if you don’t need them // We can’t even be on the phone now and I can’t even be with you alone now // we were in love and now we’re strangers // When I feel it coming up, I just throw it all away get another two shots ‘cause it doesn’t matter anyway
Copy Of A Copy Of A Copy: It’s an old curse dreamers diving head first // Nothing is original there’s nothing left to say // I can hear you howling until your lungs hurt so let this be your comfort // In a strange way all in this together been this way forever

Appreciation 3
Considering the prompt “Culture/Holidays/Anniversaries/Special Occasions,” I first thought of how anniversaries are a keeping count, with the hope/expectation that the count will continue. That went nowhere, so I wondered: what makes a given day holy? How do we—why do we—sanctify? Still no luck. Then: what is a “special occasion”? Do we know it when we see it? Do we know it for what it is when we see it? Or do we perhaps resent it? That seemed a bit more productive.
The “story” for this day’s work (which follows day 1’s “Architecture” and day 2’s “Bridge,” in sequence at the very least) goes a little like this...
Worry
Adam Phillips, “Worrying and Its Discontents.” On Kissing, Tickling, and Being Bored: Psychoanalytic Essays on the Unexamined Life. Cambridge, Mass.: Harvard UP, 1993.
[W]hat worries are used for—what kind of medium of exchange or currency they become in one’s relationship with other people and oneself—may be as revealing as what prompts them. (The question may not be “What are you worried about?” but “Whom is this worry for?”).... It is, of course, easy to forget that worries are imaginative creations, small epics of personal failure and anticipated catastrophe. They are, that is to say, made up.
[....]Worrying implies a future, a way of looking forward to things. It is a conscious conviction that a future exists, one in which something terrible might happen, which is of course ultimately true. So worrying is an ironic form of hope.
****
“I have to go home,” Myka says, and Helena hears worry. Just a quaver.
“Has something happened?” she asks, but obviously something has, or Myka would never have said “have to.”
“Sort of,” Myka says.
Helena braces herself.
“My dad’s getting an award.”
Well. Not what Helena would have predicted, certainly, given Myka’s tone, but then again Myka does from time to time imply, and even perceive, catastrophes where none exist. A bit ironic, that, given how often she suggests that Helena tends to escalate unnecessarily.
She waits for Myka to continue, but no additional words are forthcoming. To bridge the silence, she says, “That’s... good news?”
“I never had any idea he was doing what they’re giving it to him for.”
That doesn’t seem fully responsive to Helena’s question—or is it? Keeping her voice neutral, Helena asks another: “Which is?”
“Giving books to kids. Books. To kids. Not kids kids, but older kids, and not just any books—textbooks, things they say they want to study—sciences, literature, public health, architecture, stats, archaeology, everything. I can’t believe it. Can you believe it?”
Helena knows her own belief is in no way the issue. She stays silent, and Myka continues, “So now I have to go and say ‘sorry I never knew you were doing this amazing thing.’”
Silence again, now from Myka. Helena waits, waits... then waits more, but because silence should not last forever, as she is sensing this might, she breaks it with, “How did you learn about this award?”
A break it was, for it looses a flood: “My mom called and told me. Then I went and read the press release. Because there was a press release! And then I did a whole search, and I found all these articles in the paper about this—about him doing this—for years, and it was just local to start, but then he was able to scale it up statewide, so I guess I have to say those ‘sorry I never knew’ words, not to mention, ‘sorry I assumed you weren’t capable of this kind of thing.’”
Myka doesn’t tend to pace, but she has paced throughout this overflow, walking the length of the bedroom, door to night table and back again. Helena, who has been sitting on the bed, is loath to interrupt the physicality of her thought.
As Myka reaches the door for what may be the fifth time (Helena hasn’t kept count, so unnerved was she by the pacing in the first place), she seems taken aback to find herself there, or to be faced with its implacable physicality. “No, that’s wrong, about the sorry,” she tells it. “It’s ‘sorry I never even thought about you as someone who would do this kind of thing.’” She lays her hands on the surface, perhaps in thanks for the insight, then comes to the bed and sits next to Helena. She breathes out—Helena knows that exhale for irritability—and says, “I just figured out how not to resent him so much. But now I have to appreciate him.”
“You don’t have to do anything,” Helena says. That may not be what Myka needs to hear, but Helena expects—well, hopes—that Myka’s response to her having said it will make something clear.
“What about your father?” Myka demands.
So much for clarity. “What about him?” Helena asks. This truly can have nothing to do with her own father; she is sure of that. One then-now dissimilarity Helena has been completely unable to impress upon Myka is the difference between children’s understandings—expectations—of their parents. She won’t try again now, however. “I can say he never provided books to the academically ambitious. As far as I know.”
“Ha! See? All we know for sure is that Colorado Springs never gave him the Spirit of the Springs Award.”
“I doubt Bromley has—rather, had—such an award.”
“Are you sure, though? Because you might have to do this weirdo reassessment too.” She’s trying to equate, or at least to identify cognates... but where none exist. “You might have to do it now. Let me google your dad, and we’ll see what he—”
“Myka.” Helena has googled her father. All her family members. “If I might reorient you.”
“To what?” She actually has her telephone in her hand.
“Appreciating one aspect doesn’t mean appreciating everything. I myself am evidence of that. Haven’t I done some things worthy of appreciation?”
“Of course you have.”
That’s Myka’s “reassuring” tone, and while Helena would like to sink into its warmth, here she raises a hand to move it away, saying, “But by no means everything, correct?”
“But extenuating circumstances,” Myka says, yet with a sickly cast; she’s of course discerned where this argument is going.
Helena nods. “I’d like to imagine so,” she says, and follows it with what she knows Myka doesn’t want to hear. “Your father might claim the same.”
That earns her a peevish, “Why are you defending him?”
“I’m defending myself. If you take your critical stance to its logical end, I suffer as well.”
Myka sighs overdramatically. “Don’t make me do this.”
While Helena doesn’t want to be didactic (well, some of the time), she feels she has to say, “I’m not making you do anything. What I’m making is a selfish argument about the ethics of praise and blame.”
“Okay, supergenius,” Myka says, and her use of one of Pete’s preferred sobriquets makes her continued agitation extremely clear. “You did make the argument. You made it so well that you have to come with me. Don’t argue. It’s a rule.”
Helena had expected Myka to follow that with a softening smile, but none seems to be forthcoming, so she tries to inject some lightness into the scenario. “This seems a rule of quite recent invention. And limited applicability.”
“Do you want to fight me on this?” Myka asks, with no lightness at all.
Helena tells the truth: “Not at all. I want to observe how you deal with this.”
“Sociology,” Myka groans. “Great.”
It is sociology, and it has to do with a difference Helena has difficulty grasping fully: Myka is always anxious of going home (or “home,” for that word stands in for “my parents’ house in Colorado Springs,” a linguistic shorthand that Helena initially and mistakenly found offensive) because, as she had put it when Helena pushed her for an explanation, “I don’t like who I am there.” Helena can’t deny her interest in this strange, modern slippage (strange because modern? or strange and modern?) between child-self and adult-self... or perhaps it’s world-self and home-self. In any case, yes: sociology.
Myka says, “I know you like to watch me lose it.” It’s not quite an accusation, more an acknowledgement, a this-is-what-I-let-myself-in-for acquiescence.
“Not true,” Helena says, but she has to concede, “however, I’m fascinated by the circumstances under which you do.”
“I really need to keep it under control for this. Can I?”
Because Myka does in fact sometimes “lose it,” Helena says, in the interest of accuracy, “I have no idea. “
“Come on, don’t be like that... have an idea! Be that supergenius! Help me do it!”
Helena takes her seriously. She tries, “You might recognize that children received help. And the effect on them is most likely objectively good, regardless of the effect on you.”
