moving on, the subtitled version of the episodes are very well done for what they are but it's still not good, you won't understand what's going on properly. meanings are lost. a dub is much more accessible to those who can't read subs and generally a necessary option. people NEED dubs. don't get me wrong, the iranian fansub team are dedicated however subs are much easier for fans to do than dubbing. as you heard, kuro's persian fandub was frankly terrible. these kids didn't even know how to pronounce ciel's name and it's NOT because of the language barrier, my theory is that because the internet access is so limited, they had to figure out how to pronounce ciel's name purely from the japanese original or another lang dub and had no access to the eng dub. as you can see, they are not able to follow the mouth movements either (don't have editing software); i assume the internet restrictions targeted streaming platforms w the dub on it (because the government wants to CONTROL what media people consume) so they had to figure everything out from japanese or another language, (they probably used another fandub to translate since the ed seems to credit the eng vas while they can never be heard in the bg) which is not easy. unfortunately english is taught in schools around the world not japanese so the dubbers' translation was quite honestly terrible- after all, they had no official script to base their translation off. BUT if a professional dubbing studio (e.g. iran's glory entertainment) got their hands on kuro, it'd probably be dubbed very well. if mehrdad raissi, CEO of glory, was on for seb's role, it would be glorious (pun intended). if he did flynn rider well, he can do sebs well too. but that studio often has their shows played on state televisions and the last thing they want is to get blacklisted and arrested for dubbing the gay demon butler anime. please do not take this fandub as representing all persian-language dubs. and remember, kuro itself is banned for being problematic media in counties like iran... no sebaciel needed (although anyone can definitely see the gay undertones to the story from a cover alone).

if you want to ban people from shipping things or making fan works that are problematic... soon you'll have to get rid of problematic media in general. and already, antis sound like the media people in charge under a dictatorship. hihi omg i just had the most fun night ever last night with my friends 😭

we competed at this speech and debate tournament and basically it lasts all day long from like 7 am to 9 pm and it goes for two days and yesterday we went around doing the rounds and we ended up winning a lot of shit but like the 12 or so of us ended up driving to mcdonalds at like 8 pm to eat right before awards started 😭😭 and after like 40 minutes like 10 ppl called us screaming that awards are starting so we all js ran out and ended up speeding at like an 80 in a freaking neighborhood and one thing led to another and we were having like a car race getting there and cursing out each other while driving and luckily there were no cops nearby.. 🥺

ended up arriving in like a record 1 min 30 sec when it shoudlve taken around 7 minutes or more..

just wanted to share this wild memory cs it was so much freaking fun!

Day 17 - Jan 17 - Grindelwald/Jungfraujoch

I woke up super early for NO REASON bc I didn’t even make my original train. I was sad that I was leaving so I took my fine time. I pooped and then I packed up, went down to breakfast at 7:10ish. The breakfast buffet was so nice!! The restaurant was super pretty and the mountain was just appearing as the sun was rising. There was an omelette station but I just got scrambled eggs, some mini waffles (bad), fruit, cheese to sample, and coffee. Turns out they had yogurt lol I didn’t have to buy yesterday. Wish I had known.

I was originally planning to get to the train station for the 7:48am departure but I took too long to eat and poop again, and then the front desk wasn’t open so I couldn’t check out until 7:55am :( the lady said the bus ran every 15 mins but I waited and it never came so I just walked down to the Grindelwald station and waited for the 8:18am departure. There was a huge group of Korean tourists that all went WHAAAA at a flock of birds flying away

Anyways that group left on a different train and I hopped on mine. Once I got to the terminal, it looked like there were only skiers and I was like uhh wtf am I not supposed to be here.. but eventually I saw 2-3 other tourists. The lockers didn’t work so I had to pay 10 francs to put them in the peoples back office -_-

The view up was soooo pretty!! It’s kind of cloudy today but I think it’s supposed to clear up a bit at the top. Idk I hope so at least.

I went to the bathroom once we got to Eigergletscher since the next train wasn’t departing for 20 mins and literally when I got out of the stall, a bunch of people were waiting in line and then this huge ass group of like 40 Korean tourists showed up at the ticket line I was like wtf

We got on the tram and it was a 30min or so ride up, through a tunnel in the mountain.

