The night felt like something out of a dream, the kind you didn’t want to wake up from. The streets were alive with the hum of the city, the faint glow of the streetlights illuminating the sidewalk as Sylus guided you toward the restaurant. His hand was warm, steady, wrapped around yours with a casual but firm grip that spoke of his protectiveness—a gesture you had come to know well over the years.
Sylus, as always, had made sure every detail was perfect. The air held a cool crispness, carrying with it the subtle scent of rain that had fallen earlier in the evening. His steps were confident, exuding the quiet authority that made heads turn as you walked into the grand entrance of the restaurant. You caught a glimpse of the way people shifted in their seats, straightening as he passed, their gazes following him with a mixture of respect and curiosity. There was no denying Sylus held power, not just in your life, but in the world beyond it. He had a presence that commanded attention, but with you, it was softer, more intimate.
The host greeted you with an almost reverential nod, leading the two of you through the dimly lit space. The restaurant itself was an oasis of luxury—high ceilings adorned with chandeliers that sparkled like clusters of stars, and soft music playing in the background, barely audible but creating a calm ambiance. Sylus had arranged for a private room, of course. He always did when it came to moments like these. Privacy was something he valued when it came to you.
As the waiter opened the door to your secluded table, your breath caught in your throat. The room was stunning—glass walls on three sides that offered a panoramic view of the city below. The lights from the skyscrapers stretched out endlessly, flickering like tiny diamonds in the distance. You could see the entire skyline, the towering structures glittering against the inky black sky. It was the kind of view that made you feel like you were floating above the world, a private escape far away from the chaos below.
Sylus gave your hand a gentle squeeze, a knowing smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he led you to the table. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” he murmured, his voice low and velvety, that signature teasing note dancing in his words.
You turned to him, catching the way the city’s lights reflected in his eyes—those mesmerizing crimson eyes that never failed to draw you in. They burned with intensity, as if every emotion he felt for you was captured in their depths. You smiled softly, feeling your heart flutter as you nodded. “It’s far greater than beauty… it’s stunning.”
Sylus’s gaze never left you, a smile playing on his lips as he leaned closer, his voice soft and intimate. “And yet, as stunning as this view is, it pales in comparison to the radiance you bring into my life. To me, you are the true masterpiece—more breathtaking than any cityscape, more precious than anything im bound to give you”
He countered smoothly, pulling out your chair with the kind of grace and charm that was so uniquely Sylus. “Tonight, let me show you just how much you mean to me,” he said, his eyes holding yours with a deep, earnest gaze. “Because you deserve to know that, no matter where we are or what we’re doing, you are the center of my universe.”
Heat flushed your cheeks, but you couldn’t stop the smile that spread across your face. “Please, if you keep talking like that you might as well make me believe in total perfection ” you teased, lowering yourself into the plush seat. The cushions were soft, molding to your form, and the table was adorned with a single candle flickering in the center, casting a warm, romantic glow over everything.
Sylus took his seat across from you, his long fingers playing with the edge of the menu, though his attention never wavered from you. “It’s not about being perfect, sweetheart,” he said, leaning forward slightly, the flame of the candle reflecting in his eyes. “It’s about being honest”
There was something in his tone tonight—something deeper, more deliberate. You could feel it, the way his gaze lingered on your face, the way his fingers tapped idly against the table as if holding back some secret. But for now, you let it slide, content to fall into the easy rhythm of your usual banter.
For a while, the two of you talked, slipping effortlessly into conversation like you always did. You told him about your day, about the little frustrations and victories at work, the mundane details of life that seemed so much more interesting when shared with him. Sylus listened with the same rapt attention he always gave you, his eyes softening as he watched you speak, a small smile playing on his lips.
“ — I would love for the both of us to have some peace together …alone” you smiled, leaning back in your chair, “I know everything has become so demanding these days – so, having something cozy as a cabin would be sweet”
Sylus tilted his head slightly, his fingers idly tracing the rim of his wine glass. “Is that your subtle way of telling me you want a getaway?” His smirk widened, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Because you know I’m always game for spoiling you.”
You rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t help the grin that tugged at your lips. “You spoil me enough as it is. Sometimes I think you’re trying to make me a little too used to luxury.”
He chuckled, his deep voice sending a shiver down your spine. “Only the best for my love. Besides, why wouldn't you think you deserve it. You deserve everything.”
His words were so sincere, so full of warmth that it made your heart swell in your chest. You looked down at your glass for a moment, trying to hide the way your pulse quickened under his intense gaze. “You’re too good to me, Sylus.”
His eyes darkened slightly, a more serious expression crossing his face. “I don’t think you realize how much I mean that,” he murmured, his voice dropping to a near whisper.
Before you could respond, the waiter arrived with the bottle of wine Sylus had chosen—a rare vintage, no doubt, something he’d picked specifically for the occasion. He poured two glasses with expert precision, and Sylus raised his in a silent toast.
“To you,” he said, his voice soft, reverent. “To us.”
You clink your glass gently against his, taking a sip of the rich, velvety wine. It was perfect, of course, just like everything Sylus planned. But as the conversation continued, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something else was on his mind, something unspoken.
It was in the way he watched you—his eyes never leaving your face, even as you spoke about the most mundane details of your day. He was always attentive, but tonight, it was different. There was a weight in his gaze, a quiet intensity that seemed to hum between you like a current of electricity.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Sylus leaned back in his chair, his fingers drumming against the table in that familiar, thoughtful way. He reached into his pocket, his movements slow and deliberate, and your breath caught in your throat when you saw the small, black velvet box in his hand.
Your heart pounded as he set it on the table between you, the flickering candlelight casting soft shadows over the velvet. “Sylus…”
“Let me finish,” he interrupted gently, his voice barely above a whisper. His crimson eyes were locked on yours, filled with a tenderness that took your breath away. “I’ve been waiting for the right moment, the perfect time, the perfect setting, but I realized…that each moment I have tried — my mind couldnt conjure the right words out of my mouth …the right sentence ..or the right feeling ..everything felt out of place ..but tonight is different–this ring is different”
He slid the box across the table, his fingers brushing yours as he did, sending a spark of warmth through you. “This is a promise, sweetheart. A promise that no matter what happens, no matter where life takes us, I’m yours. Always.”
Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes as you opened the box, revealing a stunning diamond ring nestled inside. It wasn’t just any ring—it was a Darry Ring, a once-in-a-lifetime promise. You’d heard of them before. The kind of ring that symbolized true love, loyalty, and commitment. Sylus had chosen this for you.
“I… Sylus..” you whispered, your voice trembling as you looked up at him, the tears threatening to spill over.
Sylus stood then, moving around the table to kneel beside you, his hands gently cupping your face as he smiled softly. “You don’t have to say anything, love. The only thing I would ask is for you to please stay with me”
Your breath hitched as you nodded, tears streaming down your cheeks as you threw your arms around him, burying your face in his chest. “Yes,” you whispered, your voice thick with emotion. “Yes, I’ll stay with you. Forever.”
He pulled you closer, his lips capturing yours in a tender, lingering kiss. It was soft and gentle at first, but as the moment deepened, it became more passionate, filled with all the love and promise he had for you. The world outside seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you in that perfect bubble of intimacy.
When he finally pulled back, his eyes were sparkling with a mixture of love and mischief. “A promise ..more of a bound between our souls, don't you think?”
You smiled through your tears, the weight of the ring on your finger a beautiful reminder of his commitment. “gods, you say the most ..its perfection is what it is”your voice still tinged with emotion.
Sylus stood, helping you to your feet, and pulled you into a close embrace, his strong arms wrapping around you as he pressed another tender kiss to your lips. This kiss was soft and full of promise, a sweet punctuation to the heartfelt words and gestures that had defined your evening.
He guided you towards the glass walls of the private room, where the breathtaking view of the city seemed to sparkle even more brightly now. The air outside was crisp, carrying the faintest scent of blooming flowers from the terrace. Sylus led you to the private terrace he had arranged—a cozy space adorned with plush cushions and blankets, perfect for a serene escape under the stars.
The terrace was illuminated by a soft, ambient light from string fairy lights that twinkled overhead. The city lights below glittered like a field of diamonds, their reflections mingling with the soft glow of the lights above. Sylus settled you into the cushions, his hand gently brushing against your cheek as he sat beside you, pulling you close.
“This is where we’ll end our evening,” he said, his voice tender and filled with affection. “Just the two of us, surrounded by all the stars of the night.”
You nestled against him, feeling the warmth and comfort of his presence as you both sank into the soft cushions. Sylus’s arm draped around your shoulders, pulling you into a snug embrace. The peaceful quiet of the night was punctuated only by the occasional distant murmur of the city below and the soft rustling of the wind.
As you looked out over the city, Sylus’s gaze never wavered from you. His eyes were filled with a love so deep it seemed to shimmer in the gentle light. “In a world full of fleeting moments” he murmured, his lips close to your ear, “this is one I want to hold onto forever with you”
You turned your head to look up at him, your heart swelling with a profound sense of happiness. “it almost feels surreal…”
Sylus’s eyes softened even further, his expression a blend of affection and admiration as he pressed a final, soft kiss to your lips. “It's a reality I wish to keep you in”
The night stretched out before you, filled with the promise of many more moments like this. As you lay together on the terrace, wrapped in each other’s arms, the city lights below and the stars above seemed to echo the love and commitment you had just sealed with a kiss. In that perfect moment, you knew that no matter what the future held, you had found something truly special—a promise of forever, made in the glow of love and a diamond ring.

𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐄!, who cannot help but to feel excited whenever he sees you flustered. It gets him going, seeing the ire bloom in your eyes as a sharp grin forms on his face. Even from the corner of your eye, you can see the way his crooked nose inhales the crisp air around him, as if he's ready to snort.
𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐄!, who started to give you hints of his presence long before he spirited you away deep into his realm. They were all small things at first, things so seemingly insignificant to the untrained human eye that no sane person could ever fault you for falling for the atrocious pranks. He took great pleasure in stealing all of your jewelry and comparing it to his own. He had vaults of precious gems, diamonds, deep sea pearls, precious golds and silvers right at his disposal and this is what you are picking?
He cannot help but to snidely judge. He can treat you so much better than this.
Mortals are so odd.
𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐄!, who listens in absolute bewilderment at the sheer idiocy the human race believes in, which unfortunately, also includes you. The company you keep is far from desirable, making the ancient fae wonder what is the exact state of your feeble little mind.
He also is a little charmed by it. There is this simplistic beauty about it, an allure which he cannot pinpoint for the life of him. Although, the fact thtat is not required to think too crudely is a massive bonus to him as well. Even mortals know not to trust fae, much less actual fae themselves. Each new dawn represents a new challenge to conquer, a new spell to cast or decipher and, honestly, it gets tiring.
It makes him realize why so many of his brothers and sisters keep so many humans close. The delightful purity is addicting, much like sweet wine - once you have a sip, it's game over. Nothing else will satiate the endless thirst.
However, 𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐄! does not necessarily wish to keep you chained on a leash for all eternity. He plans to do so until you begin to understand the ways of fae society although, deep down, he cannot help but to fantasize on what it would be like to gift you your own pair of shimmering wings. The thought keeps him awake for what feels like ages, his mind going back and forth on whether or not he should erase your humanity and create you anew.
The stars in the sky are taunting him as he turns his head towards the balcony, the bright glimmers in the sky mocking him for his indecisiveness. He, an immortal being is this dazed by a meager little human, who could perish at the snap of his fingers.
It's all just positively dreadful.

i wonder what i look like in your eyes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
gojo ⋮ geto ⋮ sukuna ⋮ toji ⭑ how they see you and what you are to them.
¡! wc: 1.1k
¡! genre: tooth-rotting fluff, awful + contagious cases of lovesick men, you're literally their reason for existence
¡! an: i dropped this on another account but then abandoned it so its being posted here lolz!
Tumblr media
☆ - satoru gojo ⋮ a nebula
when it comes to satoru, he's always been alone in his orbit. a level of his own. he's a god among the mortal race; both blessed and cursed to walk the earth. he's his own galaxy - the brightest and the boldest.
yet his galaxy is unbearably lonely. it's expansive, a cosmic canvas of infinite possibilites. it's an inky black celestial wonder, one that leaves a hollow feeling in his chest.
until he meets you, and you become the only being in existence allowed to orbit with him. you're his nebula, chaotic and disorted yet so effortlessly the most beautiful element of his galaxy.
you blaze in brilliant, radiant light; core searing it's permeant place in the midnight backdrop. you illuminate the space with shades of the deepest indigo and violets, mingled with wisps of turquoise and teal. crimson and oranges are vibrant in your centre.
the colour stretches into the void forming intricate patters, ones he finds himself untangling to better understand you.
in the silence of space, your nebula spoke volumes; comforting him at his worst, lulling his mind into dreamless sleep. your edges are softer, the colours more muted as you bleed into him. no one can tell where you begin and he ends.
you are so so small in comparison to the void, but so unbearably bright that you light it all with practiced ease. he tends to watch in awe as you decorate his solar system; nursing new stars to weave into his soul.
with you there, his universe becomes easier to live in, easier to navigate. you're a cloud of interstellar stardust - held together by the gravitational attraction of satoru's galaxy.
Tumblr media
☆ - suguru geto ⋮ the artist
to suguru, you're the best thing that's happened to him. ever.
anyone who sees him with you knows. they know he's infatuated, enamoured. he's so far gone that people often think that he's been blinded by love, but he has simply never felt an emotion so intense.
with you he thinks he truly sees the world in all it's glory, innocent and pure. with you he traverses unpolluted by the atrocities of the world, you who colours his world.
he looks at you like you personally hang the stars in the sky when night rolls around, like you paint the sorbet sunsets by hand. he stares at you adoringly, as if you chose the colour of the sea and dusted white on the peaks of mountains to keep them warm.
he peers at you like you solely gift the flowers with their petals, dipping them in shades you deem beautiful enough. like you create the sand from scratch and lay it in pretty semi-lunar shapes next to the ocean.
he gazes at you like diamonds were invented in tribute to your tears, like you drew the prettiest landscapes alone in the quiet, before the age of humanity.
he studies you like you've sculpted the very shape of his heart - every ventricle and atrium handcrafted with your pretty fingers. as if his very existence was molded by you, hence why you fit so perfectly together; two pieces of a puzzle.
he could stare at you for hours and days on end, eyes full of love for the person who introduces him to a plethora of hues and tones that he imprints on the back of his eyelids when he sleeps.
Tumblr media
☆ - ryomen sukuna ⋮ the breath of life
sukuna is not a good person. everybody knows that. he's taken innocent lives, sapping their energy like it's nothing. he's all-powerful; he stands amongst the deities - gods who have the capacity to bend fate to their will.
but after millennia of having everything under his rule, he's gotten bored. he has servants to order as he pleases but nothing they do entertains him. the god of death is bored, embarrassingly so.
until he acquires something known as a significant other, the other half of his soul as the humans say. you're his breath of life, a release of old, stagnant energy. it's as if you breathe vitality into everything you touch, all life forms flocking to you naturally.
you're so much softer than he, touch delicate yet profound, an ethereal caress that lights sparks in his eyes. he tends to linger quietly by your side when you walk in the garden he constructed just for you - though he would never tell you that.
wildflowers are coaxed into bloom with you around, their colours a testament to your nurturing touch. the dew-laden grass basks in your presence, gleaming a shade brighter than before. even the trees seem to gravitate toward you, branches reaching for you as you pass by, their leaves sighing in contentment.
sukuna's convinced the waves follow your pace, each push and pull matches your breathing.
you were the essence of renewal. his world had found it's pulse, it's rhythm, as you dance the unending dance of life in the centre. you sustain his beating heart, so sukuna's oddly content with merely watching.
Tumblr media
☆ - toji fushiguro ⋮ a lover
toji sees you as not only a lover, but the lover. the only one he will have in this life and the next. there's no after you. it's a forever kinda thing.
something so simple as the title of 'lover' is so complex for toji, a man who's a veteran assassin, a man who previously had no regard for anyone else.
you're the only person toji promises to protect, to never lie to, to make happy for as long as his heart pumps and his chest rises with each breath. you're a miracle gifted to him by the gods - though he doesn't know what he's done to deserve it.
he's rough around the edges but with your standing as 'lover', you smooth him out.
he subconsciously thinks of you, always worrying for your satefy. you must be a deep ocean of the emotion known as 'passion' because he's willingly drowning, not even looking for shore.
toji looks at you like you're an extension of himself, the other half of him that the deities intended for him to find. he can't remember times before you or imagine a future without you.
he makes a deal of reminding you that you are his, just as he is completely and utterly yours. as his lover you hold his bloody, beating heart in your hands; he knows you'll keep it safe.
he stares at you like you'll disappear; like he's not even sure you actually exist. you love a man like him after all - that's a miracle in itself.

