Kyōjurō finds himself relieved that the welcoming ceremony ends as quickly as it does. I believe he would definitely be a man of tradition, so under normal circumstances, his patience would be quite high. He only wants another opportunity to speak with you, so he'll politely wait at the side, trying not to look too eager, and waiting for you to finish introductions with the other eight Hashira.

Shinobu, who'd immediately noticed Kyōjurō's eyes following after you, only laughs to herself, as when you are encouraged by Mitsuri to meet Obanai, Giyū, and a grumpy Sanemi, his expression falters.

"My, my," she ends up saying to him, "so quickly?"

Kyōjurō would one-hundred percent be the kind of man to fall quick and hard in love. He's a great judge of character already, so wouldn't be any difference to him whether or not he thought you were a great comrade versus a great partner. But isn't it a surprise that Kyōjurō never actually considered the partner bit as a possibility? He just wanted to make sure you were comfortable.

More teasing from Shinobu ensues when he admits this.

Ever the extrovert, Kyōjurō really would be the best at making a person comfortable in a new environment. He asks you many questions about your life, like a puppy's curiosity -- if you have any family; what your favourite food on the menu before you is; your favourite colour; and, if you'd care to display to him your Breathing Technique as a means of camaraderie. That last one had taken you off-guard slightly, but you're happy to oblige.

A relationship with Kyōjurō Rengoku would definitely start off with the two of you being the best of friends. His warmth and endearing nature would be impossible to try and ignore, especially if loud and proud isn't your cup of tea -- oh, you'd just have to make it work, or else you'd leave him heartbroken. Let's assume this takes place during the sports festival and you're in class 1-A bc yes

When all of those students crowd around the classroom door of 1-A Shinsou sees you, just vibing and probably just spacing out

And he's a bit confused as to why you were just spacing out so he's most likely gonna stare at you for a good couple of seconds

But as soon as you notice that he's staring at you you bet your ass he's looking away

And honestly, you think it's super cute

So you walk over to him, as one does in this situation

 “Hey! Hi! Hello! My name is Y/N L/N!! What’s your name, Mr. Purple Man??” You ask excitedly, finding him to be pretty cute. He lets out the tiniest chuckle before shaking his head and looking down at you. “Hitoshi Shinsou,” He says in a quiet voice, causing you to grin widely. “That’s a great name, Shinsou!! Let’s be friends! You seem super cool!”

 His eyes widen, not expecting you wanting to be his friend. “What do you want, shorty?” He asks, honestly thinking that you had some ulterior motives. This caused you to giggle and shake your head, the cutest and sweetest smile upon your face. “Nothing! I just wanna be friends, silly!”  

And thus marks the beginning of a new friendship

But after a few months of being friends he came to a sudden realization

And after getting some advice from Denki he took you to his favorite cat cafe and asked you out there

But uh after a while of dating he wanted to really pamper you and give you the cutest promise ring along with a few other gifts for your guys’ anniversary

So one day, he took you out to his favorite field. It was a calm, peaceful, and sunny field filled with trees and flowers. It’s really the cutest place ever and the best place to take a nap

So once you two got there you saw a blue and white checkered blanket, a cute picnic basket filled with sandwiches and desserts, and a cute pitcher filled with pink lemonade 

Flabbergasted by the scenery, you didn’t realized him gently pulling down into his lap until you landed with a soft oof 

As he fed you some sweets you pull out a small whistle and snuggle into his chest as you two lay down before gently blowing the whistle, seemingly no sound coming out of it

He tilts his head, ready to say something before seeing a giant ass cat running towards you two with like three kittens on its back

“Babe? What’s this all about?” He asks you, a smile on his face as the kittens snuggle in the crevices of his neck and right in the very tiny gap in between the two of you, the large cat laying next to you guys and snuggling up to you guys

“It’s a present, my love!”  You beam, a content smile on your face as you watch him love on the cats

And boom, the comfiest nap ever happened after more lovey dovey things

since it’s been like over 2 weeks here’s an updated version!