OoF this altitude!! We took a stop at Eismeer and of course it’s cloudy and shit so you can’t really see anything but you can see how vast the snow valley is. And it’s windy so it was cool to see the little snow storm

Once we got to the top; the swarm of Korean tourists began hahah I did the tour a little out of order because it was so chaotic but it worked out! My selfie stick really came in clutch

Unfortunately it was super cloudy and windy so you can’t really see much 😭😭 but I got some cool photos and they even had a little picture op showing that this was a film location for Crash Landing on You.

The Lindt workshop area didn’t appear to be open and Restaurant Crystal looked closed too but I found out it just opened at 11am so I just waited a couple minutes for it open and ordered my alcoholic coffee and cheesecake 😊 took my Pepcid AND lactaid like a responsible asian. Lowkey I was hoping the sky would clear up a little before I left 🥲 it did not lol so I left.. a little disappointing but tbh I should’ve checked. When I checked, it said it was gonna be sunny but it LIED or I forget when it was supposed to be sunny and I left too early.. but I rather go to Lausanne than wait for the chance of it potentially clearing up even though it looked very unlikely. NEVERTHELESS, I am grateful for the opportunity and it felt cool to just be at the top. It does have a kind of surreal splendor being that high up surrounded by snow and winds. It feels like I shouldn’t be there considering how wild the weather is. Wish it was a little/lot clearer but no regrets!!!

Ok I’m on the last train rn to Lausanne.. and oh my god. Taking trains in Switzerland is nice but sometimes you gotta pray your train is on time or you’ll mess up your ENTIRE schedule. I’m done with transfers now but I just took 3 trains to get to where I am now. If I missed any of them, I’d be panicking.. the train from Interlaken to Spielz was stressful bc we just stopped 10 mins out from the station to wait for an oncoming train??? So the announcer said we’d be a few minutes late and I was like BRUH we’re supposed to arrive at 1:51 and then I’m supposed to catch a different train at 1:54!!!! What do you MEAN A FEW MINUTES LATE

Luckily we were on time or just a minute or so late and it’s a small station so I just sprinted across the platform and got on the next train. I’ve had to take out my passport every single time they check my ticket, but luckily I think I only have to do it once more after this when I take this train later to get to Geneva. It’s been snowing all over the country, it’s quite pretty!

I got hungry and ate the last pretzel bread, but as I was eating I realized that this bread is like 3 days old.. like I brought it all the way from Salzburg, Austria… oh well, it’s in tummy now. Along with the random shit I had for breakfast, a coffee with whipped cream and Williams, and a cheesecake. Lol.

Je is back on the train to Geneva - it’s 6:15pm. I have sweat so much today. I am wearing SO MANY LAYERS. I went from being in -18 degree weather to like 35/40 degree weather carrying all my bags and walking up hills. To say I was sweating at the Olympic Museum is a SEVERE understatement. I thought I was gonna have a freaking panic attack, but I didn’t wanna waste time by taking layers off bc the museum was closing in 2 hours. The museum was suuuuper cool!! Gave a history of the Olympics going back to the origin in Athens and moving to modern Olympics who apparently a French man brought back in the early 1920s, ain’t that wild! He was very much about the unity of art and sport. There were exhibits on the development of Olympic sport, the host cities, the demonstration of art and culture, ALL the torches from the ceremonies displayed, and the stories behind them all. I wish I had more time bc it was truly so cool. Then they had an exhibit of artifacts donated by athletes and the games. The last one was more interactive and shows the athletes village, their nutrition/health/well-being, and a zone for people to play games and such. Quite cool, quite cool indeed. Again, wish I had more time. But I rushed the last bit to make sure I had time to walk through the gift shop really quick, go to the bathroom, and grab my stuff. I took a couple of quick photos at the Olympic park and started back. I feel so musty at this point (and hungry) that I just wanted to get to Geneva. I walked back to the metro and hopped on the Ouchy line back to Lausanne Gare. It’s only 2 very quick stops, but when we hit the first stop, this man came SLIDING into the door and ended up not even getting in. His foot didn’t make it through the train door, only the station door. It looked so painful though - he was a pretty skinny man and I think he slipped on accident. He got up pretty fast though. But I gasped really loudly bc it felt like a cartoon in a movie.