Those of you who get my newsletter will already have seen this but here's a snippet from the Matthew novella A Sea Change (some spoilers) — and Matthew on one of the endpapers for the novella book! Doesn't he look grownup?
Tumblr media

It was a beautiful night.    The promenade deck wended its way around the entirely of the Majestic like a necklace of polished wood and brass fittings. There were few out walking like Matthew, perhaps because it was cool and windy, but Shadowhunters were used to the cold. Besides, the wind blew the clouds away, exposing a sky so full of stars it looked as if a jeweler had hastily stuffed a drawer with handfuls of loose-cut diamonds.    A year ago, Matthew would not have been able to enjoy the path the moonlight made across the water, or the sky afire with white flame. He would have been thinking about his last drink, or where he would find his next one. A frantic circle of pain and shame and longing: one he’d had to trudge invisibly, keeping his secrets from his friends, his family.    Now the weight was off him. He felt light, and sometimes strangely at rest, like a windmill on a windless night. He no longer despised himself, but he did not know his purpose, either. If, he mused, one had to have a purpose at all. Was it not enough to be a Shadowhunter — one among many, but each sworn to protect humanity against demons? To keep peace among mundanes and Downworlders — warlocks, werewolves, the Fair Folk, and vampires?    A year ago, he wasn’t sure he would have so quickly identified Miss Gwendolyn as a vampire, either. But then Matthew spent more time with Downworlders than most Shadowhunters did. Some he was friendly with, but he did not trick himself into thinking that meant they were not dangerous. And a vampire hiding out among humans was cause for concern.    He’d noted the way Gwendolyn hadn’t eaten, and had drunk sparingly of the wine. The translucence of her fingernails. Her pallor, even under a layer of makeup. The veins at her temples — if those were visible, she was hungry. And there had been the odd behavior of Orville Cole. The way he’d stared at her worshipfully. Humans often fell under the spell of vampires, finding them impossible to resist. It was not the same as a thrall relationship, where the vampire fed from the human and in return promised them eternal life, but it was a use of vampire glamour forbidden by the Accords.    Though Gwendolyn had seemed, if anything, annoyed at Cole’s attentions. Perhaps she’d enchanted him without meaning to and wished nothing more than to be rid of him. It was hard to say; Matthew did not get the sense she’d been a vampire very long.    At that moment, lost in thought, Matthew collided with something solid.     “Pardonnez-moi — oh. It’s you.” The young man from dinner, Sylvain Allard, had evolved out of the shadows. He wore a dark summer suit which blended with the night.

I Want My Kids to Have Your Eyes
Levi x Reader (fluff, sfw)
what a bold thing to say to your captain.
Tumblr media
Moonlight hung over the hill like a comforting blanket as you both reclined an arm’s length apart on the soft grass beneath, bodies sinking into the earth. The day had been relentless, a gruelling mission that tested every ounce of strength. Now, in the quiet aftermath, you two found solace gazing upward at the summit’s view, shimmering like scattered diamonds against the canvas of the night sky.
The shared stillness remained comfortable, before you posed a soft interruption to the quietude, "Captain, do you ever think about your future?"
Levi's eyes briefly left the constellations above, attention shifting to you. "Yes, it usually ranges from the next second to the next few months. Which area of land outside the walls to explore, how defensive operations should alter for the next month, which day certain intelligen-”
“Captain-” You interrupted, then hesitated, the vulnerability of the topic making your heart race. "I meant a peaceful future, like having a family, kids?"
Levi's brow furrowed slightly. The thought of it was unfamiliar, impossible. "In this war? That’s far-fetched," he remarked, gaze returning to the stars.
A subtle smile grew on your lips as scenarios played at the back of your mind. "I know, of course, but don’t you ever imagine it? A life after the war, a future where Titans are just stories we tell our children." Levi's expression softened, a fleeting hint of wistfulness in his eyes.
"Like sometimes I think if I had children, I’d take them to play by the oceans, make adorable lunch sets," you continued, "how beautiful they would look if they had your eyes…" Embarrassment started flushing up as you realised you rambled on way too far.
His eyes widened imperceptibly, caught completely off guard by your comment.
"WAIT, that didn’t come out right. I didn’t mean having them with YOU, of course... definitely not…" You trailed off, a splash of pink painfully obvious on your cheeks. Get yourself together y/n, what on earth are you saying to your captain?
“Ouch.” A flicker of disappointment crossed his features. Levi cleared his throat, seemingly caught in the unexpected turn of the conversation. "Well aren’t you very in objection to that idea." he snickered, hiding a trace of sorrow beneath his face.
“Nevermind, I’m sorry, please forget what I said." You apologised in the tense atmosphere.
But Levi didn't dismiss it. Instead, his mind seemingly remained lost in contemplation. "How will your children have my eyes, if they don't have my genetics?" Determined to disprove your faulty reasoning.
You chuckled nervously, "I just mean I hope they’ll be a pretty colour, and delicate shape, like yours."
Levi displayed a rare vulnerability in his expression. He had never given thought to the aesthetic of his eyes; they were simply a part of him, a feature he never considered noteworthy. This was the first time he had received a compliment about them, and it left him momentarily speechless.
"At this rate, my most optimistic guesstimate is that I’ll be slaying titans till I’m 60." You broke the awkwardness joking, "in that case I might not be able to have kids, doubt any man would still take my crinkled self on a date anyway."
"Why not?" Levi replied seriously, his voice a soft echo in the tranquil night. "I won't be even a tiny bit surprised if you're still this beautiful at 85."
A blood-bathed blush adorned your complexion, stomach filling with butterflies and warmth, brain connections zapping around - wondering if he really thought that way, or,
“you’re just saying that.”
Levi sighed, “in all your years of knowing me, when have I ever felt obliged to tell a white lie, Comrade?”
"Right…” You muttered, with all sorts of thoughts doing laps beneath your skull, trying to continue the conversation as level-headed as possible. “Perhaps I'll meet my first love at 99,” a giggle escaping your breath as you joked.
Unexpectedly, Levi's response carried a weight that belied the casual banter. "Well. I think people can be in love without being in a formal relationship. You could easily have your first love now."
Your gaze laid upon his side profile, slightly puzzled by his logic, "but how can you be in love with someone without holding hands, saying mushy things, and all that?"
His head turned towards you, a moment of silence filling the air with eyes drilling into yours, revealing a sincerity that tugged at your heart. "I definitely can."

Tumblr media
— HADES
↘ You impressed many gods with your ever calm expression and voice that soothed everyone to sleep or healed mental wounds. No matter what you said, your gentle, almost shy smile and willingness to help made everyone on Olympus and during important meetings agree with you, although you often asked them to oppose your ideas in case of objections.
↘ Many deities gossip about your marriage to Hades – Lord of Death and King of the Underworld. Hades was the man feared by the entire Greek Pantheon, a class of his own and a god who had lived in solitude for thousands of years, his only friend for eternity being himself. So how did a beautiful, gentle, nature-loving woman like you fall in love with him and decide to live in Helheim? You were, after all, the Goddess of Calligraphy, The protector of Artists.
↘ The answer is very simple though. Hades is a secretive romantic and though the flowers you got from him were always withered, they were always the most beautiful gift you could receive because you knew his feelings were sincere. So, although you often missed the view of the sky, the warmth of the sun, running deer or the view of lakes and fields stretching from Mount Olympus, life with Hades was really wonderful, and he was a gallant gentleman bravely leading you by the hand.
↘ Your aura full of peace and nostalgia for the world of the living gave the underworld colors and warmth.
Tumblr media
— POSEIDON
↘ Your close friend was Zeus, who one day organized a grand banquet for an unknown occasion. As his good friend, the Goddess of Science and Philosophy, you sat right next to him at a huge, round table on which meat dishes, all fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as sweets and wine barrels were arranged. Right next to your left sat the King of the Seas and at the same time the older brother of your best friend. Poseidon never got to know you, though of course he heard your name more than once when he spoke to his brothers and the other gods of Olympus.
↘ You were the definition of calm and prudence; your sparkling eyes studied each guest attentively, and you listened to each story with the greatest concentration. From time to time you answered questions from other, more important gods, thanking for each compliment, remark or approval. The fair-haired man didn’t say much that evening, but for the first time in ages he stayed at the table until the end of the meeting and sometimes, without a word, offering you another glass of alcohol or fresh fruit (in his mind, throughout the party, he wrote the dishes you tasted and the sweets that made the biggest smile on your face).
↘ Poseidon was delighted with you, though he couldn’t admit it. Of course he would never do that, especially among other Greek deities. This would create gossip and unnecessary attention to him. He also didn’t want you to feel embarrassed by unpleasant questions or comments.
↘ At the end of a meeting that seemed to last for years, everyone slowly returning to their realms. You also thanked for the meal and amazing company, saying ‘Goodbye’ to Zeus and the others. Poseidon followed you wordlessly. Before the handsome god submerged into the cold water, in gratitude for the nice time he gave you one of the seashells he once found at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Its shell was white and sparkled like a diamond. Before you could thank him though, Poseidon disappeared into the sea foam and you blushed hardly.
↘ In the world of the gods, giving another person a gift related to the profession of a patron was equivalent to a confession of feelings or a proposal.
Tumblr media
— HERACLES
↘ Heracles from the first time he saw you (more than two thousand years ago) knew that you would be his and would do anything to protect your beautiful soul and precious smile. You were the Queen of the Forest and Meadows, so your nature was calm, patient and also timid. Heracles, on the other hand, as a hero and a man for whom respect for a woman was in the first place, of course, wanted to show you how much you mean to him and how precious flower you are.
↘ His behavior and feelings were very visible. He was like a teenager in love with a huge smile and a fast heartbeat whenever he received words of gratitude from you or small compliments about his strength, agility and acts of heroism towards animals or people.
↘ He is literally delighted and acts like a five-year-old after receiving a candy when you agree to go on a date with him. He probably stays awake for the next week, not eating, and begs Aphrodite and Apollo on his knees to help him with his hair and clothes. He is more than stressed when he thinking about your meeting, but he does not forget for a microsecond a bouquet of your favorite flowers, which he gives you with a shy smile, telling you how beautiful you look that day.
↘ When you thank him for them and take his strong, slightly rough from fighting hand, he almost faints, but don’t worry. It will definitely be the best date in the history of the Greek Pantheon.
Tumblr media
— LOKI
↘ You are his opposite. No one among the Norse gods (and in general all deities that exist) understands your relationship and sincerely sympathizes with you, because Loki is the biggest rascal and jester. However, you don’t think you need sympathy or sad looks; on the contrary – next to him you feel really safe and good. This boy is very considerate of you and really appreciates that someone like the Norse Goddess of Poetry took an interest in him and gave him her fragile heart.
↘ Of course, he’s still a bit mischievous towards you, but his pranks never make you angry or sad. It’s more like jokes about Loki turning into an animal or running away from your kisses, flying high so you can’t reach him.
↘ God of Mischief is like a faithful dog when it comes to you. He always stays close to you, always takes a seat to your left, always looks at your interlocutor with bored eyes, and always tries to get your attention with loud laughter, singing and questions. He is a little attention hoe.
↘ Loki, alone with you, is a little poetry expert who brags to you how many books he has read and what new achievements he has made. He is concerned when he sees your sadness – then he tries hard to cheer you up with silly faces and at the same time puts on a mask of seriousness when he sees that you need a longer and serious conversation. Of course, then he will fly away again and pretend to be a mosquito, but as soon as he comes back to you, he will give you a million kisses. After all, you have exactly eternity for your love.
Tumblr media
— BEELZEBUB
↘ He was horrified when he realized you were more than just a friend to him. He decided to distance himself, but you quickly knocked that idea out of his head, proposing a conversation. Of course, your calm voice and small smile immediately soothed the God of Darkness and made him believe that he would be happy with you.
↘ Being the Goddess of Light and Life was completely at odds with who you married after many years. You were like a beautiful tulip and he was a dried chrysanthemum. Extremely different, but perfectly complementary in terms of your characters and feelings. Your calm nature always soothed Beelzebub’s racing thoughts and his sad eyes, which still seemed not to understand why you gave your precious heart to the one possessed by Satan.
↘ However, you were happy with him and although his hand was always cold and his face was pale and often without a smile, you thought that he was the man you wanted to live with until the end of the world and one more day.
↘ Beelzebub had to admit it – he was damn in love with you and your beautiful aura was what honestly illuminated his previously bleak life. From the moment he met you, the man wanted to live and develop again. With such a queen by his side, nothing could destroy him.

Addam Velaryon x Targaryen Princess!reader
[note | my very first drabble for the handsome valeryon bastard! nothing of the reader’s appearance is specified :3
[a/n: this was not planned and was out of a spur of the moment kinda thing <3
Tumblr media
The night sky was clear, dotted with stars that shimmered like diamonds on black velvet. The salty breeze from the sea wafted through the open windows of the Dragonstone balcony, carrying the faint sound of waves crashing against the cliffs below. You stood there, wrapped in a fur-lined cloak, gazing out at the horizon where the sea met the sky. The cool air nipped at your cheeks, but you found comfort in the tranquility of the night.
A pair of strong arms wrapped around your waist from behind, pulling you close. You leaned back, melting into the familiar warmth of Addam Velaryon. He rested his chin on your shoulder, his silver hair tickling your neck.
"Couldn't sleep?" he asked softly, his breath warm against your ear.
You sighed, shaking your head. "Just needed some fresh air. Dragonstone, the handmaidens, the lectures, everything feels so stifling to me sometimes."
Addam chuckled, his chest vibrating against your back. "I know what you mean. It can be quite... unbearable."
You turned in his arms, looking up into his eyes. They were the color of the sea, deep and full of secrets. "But it has its moments," you said, a smile playing on your lips.
He leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. "Especially when shared with you, my princess."
Your heart swelled at his words. Being a Targaryen princess often meant a life of duty and expectations, but with Addam, you felt truly seen and cherished. He had a way of grounding you, of making the burdens you carried feel lighter.
"Let's take a walk," he suggested, taking your hand. "There's something I want to show you."
You followed him down the winding staircase and through the moonlit gardens of the castle. The flowers seemed to glow under the soft light, their petals glistening with dew. Addam led you to a secluded spot overlooking the sea, where a small picnic was laid out, complete with a blanket and lanterns casting a warm glow.
"What's all this?" you asked, your eyes wide with surprise.
"I thought you might like a change of scenery," he said with a grin. "And I know how much you love the sea."
You settled down on the blanket, pulling him down beside you. The two of you sat there, sharing stories and laughter, the world outside fading away. In that moment, surrounded by the beauty of the night and the warmth of Addam's love, you felt truly at peace.
As the night wore on, you rested your head on his shoulder, your eyes growing heavy. Addam wrapped an arm around you, holding you close. "Sleep, my love," he whispered. "I'll keep watch."
With a contented sigh, you closed your eyes, knowing that as long as you had Addam by your side, everything would be alright.