Hyunsuk - too be honest if i were to ever meet him, and if it was ever emotional i’d be kinda afraid to just in case he’d cry. his laugh is an instant boost of serotonin. i love his rapping. he honestly makes me emotional and i’m so proud of his character, his achievements and the way he’s so involved with music and the world around him.

Jihoon - sigh. has my heart and soul. i’m whipped for him. everyone knows it too. they just need to look at my posts and then they’re sorted. the amount of times a particular person has caught me being sappy and mushy over him is ridiculous. i want him to get ink on his arm. i caught myself checking out his thighs and calves today. i feel like a animal stalking its prey. he’s so mean but i love it?!

Yoshi - i find myself watching a lot of his compilations lately. i’m also trying to find a particular video where he’s getting his photo taken and (i just remember jeongwoo and junghwan being there) and they’re all like marvelling about how photogenic yoshinori is. which he is. he made me cry the other day with the letters from mum and i watched the reaction cam for ep 6.

Junkyu - juyoung, the younger brother in true beauty actually reminded me of junkyu in episode 13 (my flattie is watching the series) there’s quite a bit of words that he says that i really enjoy hearing him say? - i love the way he said cockroach in hello82 drawing game, some english words cause he actually pronounces them really well but with like a deepish accent?, love seeing and hearing him laugh.

Mashiho - again, he’s so good at everything. and he’s quiet about it as well. everytime he’s in shot he’s always just looking at someone fondly but never taking too much room or whatever. but when he gets in the zone and he just belts something out or laughs really loudly it’s always impactful in some way like whenever he does that my heart just grows for him.

Jaehyuk - he’s super affectionate and sweet. naww. like the way he acts with teumes and everything naww. like he leaves his traces for his fans to find and i think that’s so sweet. and he’s got a bit of a mean streak too i notice haha. he’s still super funny but also very supportive and tends to take care of the people who may be under the weather or not quite feeling the best which is a sort of person that everyone should appreciate.

Doyoung - the way he can just let go of himself to deliver some of his lines. him basically cry laughing at the secret santa type of video that treasure did is so cute. doyoung deserves every little cuddle and affection. he also kind of just readily accepts others and their strange quirks, and he’s got a sort of personality i’ve never really seen before and i think he’s super interesting.

Yedam - still really fucking talented. i also saw that he does tend to get emotional here and there but he’s honestly the cutest. THE SMILE AND THE LAUGH. There’s one particular video where I just can’t help but coo at him. But a truly beautiful person, I’m serious. I listened to Wayo to bed and I was in that state where I was awake but not really awake. Like I felt like I was meditating and it’s such a relaxing song. I love his voice.

Asahi - I’m so excited to talk about him you have no idea. I’m going through an Asahi spurt so~ But like he actually smiles quite a lot and he laughs a lot and it feels truly rewarding when he does. Like last time I talked about how he kind of intimidated me at the start but now he really doesn’t and I truly think he’s one of the members that instantly calms me down when I see him. Like, I want to have a proper conversation with him because idk I just get the vibe he’s definitely someone you should have a meaningful conversation with if you have the opportunity.

Jeongwoo - He’s not as loud as i thought he would be. I am in love with his voice. I watched a couple fansign videos just because and he does not know how to take compliments aye he gets like all embarrassed and all it’s so cute. I was also watching a TMI (??? I think) where it was like the boyfriend simulation and he didn’t know how to act. I find it so funny that he can be shameless at one point and another he’s all like embarrassed and bashful. It’s so cute. ‘I’m just an ugly citizen’ he says WHAT A JOKE. Him during that web drama though - he suits the character for sure.

