After watching many ASMR affirmation videos, Chlamandia decided to tell her boyfriend and the internet what her secret passion and hobby was.
What she loved to do was place a freshly picked flower in a large pickle jar. She would then hover over that jar with her bare ass and flatulate. Then she would seal that jar and label it. The label had a specific format. Date and time, name of flower, and the food eaten prior.
She would plan a special night and tell her boyfriend, Cletus, after the video of her in her basement full of flowers n farts in jars goes viral. YouTube had set her free.

This might be a ✨ hot take ✨ in the vss tag but I don't think there's any purpose to saying "diagnosed/undiagnosed" in this community cause it's like,, you either have it or you don't
It's like as soon as you realize what it is boom you have it and for most you've always had it
And with the little amount of research that's been done on vss there's no real purpose to being diagnosed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno just find it weird when people say their undiagnosed as if it means something

The Romance
Veronica stared at her new boyfriend. His tentacles were slapping against the bistro table, his suckers puckering.
“I wish I’d never read Eight Arms To Hold You,” she thought. “Real life never matches up to octopus romance novels.”
“You look a little distracted,” Oliver said. "What's on your mind?"
She sighed. “…Oh, nothing.”

Hello! Not too sure how weird of an ask this is, but have you ever heard of Visual Snow Syndrome? I believe it is a pretty uncommon comorbidity in both ASD and ADHD... although it's still a relatively recent diagnosis.
Some symptoms include:
A permanent/ constant layer of "static" in the entire field of vision, which is present all the time, even when eyes are closed or in bright lighting.
Afterimages
Floaters
Night blindness
Light sensitivity
Migraines
Tinnitus
Hi there,
Yes, I do experience VSS. It gets so bad at night. All I see are those flickering dots and like I’m looking through a static screen.
Wikipedia has a great example of VSS and what it looks like if anyone is curious.
I hope this helps answer your question. Thank you for the inbox. I hope you have a wonderful day/night. ♥️