Anyways I got on the train. It’s quite packed. I wanted to eat but I don’t wanna eat in front of all these people so I guess I wait until I get to Geneva.. and walk 10-15 mins to my hostel 😭😭.. and check in… 😭😭😭

Okay so I almost had a real accident last night AND today and it was totally miserable, but you guys will appreciate it anyway 😭

I went out drinking last night with some friends at a bar I have never been to before. I had two waters and two drinks and they hit my bladder all at once. I talked with my friends a little longer because I was enjoying the conversation, and then I headed to the restrooms. I walk into the men’s bathroom and oh my god they ONLY had urinals. No stall. No toilet. So I leave and luckily they also had a unisex bathroom. So I knock. No answer. Try to open it. Locked. So I stand outside the bathroom door for 10 minutes, crossing my legs and shifting, trying to look casual. Eventually the person leaves and I have the HARDEST piss of my life. It was so relieving…I had to go again before we left about 30 minutes later. Luckily nobody was in there, because by then I was getting pretty drunk and don’t know if I could’ve handled waiting.

Then TODAY, for my sister’s birthday we (me and my two sisters) pile into the car for a 2 hour drive to a Japanese market that has food, shops, bookstores, etc. I went to the bathroom before we left, and had literally only half of a bottle of iced green tea and a few sips of water. For whatever reason, an hour into the ride, I’m suddenly feeling full. I press on my bladder, thinking, “maybe I’m not actually full and I’m psyching myself out.” Oof. That press hurt. Now I work in a restaurant and have an IRON bladder. I can wait hours to go to the bathroom. But I think the alcohol from the night before did me in, because not 20 minutes later, my bladder feels like a huge water balloon on the verge of bursting. I was legitimately scared I was going to piss myself. There was 40 minutes left of the ride and I was getting nervous. We were on the highway. I finally spoke up when the GPS said we were taking an exit in 2 miles. I asked if we could stop at the first gas station when we get off on the exit and they said sure no problem. I didn’t tell them how urgent it was. 20 more minutes later (20 mins left of the ride) I’m constantly shifting my feet and clenching and unclenching my muscles. There has been absolutely no sign of a gas station, convenience store, or ANYTHING. I’m scared I’m going to wet my tan shorts and have to literally turn around and go home after an hour and 40 minutes of driving, ruining my sister’s birthday. FINALLY, with only 12 minutes of the ride left, I spot a Walgreens. We pull in, and when I got out of the car, I felt like I had a fucking boulder sitting above my hips. I couldn’t stand up completely straight, it was that tight. I manage to carefully walk at a slightly faster pace into the Walgreens. I don’t see a sign for a restroom, and the cashier was busy, so I walked up to the pharmacy counter. There was one man back there. I said “excuse me” before realizing he was on the phone. He held up a finger to give him a minute. I did NOT have a minute left. I’ve never been this desperate in my life. I hobble around the back of the store, I’ve now walked almost the entire perimeter of it and there’s a creeping horror that this Walgreens might not have a public restroom. I’m starting to freak out, because if they don’t, I will NOT make it to another place before my bladder gives out. Finally, I see a hallway. No signs or anything. Go down past a break room, and FINALLY see a bathroom. There was one stall in that bathroom. Someone was looking out for me, because it was empty. When I sat down, my bladder had a hard time letting go for a second…and then it gushed out of me so hard I’m sure anyone could’ve heard it from outside. I peed for a minute straight and then it stopped…another gush…stop…another gush…and kept going on like that for another minute. By the time I finished, my shorts felt loose!

I couldn’t believe the irony of the whole situation, I was TERRIFIED Y’ALL. Anyways.

TLDR: I almost pissed myself and ruined my sister’s birthday.

OKAY THIS IS A SAFE PLACE AND HERE IS MY NO SPOILERS REVIEW ( not exactly a review but my feelings after i have seen The Film )

Before Speaking about how i felt i wanted to say this i was like not at all interested in Shang-Chi because this is an origin story and i have never read any shang-Chi comics before i mean i do know him from Spiderman cross overs and other crossovers in marvel also lets be honest its Simu liu he's not like Jackie chan or sth 😭 So i was obviously not at all excited but since i am shameless mcu slut since ironman1 i just fucking couldn't stop myself from Watching Shang-Chi on sep3rd and damn God i was spell Bound After watching the Film 😳🙌🏻 and i want to kick myself very badly for underestimating Simu Liu , He was so fucking good and Every cast member in the Film did a Marvellous Job by bringing the Characters to life and creating this epic of a cinema .