Under the Stars
Summary: you share a quiet, intimate moment in the woods, where a simple hand-holding leads to a deeper connection under the starry night sky.
Word Count: 607
Tumblr media
The evening was quiet, the kind of stillness that settled over the world just before twilight gave way to night. The air was cool, carrying the scent of pine and damp earth as you and Dean Winchester walked side by side down a winding path through the woods. The only sounds were the soft crunch of leaves underfoot and the distant call of an owl somewhere deep in the forest.
You had been walking in companionable silence for a while, both lost in thought, when you felt Dean’s gaze on you. You turned your head to meet his eyes, and the intensity in them made your heart skip a beat. There was something unspoken in that look, something that made the moment feel charged with electricity.
Can I hold your hand?” Dean’s voice was quiet, almost hesitant, as if he wasn’t sure what your answer would be.
For a second, you didn’t respond, caught off guard by the vulnerability in his tone. This was the same Dean Winchester who had faced down monsters and demons without flinching, yet here he was, asking you something so simple, so human, with a kind of earnestness that made your heart ache.
Without a word, you reached out and took his hand, your fingers intertwining with his. His grip was warm and firm, grounding you in that moment. The world seemed to fall away, leaving just the two of you standing there, connected by that simple touch.
Dean let out a breath you hadn’t realized he was holding, and you saw a flicker of relief in his eyes, as if he had been afraid you might say no. He squeezed your hand gently, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. It wasn’t a big smile, not the usual cocky grin you were used to seeing, but something softer, more genuine.
As you continued walking, hand in hand, the silence between you felt different—more intimate. Every step you took seemed to sync up, the rhythm of your footsteps matching perfectly, as if you were both moving to the same unspoken beat. The connection between you felt natural, like it had always been there, waiting for the right moment to be acknowledged.
The path eventually led to a clearing, where the trees opened up to reveal a stunning view of the night sky. The stars were out in full force, twinkling like tiny diamonds scattered across a velvet canvas. You both stopped, taking in the beauty of the scene, and you felt Dean’s hand tighten slightly around yours, as if he were anchoring himself in the moment.
“I don’t do this much,” Dean admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. “The whole… letting someone in thing. But with you, it feels different. Feels right.”
You turned to look at him, your heart swelling with emotion. “It feels right to me too, Dean.”
He smiled at that, a real smile this time, full of warmth and something that looked an awful lot like hope. You both stood there for a while, just holding hands, staring up at the stars, and enjoying the peacefulness of the night. It was a simple thing, really, but in that simplicity, there was a kind of magic—proof that sometimes, the most powerful connections are forged in the quietest moments.
And as the night deepened, you knew that this was a moment you would both hold onto, a memory that would stay with you no matter where the road took you next. Because in that moment, under the vast expanse of the starry sky, you both found something you hadn’t even realized you were searching for—each other.

The Shadowsinger & The Inkbird: Chapter Eleven
Azriel x Day Court Librarian Reader
Summary: Y/n's clairvoyance is a gift from the Mother, but it feels more like a curse. With the power to gain knowledge through touch alone, Y/n holes herself up in The Alcove and hopes her powers and parentage will remain a secret. But things will change after the Summer Solstice ball and a chance encounter with a certain Shadowsinger.
Warnings: None. Gwyn and Y/n bond over books. Azriel and Y/n get even closer — this had me kicking my feet and screaming internally and externally

Rhysand’s training sessions always started with him sliding over ten objects: a book, a piece of jewelry, an article of clothing — anything he could find with meaning for you to discern.
“This one is Mor’s.” You held the red satin box in your hands. Two months ago you would have only been able to tell him who it belonged to. Maybe nothing at all. The meaning held by the object was weak. The jewelry too new. Unworn. But now you could harness your power with more precision, like you’d finally been handed an image of the puzzle you were trying to complete so you knew what to look for. “You bought it two months ago at Cizero’s as a Winter Solstice gift.”
“And what is it exactly?”
The box was still closed.
You pushed your power forward, imagining light slipping in through the seam of the box. An image flashed in your mind. It was blurry, but held onto its form long enough for you to make it out.
“Drop earrings. Rubies,” you said with a straight back before dropping the box into Rhysand’s open palm.
He smirked and clicked it open. Gold banded rubies hung from the backing like bloody tears, each drop separated by a diamond that flashed brighter than the stars in the ever darkening sky.
You dared to smile, staring at the jewelry with a level of satisfaction you hadn’t felt since being handed top marks as an apprentice.
“Very nicely done.”
The box disappeared back into his desk beside a glimmering gemstone the size of your fist wrapped in tissue paper.
It’s probably for Amren. You thought to yourself. Azriel told you she loved shiny things and hoarded her treasures like a crow. Hence why she’d yet to return from Summer with Varian.
You moved on to the next portion of your exercises. With a feather light touch, Rhysand laid his hands on your palms, your wrists, your forearm, your shoulders. He moved up and down your body, waiting a minute for you to control yourself before touching the next flash of exposed skin. It was still difficult to completely contain your power, but you were getting better at moving it around your body. When he reached for your hands, you slid the magic up to your chest. When he reached for your knees, it moved down to your ankles. It was a delicate dance, like the curling of ocean water away from the shore or the splitting of a river around a stone.
You did what you could to experience the touches with a clinical detachment and Rhysand did as well. He was careful. He stopped the moment you let out a gasp of surprise at the feeling of warm skin pressed against your own and there wasn’t an ounce of judgement written in his beautiful features when you trembled beneath his touch.
“Take your time,” he said encouragingly.
For him, touch was a necessary part of life. He always had an arm slung over Cassian’s shoulders or wrapped around Feyre’s waist. He fell asleep with his mate pressed against him and he walked around the River House with Nyx on his shoulders and Velaria curled up in his arms. But there were also mornings when he’d wake up in a cold sweat, the feeling of Amarantha’s red-tipped nails dragging down his chest like she wanted to take more from him than just his body. Those were the days Feyre knew to give him his space.
“Take all the time that you need.”
Rhys stepped away. You steadied your breath and took time to record your progress in the journal you kept close by. Although there was no true way to quantify your learning, your Day Court training never left you and you wrote down what little could be put into words — for posterity’s sake. Then maybe the next Clairvoyant the Mother willed into existence would have an easier time navigating this than you.
Gwyn found you squirreled away in your usual reading room, back bowed over a flurry of books and note pages like a reed in the wind. You reached for the mug on the desk only to find it disappointingly empty. Unlike the River House, the Library did not fuel your caffeine addiction with reckless abandon.
She floated over, abandoning the cart of books she’d been tasked with returning that night. Her legs were throbbing from the split squats Cassian had coached her through that evening, and she was desperate for a break.
“Some light reading, I see?” she teased, sinking into the seat across from you.
You looked up, eyes red-rimmed and swollen. It took a few moments for Gwyn’s shape to come into focus.
“What?” The word slurred coming out of your mouth.
She tapped the ever growing pile of papers beside you. Your manuscript: 120 hand-written pages and counting. When the book became too frustrating to handle, you abandoned it in exchange for another productive task. Even if the 120 pages you’d reproduced were utter garbage.
You groaned, forehead slamming against the wood with a clatter. Thoughts of white blood cells, lymphatic vessels, and innate and acquired immunity knotted in your brain like the world’s worst game of cat’s cradle.
Gwyn would have found it amusing if she didn’t know just how much time you spent within the mountain. You’d effectively been adopted by the priestesses. Lurking here and there like a cat coming in from the cold. And you were just as disapproving as a stray. Gwyn would often catch you among the stacks, mumbling about the disorganization and how you couldn’t work in such paltry conditions.
“Cauldron boil me, I’m sorry for asking.” Gwyn raised her hands in surrender.
You let out a great, heaving sigh. “It’s not you.”
“Oh I know it’s not me. You look like you’ve been dragged through a gutter.”
You blinked wearily at the lovely priestess.
“A very clean, well-managed gutter.” She grinned. Her skin shone, reflecting the pale, fuzzy moonlight that filtered through the window above and doused the library in a silver sheen.
“Thank you, Gwyn.”
“Anytime.” She drummed her nails against the table, the beat of it almost sending you to sleep. “How long have you been here today?” she asked with concern.
“I don’t know. What time is it?”
“After midnight.”
“Oh.”
“How long?” Gwyn repeated and you dragged a hand down your face.
“Seven hours? Give or take?” Your stomach growled.
“Oh for fuck’s sake.”
Gwyn grabbed you by the end of your robes, tugging you up several floors and down an unfamiliar hallway until you stopped in front of a teal-blue tapestry. Selkies, sirens, and water nymphs dove in and out of rippling waters highlighted by iridescent beads. She flung it to the side and pressed her hand against the bare stone. The slab sank into the wall and then slid open to reveal a cream-colored room adorned with bundles of babies' breath.
“Sit,” she commanded, pointing to the neatly made bed. You swayed dangerously on your feet.
“I’m really fine. I didn’t mean to bother you.”
“Sit. Down.” She cut you with a lethal gaze Nesta would be proud of.
You snapped your mouth shut, shuffled across the carpeted floor, and sank into the queen-sized bed. You played with the ties of your robe wrapping them around your finger, then unwrapping them, then wrapping them again.
King Tiberion, third of the Nachmanian line, born Aschieron Cambria Nostrus Tiberion Dalgna to Effel Taul and foreign-born…
Found dead at a young three-hundred-and-ninety-two years of age at the hands of her brother. Spell cleaver or not, Ingrid…
Something like a lock and a key. Magic that’s perfectly complementary might be afforded the unique ability to seal… and break… gods I’m tired…
There have only been seven recorded Shadowsingers in history: Lovania Vallant born 895 in the age of Alders (see ref. 18992HBG Carstairs), Gherald Dashiv born 1459 in the age of —
Gwyn snapped her fingers in front of you, pulling your mind out of the hurricane of thoughts. You were a strange creature. You spoke little, moved about the Library as quiet as a mouse, and you had an interesting habit of running your fingers along every book on the shelf. Back and forth, back and forth you’d run along before jerking to a stop like one of the books had caught you at the end of a fishing lure.
“Are you ok?”
“I’m fine,” you repeated.
“You’re a terrible liar.”
“Some would say that’s a good thing. It would make me incredibly trustworthy, at least when it comes to responding to things. I’d be terrible at keeping secrets, unless I was very careful about how I went about things. You know how it is. With the things.”
Gwyn huffed with silent laughter and opened one of the cabinets in her small, makeshift kitchen. “Eat.” She commanded again and you were too slow to catch the sleeve of biscuits she tossed in your direction. It bounced off your forehead and landed in your lap. “I’ll be right back with something more substantial.”
The door shut with a puff of air and you were left to chew on the chocolate and orange biscuits in silence.
Gwyn’s room faced the city and you saw the lamplights burning through the windows that had been cut into the mountain rock, mimicking the stars that twinkled overhead like salt poured onto black glass.
Cream satin sheets caught the moonlight until it glowed and you had the sudden urge to tip back and fall into oblivion. You could work for a long while, so long as you didn’t sit still long enough for the exhaustion to catch up to you — which you were doing now.
You shoved another biscuit in your mouth, now almost halfway through the sleeve. It helped settle the hollowness in your stomach so you could pick yourself up and move over to the bookshelf.
Bodice ripper, bodice ripper, murder mystery, bodice ripper, romantic comedy, found family adventure, spy thriller, bod—
Your face went red. Damn.
The priestess chose that moment to return to her room carrying a tray laden with bread, orange slices, and a thick mushroom stew leftover from dinner. She froze, pale cheeks turning a dusty rose as you silently pushed the book back onto the shelf.
“Dragon-born? Really?” You shoved a burning spoonful of stew in your mouth and drowned the stale crust of bread, waiting for it to get sufficiently soggy enough you could chew it.
Gwyn groaned and buried her face in her pillows. “It was a phase.”
“Must have been a very long phase. You have the whole series and I know it took her thirty years to write them all.”
Her head shot up. “How do you know?”
“I read the first book.”
You sat up straighter, back pressed up against the closet that housed her daily robes, ceremonial garb, training gear, and Valkyrie armour.
“So how can you judge me?!”
“It makes no anatomical sense, Gwyn!” You threw your hands up in the air. “She’s four feet shorter than him. He’d sooner tear her in half before giving her any pleasure, and I’m not talking about his claws.”
The priestess scoffed. “Have some imagination, Y/n.”
You huffed and pulled out a notebook from your ample pockets. You both spent the next thirty minutes going through hastily drawn sketches that would have disappointed Feyre to no end testing out your imaginative capabilities. Gwyn couldn’t stop smiling at you as you moved your hands through the air with animated fervor. Half of what you said didn’t make sense, but she would blame it on your sleep deprivation.
You had Gwyn in stitches. The female hung off the bed, red-brown hair brushing the ground as she gasped for breath. You looked like you were sitting on the ceiling, black robes pooled around your knees like shadows.
That sobered Gwyn up a bit. It was a real shame she liked you as much as she did. It made it harder for her to stay mad at Azriel.
And as if you read her mind, you asked, “Why don’t you come around to the River House?”
“What?” She wasn’t laughing anymore.
“Why don’t you come to the River House?” You asked again. “You’re close friends with Nesta. You’re part of the Inner Circle. You have a guest room there, but I haven’t seen you at the house.”
“Do you even spend enough time at the River House to know?”
“Yes.”
Gwyn sighed and straightened up, folding her legs neatly beneath her on the bed. “Some… Some things happened a couple years ago. I won’t bore you with the details and I don’t know if I even have the right to tell you everything, but it’s colored the way the Inner Circle works now.”
“The details are the most important part,” you murmured, “I wish I had more details. Then maybe I wouldn’t feel like such a stranger in that house.”
“You’re not a stranger,” Gwyn reassured you. “Is that why you spend so much time here?” she asked with genuine curiosity.
“Yes and no. It feels closer to home here. Even if your lack of organization has made my job ten times more difficult. I don’t see why you haven’t adopted any kind of classification system. It’s a small library. It would be very easy to implement.” You sighed and rubbed your eyes. Gods, you were tired. The feeling came and went in waves. “I shouldn’t complain though, everyone has been incredibly kind and welcoming. Especially Azriel.”
You wrapped your arms around yourself, fingers fluttering against your shoulders. You tucked your chin into your elbows and tried not to think about that glorious night of sleep with only Azriel and his shadows. Waking up with his chest rising and falling on the floor beside you.
You were falling for him and you knew it. Gods did you know it. Or maybe you could convince yourself you weren’t falling yet, but it was a steady march to the cliff’s edge and you weren’t stopping anytime soon.
Gwyn felt her heart stutter. “Oh? He’s usually so… quiet and… reserved.”
You thought about it for a long while.
“I don’t think he’s nearly as quiet as everyone believes him to be,” you said thoughtfully, “I think he just speaks in his own way.”
You were right about Godswood and The Gallows.
The letter arrived on your desk early in the morning.
The Bookkeeper, Taunum Hyst, was found trying to burn books in the western greenwoods along with some texts from Argot’s. He fought back against the guards sent to retrieve him, but he didn’t know what he was doing. Even now he’s confused and adamant that the last three weeks have been a blur. There’s a daemati at work here. Someone other than Henna. Rhysand knows, if he hasn’t already told you.
I’ve sent a translated folktale in old Bauldish and Common, and another in Demnyon along with the others you asked for. They might be worth looking into to help with the book. I hope you’re enjoying your stay at the Night Court. Happy hunting and stay safe.
~ Helion
You were right.
You dropped the letter, hands coming up to your mouth as you took in a deep, shaky breath. You knew Taunum Hyst. You could picture his salt-grey braids and coal-black skin. He’d helped perform the funeral rites for your mother. Hell he’d managed to make you laugh that terrible day.
Your stomach turned. If there truly was another daemati left in the Day Court that could help explain the killings. Either the Librarians could have died trying to keep the knowledge in their minds safe, or the daemati had made them kill themselves before moving onto their next victim. You didn’t know which was more tragic.
The clock rang eleven bells and you hastily folded up the paper, dropping it into the box along with the rest of your father’s letters.
“I think this might be the first time you’ve ever been late,” Rhysand said with an amused smirk. He leaned against the doorway to his office, ankles crossed over one another. Did that male ever stand normally?
“It is the first time.”
“Of course you would know that.”
You smirked, pushing open the door to find—
“Azriel?”
The Shadowsinger stood with his hands neatly folded behind his back. “Y/n?”
“Cassian!” The Lord of Bloodshed leapt in front of his brother, arms spread wide. “I’m also here. Nesta couldn’t make it with Valkyrie training.”
Feyre rolled her eyes with affection. She reached for Rhysand’s hand without thinking and he accepted with barely a glance. They were two magnets, always pulled towards one another in space.
“What’s going on?” You glanced back and forth between them all. It had always been just you and Rhysand during these lessons.
“I thought it would be good to start practicing with other people when it comes to physical touch,” Rhysand explained. Azriel’s nostrils flared. “You’re getting comfortable with me, which I’m happy about. But I want you to get comfortable with everyone else too.”
You told me you wanted another debrief about the Mortal Lands. Azriel was loath to admit that just the thought of touching your hand was making his heart race like a schoolboy.
And I do. Rhysand said rather smugly, as if he already knew Azriel was freaking out inside. But I also know you wouldn’t have agreed to this if I asked you ahead of time. It’s amusing to see you like this, brother. Have you forgotten how to touch a female? His violet eyes glittered with mischief.
Azriel swallowed, eyes trained on you as you mulled over Rhysand’s comment and nodded. You wanted to be comfortable too. Comfortable in your body. Comfortable with other people touching you.
You thought of what it might feel like to have Azriel’s hand tucked beneath your chin, not just his shadows, and shivered.
Azriel nearly choked when you started undoing the ties of your robes. The gold embroidered fabric slipped off your shoulders in a soft hush that had Azriel going rigid. You wore traditional Night Court fashion beneath your Librarian robes — a tight black shirt revealed the gentle curves of your arms, the cut of your collarbones against your chest, the thin band of flesh around your stomach; a breezy skirt with slits cut into the sides that revealed flashes of your thighs with every movement you made.
Feyre, Rhysand, and Cassian all shared looks, nearly bursting out laughing at the way Azriel’s shadows were in flight around him. A swarm of bees buzzing and murmuring about how beautiful you looked.
Azriel had seen many fae in his time in various states of undress. He’d seen males and females in the Court of Nightmares parade about in scraps of silk and lace. He’d taken countless lovers to bed. Bodies were something he knew well. Something he knew intimately. But he had never felt so flustered as he did looking at you like this. He thought his heart might just burst in his chest.
Cassian elbowed Azriel in the ribs when you weren’t looking and one of Azriel’s shadows looped around his ponytail and pulled.
“Ow.” Cassian rubbed the back of his head with a grin. “Rude.”
You felt rather ridiculous standing in the center of the room with your arms and legs stretched out to the side.
“Right arm,” Rhysand called out.
Cassian bounced back and forth on the balls of his feet, fists held loose by his sides with the lightness of a male a quarter of his size.
You squinted. Is he… is he about to punch me?
Cassian read the alarm on your face and grinned, hitting you with a tap gentler than rainfall.
You snorted, but felt nothing. Perfect.
You had to be grateful for Cassian’s light-heartedness. He had the worry melting off your shoulders. With every limb that Rhys called out, Cassian would do a little dance before punching you or kicking you. At one point he even faked a blow to your face, spinning up to you before leaping into the air and shooting out his right leg. You didn’t flinch as his boot swung an inch away from your face. You could smell the rubber soles of his boots.
“You missed,” you teased.
Cassian pouted, turning around to walk back to the wall now that he was finished with his piece. Azriel looked ready to tear his head off his body.
You’re lucky you missed. Azriel’s eyes screamed across the room. You’d be a dead man if you hurt her.
Cassian winked and blew him a kiss.
Feyre was next. You practiced brushing against her like you would do in a crowded street complete with the obligatory fumbling of apologies.
“Oh good heavens.” Feyre fanned her face like the old, upper-class women in her village used to do and laid on that sickly sweet accent they all had. “I’m so dreadfully sorry.” — They never were.
She shook your hand and touched your shoulders and looped her arm around your waist. That was the part that had you worried. You slid your power away from every inch of your skin, wrapped it up like a secret, and held it deepin your chest.
“Good.” Rhysand smiled and Cassian punched the air.
You breathed deeply and gave a small bow like you’d just finished a performance. But there was still one person you were meant to touch today, and they made you the most nervous of all.
Azriel stepped forward, a picture of calm. Inside, he was raging like a storm. He kept his hands firmly grasped behind his back, wings pressed so tightly he felt his shoulders start to ache.
You took a step forward as well, tilting your head back to look at him. You felt the grip on your power falter when he held out his hand palm up like he was asking you for a dance. Months ago at the Summer Solstice ball you’d been approached by a number of males hoping for a song with their hands at your waist and at your shoulder. The prospect of that kind of touch had terrified you then, and it still terrified you now but for different reasons. Because this time, you wanted it.
You wanted him.
You gently slid your hand into his, feeling the scars roll beneath your soft skin like the mountains that surrounded Velaris. Your breath caught in your throat, but before Azriel could rip his hand away you held on and squeezed reassuringly.
You’d read hundreds, if not thousands, of romance novels in your time. You’d consumed them with a ravenous hunger, surviving on them when real touch felt like a hopeless dream and the loneliness became too much to bear. And in nearly every single one of them, the first touch between lovers was described as an explosion of color. A dangerous shaking of the world down to its foundations. A cataclysmic event.
But you were surprised to find that they were wrong. They were all wrong. Azriel wasn’t destroying anything. He was mending.
It felt like a re-centering. The shifting of a leaning tower so it stood upright again.
A blissful silence.
Azriel cradled your hand in his, thumbs smoothing over your knuckles. He couldn’t help what he did next, couldn’t have stopped himself even if Helion stood at his back with murder in his eyes.
He leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of your hand with such reverence, such tenderness, that you swore your heart was glowing in your chest.
“Why don’t you try a hug, Y/n?” Rhysand suggested when Azriel had straightened. “If you want.”
You looked down at your feet where shadows swarmed, and then up at Azriel.
“What do you say, Y/n?” Azriel murmured softly. His words were for you and you only. “Where would you have me touch you?” His hazel eyes caught the light before scattering into a thousand brilliant colors.
Wordlessly you ran your fingers down his arms, tracing the shape of the muscle beneath the leather. You held his hands and gently led them up to your waist, gasping when he made contact. His warm fingers brushed the exposed skin of your waist before sliding around to your back.
You balanced on the tips of your toes, looping your arms around his neck before resting your face in the hollow between his neck and shoulder. He smelled like leather and the mountains. Wind and rain and nightfall coalescing into something so uniquely him you could pick him out in a room of thousands with your eyes closed.
It started out as a loose, misshapen thing, your hands and his arms searching for the right grip to hold your bodies together. But once you found it, you were lost.
Azriel wrapped his arms around your back and waist, hands splayed out like he was absorbing you into him. And you were no better. You buried your face in his neck, lips pressed up against the curve of his throat so you could feel the rhythmic rush of blood through his veins.
He refused to be the first to let go. The roof could cave in. The floor could drop out from beneath your feet. He would not let you go.
Your tears started out slow, coupled by ragged, shallow breaths.
“I’ve got you, Y/n,” Azriel whispered. “I’ve got you.”
How long had it been since you’d been held like this? A hundred years? Two hundred? You thought you’d learned to live without it, but now that it was yours you didn’t think you’d ever, ever be able to give it up. You were at the cliff’s edge now and without an ounce of hesitation you flung yourself over and into the abyss.
With Azriel, controlling your powers didn’t seem like such a difficult thing. Later that evening when you lay in bed staring up at the ceiling, you realized you hadn’t been thinking of control at all.