It doesn’t rise to a level supportive of “supergenius,” Helena is reasonably certain... but it does give Myka pause.
After thinking, Myka says, “I was the kind of kid he would’ve given those books to.”
“As I understand it, he did give you books. Perhaps little else you found to be of value, but books, he did give you.”
“Are you defending him again?”
“I’m stating what I understand to be a fact. I believe this entire situation will be enhanced by attention to facts.”
“And not feelings?” They have had numerous facts-versus-feelings debates. Some have occurred out loud, in explicit terms... but some have been subterranean, glints off the vast waters of uncertainty that lurk between and below them.
They have yet to address so much... but for now, Helena says, “Feelings? Not if you intend to go home and take me with you. Feelings won’t help with that.”
Myka shakes her head. “That doesn’t make any sense, because I’m pretty sure feelings help me intend to take you with me. Because if not for feelings I wouldn’t intend to take you with me. I’d just go and do this thing, which I know I have to do, without you.” That sounds like everyday, resolute Myka. Then she softens. “But I’m glad—and grateful—that I don’t have to do it without you.”
She kisses Helena, as if a seal on the confession.
Not that Helena wouldn’t have known both her gladness and her gratitude to be true—but that Myka has spoken it aloud is new. And she’s done so seemingly without any of the resistance that, Helena has inferred, has adhered to Myka’s earlier, implicit acknowledgements that rigorous self-sufficiency might perhaps have its drawbacks, and consolation its... consolations.
Her inferences may be right; they may be wrong. But she is glad—and grateful--to be the person, now, whom Myka admits, via spoken invitation, to her concerns. To her catastrophes.
END
Note:
In these seven days of appreciation, I’m playing, extremely loosely, on sestina construction. I’m not writing a sestina stanza to go along with each part of the prose, but pieces of possibility are floating around in my head, so here’s what might be today’s stanza of that dream-poem (though any bit of poetry—or “poetry”—I purport to write is never anything more than a pastiche of an admired other):
“I have to go home,” she says, speaking worry and fear of the here-to-there bridge, as imagined catastrophes gnash at her voice. The family gathers as weighty architecture, each wing freighting mass on the scale, time-grown heaviness stressing the house.

YOUTUBE SHORTS, AFFILIATE MARKETING AND YOU! LET’S START!
Are you looking for ways to earn through affiliate marketing? Are you confused about how and where to begin? Okay, get yourself a book and a pen, we are here to tell you all about it. You can consider this as a guide to YouTube affiliate marketing for beginners.
Even though it has been digitized and more popular now, affiliate marketing has always been around. Just imagine, using just a little bit of effort and time, earning thousands of rupees in return, and enjoying it too! Exciting, right? This is exactly how affiliate marketing works. Just promote products to your audiences and get paid with every sale cycle which is completed. Also, as this is a performance-based marketing program, you would still get paid without having to commit all your time to it. This makes it a perfect part-time earning opportunity.
There are multiple methods to promote any product, including online methods and offline methods. You can choose as per your convenience and start working on the same accordingly. Both of these, however, will provide contrasting results. Offline, you would have little reach with more effort, and online, you have to make minimal efforts in exchange for maximum results. But then, with everyone becoming more and more busy with every passing day, the timeframe to convince them has also shortened. On top of it all, the content has to be attention-grabbing too. So, how do you reach your target audience with these challenges? Youtube Shorts is the way to go.
YouTube Shorts is a newly launched feature by Youtube. With this, users can create videos as short as 14 seconds to as long as 1 Minute and earn with it, both money and more subscribers. This will also ensure that your viewers will not be bored with your content as it is possible with long-form content. Youtube has created this platform keeping in mind its viewers and the latest trends. We all know how it may help with the subscribers, but how about using your youtube shorts channel for affiliate marketing? Let’s get into the details about it.
You can create YouTube Shorts Video by going to YouTube’s application. And if you want, you can also make YouTube Shorts Videos with the help of any video editor.
How to Upload Shorts Video to YouTube
If you are unaware of how to make YouTube Shorts Video, you can do it in the following ways –
Open the Youtube App– Click on the + icon at the bottom– Click on the ‘ create a short’ option and start recording. If you already have a video you want to upload as a short, you can select it from the gallery and do the needful.
Once you have done this, just give your video a title and you are good to go! P.S, don’t forget the video length. It has to be between 14- 60 Seconds long.
Now that you know how to create a youtube short video, let’s learn how you can utilize this to make. The best way to do this would be to incorporate your affiliate links within your youtube shorts video. For this, just select your preferred niche, register with an affiliate program for it, and start creating content relevant to it.
So once you have uploaded the video, you can share it on all of your social media profiles and it will start getting views.
To increase the clicks on your affiliate link, you can follow the steps below:
Mention the link in the video itself.
Mention it in the caption.
Mention it in a comment and pin it to the top.
Give all the comments a reply and a like.
So, now let’s move on to some categories of videos that you can create:
Crypto- Currency
DIY Ideas
Educational content
Facts
Fashion
Finance
Fitness
Gadgets
How-to guides
Micro- Reviews
Story-Telling
Unboxing
Additionally, here are some tips to ensure views and clicks on the videos:
Although Youtube’s algorithm does recommend relevant videos for the topics searched, you need to optimize your content for that. So, we suggest the following:
Choose a Relevant Topic
Go with a catchy thumbnail and caption
Make use of hashtags in the description along with your affiliate links
Prioritize Physical products over online services to promote
Create videos in a good resolution
Let’s see how you will earn with affiliate marketing through Youtube shorts:
Most affiliate programs pay you a certain percentage of the product value, per sale. For instance:
The product price is Rs. 1000 and the brand agrees to pay you 15% on every sale completed. Now if your single video was to get 10000 Views, there is a chance of at least 100 of the viewers to click on the link and make a purchase with time.
That means, the brand makes Rs. 1,00,000 and 15% of this amount will be yours.
On every single purchase, Rs.150 will be added to your affiliate ledger and for 100 total purchases, the amount would be 15000. This is just the start and an example of just one product. Each product will have a different price that will have an impact on the amount you will get in your kitty.
Therefore, get started with creating your fantastic content and share it around the globe with just a click. If you are confused about where to start with YouTube affiliate marketing, just go to the Sabezy Affiliate Program and register.
At SABEZY, the process is easy to work around and you can start earning in minutes.
So, Come on! We’ll be waiting for you and hope we can work hand in hand!

Mistakes to Avoid When Investing in Real Estate
Tumblr media
The Cayman Islands are a series of beautiful islands in the Caribbean Sea. Their inviting turquoise waters, pristine beaches, and lavish lifestyles are tempting. Therefore, it is no surprise that many people dream of buying real estate in the Cayman Islands as an excellent investment, one that can be rented out or used as a personal getaway.
Just like any other business investment, real estate investing requires proper planning and an understanding of possible pitfalls. This blog explores ten mistakes to avoid to ensure your journey through the Cayman Islands real estate market is smooth sailing.
1.  Diving In Without a Plan
When it comes to real estate sales, impulsive buying does not work, especially in places such as the Cayman Islands, where we live now.  Do not plunge headlong into Cayman Islands real estate market listings without a clear investment strategy. Consider these questions before planning:
- Are you looking for vacation rentals or long-term properties?
- Do you have specific budgetary constraints, and what incomes do you expect?
Depending on what you aim at achieving, search for properties accordingly. Beachfront condominiums are ideal for rent, while big houses give ultimate privacy.
2. Skimping on Research
Having beachfront villas to cute condos, you can find different property variants in the Cayman Islands real estate market.  Beware of pretty pictures –– you need to study the location with its amenities, rental potential, and restrictions, by visiting the location!
Research other similar homes within the range to learn market prices. Never forget that location matters most in the Cayman Islands, like the value of beachside luxury estates’ strongly depends on proximity to Seven Mile Beach.