Haruto - I find him harder to write this for, I don’t know why he was one of the easier ones to write for last time but I’m really struggling this time. But in general I love how he just exists. I know how it looks like a cop out but I promise you it’s not. His eyes and his hair first of all are so glittery and pretty and man I love his eyes so much. I also find it funny how most of the time he looks like he wants to go home but he always does things in the end and he’s not afraid to say anything. He kind of just adapts to the people around him which I find really cool. Like he’s not just a one dimensional character and it shows. (That was terrible, I’m sorry Haruto) 

Junghwan - That ‘different’ line in Boy. It’s so easy to distinguish it as Junghwan’s voice and idk it makes me really fond of him when I can hear him without seeing him. Like I’ll be on the bus or plane and hear him sing that line and like instant dopamine and serotonin. I want to say the exact same thing I said last time but he’s truly the sweetest and I want to see him smile in real life. I truly regard him as a little angel. His laugh too <3 it’s so dorky but I love him. I’m just too fond of this boy.  

Treasure - In general. I’ve been excited to write this segment all day and yet I’ve got nothing at the moment. I binge watched Treasure Map and no wonder I see a lot of people watching it. It’s so entertaining and every episode is quite different or like the same but with a little added extra. I’m so happy I stan Treasure now though, like truly happy. They’ve made me laugh and cry a lot already and it’s been a total of 2-3 weeks. But they’re all so lovely and I’m starting to really love them all.

You have a dark sense of humour and so does Arthur, so this is perfect for his ego. His comedy is a sore spot, it always has been, because no one supports this precious boi in anything he does and it’s really fucking sad. When he cracks a really dry, deadpan and dark joke and you burst out laughing, love just blooms in his chest and he falls in love with you a little more. How are you real? He’s convinced you’re a delusion he’s concocted sometimes, but he dares not question it. Anything is better than the truth. Anything.

You study philosophy, so your intellect is definitely above Arthur’s. His handwriting is really bad (in the cutest way? He’s not at all stupid, he’s very clever, and I think sometimes he’d ask you a question late at night about the thing you’re studying just so he can go to sleep to the sound of your voice. With his weary head cushioned on your chest, your heartbeat in his ear, your voice and your hands in his hair, he’d be asleep in no time.

I feel like Arthur would really love the fact that you’re shy because that means it’s easier for him to assume the protective role? So, like, he’d find your shyness frankly adorable and if you ever got shy over him then it just becomes a circle of shyness before Arthur bursts out into uncontrollable laughter and you have to comfort him through a fit. Just squeeze his hand, patiently wait it out, and reap the rewards when he can breathe again and his lips are on yours as a thank you.

You love to dance and this… Oh, this is a quintessential part of your whole relationship. When it’s late at night and Arthur is listening to music on the radio, he’d approach you, his body already swaying to the beat, and his hands would find your hips and he’d dance with you, doing that really fucking attractive shoulder thing he does. It ends up with the two of you in the bedroom doing a different kind of dance, if you get my meaning ;) Arthur understands how simple things can help you when you’re feeling a certain way, so when you’re feeling manic it’s almost 1000% guaranteed that he’ll just start dancing with you until you’re so tired you don’t want to do anything anymore.

He’s worryingly thin, not only because of the seven medicines he’s on but also because he just can’t afford to eat. It’d be really hard for him to even put any weight on, but at least you keep him regularly fed.

When you told Arthur that you would actually die for him and that you love him so much it just makes you cry sometimes, he’d be astounded. He’d just sit there, blinking for a few tense seconds before his throat rips with loud, intrusive laughter which is so hard and so uncontrollable that he can taste blood in the back of his throat. You’d hold him, love him, support him and cherish him and that right there means that he’s never going to leave you. Not ever. Sex with him reflects this. He’s so gentle, so tender and so loving that it makes your heart bleed. It’s not uncommon for one or both of you to actually cry during sex because you’re just so, so in love with each other that it hurts in the sweetest, most precious way.

You know who you are and you know what you want and you don’t give a fuck what people think about you. You wear what you want when you want and that’s such a fucking mood and Arthur would be so proud of you and he’d totally offer to do your makeup for you using his own work supplies! He’d be so careful and he’d giggle against the way your nose wrinkles when he’s a bit too careful with his brush and he’d want to kiss you again and again, ruining your makeup purposefully so he can stay closer to you for just a little longer and…. oh, I’m actually gonna cry writing this wow… (spoiler: I did.)