Can you do Magneto x reader
Were Magneto finds the reader to ask if they’ll be his queen (NSFW if you feel comfortable)? 🫶🏾
Tumblr media
A/N: OF COURSE I CAN. I did turn it into a marriage proposal as well, hope that’s okay! Also this part of their dance made me FERAL over this old man-
Warnings: NSFW, fem! Reader
“Will you rule Genosha beside me…and be my queen?” Erik asked from down on one knee before you, one hand holding yours and the other holding a small velvet box, a beautiful silver ring with a delicate diamond glimmering up at you.
Your heart ceased its beating, your breath caught in your throat, the world seemed to stop around you. It felt like you were the only two people in the world. He chose sunset to propose, the sky was a beautiful shade of pink and brilliant orange outside, accenting his pink lips and beautiful blue eyes gazing up at you with love and adoration.
“Erik, I…yes! Yes of course I will!” You beamed down at him, embracing him when he stood up to kiss you passionately.
Erik had been planning this proposal for some time now, keeping it secret for months by now. The only person that sort of new was none other than Scott Summers (and probably Jean/Madelyne) because he had asked how Scott had proposed to Jean. Other than that, nobody had any idea he would be proposing, including you. The two of you had been together for a few years by now, you shared his same vision of a world built for mutants where they would be safe. You stood beside him and supported him through everything, joined him in leading the X-Men after receiving Charles’ will, defending him when the team defied him. Now, you were at Genosha to attend the gala, welcoming the nation to the UN. With everything going on, Erik didn’t know that this would be the right time to propose, but it just felt right to do it in this moment.
“I love you, Y/N. So much.” He breathed between desperate kisses, his arms wrapped around your waist to hold you as close as humanly possible.
“I love you too, Erik.” You smile into another kiss, keeping his face close to yours by holding the back of his head and standing on your toes to wrap your arm around his neck.
“I never want to leave your side. I want to be with you forever.” He trailed his lips down to your jaw, before attaching to your neck and sucking at your sweet spot just below your ear. You moan slightly at the action, arching into his touch as you subconsciously tug at his silver hair.
“I will be by your side forever.” You promised him, your other hand grabbing a fistful of his suit jacket, pulling him impossibly closer to you as his lips ravaged your neck. “Erik…~”
“Yes, my love?”
“I need you~” you moaned as he left one last mark on your neck, before grinning at you and hoisting you up to carry you, your legs wrapped around his slender waist as his lips reattached to your own.
You opened your mouth slightly to allow his tongue to enter, grabbing at his hair blindly as he walked towards the bed in the spacious penthouse room. He set you down gently on the soft sheets, bending down to be level with you as his hands wandered from where he held your hips to your waist, up your blouse to touch your skin. You felt a shiver run up your spine at the action as you let go of his hair to push his jacket off his shoulders, before he finished taking it off and tossed it aside to the floor. You sat back on the bed a bit to watch him strip his suit off, to which he quickly undid the buttons on his dress shirt and hastily shrugged it off. You but your lip seeing his toned abdomen and pecs, your eyes following the happy trail of silver hair that disappeared behind his pants. You let out a surprised yelp when he grabbed your legs and pulled, causing you to fall onto your back as you felt him kiss your knee, thumbs rubbing your thighs as his kisses trailed up your leg. He pushed your dress up to reach your underwear, pulling them down and off your legs to reveal your pussy, wet and glistening for him.
“My dear, you never cease to leave me breathless~” he purred, kissing your inner thigh once more, never breaking eye contact with you.
“Erik, you-OH!” You moaned out when you felt his tongue make contact with you. Your back arched off the bed and your head instinctively tossed back, your hair fanning out below you as your eyes clamped shut at the feeling. Erik’s calloused hands held your soft thighs in his hands, keeping them spread for him as his tongue worked at your pussy. He moaned into your cunt at your reaction, amused at how just a single swipe of his tongue made you writhe in his hold.
“E-Erik! Yes! Just like that! Right there!” You gasped as his tongue expertly ate you out, knowing the exact right spots to add more pressure to and where to tease just right. Your thighs started clamping around his head, this time he allowed it and let your legs keep him caged between them. His hands gripped out your hips, rubbing your sides as his head started to move more, focused on getting you to cum all over his tongue. You grinned your hips into his face, feeling that familiar coil inside of you begin to tighten as he lapped at your clit, sucking on it before licking it roughly. Your hands flew down to his hair once again and shoved him deeper into you, earning a moan from him at the action, knowing you were close. With a few more swipes of his tongue, you came undone, your body tensing up and shaking as you reached your orgasm. You let out choked moans as he lapped up your juices, cleaning you up and eating you out through your orgasm. Once he was finished, he wiped his mouth before climbing up to lie on top of you, pressing his lips soaked in your cum to yours. You gladly opened your mouth to taste yourself on his tongue, moaning into him as he ran a hand through your hair soothingly.
“I love you. You are so beautiful.” He huffed out, catching his breath as he pulled away just enough to look you in the eyes. “You are the most amazing person I’ve ever met. You are extraordinary, mein Schätzchen.”
“I love you.” You smiled up at him, your hand moving to cup his face. Your thumb stroked his cheek, Erik leaning into your touch as you gazed into each others eyes lovingly. “You’re so determined, so powerful, so admirable. I am honored to stand beside you, Erik.”
“I am honored you stand beside me.” He took your hand and kissed your palm, shutting his eyes to savor your touch for a moment. He leaned down ever so slightly to rest his forehead against yours, your own eyes shutting too to relish in the moment with your new fiancé.
After a few minutes of just holding each other, Erik got up to finish undressing, before he helped you take off your fancy gown for the gala. You kicked off your high heels and unclipped your bra, tossing it aside before you beckoned him back to you with a finger and a smirk adorning your pretty face. Erik of course, couldn’t resist and crawled right back to you and mirrored your grin, before settling between your legs and leaning down to kiss you. One hand held himself up while the other trailed down to your pussy, still sensitive from your first orgasm as his palm rubbed it a few times before you felt two of his fingers enter you.
“Oh, fuck! Erik!” You tossed your head back, your jaw hanging open in a moan as you felt his fingers begin to prep you.
“Oh, the sounds you make for me…” Erik bit his lip as he watched your face contort with pleasure, your chest rising and falling rapidly as he picked up the pace of his fingers, the pad of his thumb grazing against your clit gently. He rested his body against yours to press kisses to the valley between your breasts, movingly his fingers and expertly finding that spot in you that made your hands fly up to claw at his bare shoulders. You choked out moans and whines as you came undone around his fingers, your nails now drawing blood from how hard you gripped him. Erik didn’t even flinch however, keeping himself occupied with leaving hickies on your breasts and sucking on your nipples, his fingers beginning to slow down, before he pulled them out gently and allowed you a moment to catch your breath. He then raised his hand to shove his fingers into your mouth, having you suck them clean of your slick before pressing a kiss to your lips when you were finished. You propped yourself up on your elbows when he moved to align his cock with your entrance, his top prodding at your hole as he pushed you back down onto the bed, grabbing both of your hands and intertwining his fingers with yours and holding them on either side of your head.
“Are you ready?” He asked, as if you hadn’t taken him a hundred times before. He was always caring and loving like that though, always making sure you were comfortable and still enjoying your time in bed with him.
“Yes, love, please!” You begged him, needing him inside of you, feeling so empty and unsatisfied despite already orgasming twice while he hadn’t at all yet. He chuckled at your response, tucking a strand of messy hair behind your ear, before squeezing your hand and starting to push into you. Your mouth opened in a silent moan as you felt him slide in easily, your opening nice and slick from your orgasms, allowing him to easily enter you. Once bottomed out, Erik pressed his forehead to yours to allow you both a moment, before his hips began to move.
“Y/N, you feel so…oh! God, I love you!” Erik groaned as he felt you squeeze around him, your lips finding his jaw and placing sweet kisses on it to encourage him to keep going. His hands clutched yours tightly, and he let out a small moan as your soft lips danced along his jawline.
“Show me how much you love me~” you purred up at him, one of your hands leaving his own to tangle in his hair, pulling his face towards yours to capture his lips against your own. The both of you moaned into the kiss as he picked up his pace with his hips, his now free hand grasping at one of your breasts and fondling it. Your breath hitched when his tip hit you deep inside, sending a shiver up your spine and making your hand clamp around his at the feeling.
“Oh! Right there! Right there! Please, Erik!” You broke the kiss with him, your eyes rolling into the back of your head as he hit that spot again and again. You let out a loud moan when he began hitting that spot harder and faster, using his free hand to now hold himself up on the bed for support. Erik smiled down at you as you began to writhe beneath him, your hips moving to meet his now as you wrapped your legs tightly around his waist, not wanting him to go anywhere.
“I’m here.” He chuckled at your desperation, holding your hand firmly and raising it to kiss the back of it. “I’m here, Y/N.”
“E-Erik! I-I’m gonna…! Oh! Fuck! Erik!” You began to scream, feeling yourself begin to reach the edge.
“That’s it…cum for me, my love. I’m almost there too.” He panted above you, continuing his pace and feeling you tighten even more around him, making it harder to push in and out of you as your pussy sucked him back in. You whimpered as you neared your high, your hand that was tangled in his hair moving to scratch at his shoulder blades again, needing something to ground you as you finally toppled over the edge. Your body spasmed and shook, letting out a screaming moan at the intensity of your orgasm as he fucked you through it. You soon felt Erik cum inside of you, his warm sperm filling you as he moaned with you, his hips shaking and stuttering against your own.
Once your climaxes both dissipated, Erik pulled out of you and collapsed beside you on the bed, chest heaving as he caught his breath. You felt your body twitch from the orgasmic shocks coursing through you as you moved to lay on your side, resting your cheek against his pec. Erik kissed you on the forehead and ran a hand through your hair, resting his lips on your soft skin and relishing in the moment with you, basking in the intense love the both of you felt in the air for each other.
“We should get ready for the gala. People will wonder where we are.” You finally spoke after minutes of silence, lifting your head to look at him and cup his face in your hand.
“Let them wonder for a few moments more.”