3. Going Solo and Don’t Consider Local Realtor
The Cayman Islands property market operates differently from anywhere else, so getting help from reliable local brokers will be priceless! They will know everything about the market peculiarities, help with legal issues, and recommend trustworthy property managers if you rent your investment property. Thus, a good realtor can find hidden gems for you and work on favorable terms, reducing time, money, and stress.
4. Sticking to Numbers
Still, it’s worth remembering that love at first sight may not be practical because buying land in the Cayman Islands should be guided by rational thinking.  Always stick to a pre-determined budget and return on investment (ROI) expectations.
Do not forget that no matter how beautiful an estate looks, the most important thing is whether this property can generate income as expected or bring valuable capital gains.
5. Forgetting the Hidden Costs
Compared to some other areas, they have a high standard of living, resulting in higher property taxes, maintenance costs, and insurance charges, among other things.
All these additional costs must be included in future profit calculations for possible returns from such investments. Furthermore, international investors must recognize their exposure to a single currency.
6. Underestimating Due Diligence
Before making any purchase decision, make sure there is a comprehensive house inspection done by experts who will check things like structural errors or termites, among others, which might not meet the required standards.
In case of any non-compliance of anything else, like design flaws within specifications, then it should go back home with deeds showing titles evidencing no residual liabilities or other encumbrances over land.
7. Ignoring Market Trends
Like any other market, the Cayman Islands real estate market also experiences fluctuations. Keep up with what’s currently happening –tourism data and upcoming property development projects that could affect prices within your area!
This assists you when buying and selling by making informed choices regarding this process based on knowledge rather than speculation of one person only. Besides, it could also prove wrong at times, leading you astray while making such decisions.
8.  Misjudging rental potentials
If you are looking forward to earning some rental income, check the rental potential of your selected property. Consider things such as seasonality, tourist demographics, and competition in the area. Research how much similar properties are being rented for so that you can have realistic expectations.
9.  Failing to Recognize Legal and Tax Implications
Owning foreign property in the Cayman Islands involves several legal and tax issues. Consult with a qualified attorney or tax advisor to learn about residency requirements, possible taxes that can be paid or not, and restrictions on foreign ownership.
10.  Failure to Think about Exit Strategies
Although the Cayman Islands have a solid real estate market, clear-cut exit strategies are essential. Consider how you will sell your property later and any possible taxes on capital gains incurred.
You can turn your luxury real estate Cayman Islands dream into an investment by avoiding these common pitfalls and doing thorough research. Consider the diverse opportunities available in the Cayman Islands property market, ranging from luxury real estate Cayman Islands down to more humble options. If you plan well and are guided accordingly, you may find the perfect slice of paradise, which comes with financial gain and idyllic Caribbean living.
Look out for Cayman Islands Real Estate for Sale
The Cayman Islands offer stunning beachfront properties, lavish condos, and quaint residences. There are various vacation rentals or personal sanctuaries for those who prefer them all in-between for sale in the Cayman Islands real estate section, whether holiday letting heaven or truly mine alone.
This includes exclusive estates by water bodies and small apartments within Seven Mile Beach, among other places, located at strategic points around this place yet hidden from many people’s knowledge.
Walk along with a local agent who knows everything about it so that when you get there, you can buy the perfect piece of land for your own Cayman Islands paradise. Turn your Caribbean fantasy into a reality and invest in Cayman Islands real estate for sale today.

16.12. 23:42 | Ilo Pisara vs Neptune Hockey 9 - 4
Ladies and gents, gather 'round for the tale of Ilo Pisara's latest ice capade where we turned Neptune Hockey into space debris with a cosmic 9-4 victory! After our previous encounters that had more ups and downs than a yo-yo on an elevator, this win was sweeter than syrup on pancakes. Teppo Winnipeg – oh captain my captain – you were less like a puck-moving defenseman and more like Poseidon himself, commanding the seas... or in this case, the rink. Five assists? A goal? And let’s not forget your game-winning snipe shot. You're officially promoted from Teppo to Tempo because buddy, you set it! Sami Noddy – what can I say about those silky mitts dishing out five helpers while netting three goals yourself? If giveaways were currency though, you'd be richer than Jeff Bezos with those 12 turnovers. Let's tighten up before someone starts calling you Sami "Noggin" cause clearly there are some loose screws up top. And Jani Saari - scoring FIVE times?! Are we playing hockey or is this just your personal version of Duck Hunt? But seriously mate, 15 giveaways is not how we play keep-away; unless by 'away' we mean giving away pucks as if they’re going out of style. Teamwork makes the dream work but remember folks: passing isn't just something done at Thanksgiving dinner so let’s get those percentages up! Neptune who now? Exactly. Onward Ilo Pisara! Keep firing rockets on net until all that's left in our wake are stardust memories of victories past.

can't run away
“No, I have no intention to collect some reward for you, if one even exists,” you confirm.  “But why?” he asks. He’s fidgeting in his seat like he can’t sit still. It’s interesting to see when he was resting so peacefully without moving. “Because,” Chirron interjects, clearly intent to take away any fun, “she prefers not to deal in things as meaningless as currency or credits.”  “How do you live?” he asks, genuine curiosity coloring his face.  “I’ve got enough credits to keep us going for years,” you answer vaguely. “What else is there to work for?” the stranger wonders.  You turn your seat fully so it’s facing him and lean forward, dropping your voice a little. “So many things, sweetheart. Favors, information, gossip…secrets.”  His eyes go wide, like it’s something he’s never considered before. And he probably hasn’t. If he’s a Level 1, and you’d bet your ship that he is at this point, then this is so wildly out of normality for him. The Level 1s are pristine, like the celebrities of the galaxy living in luxury with someone to help keep them functioning at the highest levels. They’ll never see the types of jobs that Level 3s see, those jobs that nobody else wants to do. They’ll never work the way that Level 2s do, or have to work for humans in that way. Which isn’t to say their lives are perfect. It’s just not the kind of life where they see the dirty types of jobs that you and Chirron are used to.  “Why don’t you give me a name, sweetheart? Unless you prefer the pet name, which is fine by me,” you say. He hesitates, before saying, “Vernon.”
some habits are hard to break
So, yeah, things with him are good, great even. But… And that’s the thing, isn’t it? As soon as there’s a but, it’s like you can’t see all of the good. It’s all just a placeholder before what may be the worst three-letter word in the English language. You wonder if it means there’s just something fundamentally wrong with you. Who looks for the “buts” of every situation? Why can’t you just appreciate all the truly wonderful things in your relationship? Because you’ve had the one thing you’re missing. You know it exists and it’s hard to forget. Your boyfriend is great, perfect, even, in almost every way that matters. It’s just, you’re not exactly…satisfied. And you know that you could guide him to be better for you in that way. He just seems a bit sensitive about it at times and you don’t want to make him feel less than since he never does that to you. This is exactly why you’re staring at your phone. Paralyzed because you both want to send the text and know you really can’t. Your body remembers his, remembers the way the slightest touch sent your heart racing. You try to also remember every word he’s ever uttered to you, too, because he’s always been very clear about who he is. It’s fucked up that you’re even considering it, beyond wrong that you typed those 5 words out in an empty conversation thread. (Even though you usually keep every conversation, you deleted this one after you got serious about your boyfriend. You say it’s to keep the temptation away, but really, how well is that working now?)
