the vague idea is that leon is under the impression that luis is a snake oil salesman. which isn’t an entirely wrong impression to have, but luis’s reasons, as ever, are a little more complicated. you get into debt with some bad people and they ask you to spread some weird tonics around and then bad things happen and you run away and start a new life somewhere, okay? and then maybe somewhere ends up under the influence of a cult! time is a circle. it’s fine. it’s whatever.

Hello friends, I barely know how to use this app but I know the magnus archives fans are here!!! Not sure how many people here are tma fans and also Aurora fans but I am being driven insane, absolutely berserk. Aurora just released an album and on it are two awesome songs, one called The blade and the other called My body is not mine. These songs have SUCH tma energy and I NEED someone else to know this and validate it. The blade to me is late TMA (like when everything goes to shit) and my body is not mine reminds me so much of Daisy!!!! So much!!! Honestly The blade also reminds me a lot of daisy, especially the ending. I have been artblocked for an ungodly amount of time but someone needs to make an Amv to these PLEASE

There truly isn't a universal answer to what a man and woman "is" and that's where the whole "well, tell me what a man is if you say you are one" spiel falls apart for me. In trying to answer it, you fail to see that gender is not something to be understood empirically - it isnt something you can analyze like you might a hard scientific phenomenon, but gender something that is a tool. Gender is (one) of the languages we use to communicate to others, so like language, there is nuance.

My version of manhood* is one which differs from another man's. We use similar language to describe our malehood, perhaps, but much like language, we will have different dialects which we use. If I were to try to answer what a man "is," I will be informed by my own manhood* and the manhood my culture deems desirable. This is inherently exclusionary because it relies on myself and my culture to be the only "right" ones. I refuse to play this social game because it relies on this exclusionary mindset. Gender is what we humans make of it, and there simply cannot be an "answer" to the question as to what men and women "are." It varies culture to culture, by religion, by race, by a history of colonialism, even, and all of this is ignored, downplayed, and erased, essentially, when one acts like there is a universally-applicable answer to what a gender "is".

I’d like to headcanon that some of the squad have shared playlists , and one giant one for them all . They check out each others Spotify or Amazon or YouTube idk what they use anyway they check it out and if it pairs similar to their own , they join together and create one to play when they are chilling or showing to the others . The BIG one is them all together , meaning lots and lots and lots of bickering over what song gets put in and what doesn’t . Usually , it’s just Aiden complaining about the songs he can’t add ( VERY mixed style , some songs are a little too goofy . But don’t worry , he’ll add them on when no one’s looking )

like!! this is javier realizing he can't stop lloyd from taking risks he believes he shouldn't be taking, it's him understanding that lloyd is taking on a responsibility far bigger than javier had expected him to and it's him coming to terms with the fact that no matter what he does he won't be able to keep lloyd completely out of harm's way.

and it's also him saying "fine, do whatever you want, but i'll be right at your side to protect you whether you want it or not"

it's him saying "do as you wish, just keep me with you so i can protect you while you do it"