Benedict Bridgerton x Female Reader
Benedict bumps into you, quite literally, at a ball while trying to escape his mother's attempts to find him a partner. You decide to humour him with a dance, not realising just how entwined you would become with him. It seems the universe will find every excuse to push you and Benedict together, no matter how much you fight it.

Chapter Eight - Sparkling diamond
♡♡♡
Benedict joined his sister, Eloise, out in the garden again long after the other had gone to bed. She was smoking on the swing like last time.
As Benedict takes a seat on the opposite swing, she passes him the cigarette. He takes it.
"I found bits of your sketchbook in the fireplace," Eloise says.
"Are you spying on me now?"
"You'd actually have to be interesting for me to bother spying on you," she chuckles.
"The drawings in that sketchbook were abominable," he says firmly. "I could not stand to look at them."
"I believe that is why they call it a sketchbook." Eloise looks at them. "I write in my diary, which is not the same as wiring in my novel."
Benedict chuckles.
"It must be very difficult to want something and not be able to get it."
"Eloise..."
"If you enjoy drawing but need practise, then practise," she goes on. "Hire a drawing master. Find a young lady to act impressed."
You cross his mind. However, he doesn't want you to act impressed. He wants you to be impressed by his work. Genuinely so.
"If you desire the sun and the moon, all you have to do is go out and shoot at the sky. Some of us cannot.
"Look no further than Lady Whistledown. She possesses a huge talent for writing, and yet she must hide away and publish under a false name."
"Yes, because if anyone knew who Whistledown truly was, she'd be strung up for what she said," Benedict states.
"That is not my point. Whistledown is a woman, therefore she has nothing, and still she writes. You're a man, therefore you have everything. You are able to do whatever you want. So do it. Be bold."
Eloise envies her brothers.
"At least that way I can live vicariously through you." She rises to leave.
"Eloise... are you Lady Whistledown?" Benedict asks.
Eloise laughs.
"You're an accomplished writer, always scribbling in that diary of yours. You certainly know everyone else's business. You have more opinions than anyone else I know in London. You would have my full support and admiration either way, sister."
Elosie laughs again.
"So... is it you?"
"No." She looks at him. "Though if it were... do you honestly think that I'd admit it?"
Elosie heads back inside.
Benedict is left with his thoughts.
♡♡♡
The ballroom was elegantly designed. Soft shades to light up the room. You find yourself without a dance partner, however.
Prince Friedrich was in the middle of a dance with Cressida Cowper.
The duke was standing sternly off to the side with Lady Danbury. They appeared to be talking quietly, though judging by the stern faces, it was not a pleasant conversation.
You find yourself gently, and you admire the room. Benedict wasn't here. You couldn't see him at all.
That is not to say you had gone unnoticed. You glance to your left and find a perfectly suitable gentleman looking your way. You smile softly and turn your gaze away.
Tactics of flirtation were not completely out of your power.
Before anyone could make a move, however, the doors at the top of the stairs opened. It wasn't so much the doors that caught everyones attention, more like who had come through them.
You swear you all breath left you when your eyes landed on Daphne coming down the stairs with her mother. She was wearing the most beautiful silver gown you had ever seen, and her hair was beautifully done. She looked like, well, a princess.
In her hand was a feather fan. It went beautifully with her attire. She began to descend the stairs.
All eyes were on her.
Prince Friedrich was at the bottom of the stairs. Not once did he look away. You watch with interest as Daphne gets closer, closer, and closer to him.
The prince leaves Cressida's side to meet Daphne at the bottom stair.
The duke does not move.
Daphne stops.
"Miss Bridgerton, I simply musylt have your first dance." He speaks to her softly.
"It would be an honour, your highness." She curtsies.
A moment passes between them, and then you watch as Daphne drops her fan. Just like that, the prince kneels down to pick it up.
The prince kneeled.
You don't even realise the soft gasp you let out as you watch.
Prince Friedrich offers her the fan, and she takes it. She smiles at him and then gives the fun to her mother as she takes the prince hand.
They dance.
The duke leaves. Though he turns back to look at Daphne before he goes.
In the words of Lady Whistledown, why settle for a duke when one can have a prince?
♡♡♡
The invitation to attend the boxing match came from Anthony Bridgerton. You were rather pleasantly surprised by his invitation.
Anthony apparently needed some help to keep his mother quiet about finding a wife for himself.
You laughed.
You follow the siblings until they reach the prince. He approaches Daphne, but greets you, also. You curtsy.
Anthony then offers you his arm. "Shall we?"
You chuckle and take it, allowing him to lead you over to some seats. As you settle, you turn to the eldest Bridgerton.
"Where are you brothers?" You ask.
"My brothers? Currently talking to one of the fighters." He gestures to the edge of the ring where you spot Colin and Benedict.
You don't even notice you're smiling.
"You and my brother seem to have grown rather close." Anthony points out, looking at you.
"I can assure you there is nothing untoward. Your brother is my friend, as are you all now." You smile at him.
Anthony chuckles.
"Benedict seems to have a lot on his mind at the moment. I am not one to get in the way of someone's business."
"Smart woman," Anthony chuckles.
You nudge his arm lightly and wait for the fight to begin.
As the match is announced to begin, the other brothers find their way to you and Anthony. Benedict looks rather surprised to see you. "I had no idea you were attending."
"Your brother invited me to keep your mother off his back. It seems that is all I'm good for." You chuckle.
"No true, but appreciated none the less," Benedict comments.
You smile, and he takes the empty seat beside you. It does not go unnoticed that you keep your arm looped with Anthony's. He doesn't comment on it.
The fight is intense. You gasp with every hard punch. The men around you cheer on their victor.
You had never witnessed such a match before, and you would be lying if you said you were not somewhat into it.
As the crowd stands, you stand with them and cheer along with the Bridgerton brothers. William Mondrich was their friend, and he was putting up hell of a good fight.
Benedict finds it amusing how excited you seem to be.
Mondrich wins!
You cheer along with the brothers. You laugh at the excitement. It was a thrilling match, indeed.
Anthony helps you down from your seat and speaks close to your ear so you can hear him. "We're off to collect our winnings. I shall see to it you get home right after."
You nod and thank him. As he leaves to fetch his earrings, Benedict turns to you.
"Did you enjoy that?"
You chuckle. "I did. Surprisingly."
"I must say, I did not expect to see you in attendance."
"I am full of surprises."
Benedict looks at you quietly for a moment. "Yes. You are."
You smile and look away. However, his gaze lingers on you for a bit.
Later, the Bridgertons see to it that you get home safely before they head off to the club. A place for the gentlemen only.
Anthony helps you up into the carriage and thanks you for humouring him today. Yo return the gesture and wave as the carriage leaves.
Colin has to nudge Benedict out of his thoughts.

𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 ∣ day thirty-one ( we did it !!! ) [ leviathan + sensory deprivation ( blindfolding ) ]
Tumblr media
“Leviathan,” your voice is soft and needy, and your hands reach blindly for him. you could hear his breathing, feel the furious heat of it against your neck, tickling your earlobe, setting all of your hairs on end. “— let me see you. Please.” you choked the plea out, coupled with a stuttering breath. he was so beautiful, you could only imagine how sinful he would look right now, his tight, lean form drenched in sparkling diamonds of sweat. howlite eyes heavily lidded, glowing with desire, and his cherry-stained cheeks fanned by thick, fluttering blonde lashes.
but, there was an obstruction. satin obsidian, a necktie, bandaged around your eyes, keeping your vision dark and abysmal. if you didn’t gaze upon his perfection while he ruined you, you thought you might be driven to madness.
“Leviathan…”
a soft, pleased grunt accompanied by a gust of hot breath fills your ear. “I might get jealous.” he whispered to you. it was half a threat, but there was an inkling of excitement to his words. as if teasing his envy would thrill him, too. “If you see how beautiful I look while I fuck you. Or… If you see other things that only my eyes are meant to see… the way your back winds like a serpent, hips pushing back to take my cock in,” Leviathan lets out a heavy breath, one gloved hand grasping the flare of your hip and pulling you into his rutting. you cry out, feeling his cock feel you to the hilt. your mouth hangs open, strangled pleas dying on your breathless lips, and he moans again. “The way you drool and babble, just for me. Each and every goosebump that raises on your skin as I touch—“ the digits left unveiled by the leather glove are warm to the touch, and gently rub your skin, massaging the beads of your own perspiration into it. “These things that are only meant for me to witness. I don’t even want you to see how I can make you writhe with lust.”
your hands fumble towards him again, over your head. behind you. trying to grasp his horns. you needed something to hold on to, to squeeze. and you knew his horns were extra sensitive the moment his cock slid into you. “F—feels good..!” you gurgle, swatting haplessly towards where you pictured his horns jut upwards towards the sky. you anticipated feeling the antlers against your finger pads, but your desperate grappling is met with nothing but air.
was he angling his head away, keeping his horns just out of your grip?
“You want to please me more.” he mutters, and it his rumbling baritone is laced with a faint amusement. “To make me cry out and cum so quickly. Is it because you can’t handle me? Is my lovemaking too delicious for you? Does my cock make you so weak and desperate?”
a flustered nod, and a helpless babble of his name. it’s enough to curb his desire for praise for the very small moment. your fingers curl, expecting to do so around air, but there’s a faint jingle. cool metal tickles your knuckles, and you realized that you’ve taken the dainty, silver chain connecting his horns in one, weak fist. “N—need… t-this—“ it’s almost nonsensical, blurting out words that are mere pieces of a complete thought that’s been fucked out of you. “Nee—eed you!”
“You’re enjoying yourself immensely. It feels so good, yes? To take my cock deep and hard, push your limits. I’m being so generous to you, pouring so much pleasure- euphoria, into your sensitive, human body that you can hardly contain it all.” Leviathan sighs, nipping at the edge of the blindfold with his sharp canines, tugging ever so slightly, as if teasing that he might take it off. “Your feeble, mortal psyche might break if I’m too magnanimous. How troublesome it is to be delicate with you, when what I really want is to decimate you completely. Ah, I’m jealous that you can be broken so beautifully.”
“T—the blindfold…” you mewl again, leaning back against his deep, slow thrusting. it feels so good that you can only slump against his chest and hang on to the chain. your jaw hangs slack, tongue dangling against your chin. “Please, Leviathan!”
but you hear a soft clicking, his tongue against his teeth as both of his hands now envelop you— careening upwards to encase your breasts against his palms. he squeezes, thumbs and forefingers pinching your sensitive nipples until you let out a pathetic squeak. “Stay in the dark…” he demands, low and sultry, his tongue slithering out to trace his name over your neck and up into your ear, where he huffs, “I’ll get jealous if you witness this glorious destruction with me.”