In the grand conclusion because wow I’ve rambled: you and Arthur have the sweetest, most precious relationship. It’s full of love. There are definite challenges, there are some arguments because things just get too much for the both of you sometimes and sometimes there’s more taking than giving on either side because that’s how it can be, but you never leave each other. Never, never, never.

Whereas Arthur struggled to even think of talking to you because of the huge age gap, Joker really isn’t all that bothered. You’re a fully consenting adult who knows her own mind, so what’s the harm, right? So long as you’re both happy and comfortable with each other, he couldn’t care less. That being said, you’re 5′2 and Joker is 5′8 so there’d be some height teasing going on. He would put things up on a higher shelf in the kitchen just so he can come up behind you and ‘accidentally’ (on purpose) press his crotch up and into your bottom as he retrieves the item you’re after with a cocky grin on his face and fire in his eyes. Sexual teasing is a very normal part of your relationship and it’s a serious warning sign that he is not okay if he doesn’t do anything like that towards you all day. 

You have a dark sense of humour and you look grumpy a lot of the time, which means that, often, Joker will practically bounce up to you and use his index fingers to make you smile. It wouldn’t take long for you to actually smile from his actions, though, and that’s exactly why he does everything that he does; because he knows you can’t resist him, the smug bastard. Oh, but you love him, and he know the depth of your love for him. He’s so very honoured by it, though his way of showing it is sometimes to murder someone who irritated you last Thursday and not ever telling you about it. He’s a strange one, but he’s so free that you find yourself not minding. Just so long as he’s happy; when Joker is down, it means that something is hugely wrong and it reminds you so badly of Arthur that it hurts and you might have to crack out some of his own jokes just to cheer him up. For example, if you handed him an actual human heart and said, “I love you, Joker”, he’d burst out into loud and genuine laughter and would end up smudging his makeup from kissing you so soundly. Isn’t he gorgeous?

Joker isn’t political, religious, or anything of the sort. He tells you and others that he doesn’t believe in anything. But there’s one thing he believes in. Just one. It’s the love you have for each other that he vehemently believes in. if anyone even dared to suggest that your love isn’t as strong as you say - she’s just scared of being killed, that’s why she’s with him, or what a freak! How can she stand to kiss him? - then he’d go fucking apeshit. The last person he overheard doubting your love for him ended up swallowing several bullets in quick succession. Overkill? Perhaps, but he doesn’t care. No one gets to doubt your love for each other, not even yourselves. He’d be very supportive of your studies and I have no doubt that, if you ever got a shaky grade, it’d be changed very quickly by a shaking tutor who can’t quite look you in the eye. The smiley face on the whiteboard which looks like a child did it clues you in hugely, though. His actions are wrong but it comes from a very heavily guarded heart of gold.

Where Arthur finds your shyness cute and he would immediately adopt Protective Mode™, Joker would just relentlessly tease you just to see how deep your blush goes. “That’s an interesting shade of red, Loren. Where have I seen it before? Ah, yes…” *Twirls and fingers the hem of his red tuxedo* Be warned, though… Only Joker gets to tease you about being shy. If anyone else dared to tease you for being shy or for stuttering or for tripping over your words and oh god shut up, he’d rip them a new one. Only he gets to tease you. He does, sometimes, wind you up on purpose, just to see how far he can push you before you snap and want to punch something. He finds it incredibly amusing. Deep down, though, he’d be just as protective as Arthur and would find himself doing things for you that you’re too shy to do; in whatever means you need! ;)

You dance because it helps you when you’re manic but also because you enjoy it. Just like with Arthur, this is absolutely essential in your relationship with Joker. A lot of the time when you’re dancing, he’d step in flawlessly and you’d start dancing together like Fred and Ginger, with him dipping you, spinning you around, lifting you up with surprising strength, and it’s one of his favourite ways (other than makeup sex) to apologise to you. “Dance with me.” Immediately would his hands grab you, spinning you, his intense green eyes never leaving yours, that damned smirk on his lips as he sees that blush rising on your face… Again, like with Arthur, you do several modes of dancing together; some are more preferable to others!