need to stop being like "shut upppppp" to myself and treating this like my space (which it is) so! My thoughts behind my 2BD design + how it's changed in the ~3 months since I first did it.
Firstly I reevaluated how I see 2BD as a character. Obviously very grouchy and grumpy in this particular, sort of emotional sometimes subdued way. He's been alive for a while, has seen and endured many things, and has been tempered in the fires of this world. Older than Sanmos, not as old as Hank (although I attribute Hank's existence to a different kind entirely). This contributed to the shape language I decided: primarily stocky, rectangular shapes with the occasional rounded feature.
Edit: oh Ratchet from Transformers also helped/guided a lot of these thoughts and choices as well. Some overlap between the two in my mind.
He's muscled but not overtly, it's more out of necessity to defend himself and enact his goals. He prefers to do things from a distance and ends up a little more sedentary from extensive computer work, whether hacking or researching. Plus I think it's endearing in this gruff old man way. There is a softness (a roundness) that is particularly notable when he is vulnerable (dressed down, without the jacket and gloves in particular, wearing lazy clothes and especially with his mask off) so many don't get to see it.
The choice to give him a jacket that's rather ornate and cropped was partly self indulgence, but it was a conscious choice to make him look a bit... cooler? A bit of a crude way to say it but it's like "casual swag." The casual part is primarily in his pants, which are just plain and baggy with simple boots. Additionally I think I would lean more into this casualness when he's not working. When working, his mindset is different. Focused, in control. On his own, he cares a little less, and is a little more open.
As I described in the tags of a previous post, I think he has a lot of sentiment for personal details and enjoys mending and personalising clothes, albeit it has waned nowadays cus there's not much downtime. The jacket is something he's had for a long time. It's been beaten, cut, ripped, and each time he's filled it in with a new patch. Much like his own body.
The armband was subconsciously inspired by Persona 3, but it more explicitly came from the real world. Armbands usually signify some kind of occupation and rank, and I think it's a fun, cute detail. 2BD considers this operation important and I think he would take it seriously in that way, whereas everyone else kiiind of doesn't. Least I can't imagine Sanford or Deimos willingly putting on an armband to represent their allegiance. I don't know why they're working with 2BD tbf (I mean so the world doesn't . Die is a fair reason), but I guess its a messy and perhaps partially personal reason.
The cane is relatively self-explanatory in the original post, but I was quite happy with my idea that it has practical and multi-tool applications. 2BD is resourceful and proactive, almost to a bit of a pedantic degree. Plus I imagine it's 2BD supplying all those gadgets and implements when retrieving Deimos and Sanford, aside from the shit he probably steals as well.
The gloves were complete self-indulgence. I like claws. BUT I think it conveys his weird "doctor" occupation quite succinctly and gives him another cool point. Albeit I imagine I will switch to bare forearms and fingerless gloves whenever he's handling his VSS Vintorez, because they wouldn't really work well with a gun.
His colour palette ended up leaning into warmer tones sort of "accidentally", but I think it works well. Red in Nevada is a prominent, reoccurring colour that I think symbolises life (and death), and the Other Place. Zero, Hank and 2BD all have very strong ties to these concepts, so reds are prominently featured in their designs in different ways. 2BD, in my interpretation at least, is the most "human" in contrast to ZeroHank specifically. Those two are beings "beyond this world", and 2BD is the "mortal" between them.
The key on his neck is practical and symbolic, with a hint of being cute. It's just his house key, but it "represents" the idea that he is the key to open all secrets in this world. He's the one in control, the one in power, the one with answers. Plus I wanted a little piece of him that Zero or Hank could tug on.
I still think the monoeye goggles are cute, but they end up being a bit too cute for the intent of my "main" design. I will absolutely still draw him with them (especially for simplifications) but it ends up losing the intimidating quality a bit.
Also I saw that comment abt 2BD having burn scars and yeah I think I will experiment with adding those, I like the idea of them being on his face and forearms and that's why he has such prominent coverings on them. I'm not as experienced with depicting/stylising scars like that though so I might need a lot of practice.
I am pretty content with giving his scars more "story", in that a lot of them originate from being tortured during or shortly after his dissension (which is a circulating headcanon I personally liked).
Oh and here's his height difference with Zero.
Tumblr media
Guy gets perfect eye level with Zero's chest like okay man. I'm also quite pleased with their contrasts because Zero is imposing and huge in this detached, almost cold way (additionally supplemented by her monochrome palette), whereas 2BD is imposing in this stout, grouchy way. Straight lines and curves and angular points.
Zero is still warm inside, but it doesn't reflect outwards. They're not human, they're not an existence that belongs here. Conversely, 2BD is warm, and full of "life" in this specific way. They don't quite covet 2BD's humanity, but they certainly feel something for it, like cradling a flame in a lantern.
I may revisit Zero's palette but I think I like this strict monochrome but who knows. I've always ascribed the windblown Nevadean desert to her, the desert wanderer, hellbound ghost, buuuut who knows. Maybe that could be reflected more strongly in her Magiturge form. The true self. I imagine I'll revisit it someday + perhaps create a version where her temporary "ascension" is contained in her physical form, letting it last longer at the cost of power.
Oh and I do still like 2BD's with long, soft mohawks but since I draw his fur collar in a particular way, doing the mohawk in that way felt like doubling up. Plus I love how it looks like a scratchy rough broom, it adds to his grouchiness. Pick him up and sweep with him