your birthday: one | two
Tumblr media
Snow covered the streets and rooftops, not caring about the time of year as it continued to fall. The street was bathed in white, the lamp posts down the curb of the cul-de-sac illuminated the snow that fell in a never ending frenzy.
Wistfully you looked out the window at the scene setting before you. Your chin rested on top your palms and your elbows were perched on the windowsill. Your eyes scanned the landscape before looking up to the white sky. You couldn’t sleep, too captivated by how the snowfall that made your life seem like a movie. You wondered if you looked how you felt, like a character deep in thought or a musician getting ready to sing about love. You believed you could sing about it for the rest of your life, each song about something different. One song would be about the love you felt the moment you stepped into this house. Another would be about the room you stayed in. You would sing about the bed that wasn’t yours that creaked from years of use then no use at all. You would sing about the blissful drowning in memories that weren’t yours, hanging on the wall and heard in the whirring of the old family desktop.
The final song you’d sing, possibly the longest and the most heartfelt would be about the gleaming rock on your ring finger. All the love culminated to the diamond, cut and carved delicately to be put on a wedding band. You would sing the song long after your voice gives out from overuse, even after you realize their is no music left to sing along with. You let out a sigh when your fingers run over the engraved letters on the band, something that was a secret detail kept between you and your husband. You closed your eyes and breathed in deep, taking in all the nostalgia and love and beauty that almost became too much to handle.
When you opened your eyes again you heard the door open behind you. You looked away from the windowsill quickly, hands falling to the armrest of the chair as you used the stability to turn your body further. For a moment you were worried, eyes wide thinking that you woke up the other people in the house. A quiet apology was on your lips before you saw a cautious head poke past the door. Instantly you softened and let out a breath, your hands balling up in silent excitement.
“I thought you’d never show up.” You said quietly.
You didn’t try to hide your smile seeing Eunseok come inside before closing the door softly behind him. You heard the door quietly close, and you watched Eunseok step on the floorboards that wouldn’t creak as he made his way to the bed. He maneuvered around his room like a cat, on his tip-toes and keeping perfect balance. He winced silently as he got on the corner of the bed closest to you, like the smallest sound would trigger something.
“I was taking my time.” Eunseok whispered, looking past you for a moment to the view outside.
You took a quick turn to look outside again. Another layer of snow covered the ground. You smiled to yourself and subconsciously used your thumb to rub the gold band of your ring.
“What are the odds it snows this hard in March?” You spoke while still looking outside, looking up towards the moon to try and find it. Eunseok completely forgot about the world around him until he saw you turn back to him slowly with a smile on your face. “And what are the odds it snows on your birthday?” You add.
He couldn’t stop himself from looking down bashfully at your comment. He stopped trying to fight the blush that would spread across his cheeks when he’d suddenly get your full attention, but he absolutely couldn’t handle keeping eye contact with you while it was happening. Eunseok came up with ways to play off the fact that he still couldn’t look at you for too long without feeling like he was going to die—his hands would fly to his bangs to readjust his hair or he’d shake his head trying his best to muster up a cocky smile.
He fails to remain nonchalant when you move from your place on the recliner to reach towards him. Eunseok instinctually goes further onto his bed, trying to tease you while also trying to give himself some time and distance to get his head in the right place. But his plans are thwarted, they burst into flames when you follow him on your hands and knees. Eunseok tries his best to keep the sly smile as you add extra weight on your hands and knees, purposefully making the bed squeak underneath your body. Eunseok is no better, as he backs away from you his own body makes noise on top of the mattress too. When he gets to the headboard and realizes that there’s two sources of sound coming from this room when there’s only supposed to be one, he puts his hands on your shoulders, stopping you from coming any closer.
“You’re so loud.” He says gently.
You only cocked your head to the side, a confused pout on your lips. Looking at your face smoothed the clenched teeth and furrowed eyebrows Eunseok didn’t realize he had.
“I thought your parents slept through everything?” You asked.
Eunseok was twenty-five. He spent his life at twenty-three living with you. He watched you graduate university and look for a job in your field and at the same time, Eunseok started imagining a proper future with you; one that required him to leave his comfort zone and apply for a higher up position at his job.
At twenty-four he got the promotion the same time you landed a job. This was also around the same time Eunseok started looking at nearby jewelers and learning about different types of rings. At twenty-four Eunseok started planning your anniversary months in advance, long before you began thinking about it. At twenty-four Eunseok reluctantly started keeping secrets from you and hiding the shake in his hands as the date creeped closer and closer. At twenty-four Eunseok brought you to a beautiful restaurant while your friends and family set up the apartment. Like his birthday when he turned twenty-three Eunseok watched you navigate through the darkness of your apartment, talking about no surprises right before everyone revealed themselves. At twenty-four Eunseok got down on one knee and pulled out a ring, smiling to himself as the room went silent. He heard your confirmation the same time the room erupted in cheers and confetti was thrown.
At twenty-five Eunseok went from being your fiancé to your husband. You two went on a honeymoon out of the country where your eyes stayed on the ring, constantly looking at it and sighing in content disbelief. Eunseok repeated the phrase like it that much? with a proud smile on his face.
(He knew you would like it. He made sure you would. Before he even considered buying the ring he took your bestfriend, your sister, and your Mother—all on separate occasions, he had to make sure ones opinion wouldn’t be swayed by the other—to the jewelers. He presented the ring he had in mind to each one of them, asking carefully if it was you. He was delighted to see everyone believed it was the ring. Even your friend who wasn’t easily impressed by Eunseok gave him a nod of approval. He still held onto the not bad, Eunseok like a lifeline when he swiped his card.)
Eunseok was twenty-six and forty-two minutes old now and he knew about way more things than he did the previous years of his life. He was more sure of himself, too. He was a high performer at work and a happy husband, something that seemed so foreign to him when he was a teenager doing God knows what.
But even now, with all of his knowledge and amassed experiences he wasn’t sure if you were batting your eyelashes and pouting at him in a silent attempt to get him to make a move.
Even if Eunseok’s heart was hammering in his chest he wasn’t opposed to it. The sight of you in his childhood bedroom with the backdrop of the beautiful snowfall actually left him fighting the urge to close the space between your two bodies. You stood on your knees now, still looked at him with that glint in your eyes. Eunseok was weak, he was grateful to lean against the headboard to give himself some sense of stability. But the way you leaned back on your haunches with your hands balled up in your lap and your ring staring at him he felt his inhibitions slipping away by the second. He was happy to be back home, Eunseok needed his friends and family to survive, but this trip has tried him to no end.
His parents were extremely old fashioned. They were so set in their ways that Eunseok had to tell you about it incessantly the first time you came over. He sat in the driver seat of his car and lamented the way they were until you nodded your head in annoyance. At the time, before Eunseok’s parents referred to you as their daughter, the only thing you were worried about was them liking you. Eunseok was more worried that you would see first hand why he was such a rebellious asshole as a teenager.
Even though time had passed and Eunseok’s parents arguably treated you better than they treated him, he knew their traditional ways would keep you apart. The first night when you were getting ready for bed Eunseok’s Mom came up behind you, leading you up the stairs to his childhood room while his Father continued talking to him downstairs. When his Dad bid you a goodnight and he started pulling out the couch that turned into a bed he remembers the shock on your face. He remembers you trying to as respectfully as possible tell his Mom that you were fine with the two of you sleeping on the cramped twin mattress in his room. He smiled to himself as he laid out the extra set of blankets, already knowing what his Mother was going to say.
“Eunseokie is sleeping on the couch so you can sleep in his room.” She said with a smile. “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.”
Even though Eunseok knew his Mother was going to keep you two separated at night, he still felt unprepared. He foolishly thought he could handle being away from you for only a night, but he tossed and turned on the couch. He felt like a teenager again, scowling to himself and getting angry at his parents trying to impose rules on him. He was old enough to admit now that he was overreacting when he rebelled to having a curfew as a teenager, or when he’d get grounded for having bad grades and when he’d come home smelling like smoke. But he was a kid then, an ornery asshole with a million hormones running through his bloodstream. Eunseok was a man now—a man who needed to sleep next to his wife to get a goodnight’s rest, but a man nonetheless—he believed he was justified in his indignation at being told what to do.
So each night, almost twenty-six Eunseok turned into a rebellious teenager again. The only difference was that he wasn’t sneaking out of the house, but actually going deeper into it.
He stayed on one side of the staircase to avoid creaking and tiptoed past his parents room to sneak into his. Each night you were already up and waiting for him, a smile on your face as you leaned against the headboard of his bed. Eunseok got a kick out of seeing you be rebellious. On the first night your eyes would widen with each creak of the bed and you quietly shushed him a million times. Eunseok had to assure you that his parents didn’t wake easily and that he would go back down to the couch before morning came just to so you would cuddle with him.
He would’ve never thought you’d get so used to rebelling so quickly. The same girl that was nervous to even cuddle with his parents one room over was now staring at him with intent. You were nervous to even move on his bed the first night but now you played with your allotted decibels, he was starting to believe you purposefully overdid it just to get a rise from him.
You even traded your usual nightwear for a set that was reminiscent of his birthday three years ago. He didn’t want to pay attention to your set when he came in, but now that’s all he could think about. Especially the way one of your straps made it over the edge of your shoulder and draped down your skin so perfectly. Each time you moved even the slightest the silk moved with you.
Between your eyes boring into his and your chest grabbing his attention Eunseok wasn’t sure where to look. He was out of options, his eyes darting to the frames on his wall trying to recall his old memories instead of the image of you crawling on the bed towards him. Unfortunately Eunseok came to realize that it was already seared into his mind, burning everything else into a crisp. All there was in his mind was you, and here you were already in front of him still looking at him with those eyes. Your innocent question lingered in the air the suggestive nature in your voice imprinting on his mind.
When you pushed slightly against Eunseok’s hands, he let his hands travel down to your arms. He had the strap of your set pressed between his palm and your upper arm, and you seized the opportunity to come even closer to him. Instantly you leaned your body against his, letting out a sigh as you looked out the window. Eunseok willed his body to relax as yours settled against his. When you turned to face the window your other strap fell from your shoulder, and you made a clumsy attempt to pull it back up. It seemed to fall down even lower after you tried, forcing Eunseok to move his hands upwards to put them back on your shoulders. He moved his hands up and down your arms, trying to soothe himself by soothing you. The repetitive motions should help his heart go back to its normal pace and that itch spreading across his body that only you could scratch should go away.
Just as Eunseok followed your gaze outside to the snow he saw your eyes go back to his room. You inspected the room like you only saw it in snatches, in between the mornings before heading downstairs and the night before going to bed.
He didn’t know why having you in here felt so different. He was suddenly hyperaware of the pile of clothes in the corner of his room and the aged desktop in the corner of his room. Eunseok noticed the hobby items of the animes he used to watch, the dusty trophies from spelling bees and certificates of decathlons before he decided he wanted to be one of the cool kids. Something that should’ve been hidden in the night was illuminated by the lamp posts and the snow, letting you see the highlights of Eunseok’s childhood. He would’ve told you anything you wanted to know about his life without hesitation, and he was sure he talked about his past before becoming a delinquent before. But still, having you see firsthand the child he used to be was somber. He only watched you in silence as you took it all in, he turned his head from the snow to watch yours tilt and turn as you looked at his life story.
He watched you pause on the cork board that hung on his door. It was dedicated to birthday cards, a faded Have a great Summer! and a faded countdown that reached zero. Eunseok leaned forward to kiss the ball of your shoulder, finding comfort in having his skin against yours in another way. When you hummed it let him know you saw all of him, and you were beginning to digest it. He followed your eyes and leaned his head forward, looking down at your cheek that you chewed on absentmindedly.
“What are you looking at?” He asked.
You looked up at him from his side. He still ran his hands up and down your arms in a soothing motion, only stopping when you pointed to the board.
“What was the countdown for?” You asked.
He forgot himself what the countdown was for. When he remembered he laughed to himself quietly before letting out a  sigh. A million memories ran through his head at once, the good, bad, and ugly that came with being a kid trying to find his way. Eunseok let the memories fall like the snow as he looked out the window again.
“It was a countdown for my eighteenth birthday.” Eunseok continued watching the snowfall as you started laying down, getting more comfortable on the bed. When your head resting in his lap he started touching your cheeks absentmindedly, watching another layer of snow coat the ground. “I was always in such a rush to grow up.”
Eunseok looked away from the snow to the window nook. He wants to laugh again at how melodramatic he was, how he’d sit in that nook and be a moody teenager. He remembers waiting there until his friends pulled up in their car before he’d sneak out to go somewhere he wasn’t supposed to be. Your cheeks were soft underneath the pads of his fingers. He didn’t take his hands away, only nodding his head towards the pillow that was still caved in on itself from years of use and the blanket that was jumbled in the corner.
“I used to sit right there.” Eunseok felt your head turn underneath his hands. “I would look at the sky and just think about what life would be like when I finally left.” He said.
Eunseok didn’t know why he was being so candid. He quietly walked up the stairs with the sole mission to cuddle, maybe even get a kiss or two. He would’ve never thought he’d be sharing the small details of his life he always kept to himself. But he also should’ve known by now that he could keep nothing from you; even if they were insignificant moments in his adolescence he only thought about in passing. Everything had the tendency to come to the surface when he looked at you. He was still trying to figure out why your presence always prompted him to speak. Silence was something Eunseok was praised for when he was a teenager. He wore the mysterious and quiet label like a badge of honor. When you were around, it was useless. Sometimes he felt like he was just talking to talk when you came around, like his body was forcing him to subject you to his voice. He never got better at controlling his urge to talk to you. Even now, his gaze cut back to the falling snow to point his finger through the white haze in the general direction of his neighbors house.
“Our neighbor across the street, can you see his house?”
He wasn’t sure if you were humoring him when you craned your neck to look through the downpour of snow. You nodded your head regardless of if you could see it or not before leaning your head back on his lap. Suddenly his throat felt dry. He didn’t even know what he was going to say, what this useless ramble was leading to but he still felt antsy for some reason. He tried to shake the feeling away by shifting his body underneath yours, using the creaks in his bed as a palette cleanser for his voice.
“He always puts up his lights up during Christmas the exact same day.” Eunseok puts one of his hands behind his body to keep himself propped up while the other continues mindlessly playing with your face. He thinks your eyes stay focused on the corner of the roof that’s visible through the snow. He doesn’t know, because now he really can’t bring himself to look down at you. “Like for as long as i can remember, he always puts them up on December 13th when his son comes from wherever he lives to help him. I think my Mom told me once he drives for three hours just to help his Dad put up decorations on the exact same day, every year.”
Even though your silent, Eunseok knows you heard him. He swears you’re looking at him as a teenager in the nook of his window, blanket curled in his lap as he looks across the cul-de-sac to his neighbors house. He swears you’re right behind him, looking down at the Father and son putting up the Christmas decorations together. He hopes you can see the things a small part of him doesn’t want you to see, that you can hear what’s left unsaid. He hopes you can understand the inner turmoil and how the lack of family traditions pulled at his heart. He hopes you can understand the battle he went through of thinking about the trouble he was going to get into with his friends while also wishing for a relationship with his parents. He prays you know he wanted more than day drinking on Friday mornings instead of going to class .You hum as you imagine Eunseok sitting in the nook of his window, looking across the cul-de-sac to the Father and son putting up Christmas decorations together.
Eunseok had matured in more ways than he could count since you two started seeing eachother. After he learned about your aversion to alcohol he stopped drinking carelessly, when he found out you were moving to go to college he started getting serious about his life too. You often argued that he was more mature than you, but his biggest setback now was that he would never mention it. He didn’t like to dwell on the past, he didn’t like to look back on the type of person he was as a young adult. Even now, he was only realizing in the moment that the antsy feeling across his body was because he wanted to say something else. He couldn’t find the words, and he looked down to you for help. He still needed you, the same way you needed him. It was a silent agreement between you two, signed and sealed by prolonged eye contact and gentle touches and delivered through words. When he needed the push you were there.
“I want something like that one day. Family traditions are so nice.” You say with a smile.
“Yeah.” Eunseok’s voice tapered off at the end as he snapped his gaze to the window. The blush creeped across his face again and sweat lined his palms as you intertwined his fingers with yours.
Eunseok’s other hand went back to playing with your face, but his touch was a little harder. He tries to distract himself, he almost tries talking himself out of what he’s going to say next by clearing his throat and watching the snowfall. He started uselessly counting the falling specks, losing track over and over again as he tries to stop himself from being vulnerable.