tell me how it got this way
Hoseok: hey, it’s been a while … Hoseok: I hope you haven’t deleted my number Hoseok: I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I was hoping we could meet up, you know, two old friends. At that moment, your brain jolts your body back into action, and you’re mad, maybe unreasonably mad, but you’re seething. How dare he? After all this time? After everything that was said? How fucking dare he act like the reason you hadn’t spoken all these years had been something mutual rather than something that was entirely on him. No, you hated Jung Hoseok. Hate him more than anyone you’d ever known. Hate him more than the ex that cheated on you with some fucking yoga instructor. Hate him more than your ex, who had decided you weren’t “marriage” material, whatever the fuck that meant. This is different. It had struck you so deeply and changed the entire way you saw everything, the way you interacted with everyone. When you and Namjoon started working together, he had commented that it felt like you were an entirely different person than whoever had written the pages in front of him. That person was vibrant and funny, and open. You seemed closed off, even cynical, despite being so young. You had shrugged it off, and he hadn’t pressed, likely because he appreciated the talent in the work he was reading. This was the reason, though. Jung Hoseok. It’s been 5 years of carefully putting it in a box and tucking it away. And they’re good boxes you used, very sturdy. It’s been such a long time since he crossed your mind that you thought you were over it all, all the pain, hurt, and betrayal. You have to fight the urge to throw your phone across the room, knowing that the lecture you’d get when you tell Namjoon you need a new one isn’t worth it. You want to scream, but it’s nearly midnight, and you have neighbors that would likely hear. Not that you care, exactly, but the last thing you want to do is explain to them that someone you’d known years ago randomly popped back into your life like it was nothing and you can’t cope with it. So you keep running down the list of options for how to react to this and wish you knew how to handle something like a normal, well-adjusted adult. You can’t stop your brain from running down yet another list, about a mile a minute, of every possible reason why he’s reaching out now. Why is he thinking of you? What does he want? That’s the reality, after all this time, it isn’t just to catch up. He must want something and think he’ll be able to get it from you.

“This seat still taken?”  You look up to find the man that Jungkook asked about moments earlier and that’s when it clicks. Yes, you do know him and you finally remember from where. The world certainly works in mysterious ways. “No,” you answer with a smile.  “Do you mind?” he asks. “Go ahead,” you offer and take in his features, for real this time. Without the haze of alcohol or fights or Jungkook clouding your vision. “I’m not sure if you remember me, but…” he begins. “We met at a bar and you took me home and just let me sleep it off, yeah it’s hazy but I remember,” you finish. “I, uh, well I tried to text you when I realized you were gone,” he says, an embarrassed smile gracing his beautiful features. “I guess you must’ve given me the wrong number.” “Oh, wow, I guess I don’t remember much,” you say. “Can I see your phone? Did you keep the number I gave anyway?” “Yeah, here,” he says and hands over his phone. You realize your mistake right away. “Well this is embarrassing.” “Didn’t wanna run into me again?” he asks. “No, no, that’s not it at all. At the very least I owe you a thanks for being a decent guy,” you say. “No, I tried to give you my real number, I just mixed up these last two numbers.” “I’m glad I ran into you then,” he says as you fix the entry. “Yeah, me too,” you say and find you mean it.
i dare you
“Why are you avoiding her anyway?” Seungcheol asks. He moves his fingers through the pieces looking for one and lets out a sigh when he finds what he’s looking for. “I’m not,” Jeonghan answers shortly. Seungcheol looks up for real at that, has that look on his face like he’s just so fucking done with everything. It’s a familiar look and Jeonghan hates it. “Be serious, Han. You’re ignoring her, which is fine, but only if you admit it’s because you’ve finally realized you’re in love with her.” Jeonghan goes silent, feels like the air is sucked out of the room. His heart feels tight. Because this is something he’s been debating with himself for the last few days. (Last couple weeks, if he’s being honest. Okay, last couple months, but really, who’s counting?) And really, how stupid would that be? You’re friends, best friends, and he can’t mess that up. You’ve said yourself that he’s your favorite person, that’s all it is. When Jeonghan doesn’t say anything, Seungcheol sighs, marks his page, and shuts the instruction book. Moves it to the side for good measure. “Look, Han, if…we don’t have to talk about it if you’re not ready.” Not if it wasn’t true, Jeonghan notes. There’s no mention of Seungcheol being wrong because he doesn’t think he is. Not that Jeonghan thinks he is either. “I don’t know, I guess it might be good to talk about?”
first impressions & second chances
“Did you hear that? Your friend says I’m pretty,” you gloat.  “He doesn’t need to hear it, he clearly already knows. He’s got eyes,” Minghao says with a shrug, like this is barely of any consequence. “I will never let him live this down,” you declare, earning several laughs. “Surely he must have told you that you’re beautiful before,” Seokmin wonders. “I assumed that’s really why he wasn’t bringing you around, because he doesn’t want to share.” That makes you laugh, hard. Thankfully you have a friend next to you in Soonyoung, whose eyes are crinkling along with the laughter. “I don’t think he’s ever told her that she’s pretty in the entire time I’ve known them.” “Well that’s just wrong,” Seokmin says. “Is that so, Seok?” Joshua asks. You glare over at Joshua, not liking the way this has turned. Seokmin, at least out of the corner of your eye, looks like he’s fumbling a little. Seems like he might be a little unsure of what to say. “Oh, I see what you’re doing,” Soonyoung cuts in. “You’re trying to make us forget you let her call you Joshie because our best friend is gorgeous.” “Our best friend?” Joshua asks. Just like that, the attention is off of Seokmin, and honestly off of you as well, as they all bicker back and forth about who is best friends with whom. It’s honestly kind of fun and chaotic to be with the whole group like this. You even think that maybe you ought to do it a little more.

Paper Money has been shown to harbor microbial pathogens?!?!?
Tumblr media
Ya know,...... I had this pile of change on my table for almost a month now, and the cat has been batting it around the house like it was one of her cat toys , so I decided to go down to the store and buy a lotto ticket and a candy bar to get rid of it.
I mean I do all my spending with my debit card, and for the last 6 or 7 years now, and I never carry currency, coins of paper money anymore in my wallet, only my debit card, drivers license and thinks like my medical cars, social security card, so my wallet is not the big fat bulging ass pain it use to be when it use to hold about $70 or $80 bucks, and sometimes I forget it's there it's sooo thin anymore.
I guess this is common because the treasury prints less money every year for distribuation, because a lot of people don't use currency anymore either, and everything is digital today,.......... well utill the power goes out, then we go back to medieval times I'm guessing, where you just take what you want by force, and kill those who resist your efforts.
Anyhoo, I was reading a study about currency in a medical journal of all things and it seems paper money has been shown to harbor microbial pathogens in one independent study.
The study concentrated on the stability of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID) at room temperature on banknotes, in vitro studies with live virus suggested SARS-CoV-2 was highly unstable on banknotes after 24 hours.
But before 24 hours??????
And do ya know how far paper money can travel within 24 hours.
The average $1, $5, or $20 bill changes hands on average every 7.4 hours, and travels 2.08 miles a day throughout it's 24 hour exchange routine.
And yeah, I painstakingly looked up those stats.
Did ya know people working in Banks were the number one group likely to get COVID,.... not people in nursing homes! Covid-19 killed over 1,000 bank employees in some India Banks alone, as well as hundreds of overseas banks having thousands of bank employees die of COVID infections they didn't know how they got.
Ya see our skin naturally has a light oily base to it, and when we touch a dormant splattered with COVID that isn't dead yet, it can reanimate in our moist skin and then if you touch your eye or mouth you could get that COVID from the last infected person that left it on that paper money if it is within a few hours.
Well no one knows for sure because there has only been one indepent study on this phenomenon of getting COVID from paper money, and the CDC has done studies, but their results aren't privy to the public.
Because no government on earth will fund any Grants studying how many Bank employees died of COVID,..... I mean that would probably keep people away from banks, not to mention cause people to stop spending paper money, which would be bad for economies.
Just a thought about paper currency being phased out might not be a bad thing given it's ability to carry and harbor microbial pathogens to everyone who touches it, and what a perfect delivery system practically everyone uses!

