I have an update on my living situation and I have some good news! (For once.) Mom and I finally found a place that’s in our price range, isn’t too small, includes heat, and it’s not in a sussy neighborhood! We applied for the place a couple of days ago and we were approved! We’ve attempted to take a tour of the new place earlier today, but as we were driving down there, the person who we are working with for the location, called us and had to cancel due to other tenants in the area giving them trouble and we’ll reschedule it for a different day. We still took the opportunity to explore the neighborhood a little bit since we were almost there anyway and from what Mom and I have seen while driving, we were impressed and liked what we saw. There’s more to explore, but that’s for another time once we move in and get settled. The only thing that sucks is that we won’t be able to take our internet service with us as they don’t serve the area we’re moving to. So, we’ll have to search for another ISP and I’m praying that we don’t have to use satellite internet because, we all know how “reliable” it is! We’ll most likely have to switch phone carriers too as our phone services are tied to our current ISP, which is Spectrum.

On a somewhat related note, we’ll have to downsize our stuff as well as from what I’m hearing from Mom, the bedrooms are small, but not teeny tiny. She mentioned that a Queen size bed will fit great, although how great remains to be seen at this point in time. As for the king size bed, no. The rooms are too small for it. Regardless, a lot of changes need to be made and a lot of downsizing will need to be commenced. If everything goes as planned, our move in date will be on October 15th! (Maybe sooner, but who knows.) Thank God we won’t be homeless! I’ll keep you all updated as time goes on and we get closer to the move in date.

Something incredibly satisfying about knowing your craft and the confidence that goes with it. Just the casual “yeah I could make that”. Want a band tee? Yeah I can embroider my own with the lyrics I want. Bridesmaid dress too long? Yeah I can hem it. Need new slippers? Yeah I can crochet a pair (and give them bunny ears). And of course it’s not perfect but nothing beats that feeling of being able to craft your own solution with your own two hands

What gets me is that Arthur’s gesture is so delicate.

I know he wasn’t supposed to make any noise, but still. Arthur doesn’t press his hand on Merlin’s mouth, he just lays it there.

You can see that Arthur didn’t push his palm, and he also takes it off in the same gentle way, oh my god.

law and luffy are just like. what if I saw you at the peak of your miracle working competence, and then the literal next time I saw you it was at your most isolated and broken. and what if that moment of seeing you alone and grieving and terrified was the moment where I decided you were someone worth keeping, someone who I personally cared about and wanted around. how does that not make you wanna lose your fucking mind.

and then the other thing on top of that which always gets me is the way that you can just so clearly see that neither of them has any idea how to fit this relationship into any preexisting context - Luffy calls him part of his crew, but law is the captain of his own crew and would clearly die before giving that up; law calls them allies but it is glaringly obvious that they care about each other in a way that goes beyond that. of course Luffy is generally a lot less bothered about this than law, who routinely wants to put his own head through a wall about it, but it’s just such a fun layer to their dynamic I think.