When you’re out and about together in public, you’re basically glued together. Your hands are held so tightly by the other that you’re not sure whose hands is whose and, are your fingers getting a bit numb? Both of you have jealousy and anger issues for slightly different reasons; Joker because it’s borne from a place of deeply set abuse and abandonment issues, and you have your own reasons that he may or may not know about. He finds it baffling that you get jealous over him, though. So many of Arthur’s neuroses still live on in Joker, despite his bravado. You try to be polite, but Joker makes no such efforts; he will destroy someone for even glancing at you in the street. 

You both live for cosy days. These are the days during which Joker will relax his persona. He will cuddle with you, watching shows on TV, his fingers grazing along the underside of your breasts or even dipping under your underwear. You can arch your hips into his touch all you want, he’s not gonna give you what you want unless you’re patient. He loves foreplay more than the act itself; to him, anticipation heightens everything deliciously. You cook very well, and Joker would love to watch you cook. He enjoys the heat you summon into the bedroom, and he loves bending you over the counter, sweeping the dirty plates into the sink with a noisy crash (and you have to buy new plates at least once a week), and fucking you until you’re only upright  because of his arm wound tightly around your waist.

You once told Joker that you often think of him when you’re not with him, just because he offers you comfort and support from wherever he is. Just knowing he’s somewhere in Gotham wreaking havoc or even waiting for you to get home makes you feel like you can conquer the fucking world, and he was flattered. He did get a little upset, though, when you confessed that you would actually die for him if you had to. He kills for you, and sometimes because of you without a thought, but turning that idea around onto you makes him feel hot in all the wrong ways. I actually think Joker would crawl into your arms that night, needing to feel that you were there, and real, and even now he’s wondering how you could possibly love him knowing all that he has done and will continue to do. He would make you promise to never keep your word on this topic, because no one is gonna be dying in this relationship. You and him are forever a ride or die. For better or for worse.

You stand together at the bathroom sink putting your faces on. Your shoulders are touching, which means sometimes your elbows bump into each other and one of you makes a mistake with the makeup. “Oh, would you look at that? My makeup’s ruined,” Joker would hum, “what are you going to do about it, darling?” There’s only one answer to this, and it’s the two of you kissing each other so passionately that you have to wash your faces off and start again. Who knows, maybe you don’t get to leave the bathroom that day. Makeup is one of the biggest expenditures in your small household, even with Joker knowing where to go to get the good stuff.

In conclusion: dating Joker would be so very different to dating Arthur, but there is love, compassion, trust, adoration, so much sex you’re surprised you can still walk most mornings (he can and will go multiple rounds with you in a day; he’s a horny fucker, is our Joker), and there are definitely more emotional challenges than there are any other, but you’ve learned to stick it out with him over the years, You’d never leave him for any reason, even if he murdered everyone in Gotham (and a lot of the time he’s sorely tempted to burn the city to the ground and start all over again).

Nova woke up with warm arms wrapped around her waist, and the feel of Dom's chest pressed against her back. He wasn't asleep, but he didn't seem to interested in getting up and disturbing her - she wasn't sure he even knew she was awake - instead he seemed to be happy to bury his face in her hair and cuddle. It was utterly adorable - he was utterly adorable, possibly the sweetest man she'd ever met.

 But as much as she wanted to bask in the peace of this moment forever, and enjoy Dom's cuteness, she wanted to say good morning to him even more.

   Stretching slowly - and making sure to 'unintentionally' push her arse against his groin - Nova hummed sleepily before rolling over to meet Dom's hazel eyes, sparkling as they were in the mid-morning sunlight: "Good morning, handsome."