The Importance Of Accuracy In Crypto Tax Reporting With Software
In today's world, digital assets are becoming more and more commonplace. As such, it is important for investors to understand the importance of accuracy in crypto tax reporting with software. Accurate reports can help ensure investors comply with all necessary regulations and avoid any legal issues that may arise from incorrect filing. In this article, we will explore why accuracy is so critical when using software to file taxes related to cryptocurrency investments.
The first thing to consider when discussing accuracy in crypto tax reporting is how blockchain technology works. Blockchain provides a secure chain of data records which makes tracking transactions within cryptocurrencies much easier than traditional methods used for fiat currencies or other assets. This means that accurate reports must be generated in order for investors to stay up-to-date on their tax liabilities. Without proper record keeping and accurate reporting, there could be serious consequences if an investor fails to pay the correct amount of taxes due.
Finally, another reason why accuracy is so important lies in the complexity of cryptocurrency taxation laws around the world. Different countries have different rules regarding taxation on digital assets, making it even more difficult for investors to keep track of their obligations without reliable software solutions. By utilizing specialized programs designed specifically for crypto tax reporting, investors can ensure they remain compliant with all applicable laws while also avoiding costly mistakes caused by incorrect filings or late payments.
Tumblr media
What Is Cryptocurrency Tax Reporting?
Cryptocurrency tax reporting is the process of tracking and documenting all transactions involving digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, etc. Taxpayers must report their cryptocurrency gains or losses on IRS Form 1040 Schedule D in order to accurately account for any taxable income resulting from trading activity. This form requires taxpayers to provide detailed information about each transaction including date, type of currency purchased/sold, amount received or paid out, and cost basis (the original purchase price). The accuracy of this data is essential in order to determine any applicable capital gains taxes owed by the taxpayer.
It's important to keep thorough records when dealing with cryptocurrencies since they are not regulated like traditional currencies; therefore, it can be challenging to prove ownership rights if needed. Additionally, some exchanges may only provide limited access to historical transaction data which could complicate things even further. Fortunately, there are various software solutions available that can make the process much easier by automatically tracking and recording trades so users won't have to worry about forgetting key details when filing their taxes.
No matter what method one chooses for handling their crypto-related transactions and record keeping, accuracy should always remain top priority; otherwise an individual may find themselves facing hefty fines and penalties from the IRS due to inaccurate reporting. Therefore staying organized and diligent throughout the entire process is absolutely essential for meeting all necessary requirements come tax time.
Challenges With Traditional Tax Reporting Methods
Accuracy is of utmost importance when preparing tax documents. Unfortunately, traditional methods of reporting cryptocurrency transactions can be time-consuming and prone to error. It's easy for errors to creep in as traders try to process hundreds or even thousands of trades manually. This may lead to incorrect categorization, inaccurate cost basis calculations, and other filing mistakes that could put the trader at risk for penalties from the IRS.
The complexity of crypto taxes further amplifies these challenges. Crypto-to-crypto trades are treated differently than those involving fiat currencies, making it difficult to calculate accurate gains and losses on each trade correctly. Also, airdrops and forks add an additional layer of complexity; if not reported correctly, this could trigger costly fines down the line.
To ensure accuracy with their crypto tax reporting, many investors have turned toward automated software solutions like CryptoTrader.Tax which allows them to import all their trading data quickly and easily while providing complete control over how they want their information categorized and calculated into reports suitable for submitting directly to the IRS without any manual input needed.
Advantages Of Automated Crypto Tax Software
Accuracy is paramount when it comes to crypto tax reporting. Automated software can help ensure that you get your taxes done accurately and on time. Here are some of the advantages of using automated crypto tax software:
Firstly, with automated software, all your transactions will be tracked in one place. This makes it easy for users to quickly find what they need without having to manually go through records. Plus, many programs offer features such as data import from exchanges and wallets so that all relevant information is compiled in a single location.
Another advantage of automated crypto tax software is its accuracy. Programs can easily track complex transactions throughout different cryptocurrencies, making sure each transaction is properly accounted for come tax season. Furthermore, since these programs use real-time pricing data and support multiple currencies, users can rest assured knowing their reports will be up to date and accurate.
Finally, automated crypto tax programs provide an organized way to store documents related to filing cryptocurrency taxes so that everything remains secure and accessible whenever necessary. In addition, many also offer additional services like generating IRS forms or helping customers connect with certified accountants for further assistance if needed. These features make this type of program incredibly helpful and valuable for those looking for an efficient way to file cryptocurrency taxes correctly and quickly.
Legal Requirements Of Crypto Tax Reporting
Having the accurate information for crypto tax reporting is essential. Without it, individuals and businesses may be subject to penalties or other legal consequences from failing to meet their obligations. It's important to understand the various regulations that must be adhered to when filing taxes on earnings from cryptocurrencies. In this section, we'll discuss the legal requirements of crypto tax reporting and why accuracy is vital.
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has specific rules about how cryptocurrency transactions should be reported in order to comply with federal income tax laws. These include accurately tracking all purchases and sales of digital assets as well as documenting any gains or losses associated with them. Additionally, there are limits on how much capital can be deducted each year based on the type of asset being traded. As such, it's critical that taxpayers have an accurate understanding of these rules before beginning the process of filing taxes related to cryptocurrency trading activities.
Inaccurate reporting can lead to significant fines and other penalties, so it’s important for taxpayers to ensure they have complete and correct records of all their transactions throughout the course of a given year. Automated crypto tax software makes this easier by automatically tracking trades and calculating taxable amounts based on current market values; however, users still need to double-check the data entered into these programs before submitting their returns. Taking extra steps towards ensuring accuracy can help avoid costly mistakes during the filing process and reduce potential risks associated with noncompliance down the line.
Potential Penalties For Inaccurate Reporting
Accuracy is essential when filing cryptocurrency tax returns. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) takes reporting errors seriously, and taxpayers can face significant penalties for inaccurate or incomplete information.
The most common penalty associated with cryptocurrency taxes is an accuracy-related penalty. This type of penalty applies if the taxpayer has shown a disregard for rules or regulations, failed to make reasonable attempts at accurately calculating their taxes, or understated their liability by more than 25%. Furthermore, this penalty could also be levied if the taxpayer omits certain types of income on their return. Depending on the severity of the violation and length of time since it occurred, taxpayers may face fines ranging from 20% to 40% of the amount owed in additional taxes.
In addition to accuracy-related penalties, individuals may also incur other civil liabilities such as interest charges, documentary proof requirements, failure-to-file fees and delinquency penalties. It's important to note that criminal prosecution is possible in cases of fraud or intentional disregard for taxation laws. To avoid these potential scenarios, it’s best to review your crypto transactions carefully and utilize reliable software like CryptoTaxCalculator to ensure accurate reporting.
How To Select The Right Crypto Tax Software
Now that the potential penalties for inaccurate reporting have been discussed, it's time to look at how to select the right crypto tax software. The most important factor when selecting a program is accuracy. You need one that will accurately report your taxes so you don’t end up getting in trouble with the IRS or other authorities. Additionally, ease of use should also be taken into consideration since this will make filing and paying taxes much simpler and less stressful.
The first step in choosing a good crypto tax software is researching all available programs on the market. Read reviews from people who have used each program and decide which features are essential for you based on their experiences. Also consider any special features that may help streamline your accounting process such as automatic calculations or integration with external services like exchanges or wallets. Finally, compare prices between different programs to ensure you're getting the best value for your money.
When evaluating various crypto tax software products, remember to keep accuracy as your top priority. Check out user testimonials and read through customer satisfaction ratings to get an idea of what other users think about each product before making a decision. Certain programs might offer more features than others but if they aren't accurate then it could end up costing you more money in fines down the line due to incorrect reporting. Make sure whatever option you choose meets all of your requirements while providing reliable results over time.