Avoidance of emotion is a terrible habit Eunseok has, one made instinctually through trying to hide his personality his whole life. The worst part was when sentiments were on the tip of his tongue but suddenly his throat would feel dry until he swallowed it back.
“What do you want to say?”
Eunseok was pulled from whatever number at the sound of your voice. He looked down at you already looking up at him. Your smile is so welcoming and your eyes are big and focused on whatever he’s going to say.
When he needed a push you were there.
“I was just gonna say that I can’t wait to have family traditions with you one day.”
Eunseok didn’t realize he was pinching your hand from the nerves until his eyes drifted away from yours. He loosed his grip instantly but you made up for it tenfold, gripping him so hard he could feel the creases on your fingers. Being overwhelmingly vulnerable about his future with you (as if the ring on your finger didn’t bound your lives together for better or for worse, from now till the end of time) made him nervous. Eunseok felt like he had embarrassed himself in some way until you got up from your place on his bed to be eye level with him.
“I can’t wait either.” You agreed.
Everything about you dripped in sincerity. The way your eyes had only gotten wider to show you were serious and your hand reached up to cup his face to let him know you were right there with him. Eunseok was amazed by how you put yourself out there seemingly for his benefit. You so easily repeated back his sentiment without hesitation, even after you had to pull the confession from him. He didn’t know how he got so lucky, how you made him feel so seen when he spent his entire life trying to be invisible. You had the talent of reading his mind, he hoped and prayed that you understood what he was trying to say when his eyes focused on your lips.
“I really want to kiss you right now.” You said.
Eunseok didn’t say anything else when he rested his hand on the back of your neck. Any extent of being vulnerable made Eunseok mentally drained. His endurance when it came to using words was slim to none, but when he failed on that front he knew he could always fall back on his physicality. Eunseok could admit that it was a little pathetic his emotions needed a breather after something as insignificant as hinting at having a family but he was okay with that. As long as he was able to distract you from the fact by kissing you until you couldn’t breathe.
When his thumb ran up and down the small space of your jaw and your hands went to grip his forearms Eunseok knew he had you distracted. He focused on you for a second longer, the backdrop of the snow seemed like you were carved out from a movie. He saw you part your lips and run your tongue over them quickly before you started slowly inching forward. He closed the distance even slower, tilting his head and pulling you in by his hand on the back of your neck.
The quiet sound of your lips making contact filled the space between the two of you. Your hand eventually planted into the mattress to steady yourself while Eunseok’s hands guided you through the motions, trying his best to minimize the sound of movement on his bed.
When you tried getting onto Eunseok’s lap he started using his hands to guide your body onto his bed. You didn’t know what he was planning but you let him do it anyway, maneuvering your body until he could guide your body down. He kissed you all the way down until your head was resting on the pillows, and his hands that touched your face started touching his sheets instead. You closed your eyes into the chaste kisses, pressing your lips gently against Eunseok’s as you searched for his hands. When you felt his wrists you grabbed at them, but Eunseok didn’t weave your fingers together like he usually did. He didn’t deepen the kiss either, only pressing hesitant kisses that got slower and slower. You could feel his anticipation falter with each old creek of the bed.
Finally Eunseok’s hands started clutching at yours, but they were contemplative before you tried deepening the kiss. Before you knew it Eunseok pulled away from you, and you lifted your head in a habit of chasing him.
“I’ve never done this before.” Eunseok said breathily.
You blinked up at him, trying to get the gears in your mind to turn. Instead the only thing you could think about was Eunseok on top of you and the way the glow from the lamp posts dimly lit the side of his face.
“We’ve definitely made out before.” You say back.
Eunseok knew you were using the term making out very loosely. Unsure chaste kisses to lips were nothing compared to what you  two were accustomed to. When Eunseok ran his tongue over his lips he could feel the thin layer of drool coating them. But his lips felt nothing like the swollen warmth he’d usually be left with when you’d break away to catch your breath. The light catching on your lips didn’t resemble the usual sight either. When you two were actually making out Eunseok would always part from your lips leaving them a bitten red mess. Eunseok had a habit of sucking and lightly biting your lips, but he was too distracted to do anything beyond juvenile pecks.
He was amazed to see your eyes were still ogling him like he was teasing you. He felt your leg rub against his as he shook his head.
“I mean I’ve never made out with anyone in my childhood room before.” Eunseok says.
Eunseok doesn’t miss the way your head tilted to the side in genuine confusion at his remark.
“Really?” You asked.
Eunseok’s own head tilted at the genuine shock in your voice. He knew that his reputation preceded him in many ways before you met. Living in such a small town meant that word spread fast, whether it was true or not. When one member of his crew did something, it was assumed the rest of them were doing the same thing. So when word travelled that people in his clique were sneaking girls in and out of their homes late at night, Eunseok should’ve suspected that the common consensus was that they were all fooling around in their childhood rooms.
He could see instantly that you regretted how shocked you sounded. Eunseok saw that you were still frazzled from the kisses, catching you off guard to the extent that you weren’t able to hide your expression. Eunseok saw it as an opportunity to lean close, so close that his nose touched your ear.
“You think I was bringing girls over?” He asks.
Eunseok tilts his head slightly, a smirk on his face when he sees you trying to avoid eye contact. He presses even further, until his lips press against the shell of your ear and your hand grasps at his body as a reflex.
“Sneaking them in and out?” When you nod your head Eunseok tsks playfully and shakes his head. Before you can defend yourself, Eunseok drags his hand along the line of your jaw. His eyes follow his own hand, as if he doesn’t know where it’s going either. When his fingers rest lightly over your neck he feels you swallow underneath him. Eunseok’s eyes drift back up to your face, smiling to himself when you still avoid eye contact. “I thought you thought more of me.” He fake pouts.
Instantly you shake your head, but no words come out. Eunseok knows he shouldn’t be so cruel. He never debunked the rumors of him being a delinquent, to some extent it was true and he was also guilty of feeding into it. Eunseok would’ve never thought that it’d pay off like this in the future. He was able to see the gears helplessly turn in your head as you tried to think of a way to defend yourself. Just when the words were about to come out Eunseok flexed his hand over your neck again, adding the slightest bit of pressure. He watched your back arch off the bed from the sensation, and you whimpered weakly. He felt your pull at his shirt, weak despite your hand gripping his shirt so tightly it caused wrinkles.
Eunseok wonders if you were trying to be in charge tonight. The two of you were always impartial to roles in the bedroom, but on his birthday you always seemed to assert some sort of dominance. Even if it was breathlessly asking Eunseok to do whatever he wants to you, he always noticed that you tried maintaining control to some degree. But now here you were, gripping onto him pathetically and avoiding eye contact while you came closer and closer to him. Eunseok didn’t know if he preferred it this way, but he sure as Hell wasn’t going to complain. He only leaned into it, kissing your cheek before using his other hand to point your face towards his.
“It’s like our first time again.” Eunseok smiled against your skin before leaving wet kisses in the crook of your neck.
You whimpered, your hand travelled up to press into his shoulder blade. Eunseok went back to kissing and laving the warm skin on your neck, shuffling your body underneath his as he got on top of you. When the bed creaked again he noticed it was you who hesitated this time, bending your head towards his so he couldn’t kiss you anymore.
“What if your parents hear us?” You asked.
Eunseok didn’t stop devouring you, kissing your neck and jawline and cheek before repeating the same cycle. His other hand started pulling at you, silently urging you to start pulling at him too. When Eunseok felt you give in an inch, he took another mile. He raised form your neck completely to look down at you, his eyes drifting to all the spots on your neck and face that were glossy from his spit. He ran his finger over the crease of your eyebrow, smirking to himself.
Eunseok looks around his room for a moment before settling on the nook. The thought of having you on top of him right next to the window with the snow falling has him off the bed in seconds pulling at your arms to get you up. Eunseok feels pride swell in his chest at how you follow him immediately and how you’re wobbly on your feet for a second before he pulls you towards the window. You teeter unsure where to go but let your body be lead by him. He is so hasty that he doesn’t know what to do when he has you where he wants you. He notices the lack of space first, he forgot that he has definitely grown since he was a lanky preteen. But seeing your blown out eyes and feeling your hands impatiently grab at his body and sweats fills him with innovation. He scoots back to the window and sits on the nook, letting his feet plant onto the wooden floor. He purposefully manspreads, distracting you more as your eyes flit between his lap and his eyes. Your strap fell down again at some point, but you aren’t focused on it at all. He has to look at the strap before you realize it had fallen down.
“Come here.” He says gently, hands beckoning towards you.
You close the distance immediately. The strap is loose on your skin as Eunseok rubs the material between his fingers. Your hands already go to his shoulders, holding them in anticipation. He loves how easily you get wound up for him. It took him nearly a year to convince himself that you were truly always this ready for him and that you weren’t playing it up for his confidence. When he needed to prove it to himself all he had to do was stick his hand past the waistband of your matching shorts.
Instantly you gasped and he smiled to himself before looking up to you. Now it was your turn for your face to get hot and for Eunseok to be nonchalant. He still innocently played with the strap of your camisole, as if his other hand wasn’t teasing your slit. He played with the slick, purposefully messing with it in a way that caused the most noise.
“You still have to be quiet.” Eunseok said quietly.
You bit your lip and nodded, but you were still so loud. You were squelching between his fingers just from kissing and a little pulling at your skin. Sometimes he wondered if you ever rested, but he also knew he was no better. He was trying to fight the bulge from forming in his sweats since he opened the door and saw you in this set. That was the best part about sex with you—it could’ve easily been him being teased while you sat on the windowsill looking up at him evenly—it just happened to be him first.
So Eunseok exaggerated everything. He shuffled closer to the edge of the nook and briefly stopped playing with your strap to pull you in by your lower back. Instantly you got so close his nose pressed against the silk fabric of your camisole. Eunseok looked up at your head lulling to the side, and he pulled at you again until his chin was pressed against your stomach. He smiled at you losing your balance, how your hand quickly pressed against the glass of his window to stabilize yourself. When your legs pressed against his he wedged his legs between them, spreading them apart until you looked uncomfortable. You still bit your lip and moved your body whichever way he wanted, being so good just for him. He went back to the strap of your camisole, pulling it lower and lower, slowly revealing one side of your chest. He fingers continued making a show of how wet you were. Eunseok knew everything he was doing was so close to what you wanted but at the same time so far away.
“Please.” You dragged out your quiet plea, preening and lowering your hips to try and get his fingers where you needed them to be.
“Aren’t you worried—” He couldn’t even finish his question before you were shaking your head. His dick jumped in his sweats and he started pressing a little harder, right next to where your cunt was clenching around nothing. “Aren’t you worried my parents will wake up?” He asked.
“Don’t care.” You rushed the words out, but still spoke in a whisper. “I Don’t care.” You repeated.
To show that you were serious, Eunseok watched you quickly pull away from him to reach at the bottom of your camisole. In seconds it was off your body completely, thrown somewhere random in the room. Eunseok watch your hand greedily go up to your own chest and he started kissing at the skin of your stomach. He pressed his teeth to your skin the same time he pushed his index finger inside of you. He looked up to catch your expression, a wet mark left in the wake of his lips as you started teasing your nipple roughly. Your legs were already starting to get shaky, Eunseok watched you lean on him more and more for stability as he added in another finger. He was having too much fun messing with you. It wasn’t enough that he was ruining you in some convoluted way by finger fucking you in his childhood room right in front of the window, but he took the extra step to tease you by retracting his finger so it was only one again. Watching you pout was too satisfying, seeing your hands grab at your body to make up for loss of contact made his dick strain in his pants.
“Am I being mean?” He asked.
Eunseok made sure to be as sarcastic as possible, he even smirked up at you after he was done speaking. The smirk turned to a full blown smile when you nodded with your whole body, hands still groping your chest as you tried making sense of everything. The frosted glass was cold against his skin but he warmed it, and your hand left a foggy imprint in its wake.
“Want me to stop teasing you?” He continued.
You nodded again, adding a pathetic whine while doing it. You made it entirely too easy for Eunseok to be an asshole. He wanted to know why you seemed to like it so much too. Each time he pushed his finger into your heat you squeezed him tight, desperately looking for more. He felt your heartbeat, he felt you gushing around him. Your reactions made him want to be a delinquent again, the type that gave you so much it made you make noise. But he decided now wasn’t the time, and here wasn’t the place. He had plenty of chances to be mean to you in the future. So he was going to bask in the teasing and the fact that you had to be quiet even though making noise in bed seemed to be your favorite thing.
Eunseok added his finger back. Then he added another one. Then he reached his hand from your lower back to grab the other side of your chest that you were neglecting.
“Love seeing you fall apart.” He murmured against the skin of your stomach.
Eunseok felt his stomach lurch forward when your hand fisted his hair. You didn’t pull on the strands to assert dominance, you were using him as a human stress ball as consolation for not being able to make any noise. When he quickened his fingers your eyes screwed shut and you pulled even tighter. Eunseok had to swallow a groan as he tilted his head into your grip, trying to alleviate some of the force. He watched you slouch and felt your legs tremble against his. You were fluttering around his three fingers, and labored breaths were tumbling through your bitten lips.
“Close?”
You nodded your head immediately. Eunseok watched you rotate your hips slightly. He broke from the dominant haze for a moment at the look of discomfort that flashed across your face. He bent his hand that was inside of you, and when he knew he was getting it right your hand tightened in his hair again. He kissed and sucked on the skin of your waist, pressing his tongue flat before looking up to you again.
This time your eyes were open, wide and glassy. You also freed your bottom lip from your teeth, Eunseok swore he could see the indents in the orange glow of the lamp posts. You looked like peace despite you in the middle of falling apart. Even though you were directly causing pain to his scalp Eunseok felt something so tender and raw in your rough hold. He was here with you and you were right there, trying so hard to be with him.
“I’ll be better for you.” Eunseok murmured.
Eunseok watched you nod quickly, your pout deepening. The cogs were turning in your mind, trying to keep up with the words falling from his lips and the rough pace of his hands. You were getting pulled back and forth by him. He was sure his promise came as an echo to you, bouncing off the walls of your hazy, lust-filled mind. Then suddenly, Eunseok saw you come back to Earth. Your hand was placed delicately on his cheek, stroking the skin with your thumb. He had to blink away the bracket of tears threatening his water line to keep his eyes on you.
“You already are.” You said.
Eunseok let out a sigh and leaned his head against your stomach. Your were like a warm pillow, jumping with each sharp inhale and exhale of breath. His eyes were focused on the wall as he went to your clit, rubbing the bundle of nerves with his wet fingers.
“I need you to fuck me though.” You said. Eunseok swore the snow stopped and his desktop stopped whirring in that moment. He looked up to you and your hand squeezed his cheek, forcing his lips to pucker. “Please.” You added, as articulate as possible.
After wrapping such a tempting proposition in a pretty bow, Eunseok couldn’t control himself for the second time that night. He got up from his stoop and pulled at your waistband. Your hands started pulling at his shirt and sweats at the same time, trying to quickly undress him as he smashed his lips against yours. Eunseok couldn’t be pulled away from you, he pushed you further and further back towards the edge of his bed as your hands started reaching for any part of him.
You almost tripped when he pushed your shorts down to your thighs, and you actually fell when the back of your legs hit the back of the bed. Your body caused the springs to creak when you fell, but Eunseok didn’t clench his teeth or try to silence it. He seemed to be striving for it. He made your body squirm on the mattress when he took off your shorts, and made them sound off again when he flipped you over onto your stomach. When you tried to crawl further onto the bed he stopped you by a hand clasped over your shoulder. He knew you were confused, he was confused himself. The only thing that was in Eunseok’s mind was the sincerity in your voice when you told him so nicely that he needed to fuck you. Your voice made his hands pull off his clothes quickly, it made him not waste time getting on the bed to mount you. He only stood next to the bed while you were laying on your hands and knees in front of him, looking back as you settled into your position.
He at the very least took time adjusting your legs on the bed and pressing a hand to your lower back to deepen your arch. He also asked you if you were ready, to which you very impatiently gave the affirmative.
Eunseok wasted no time working up to a fast pace. The moment he felt your walls let him in he was pulling back and smacking his hips against yours. It knocked the wind out of you first, them it made his bed scream, but he didn’t stop. In his mind he was able to rationalize a quick burst of noise rather than prolonging it, even if he wished for the former. You let tiny whimpers and moans slip out underneath the pressure of the mattress. He looked down at you taking him in, each time he pulled out his dick was covered with another layer of your slick. His hand left your lower back for a second to point at your left hand balled up in the sheets.
“Gimme your hand.” He said.
Instantly you started flailing your hand behind you, too focused on not crying out to actually give it to Eunseok. He grabbed your wrist that fit so perfectly in his hand and pinned it to the same spot on your lower back. He focused on hitting that spot deep inside of you, and before he knew it one of his feet was propped up on the bed beside your body. You were really weak now, losing your form as your hand tried turning to grab his wrist. Eunseok pressed deeper, driven still by your order of fucking you. He leaned close, so close that your body was flat against the sheets and one of your legs slipped off the bed completely. He accommodated you immediately, and the screaming creaks of his bedsprings turned into quick steady croaks.
“You like that?” Eunseok’s other hand went to the back of your neck and he felt your walls clench around him. He moved his hand a little higher on your back, moving your pinned wrist to a slightly uncomfortable position. It seemed like that’s what you craved the most, because the tone of your sounds became whiny and weak. “You’re so quiet I can’t tell.” He teased.
Eunseok patted himself on the back at the sound of your incoherent babbles. The only word he could make out was close.
“I love you too.” Eunseok squeezed his hand on the back of your neck and watched you attempt to get an arch back. He threaded in a love confession to your babbles on his own accord, knowing that was something you tended to say when you were almost there. “Cum for me, baby.”
Your other leg slid off the bed when you came. Eunseok had to move his hand from the back of your neck to clasp over your mouth preemptively to get ahead of the shaking moans that ripped past your parted lips. They were muffled and warm against the palm of his hand, and he muffled his own grunts on the clammy skin of your back. You felt the warmth inside of you and heard three more heavy creaks of the bed until Eunseok stopped moving on the final one. He stayed inside of you, his body pressed flush against yours as both of your hands pressed laid on top of the mattress. Eunseok intertwined his fingers with yours as you both caught your breath. Your wind came back to you through wheezes while Eunseok did deep inhales. You were still babbling about something, which Eunseok silenced with kisses to your tear stained cheek and the corner of your lips.
Your feet helplessly dangled over the edge of the bed, impossible to get your footing or placement on the ground. Eunseok’s warm body crushing you almost lulled you to sleep, but then the thought of his parents catching you like this in the morning made you fully alert. You bent your leg to kick the back of Eunseok’s thigh, pulling him out of his own trance. He was too busy thinking about those family traditions before sighing, pushing his dick deeper into you one last time before pulling out completely. You still seized around him like your body wanted him but he continued to pull out. He looked down at your cunt briefly, seeing if you had pushed any of him out. But it looks like you took every last drop, and he bit his lip to hold back a smile until you stayed moving.
When the bed creaked underneath you he hissed and his hands went to your body to try and still you. Eunseok watched you look back at him with actual confusion, head tilted to the side.
“Don’t you think it’s a little too late for that?” You grumbled, making the point to make extra noise while you clambered off the bed.