 "Hello." Dom blushed sweetly: "Did you sleep well?"

 "I slept amazingly. You must've worn me out." she teased him, wanting to see Dom blush harder, and instantly getting her wish when she winked at him: "Breakfast?"    

"I feel like I should be offering to make breakfast you." Dom managed to get out past his embarrassment: "I think you literally fucked my brains out."    

Nova laughed: "That's cheesy as fuck, you know that?"    

"Got no brains left, can't help it." he grinned cheekily.

   Nova laughed, shaking her head and leaning in to peck him on the cheek before she got out of bed to head to the bathroom - snagging his t-shirt from last night on her way out. By the time she'd finished, Dom was out of bed too, in his boxers and skinny jeans, ready to slide into the bathroom after her, giving Nova the chance to head to the kitchen to make a start on the breakfast she'd offered.

 Dom followed her out a few minutes later, slinking into the kitchen to wrap his arms around her waist as she fried bacon. He gave her a gentle squeeze, before untangling himself to make them some tea, the two of them working in comfortable silence.

 The only time they spoke was when Nova heard Dom taking a picture of her when she was stood at the sink with her back to him, smirking over her shoulder at him as he openly took another, and asked her if he could put the first one - the one without her face in - on his Instagram story.

 It was really sweet that he asked, in Nova's opinion. She wasn't exactly shy - wearing nothing but Dom's over-sized t-shirt and her underwear was hardly the most scandalous she'd ever looked - but she appreciated that he didn't just assume that she would be okay with things. She let him post it, smiling when he showed her his story, with a shower of multi-coloured hearts around her. It was absolutely the cutest picture anyone had ever posted of her online, and Nova suddenly wished that she could post a similarly cute picture of him...but given the only people who followed her Instagram were her family and friends, there was absolutely no way she'd get away with posting a picture of anyone they didn't know without getting questioned.

 Showing off that she had a new love interest for the first time via Instagram probably wouldn't be the smartest move. Most of her family already despaired over her life choices, she didn't need to give them any reason to bitch about - or at - her. Especially since she and Dom weren't actually together.

 Nova didn't need all that family drama over a perceived relationship didn't actually exist yet - the key word being 'yet'.

 What label - if any - she and Dom were going to use was something they would have to discuss before they told anyone anything - but Nova didn't want to be pushy. It would come up when it came up, and until then they could just keep it quiet, at least on her end.

 Of course, Nova was used to men who weren't comfortable discussing emotions - and Dom was far from that.

   "So, I know we didn't say anything more than that we were going to see each other, and I don't want to be pushy..." he said while cutting into his eggs: "...but I'm going to be pushy. Are we, like, dating? Are we partners now? Boyfriend and girlfriend? Are we just seeing each other?"

 Nova carefully swallowed her mouthful of tea before looking at Dom: "What do you want us to be?"

 "What do you want us to be?"

 Honestly, Nova couldn't be upset that he'd turned the question around on her...even though she genuinely had no idea where to begin answering it: "I...I don't know. More than just seeing each other."

 "But not partners, or boyfriend and girlfriend, or whatever we'd call that?"

 "Not yet? I know we really like what we've seen of each other, but we've only spent one night together as, like, just us." she tried to explain how she felt, taking a bite of bacon just for a chance to get her thoughts in order: "So I guess dating? To see if we're as compatible as we think we are."

 Dom nodded thoughtfully: "I think that sounds good."

 "You're not upset that we didn't jump straight to being officially together?" Nova asked, trying not to frown in concern.

   She wasn't used to people wanting to take things this fast - and falling back on her usual pragmatism was the only way she could think to go about things right now, but she didn't want to upset Dom when all he was doing was being sweet.

   But despite her concern, Dom just grinned and shook his head: "If we're dating, that means I get to show off and take you on fun dates to impress you, and I'm actually really looking forward to that. I'm gonna blow your mind."