Common Features Of Crypto Tax Software
Accuracy is essential when it comes to crypto tax reporting. Software can help provide users with the resources they need to accurately report their income from cryptocurrency transactions and investments. Crypto tax software typically offers features such as tracking of historical transaction data, portfolio analysis, cost basis calculation, capital gain/loss computation, a comprehensive view of all taxable events, automated import of trading history on multiple exchanges, ability to generate IRS-ready tax forms and more.
Taxpayers must be able to trust that their information will remain secure while using these tools. Many crypto tax software solutions incorporate top-notch security measures like two-factor authentication (2FA) and encryption technology to protect user accounts. They also use advanced algorithms and AI technologies to ensure accuracy in calculations so taxpayers don't have to worry about making mistakes that could lead to costly penalties or fees down the line.
Crypto tax software has become an invaluable tool for those who are serious about filing accurate reports; however, before choosing a solution it's important to consider which features best fit individual needs.
Benefits Of Accurate And Timely Reports
Accuracy and timeliness are two key components of successful crypto tax reporting. By using software, the accuracy of a report is greatly increased as it can detect errors that would be missed by manual calculations. Additionally, having accurate information available in real-time allows for more informed decisions to be made, increasing efficiency and reducing time spent on taxes.
Timely reports also save money as they enable taxpayers to respond quickly to changes in their situation or take advantage of incentives before they expire. Furthermore, with accurate data at hand, filing taxes becomes much easier and faster as all relevant information is already organized correctly. This means less effort has to be put into the process while still achieving the desired results; saving both time and money in the long run.
Software provides an efficient way to track transactions throughout the year, enabling users stay up-to-date with their current financial situation without constantly manually entering information into spreadsheets. This saves precious hours which can then be used for other important tasks such as developing strategies or analyzing trends within the market.
Best Practices For Submitting Reports
Having a clear understanding of the importance of accuracy in crypto tax reporting is essential for any cryptocurrency investor. Fortunately, there are numerous ways to ensure that you submit accurate and timely reports. The following best practices will help you maximize the accuracy of your submissions:
First and foremost, use software designed specifically for submitting crypto taxes. There are several reliable solutions available across different platforms, such as CoinTracker and CryptoTaxCalculator. These tools have built-in functions that can accurately calculate gains or losses based on historic data from multiple exchanges. This helps streamline the entire process, making it much easier to keep track of all transactions and correctly report them to authorities.
Second, double check each transaction before submitting your final report. To do this effectively, crosscheck the numbers with those provided by the exchange where they were made. Make sure everything adds up properly - if it doesn't add up, look into why not as soon as possible so you don't miss any important details when filing your taxes. Additionally, be aware of current tax laws related to cryptocurrencies; these may change over time so make sure you're familiar with them before submitting anything.
Finally, always maintain good records throughout the year and update them regularly with new information about trades or investments made during that period. Keeping an organized record makes it easy to review past activity and spot errors quickly when preparing for submission. Good record keeping also comes in handy should you need to provide more detailed evidence at a later date should an audit occur – which could save both time and money down the line!
How To Avoid Common Mistakes
Avoiding mistakes when filing taxes is essential for accurate reporting. To ensure accuracy, there are several steps that can be taken. First, it's important to keep organized records of all cryptocurrency transactions and related tax details throughout the year. This includes documenting purchases and sales of cryptocurrencies, income from trading activities, and any losses incurred. Additionally, receipts should be kept from exchanges or other third-party services used in crypto transactions.
Second, taxpayers should use reliable software products designed specifically for tracking crypto gains and losses during the tax period. Software programs such as CryptoTrader Tax help users accurately track their taxable events while providing additional features like audit logs and automated error detection. These programs also provide helpful guidance on how to file taxes correctly with information about capital gains calculations and IRS regulations regarding virtual currency taxation.
Finally, consult a financial advisor or professional accountant if you're unsure about anything related to your crypto taxes. Professional services can assist with understanding complex tax issues and guide users through proper filing procedures according to federal requirements. With these precautions in place, taxpayers will have peace of mind knowing they've done their due diligence in order to properly report cryptocurrency earnings and minimize potential penalties from inaccurate filings.
Frequently Asked Questions
How Long Does It Take To Generate An Accurate Crypto Tax Report?
Figuring out how long it takes to generate an accurate crypto tax report can be a daunting task. The amount of time this process requires depends on several factors, such as the type of cryptocurrency you have and the complexity of your overall financial situation. It's important to take the appropriate steps when creating your report in order to ensure accuracy.
The first step is obtaining information from all sources that could influence your taxes, like exchanges or other platforms where you buy and sell coins. After gathering the necessary data, it's critical to organize it into categories for easy reference later on. This will save both time and energy throughout the rest of the reporting process since everything will already be broken down into organized chunks.
Once all of the paperwork has been taken care of, it’s time to start generating a crypto tax report. There are many software programs available which simplify this task by taking most of the guesswork out of calculating gains and losses over different periods. Most applications allow users to sync their wallets and exchanges directly with them in order to quickly access transaction data without any manual inputting required. With these tools at hand, anyone should be able to create an accurate crypto tax report in no time!
Are There Any Tax Incentives For Investing In Cryptocurrency?
Investing in cryptocurrency can be a great way to diversify your financial portfolio, but it's important to consider the tax implications involved. One of the main questions investors ask is if there are any potential tax incentives for investing in cryptocurrency. This article will discuss this question and explore whether or not these investments can offer tangible benefits when it comes to taxes.
First, we'll look at different types of taxes that may apply to an investor's crypto holdings. For example, capital gains tax applies on profits made from selling crypto assets. Similarly, income tax might be applicable if you receive payments in cryptocurrencies. These taxes should always be taken into consideration before investing as they could significantly reduce any profits earned from digital currency investment.
In addition to traditional taxation methods, some countries have implemented specific tax breaks and exemptions related to cryptocurrency investments. In France, for instance, individuals who invest up to €3000 per year are exempt from paying capital gains taxes on their crypto assets. There are also certain jurisdictions where no taxation is applied on crypto-related activities at all – such as Bermuda or Gibraltar – making them attractive locations for those looking to maximize returns without incurring additional costs in terms of taxation.
It's clear that while some governments do offer favorable taxation policies towards cryptocurrency investments, each individual must take time to research their own country’s regulations and laws surrounding digital currencies before beginning trading activity. Doing so will help ensure that investors remain compliant with local laws and reap the full benefit of any available incentive programs offered by authorities around the world.
Can I File A Crypto Tax Report Myself Or Do I Need To Hire A Professional?
Figuring out how to file a cryptocurrency tax report can be daunting. Do you need to hire an expert or is it possible to do yourself? It’s important to know the answer, as mistakes in crypto tax reporting can have serious consequences.
If you are comfortable with financial accounts and taxes, then filing your own crypto tax report may be feasible. You will need access to software that simplifies tracking and calculating gains on any cryptocurrency transactions made during the year. Not all of these programs offer the same features, so it's important to choose one that meets your needs.
For those who don't feel confident doing their own crypto tax reports, there are professionals available for consultation or full-service filing services accessible online or by phone. Hiring an experienced advisor helps ensure accuracy and completeness when preparing returns, which could save time and money in the long run if done correctly. Before hiring anyone, make sure they understand the complexities of filing a crypto return - not all accountants specialize in this area yet.
It pays to get advice from qualified experts, whether through self-help resources or a professional service provider, before tackling a cryptocurrency tax report alone. Taking extra care now could help avoid costly errors down the line and give peace of mind knowing everything has been taken care of properly.
Are There Any Country-Specific Regulations Regarding Crypto Tax Reporting?
When it comes to crypto tax reporting, many countries have their own regulations that need to be followed. It's essential for individuals and businesses who are investing in cryptocurrencies or using them as a payment method to understand the laws related to taxation within their jurisdiction. This is especially true when filing taxes with software, as accuracy is of utmost importance.