The Film starts in such a great note and the opening sequence itself is something out of the world and something that we all have never seen in a Mcu film and the director Daniel Cretton did not waste a single second once the film has started he took the audience straight into the story and even the visuals were too good to be true during the first 10 - 15 mins 👀 if you see the movie i will understand what i mean , it was Epic .

Simu Liu and Awkwafina's Chemistry was really refreshing to watch it on screen and it worked really great for me and i can't wait to see more of them 😏❤ ( i actually thought Awkwafina would ruin the atmosphere of the film when i saw her on screen but she was one of the best parts of the film 🤗 )

Considering This is Meng Zhang's first big role in a movie i think she did a phenomenal job not only she's insanely hot and pretty i loved her a lot in the action Sequences , she did a fine and perfect job and i am actually scared if Marvel is gonna Ruin her character in the future with silly Jokes and stuff 😭 Because i don't want that as the character has a very big potential and a lots of untapped Trauma behind her and i want the makers to explore more of that side and want them to showcase her bad-assery in the future i would even go further and Say more than Shang-Chi i could able to relate more with Xialing and i loved her more 👀❤

THE FIRST ACT WAS GREAT

The second act kinda Flat but

THE THIRD ACT WAS FUCKING MAGICAL , BAT SHIT CRAZY AND EPIC which makes up for the flat second act and the visuals , the CGI , the action scenes , The war , the battle and emotional moments in the end everything worked fucking fine and perfect for me and i think you can just watch Shang-Chi alone only for the last 30-40 mins , IT WAS THAT EPIC

i don't really have anything to complain except a very few things

1. i expected some real-Time action choreography sequences like in Hong kong action movies that we regularly see without too many cuts i mean come on i know its a cbm and its a mcu film but atleast one single take action sequence should have been there in the movie anyways its not a big deal this is sth personal for me and what i expected but other than that action sequences were incredible in the film and may be the best action choreography so far in the Mcu ?

2. SIMU LIU AKA SHANG-CHI WAS FUCKING UNDER-USED is what i think , This is His Fucking Film , His origin so i Hope they will make it for this mistake in the next sequal

3. Just like 80% of The Mcu Films The villain characterisation was so bad , dumb and ridiculous .

and That's it i have nothing else to complain or point my fingers at .

Finally The acting was great , visuals were top-notch, even tho it is a pretty simple origin story the story telling was good and entertaining and the Film has a lot of heart and you can fucking feel it when you are watching it on screen , i will not say The makers did something out of the world Shang-Chi is Basically A Regular Epic Action Drama we all see in Chinese movies but the Director Daniel Cretton has Presented it in a completely new way by adding some elements to fit both the western and universal appeal in a very stylish manner and he fucking knew what he was doing and he did it with most respectable manner .

so i guess i gave you guys enough reasons to watch the Film and please fucking watch it if it is released in cinemas near you PLEASE DON'T MISS IT coz this is a type of Film which you are supposed to only WATCH IN CINEMAS and if you scared and if the pandemic situation still sucks in your place then its fine i can understand so don't pirate it better watch it on disney plus when it gets released which is either october 17th or sth and if you are vaccinated and if Shang-Chi released in cinemas near you then PLEASE FUCKING WATCH IT ASAP , trust me you will love the movie and take all the necessary precautions even if you are vaccinated coz you will still catch the covid even if you are fully vaccinated , the vaccine only reduces the severity .

also some of you might think Marvel made this movie to target China but that's not fucking true Marvel already dominates the China Market and has been dominating it since Avengers ( 2012 ) and most of you don't know this but Shang-Chi maynot release in China coz apparently according to the government rules they don't accept to release a foreign movie where Villain is a chinese guy and the protagonist is someone who's Mixed ( Half-Chinese ) and some of the dweebs infact many in Chinese community thing Simu liu is not attractive enough to lead Shang-chi and they have been harassing him and making fun of him in internet since he was casted ... these mother fucking incompetent chinese government couldn't Stop the spread of covid from their country and entire world is suffering because of them but have these weird absurd directorshippy Rules when it comes to cinema ? mfs even cut the gay scenes from foreign films or entirely ban the film in their country huh so guess we have to fucking support this movie please watch it if you have the chance to watch it and the film requires 375M$ for the break even which is kind of very hard right now considering the pandemic and all but is definitely possible coz the word of mouth is really great and you guys also need to watch it with your families if Shang-Chi becomes a Hit then the eternals gets released on time and so will SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME 👀 so please go and watch it asap