Prompt: 'I'll make you mine' but Nightmare keeps misgendering Ink. In order to fullfil his goal with him, Nightmare keeps insisting that Ink's a she/her and is very girly/into the girly stuff.
Ink: oh i'm a he/they btw
Nightmare:Understandable (keeps calling him a 'she')
Ink:💀
((Nightmare: See Ink? '..A girl' is the second most searched result when searching 'Is Ink sans...' on Google. Are you sure your not a girl?? /j)
Second Part Third Part
(Content warnings: Misgendering, mentions of torture, misogyny, humiliation, sort of eating disorder)
Ink did his best to avoid Nightmare, peeking through every hallway before using it. He shouldn't have been, they finished another training session and Ink's throat still burned from posion, but it wouldn't hurt to check. He sighed in relief when he noticed he wasn't there. Ink pulled at the collar of his dress as he walked to his room. His scarf was so much better.
Ink set his hand on the door handle, but a cold breeze brushed against his bones before he could open it. Ink bit back a groan and turned around to face Nightmare, pushing the tendril off his shoulder. "Did I forget something?"
"No, no. I was just wondering why you ran so quickly. I know sweet little girls like you are sensitive, but I hope I wasn't that harsh. You just need to learn to pay attention."
Ink scowled for a second before putting on a smile again. His fingers felt like they scratched him instead of caressed him. "Night . . . I'm not a girl, I'm a guy."
Nightmare chuckled and booped his nasal bone. Ink scrunched his face. "Ah, no. I know what you are, you're the one confused right now. But this just tells me we need to work on you accepting yourself in training."
Ink crossed his arms, staring at his pink sleeves. Despite his usual urge to argue, he knew there was only one safe option. "Fine . . . I'll work on it tomorrow."
"That's my good doll." Nightmare seemed satisfied as he melted into a puddle and dashed through the castle's shadows. Ink rolled his eye lights and walked into his room. He dug out the jacket he stole from Dust and put it on. It covered the pink and helped him feel more like himself. At least he got to choose what he wore!
==========================================
Dinner came around that night. Ink ended up running late because it took forever to cover his old training cuts with makeup. They still didn't heal. The VSS were already settling at the table. He walked into the banquet hall, but paused as he heard something odd.
"Where's . . . Ink?" Horror asked as he sat down.
"She'll be here shortly." Nightmare sipped his wine.
Killer paused in the middle of a bite. "She?"
"You heard me. I want you to call Ink a girl, it's the quickest way she'll learn what I want her to be. Make her believe it and I'll take more drastic measures if needed. It's all part of my plan."
The MTT gave each other a weird look. Ink hoped it meant they had his back, at least a little bit. Killer finally spoke up for them. "I mean . . . alright, boss."
"Excellent." Nightmare looked up. Ink thought he was looking right through him.
Ink debated his options. He could go to dinner and be completely humiliated, or he could skip dinner and get a physical punishment. What would the cost of skipping be? Probably a few bruises, but Nightmare might even praise him for skipping a meal. He never fed him enough because he needed him skinny and pretty. Ink's phalanges dug into the wood of the doorway. He was just going to be put through the same thing no matter what they did. It was like Nightmare was trying to destroy every part of his identity, but why? He loved him! Ink ignored the tears in his eye sockets as he went back to his room, still hungry.
You're such a stupid girl.
Unfortunately, it's only the third most searched question (ignore the sound bar).

im starting to think the weird eye/head pains i get randomly when im trying to sleep sometimes may be related to VSS. there is no 'rest' for my eyes because even with them closed its not black. its colorful and constantly moving and sometimes very bright, like someone is flashing a light in my eye.

something weird
She drunkenly walked into the wrong house and heard a noise coming from the attic. When she found the opening and a flash light, she took a look. What she saw shocked her.
He had gotten drunk and climbed into the attic again. There, he stumbled across his ex's old luggage. In need of relief, he opened a large suitcase and began to urinate. Suddenly, his neighbor poked her head into the opening and pointed a blinding beam of light at him.