To properly comply with any country-specific regulations regarding cryptocurrency tax reporting, investors must become familiar with the relevant laws. Depending on where you live and what type of investments you make, there may be certain considerations that must be taken into account when filing your returns. For example, some countries require taxpayers to declare gains from trading digital currencies separately from other capital income sources. Additionally, if you're dealing in large amounts of cryptocurrency transactions over long periods of time, then you'll likely need to pay more attention to these details than those just making occasional purchases or sales of coins.
It's important to note that even though different jurisdictions may have specific rules governing crypto taxes, most governments still view cryptocurrencies as property rather than currency for tax purposes. As such, profits made off of buying and selling digital assets can typically be taxed like any other asset class – this means keeping track of purchase prices and sale proceeds so that taxable gains can be calculated accurately come tax season. Crypto traders should keep records not only for the current year but also backdated years in case they get audited by local authorities at any point down the line.
By understanding applicable regulations concerning crypto tax reporting ahead of time and taking proper measures to ensure compliance with the law throughout the year, individuals and companies alike can avoid potential penalties while ensuring accurate filings each year no matter how complex their portfolios might be.
Does Cryptocurrency Tax Reporting Differ From Traditional Tax Reporting?
When it comes to cryptocurrency tax reporting, does it differ from traditional tax reporting? This is an important question for anyone involved in the crypto industry. After all, no one wants to get on the wrong side of the law when it comes to filing taxes.
There are some distinct differences between crypto and traditional tax reporting systems. For example, most countries have specific regulations related to the taxation of cryptocurrencies that may not apply to more standard forms of income. In addition, there are also certain complexities associated with calculating gains or losses on digital assets such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. These calculations can be difficult due to their volatile nature, so tracking them accurately is essential.
Finally, while both types of tax filings require accuracy and attention to detail, this is especially important when dealing with cryptocurrency taxes because mistakes could lead to serious financial penalties or even criminal charges. Therefore, those involved in the space should seek out reliable tools and services designed specifically for accurate crypto tax filing purposes. Doing so will help ensure compliance and avoid any potential issues down the line.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
In conclusion, it's essential to understand the importance of accurate crypto tax reporting with software. It doesn't take long to generate an accurate report if you have a reputable platform in place; however, it does require attention and care. There aren't many incentives for investing in cryptocurrency but understanding your local regulations is key for filing any type of taxes correctly. Although the process may differ from traditional taxation methods, there are still certain steps that need to be taken when completing a crypto tax report. I hope this article has provided some useful information on how to accurately complete crypto tax reporting with software.

it seems the whole world can be valued in dollars
and we do need a method of exchange, for work done and for goods & services, for gifts and inheritances.
yet the value of paper currency falls over time decreasing purchasing power, and the value of work doesn’t always keep up with the inflation.
long ago people weighed out gold & silver as money for exchange, which is honest (if the scales were honest) since the weight of authentic gold and silver doesn’t change. gravity holds it in place. but it is quite heavy to move around. yet, nations have been born and fallen according to their wealth and many wars have been fought over gold. and then there’s oil where we’ve seen much of the same. this world is a power struggle, in the natural and spiritually.
earth contains many natural resources that have been mined, and it all actually belongs to our Creator. the economic world ruled by men and governments has been far from a perfect method, and eventually it will become a force of control over the whole world. yet, it is destined to fall as well. this world we now see and live in, along with its vast technological developments is all a temporal state of being. eventually the eternal King will return from Heaven to restore the True nature of things. the very planet we now see is destined to be removed at some point, with its long and tragic History of sin and death, to be burned by fire. God will make A new earth where Justice and peace is secure. it will be pure.
A reprise of Today’s closing chapter of the ancient letter of 2nd Peter:
This is now, my dear friends, my second letter to you. In both of them, I have tried to inspire you to a sincere and pure way of thinking by reminding you of what you already know. Remember the words spoken earlier by God’s holy prophets and the commandment that our Lord and Savior gave to you through your emissaries. Above all, be sure to remember that in the last days mockers will come, following their own desires and taunting you, saying, “So what happened to the promised second coming of Jesus? For everything keeps going just the way it has since our ancestors fell asleep in death; since the beginning of creation, nothing’s changed.”
When they make fun of you, it’s as if the scoffers are deliberately forgetting that long ago when God spoke the word, the heavens came into existence and the earth formed from water and by water. The waters later flooded and destroyed that world. By that same word, the heavens and earth we see now are being reserved for destruction by fire, preserved until the time comes for the godless on the day of judgment.
Don’t imagine, dear friends, that God’s timetable is the same as ours; as the psalm says, for with the Lord, one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day.
Now the Lord is not slow about enacting His promise—slow is how some people want to characterize it—no, He is not slow but patient and merciful to you, not wanting anyone to be destroyed, but wanting everyone to turn away from following his own path and to turn toward God’s.
The day of the Lord will come unexpectedly like a thief in the night; and on that day, the sky will vanish with a roar, the elements will melt with intense heat, and the earth and all the works done on it will be seen as they truly are. Knowing that one day all this will come to pass, think what sort of people you ought to be—how you should be living faithful and godly lives, waiting hopefully for and hastening the coming of God’s day when the heavens will vanish in flames and the elements melt away with intense heat. What will happen next, and what we hope for, is what God promised: a new heaven and a new earth where justice reigns.
So, my friends, while we wait for the day of the Lord, work hard to live in peace, without flaw or blemish; and look at the patience of the Lord as your salvation. Our dearly loved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, has written about this. He says essentially the same in all of his letters, although uneducated and unstable readers misinterpret the difficult passages, just as they always misread Scripture, to their spiritual ruin.
So hear my final words, my friends. Now that I have warned you about what’s ahead, keep up your guard and don’t let unprincipled people pull you away from the sure ground of the truth with their lies and misunderstandings. Instead, grow in grace and in the true knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Anointed, to whom be glory, now and until the coming of the new age. Amen.

Unity between the consciousness of living beings makes manifestation journeys easier as good karma currency adds to the blessing pulling/drawing power of the soul. If, however, none of these plants are available then tend to some other plant. So, your speaking out will enable and empower them to join your manifestation journey. Plants, we Hindus have always believed have ‘pran’ or consciousness, and they do understand affection and even reciprocate with tenderness. Make it a point to speak out about your desires. Peepal or Banyan or any mature tree or Tulsi plant or Lotus can be tended to during this time. Feed and nurture animals, birds, or aquatic animals and provide water to plants and trees. If seen in the waking state on a regular basis and the person is sure that it is this energy that he/she is working with then claim this energy with folded hands and ask the Devas or the Guides to assist in claiming what you think is you deserve.Īlso, make it a point to eat healthy and cruelty-free food. If Angel Number 1313 appears in the dream state, then expect the doors of prosperity to open up as soon as the dream is seen. One may not believe it, but many do see numbers in a dream! It depends a lot on the karma of the person like how much self-love and mentally strong he/she has become.Īlso, comes the next question has this person seen Angel Number 1313 in a dream state? Now, what is the scope of the energy i.e. It is always better to read about these and gather maximum information.Īngel Number 1313 is also a sign of ascension in the 3D world, as the material blessings like communications, connections, fame, and money land first. This person may have been witnessing Angel Number 22, Angel Number 33, Angel Number 777, and Angel Number 1008 prior to seeing Angel Number 1313. Hence, Angel Number 1313 or 13:13 represents life’s blessings like love, money, power, fame, and siddhis/powers blooming. This Angel Number represents huge monetary breakthroughs coming along with the love energy.
#1313 ANGEL NUMBER TWIN FLAME HOW TO#
It also represents the power of speech and also of mental powers like remembering the past lives and how to tap into the knowledge of those lives the individual has lived so far.Īngel Number 1313 also represents an imminent union with a Twin Flame or Soulmate who would also imbibe the same set of values and the same passion.Īngel Number 1313 is also a mark of a superior being who has undergone a lot in his/her life, thus making his/her physical body like a vessel enabling it to store more and more energy. Angel Number 1313 or Angel Number 13:13 symbolizes the changes coming to the life of a person.