 Nova laughed: "You already do...but I'm really looking forward to going on dates with you, too."

   Dom grinned, and leaned in to press his forehead against Nova's affectionately. Nova leaned into it, smiling almost as wide as she saw Dom was, before she closed her eyes to just bask in the moment. She definitely hadn't been expecting it to go that well - the fact it had had left her feeling giddy from relief and excitement, and, if his facial expressions were anything to go by, Dom felt much the same way.

 Which, as far as Nova was concerned, was a perfectly good reason to have a lazy day together.

 They'd just gotten past what Nova had been worried would be a really awkward conversation a lot sooner than she thought they would, in possibly the best way they could, with neither of their feelings getting stepped on - if that didn't mean that they'd earned the right to have an easy few hours, she didn't know what would.

 The pair of them ended up back in her bed, cuddled up together under the blankets, watching Rock of Ages on Netflix, singing along to all the 80's songs as dramatically as they could while remaining under the blankets. It didn't last too long; by the time I Want To Know What Love Is came on, they'd lost interest in Tom Cruise and his blonde girlfriend, and were more interested in each other.

 Dom was on top of Nova, one hand on her cheek and the other on her waist, singing random snippets of the song playing in the background between dipping down and kissing her softly, all while smiling sweetly. Nova had never been seduced by Rock of Ages before, but Dom was managing it, somehow. Nova tangled her hand in Dom's hair so she could pull him down for a proper kiss.

 It was still sweet. Dom's hand stayed on her cheek, his thumb rubbing gently over her cheekbone

 Nova leaned up a little further, willing to get a crick in her neck if it meant that she could keep kissing Dom - only for her phone to go off on the bedside table. Dom pulled away, breathless, and looking so gorgeous Nova couldn't resist pulling him in for another kiss...just in time for her phone to go off again with a second message.

   Dom laughed this time, even as Nova groaned in frustration: "Why does my phone hate me?"

 "Clearly someone wants your attention just as much as I do." Dom joked, gently rolling off Nova and handing her her phone before getting to his feet: "I'm going to get a drink. Do you want anything?"

 "There's a bar of Marvellous Creations in the fridge, if you wouldn't mind bringing it back with you."

 Dom beamed: "The one with the popping candy?"

 "Of course."

      Dom clambered out of bed to go to the kitchen, and Nova picked up her phone to see who had messaged her, only to see it was a picture from Stella. Assuming it was just some more random bullshit from the kids' dad again - he was so fond of being a dick for the sake of it, even if Stella hadn't actually done anything wrong, often resulting in nothing actually happening - Nova opened it to see what the dickhead was saying now...and almost dropped her phone.

 It wasn't a message from Stella's ex.

 It was the picture of Nova from Dom's Instagram, followed by a message asking if it was in fact a picture of her.

   Shit.

   Even if she was asking if it was Nova in the picture, Nova knew Stella knew it was her. Stella knew what she looked like, even from behind, and the picture was in her kitchen. Even if Nova said it was just some other blonde woman (which might've worked, since it wasn't like Stella could reasonably argue with that), there was no-way she could deny that the kitchen was hers.

 She never thought she'd regret

 ...There was no denying that that was her kitchen. And there would be no getting away with telling Stella that it wasn't Nova, just a random blonde woman in Nova's kitchen.

   Shit.

   Dom came back into the toom, took one look at her face, and immediately dropped down next to her on the bed: "What's wrong?"

 "So...I forgot my niece was a fan of yours." Nova buried her face in her hands: "She follows you on Instagram."

 It took a few seconds for the realisation to hit Dom - but when it did, his face fell: "She saw the picture of you on my story?"

 Nova nodded: "She did. And she sent it to her mum. Who is now asking if it is me in the picture, like she doesn't already know what my bloody kitchen looks like. She just wants to me tell her it's me."

 "...What are you going to do?"

  "What else can I do?" Nova scrubbed her hands over her face: "I'm going to tell her it's me."