"Yuu-shi, where are we going!?"
"Somewhere, anywhere! Does it really matter?"
a slow sunday and the lack of immediate tasks in your schedule was all you needed. and what better way to spend the day with your beloved than taking him out for a ride?
deuce was kind enough to lend you his blastcycle for this little trip of yours, wishing you good luck and all, and you've already gotten permission to go out from the headmage the day before, as much as you hated his gut. meanwhile, ortho was doing his best to get idia waiting outside of campus, and making sure he didn't second guess his desicions before you arrive.
and that led us to where you were now, going kilometres per hour as if gliding through the highway, feeling the cool wind of a chilly afternoon excitedly picking up your hair as the sun retreated behind the mountains. you loved the thrill it gave you, if the bright wide grin on your face was of any indications.
idia, on the other hand, was a bit overwhelmed. with his arms coiled tightly around your waist, hands trembling ever so slightly, he hid his face in your hair, not daring even a peek at the blurring surroundings.
"It's not a ride if you can't see what made it so fun in the first place, Idia! Just give it a try, then we can go back if you want."
idia stayed quiet, weighing his options. he could ask you to go back and return to the monotony of his life, safe yet nothing special. or, he could continue on this ride, just you and him on the road to an ambiguous destination.
he opened his eyes, widening as they laid on the most beautiful painting of dusk mother nature had drawn. white, pink, and orange blended together so harmoniously on a darkening blue canvas. rows of clouds lined the sky, bouncing around the little lights left of the sun onto the crashing waves the sea created.
his breath was taken away.
"Quite a sight, isn't it?"
idia could only muttered a soft 'yeah' as his eyes glued at picturesque scenery, taking in all he could for he wasn't sure he was going to see such a sight again. his tight grip on you slowly loosened, now only wrapping around your waist like a warm hug you would give him on chilly days.
the moon soon made its appearance as the canvas of nature was painted black, stars glimmering from beyond like diamonds in the sky. the two of you was making your way back to campus, with the blastcycle's headlights and idia's hair illuminating the road.
idia found the night sky was beautiful, a lot different from dusk, but he loved it all the same.
it was a fleeting sensation of a thrill so different than what his heart was used to, but it was welcoming, a comfort even. especially when you were there with him, laughing without a care and genuinely living in the moment.
it was a memory he wished to never forget.

A Night in Venice
Pairing! Drew Starkey x reader
Words count: 3032
Masterlist | Outer Banks Masterlist
Tumblr media
The gentle lapping of the waves against the wooden stilts of the Venetian docks created a rhythmic melody that floated through the air, mingling with the distant sounds of laughter and conversation from nearby cafés. The golden hour had painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, reflecting off the canals and the city’s intricate architecture. Venice was always enchanting, but tonight, it felt like magic was in the air. Drew Starkey stood at the edge of the dock, dressed in a sleek blue tuxedo that hugged his frame perfectly, a calm smile playing on his lips. His blue eyes sparkled as he looked out at the horizon, but his thoughts were far from the city’s beauty or even the prestigious Venice Film Festival, where his new movie Queer had just premiered to a standing ovation. Instead, they were on Y/N, who was a few steps behind, adjusting the strap of her dress.
Y/N had been there through it all. The late nights running lines, the exhaustion, the anxiety, and the triumphs. Drew had always been grateful for her, but tonight, seeing her standing there in the soft light, wearing a flowing gown that accentuated her every curve, he felt his heart swell with even more love.
"Do you ever get tired of looking so beautiful?" Drew teased, turning towards her with a grin that melted into a more sincere expression. He held out his hand, and Y/N took it, stepping closer to him.
"If I do, I’ll let you know," Y/N replied, a playful twinkle in her eyes. She squeezed his hand, her touch warm and familiar. "But right now, I’m more interested in getting lost in this city with you."
Drew chuckled, his thumb gently stroking the back of her hand. "We’ll have plenty of time for that. The night’s still young. But first, there’s something I want to do."
Y/N raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? And what might that be?"
Drew leaned in, his breath warm against her ear as he whispered, "You’ll see."
With that, he led her down the narrow streets, their footsteps echoing softly on the cobblestones. The festival had brought a buzz to Venice, but Drew knew exactly where to go to avoid the crowds. They wandered through the labyrinth of alleyways, passing under bridges and beside quiet canals. The city had a way of making you feel like you were the only two people in the world, and in that moment, Drew couldn’t have been happier.
Finally, they arrived at a small, secluded square with a single bench overlooking the water. The only sounds were the gentle ripples in the canal and the distant murmur of the festival in the background. Drew guided Y/N to the bench and sat down beside her, the soft fabric of their clothes brushing against each other.
"Drew, this is beautiful," Y/N said softly, her eyes wide as she took in the serene scene.
"I thought you might like it," Drew replied, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her closer. "But there’s more."
Y/N looked up at him, curiosity and affection shining in her gaze. "What do you mean?"
Drew reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a small, velvet box. Y/N’s breath caught in her throat as she realized what it was. She turned to him, her eyes searching his, but before she could say anything, Drew opened the box to reveal a delicate ring, the diamond catching the light from the setting sun.
"Y/N," Drew began, his voice low and filled with emotion, "I’ve been trying to find the right words all night, but nothing seems enough. You’ve been with me through everything—my ups, my downs, my fears, and my dreams. You’re my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the love of my life. And I can’t imagine spending another day without you by my side as my wife."
Y/N’s eyes welled up with tears, and she covered her mouth with her hand, overwhelmed with emotion. "Drew…"
Drew’s heart pounded in his chest as he continued, "So, here in Venice, a place as timeless and beautiful as you, I’m asking you… Will you marry me?"
For a moment, the world seemed to stand still. The air was thick with anticipation, the only sound the distant hum of the city and the soft rustle of the wind through the trees. Then, with a tearful laugh, Y/N threw her arms around Drew, pulling him into a tight embrace.
"Yes," she whispered, her voice breaking with emotion. "Yes, Drew, I’ll marry you."
Drew felt a wave of relief and pure joy wash over him as he hugged her back, his eyes closing as he breathed in the moment. When they finally pulled apart, he slipped the ring onto her finger, the perfect fit symbolizing how perfect they were for each other.
They sat there for a while, wrapped up in each other and the beauty of the city around them. Venice had always been known for its romance, and now, it held an even more special place in their hearts.
After a while, Drew broke the silence with a soft chuckle. "You know, when I signed on to do Queer, I thought the most nerve-wracking part would be the premiere. But proposing to you? That was a whole new level."
Y/N laughed, resting her head on his shoulder. "I had no idea you were planning this. You kept it a secret so well."
"I wanted it to be perfect," Drew said, kissing the top of her head. "And seeing the look on your face when I asked… It was worth every bit of the stress."
They both laughed softly, the sound echoing in the stillness of the night. The tension had finally melted away, leaving behind a warm, content feeling.
As the evening continued, they wandered back towards the heart of the city, hand in hand, the ring on Y/N’s finger glinting under the streetlights. They passed other couples, tourists, and locals, all oblivious to the magical moment Drew and Y/N had just shared.
Eventually, they found themselves near the famous Rialto Bridge, where the festival’s afterparty was in full swing. The energy of the crowd was contagious, and Drew couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement as they joined the festivities. But despite the glamour and the flashing lights, all Drew could think about was the woman by his side.
They danced together, swaying to the music with the lights of Venice twinkling around them. Drew’s hands were firm on Y/N’s waist, guiding her gently as they moved in perfect sync. It was as if the rest of the world had faded away, leaving just the two of them in their own private bubble.
"You’re a pretty good dancer," Y/N teased, her voice barely audible over the music.
Drew grinned, dipping her slightly before pulling her back up. "You make it easy."
As they danced, Drew couldn’t help but think about how far they had come. From their first meeting on the set of Outer Banks, to the quiet moments they shared away from the spotlight, to now, standing in the heart of Venice, celebrating not just his career, but the love they had built together. It felt like a dream, but the warmth of Y/N in his arms grounded him in the reality of it all.
As the night wore on, they eventually found themselves sitting on the edge of the canal, their feet dangling over the water. The afterparty had died down, leaving the city quiet and serene once more.
"Drew," Y/N began, her voice soft as she gazed out at the water. "I’ve been thinking… about us, and about everything we’ve been through."
Drew turned to her, his heart skipping a beat. "What is it?"
Y/N looked at him, her eyes reflecting the moonlight. "I know we’ve talked about it before, but now, with the ring and everything, it feels even more real. I want to be with you, Drew. I want to build a life with you, wherever that takes us."
Drew felt a lump form in his throat as he listened to her. "I want that too, Y/N. More than anything."
"But what about the distance?" Y/N continued, her voice wavering slightly. "Your career is taking off, and there’s going to be so much travel, so many commitments… I don’t want us to lose what we have."
Drew took a deep breath, understanding the weight of her words. "Y/N, I’ve thought about that too. And honestly, I’m not going to lie and say it won’t be hard. But I believe we can make it work. We’ve always found a way to be there for each other, no matter what. And now, with this ring, it’s a promise. A promise that I’ll always come back to you, no matter where I go."
Y/N looked into his eyes, searching for any hint of doubt. But all she saw was sincerity and love. "Do you really believe that?"
"I do," Drew said firmly, his hand finding hers and squeezing it gently. "And I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make sure we don’t lose what we have. I love you, Y/N. I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
Y/N’s eyes filled with tears again, but this time they were tears of relief and happiness. "I love you too, Drew. So much."
They sat there in silence for a moment, the only sound the gentle lapping of the water against the canal walls. The weight of their conversation hung in the air, but it was a good weight—a reassuring one.
Eventually, Y/N leaned her head on Drew’s shoulder, feeling the warmth of his body next to hers. They stayed like that for a while, soaking in the quietness of the night, the only witnesses to their love being the ancient buildings of Venice and the stars above.
"Do you remember when we first met?" Y/N asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Drew chuckled softly, the memory clear in his mind. "Of course I do. You were the new production assistant on set, and I think I was more nervous to meet you than I was for my first scene that day."
Y/N smiled, recalling the way Drew had stumbled over his words when he first introduced himself. "You were so serious, but I could see the kindness in your eyes. I knew from that moment that you were different."
Drew tilted his head to rest against hers, his voice soft as he spoke. "And I knew, from the moment you smiled at me, that I wanted to get to know you. I didn’t know then that we’d end up here, but I’m so glad we did."
Y/N looked up at him, her heart swelling with affection. "Me too, Drew. Every step of the way has been worth it, even the hard parts."
They fell into a comfortable silence again, the kind that only comes when two people know each other deeply. Drew’s fingers traced lazy patterns on Y/N’s hand as they sat there, both of them content just to be together.
"Can I tell you something?" Drew asked after a while, his voice hesitant.
"Of course," Y/N replied, lifting her head to look at him.
Drew took a deep breath, his expression turning serious. "I was so nervous before the premiere tonight. Not just because of the film, but because I knew I was going to propose. I kept thinking about all the things that could go wrong, how I might mess it up…"
Y/N smiled, reaching up to gently stroke his cheek. "But you didn’t mess it up, Drew. It was perfect. You were perfect."
Drew’s eyes softened as he looked at her, his heart swelling with love. "You make me feel like I can do anything, Y/N. Even when I’m doubting myself, you’re there to remind me that I’m enough. And I want you to know that I’ll always do the same for you."
Y/N’s eyes welled up with tears again, but she blinked them back, not wanting to cry anymore tonight. "I know you will, Drew. That’s why I said yes."
Drew smiled, leaning in to press a soft kiss to her lips. It was a gentle, tender kiss, full of the love and promises they had just made to each other. When they pulled back, Drew rested his forehead against hers, closing his eyes as he breathed in her familiar scent.
"I love you so much, Y/N," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
"I love you too, Drew," Y/N replied, her voice equally soft. "And I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
They stayed like that for a long time, just holding each other and savoring the moment. The world around them faded away, leaving only the two of them and the love they shared.
Eventually, the cool night air began to settle in, and Y/N shivered slightly. Drew noticed and immediately shrugged off his jacket, draping it over her shoulders.
"Thank you," Y/N murmured, snuggling into the warmth of his jacket.
Drew smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Anything for you."
They got up and slowly made their way back to their hotel, the city of Venice quiet and peaceful around them. When they reached their room, Drew held the door open for Y/N, and she walked in, turning to watch as he closed the door behind them.
As soon as the door clicked shut, Drew pulled Y/N into his arms, holding her close. "I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of holding you," he murmured into her hair.
Y/N smiled, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Good, because I’m not planning on letting you go."
They stood there in the middle of the room, holding each other as the reality of the night finally settled in. They were engaged. They were going to spend the rest of their lives together.
"I’m the luckiest man in the world," Drew whispered, his voice filled with awe.
Y/N pulled back slightly to look at him, her eyes shining with love. "And I’m the luckiest woman."
Drew leaned down to kiss her again, this time with more passion, more urgency. The kiss deepened quickly, and before they knew it, they were tangled up in each other, their bodies pressed together as they stumbled toward the bed.
Drew’s hands roamed over Y/N’s body, memorizing every curve, every inch of her. Y/N’s fingers threaded through his hair, pulling him closer as she kissed him back with just as much fervor.
When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathing heavily, their foreheads pressed together as they tried to catch their breath.
"I love you," Drew said again, his voice filled with so much emotion it made Y/N’s heart skip a beat.
"I love you too," Y/N replied, her voice just as breathless.
They spent the rest of the night wrapped up in each other, whispering sweet nothings and making promises for the future. They talked about their wedding, their dreams, and the life they were going to build together. And when they finally fell asleep, it was with their arms around each other, their hearts full of love and contentment.
The next morning, the sun streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room. Drew woke up first, his eyes slowly opening to find Y/N still asleep beside him. She looked so peaceful, her hair splayed out on the pillow, her lips slightly parted.
Drew smiled, his heart swelling with love as he watched her. He reached out to gently brush a strand of hair away from her face, his fingers lingering on her cheek.
Y/N stirred slightly at his touch, her eyes fluttering open. When she saw Drew watching her, she smiled sleepily, her heart skipping a beat at the look of pure adoration in his eyes.
"Good morning," she whispered, her voice still heavy with sleep.
"Good morning, beautiful," Drew replied, leaning down to press a soft kiss to her lips.
They stayed in bed for a while, just enjoying each other’s presence and the quiet of the morning. Eventually, they got up and got ready for the day, but the magic of the night before still lingered in the air.
As they walked hand in hand through the streets of Venice, Drew couldn’t help but feel like he was walking on air. Everything felt perfect, from the way the sun warmed his skin to the way Y/N’s hand fit perfectly in his.
They spent the day exploring the city, visiting the famous landmarks and indulging in the local cuisine. But no matter where they went or what they did, Drew’s mind kept drifting back to the fact that Y/N was now his fiancée. The thought filled him with a sense of joy and excitement that he had never felt before.
At one point, they found themselves back at the square where Drew had proposed the night before. They sat down on the same bench, the memory of the proposal still fresh in their minds.
"Last night feels like a dream," Y/N said softly, her eyes reflecting the soft light of the afternoon.
Drew smiled, reaching out to take her hand. "A beautiful dream."
Y/N turned to look at him, her expression serious. "Do you think this will last? This feeling?"
Drew’s smile softened as he looked into her eyes. "I think it will, as long as we keep choosing each other every day. Love isn’t just a feeling, it’s a choice. And I’m choosing you, Y/N. Every day, for the rest of my life."
Y/N’s heart swelled with emotion, and she squeezed his hand tightly. "I’m choosing you too, Drew. Always."
They sat there for a while longer, just enjoying the moment and the quiet understanding that had settled between them. They didn’t need to say anything more; their love spoke for itself.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, Drew and Y/N made their way back to their hotel, their hearts full of love and contentment. They knew that their journey together was just beginning, and that there would be challenges ahead. But they also knew that as long as they had each other, they could face anything that came their way.
That night, as they lay in bed, their bodies intertwined and their hearts beating in sync, Drew whispered into the darkness, "I can’t wait to marry you."
Y/N smiled, her eyes closed as she drifted off to sleep. "I can’t wait either."
And with that, they both fell asleep, knowing that they had found something truly special in each other. Something that would last a lifetime.