OFFICETIME ALTERNATIVE SOFTWARE
OFFICETIME ALTERNATIVE INSTALL
On the other hand, DeskTime requires that you invite employees to join you and install additional browser extension so you can track URLs. Installation of Insightful is much simpler than DeskTime, because Insightful contains one small installation file and you can either invite your employees through email to install it, or you can use an active directory and install it on all office computers at once. On the other hand, Insightful leads when it comes to security because it can be installed in stealth mode, which makes it perfect if you’re trying to catch someone red-handed. Once the time runs out, Insightful will keep tracking activities. You can limit the private time during the day, so employees aren’t able to exploit this option. When this option is turned on, Insightful stops tracking everything. Which is why we created a Private Time option, which employees can select while they’re on their break. Employees can easily forget to turn back on the employee screenshot monitoring software, once they’re back from the break. However, at Insightful, we believe that such a system is susceptible to human error.
OFFICETIME ALTERNATIVE SOFTWARE
Additionally, screenshots are taken at random times during the hour (you set the frequency), or with Insightful you can take an instant screenshot whenever you need it.ĭeskTime allows employees to turn off the software when they want, for example if they’re on their break. While this feature might be excellent as an added security layer, it can definitely be considered more intrusive, and it could endanger your employees’ privacy.īoth solutions have a screenshot option, which you can turn on or off. We’re saying this because it’s able to track direct URLs, while Insightful only shows you the name of the website employee is visiting. However, you could say that DeskTime is in a way more aggressive when it comes to monitoring features. Depending on how you set them up, it’s likely you could get the same information from both versions of the software.ĭespite the similarities, these two software have some major differences and we’re going to present them in three different groups:īoth of these solutions are capable of tracking computer activities automatically. They both fall into the time tracking software/employee monitoring category, so they are very similar. Insightful is the perfect DeskTime alternative. Heaven Sent : Chapter 1 | The New World
Trigger Warning | Sexual Situations, Gore, Abuse, Foul Language.
Five years have gone by since the rapture, the world found its "new normal" over time.
Daily life for a human is usually working a dead end job that the angels and demons think they're too good for; the highest position a mortal is allowed and the most revered is a waiter or waitress.
It definitely beats being a pothole repairman, and by potholes that usually means the gaping holes in the earth that lead to the fiery pits of hell.
But the good news is we've finally got a handle on global warming.
Currency has changed a lot as well, but don't you worry it's not the mighty "Satan dollar" or anything like that! No, we exchange souls now – little polished metal disks with a glowing blue center.
Angels figured out how to confine them in nickel for easier transport to heaven, which also makes it easier for humans to steal.
If you're a lucky human you'll have defended your home from the demons and angels for the past five years and get to sleep in a warm bed at night.
On the flip side if you did not manage to fight of the inhuman invaders or the very human ones – then you might be staying somewhere similar to my home.
A dilapidated mom and pop grocery store, lovingly named "Straus Sprouts", overgrown with weeds and other foliage that has taken back what once belonged to it, boarded windows covered with fabric in a desperate attempt to keep out too much of the blazing sun, as well as an inside of knocked over shelves, halfheartedly swept glass, and barren inventory.
In the back beneath an old woman's once-loved knitted carpet and under the floor boards is where you'll find the bedroom, strings of lights following along the perimeter of a depression-era bunker – no doubt the previous store owner feared it would be used for when another country invaded the U.S. and not when God decided to make good on a centuries old threat.
A mattress was shoved in the corner with several rescued blankets on top of it, crowded around it in the cramped space are various canned foods, jarred meals, some books – if not for reading then for burning in the winter, a box of sewing supplies and a stack of rescued clothes.
Home sweet home...
Today was no different than any other day, wake up to the sound of the usual raider trying to find souls or food inside the storefront, wait for them to leave and take a handful of the souls in my sewing box – just enough for an emergency.
I crawl out of my hidey-hole and walk to the back of the store where the previous owner's garden is still flourishing, though it looks like whoever was in the store just before me has decided to stomp over some of the tomato plants.
That's annoying...
I can still help myself to some that have just started turning red before hurrying to work.
I'm pretty lucky since I've nabbed a waitressing job – is it at a place called "Honking Hotties"? Yes.
Is it a strip club themed after classic cars? Also yes.
But does it pay? I'm luckier than most since I'm guaranteed one soul each day, so I'd say the answer is yes.
Honking Hotties is everything the name suggests, a demon-owned business with benches around the dancer's stage themed after various tail lights of classic cars.
The dancer's themselves all have names like "Clancy Cadillac", "Ruby Rolls-Royce", "Missy Mustang", and the crowd favorite "Irene Impala".
A waitress like me gets blessed with a uniform that could be labelled "sexy mechanic jumpsuit" in the pre-rap times, and don't you forget the thigh high go-go boots or Ralph will cut you from that day's pay.
Trust me I've been there.
"Little Bo Peep! There's my hard-working girl!" Ralph is decked out with his brown leather pants and matching jacket – no shirt underneath so he can flaunt his two- pack abs and curly unmanaged chest hair, not unlike the curly 80's mop he had on his head.
He pinched my cheek while I wrote down my time on our time sheets, technology was a luxury only angels and demons got to use and most business-owning demons liked seeing us mortals without the advancements of technology to help us in our day-to-day tasks.
"Good Morning Ralph." I managed a small smile.
"You like working here, right Bo Peep?"
"Of course Ralph."
"Then why am I getting calls from the contracting side of town saying that I'm being used as a reference for a resume?"
"I-It's nothing, I was just hoping to try for a higher-paying job-."
"You hurt me, little lamb; I was going to get you on the stage soon."
"No thank you Ralph, I don't think I would be a good fit."
"Why not? Do you think you're better than them?" He gestured at the girl on the stage with his thumb, twirling and teasing as several patrons had their hands down their pants in the dimly-lit room. "Don't forget that you were left here too, just like Polly Porsche."
"I won't forget Ralph."
"And...?"
"And I'm sorry I applied anywhere else."
"I can't stay mad at you!" He slapped me on the ass and pointed out one of the patrons that seemed to have the least torn clothes. "Now go make me some money before I decide to cut you off from today's wages."
"Thank you Ralph."
I hurried over to the man and asked for his order, most of the patrons ask for the same thing – water.
When you spend enough time with your hand behind your zipper then you have the need to replenish your fluids, so to speak.
Pre-Rap water was free, Post-Rap no one cared what your basic needs were – everything demands souls.
I headed to the bar and picked up one of the waters the bartender prepared ahead of time, no ice – ice costs extra.
When I handed it off to the man he drank it eagerly before throwing me two souls that were crusted with whatever was going on downstairs.
The good part about being a waitress at a demon-owned strip club is that you'll never be touched – since that costs extra, so the customers tend to keep their hands to themselves (literally) to save money and reserve it for the water they will no doubt need.
The clock is an hour away from midnight, most customers have reached their limit on how long they can fill a bench – usually it costs two souls for two hours, if you stay longer then ... say it with me... it costs extra.
We've been known to stay open late because one patron has decided they really need more time and will keep paying the extra souls and if the patron has been generous enough to go all night then Ralph will give all the servers an extra soul.
And of course just three minutes before midnight someone decides to waltz through the door!
My veins have turned to ice, the bartender drops a glass she was polishing, and even Irene Impala hesitates as she slides her cheeks down the pole. I look to Ralph and I'm assuming the rest of the girls are doing the same, he is already standing in the dim lighting outside of his office with his arms crossed.
I can see his greedy grin from the bar.
An angel takes his seat at the very front of the stage.