Somebody said "i shit on a plate on my kitchen floor and ate it, you're not as deep in this as me" or something
He thought the spirits or entities he was interacting with while awake, in dreams and while out of body were real people torturing and gangstalking him. I knew they weren't real people but never tried correcting him, all I did was influence his perception of what he was going through - and taught him how to turn off the olfactory hallucinations that we both knew weren't some weird coincidental thing, but something being used by these entities to mess with us
So, I taught him some means of control. And other things. And we are still planning on meeting one day ugh he's such a loser but so am I
He just said, if I'm ever in San Francisco, to come visit for a day or so
He was one of the few people who saw a moon aura the same way I did, his was without glasses or contacts, and we had the same colors - red, blue and purple. I saw others sometimes though like pink, and orange but only when I was abusing Amphetamines and being delusional. This one girl I spoke with said hers was green and orange or something? Love her but like
He only saw the static layer of visual snow syndrome once in a dream, he has intense dreams
Anyways I'm not green party
I remember some entities always making me lucid and messing with me in my dreams. And then giving me memories from previous dreams sometimes which one can learn to access through lucid dreaming. It's so much easier to recall old dreams within lucid dreams
So, I use REM suppression so I remember everything I need to when lucid, and then come back to reality while it subconsciously influences how I view the world
The astral terrorist cell
When I met the guy I was just speaking with online I knew he was crazier than me but we still went through a lot of the same shit, like cartoon dreams, so I latched onto him
Somebody on r/astralprojection under the post I found that man astralpariah on, said the same thing happened to them - said they were djinn that weren't used to fuckin with experienced individuals in dreams. This person said when in those cartoon dreams, "break out of the box they're trapping you in" or something. This experienced individual fought them for a long time in dreams until they backed off.
Astralpariah said they were recruiting me for some reason and i was just like "ok"
He said that, I was just like "ok these demons wanna recruit me"
This man and I both did rituals for Lilith
And he did a ritual to reach out to aliens and saw those weird grey ones and they fucked with him for a while
Anyways he's so much better for our conversations and he taught me a lot in the process. But I learned I could tense and loosen some weird kind of probably non-existent muscle within my nose to control my olfactory hallucinations, explained this to astralpariah and he said he could do it to, immediately
When I had finally learned a method for inducing visual snow, the static, I told my friend on MDMA in the streets of Boston and he saw it for a split second. I let him see it for a split second after I found a cool induction guide on a forum called DreamViews, given to me by a random person on r/Tulpamancy hearing me talk about what I called Static Imposition, using my HPPD for sensory imposition without making a tulpa
I spoke with a journalist for a long time, who had HPPD and was involved with the Perception Restoration Foundation. He listened to me quite a bit but disagreed with a lot of what I said even if he found it intriguing. He wants to change the name to some random string of letters, idfk I think it began with a P
I told him about this induction guide, he responded to me eventually and now the Perception Restoration Foundation knows about this, hopefully. Meaning there is an induction guide for studying VSS in the brains of people who aren't suffering from it :) which is why I told that journalist who is closely affiliated with the Perception Restoration Foundation
I just be there, doing things
Under one of the posts he kept making I found a random crazy person who said spirits took him out of body and out him in the bodies of strangers while they used his body. They always vibe and rarely discuss this phenomenon with others.
When they were trying to get me to astral project I said "no" because of that and the guy in the hooded figure who said his name was Set (he's not just a jackal)
With this other random static person standing over my bed, Set staring down at me from the foot of my bed with his arms crossed in that feminine hooded figure because his BITCH ass never got a hat
Tryna coax me into leaving my body, I said no, man said I was smart for that

Forever Socks
Susan grabbed the scissors and clipped off the ends of her new socks. Threads extended, sealing off the hole. The Sock Obsession Newsletter was right. They would last forever!
That night, she wore the socks to bed. While she slept, the threads kept growing, searching for holes in need of repair.
In the morning, she stepped in front of the bathroom mirror and gasped. The socks had grown over her entire body, covering her in argyle. Her new skin made her look more like a puppet than a woman. Even her hair had been replaced with yellow yarn.
She smiled, revealing perfect cotton teeth.

the visual snow initiative (VSI) is a pretty cool thing to exist because they're creating awareness and education and everything and obviously that's a good thing, but like....
it honestly weirds me out that they're seemingly so laser-focused on finding a cure!
they mention it on almost every page of their site, and have y'all seen their merch???? I looked at their shop bc I was curious what the hell kinda products and designs they'd have, imagining some funky-cool static art n shit, but instead I see, uh.. this??
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean, I get it. im reading about folks' experiences and how they just suddenly had this syndrome one day and their world changed and they didn't know what was happening, and obviously I can see why they would want to find a cure. like there's this one story from a woman who got visual snow when she was almost 40 years old! I can totally see how that would be unpleasant and scary as hell.
I know I was really scared when I started having visual snow. I think I was 5 or 6, and I was convinced I was seeing monsters coming at me in the dark, even when I closed my eyes. I couldn't sleep for a few nights, even after crawling in my parents' bed, until I somehow convinced myself to imagine friendlier creatures in the static instead. and then I just... got used to it. I even totally forgot about it for a good long while! i genuinely can't remember seeing the world "normally" because visual snow just is my normal now, and I like it that way.
obviously my experience is different from some of these folks', since I have the privilege of having milder visual snow symptoms (at least for now, maybe ill be Suffering in a decade, who knows lol) and I also have the privilege of just being so used to this ding dang glitch in my brain (affectionate). maybe if I didn't get it until I was in my 20s I'd just want it gone too. idk.
I guess the point of this post is to say that it's kinda disappointing to try and learn more about something you experience and find a community of people who understand what you're dealing with, only to realize that a significant portion of them dislike the strange, cool, unique thing you share and want to get rid of it. it's kind of a bummer. they might want to see a world without visual snow, but I don't.
