[Edit: for those wondering, her name is 008 :) it's my fav number]
So. I may have caved in to my robot obsession. I also may have made a robot-sona with the ever-so-infamous tv/monitor for a head. maybe.
I would absolutely kill to create some sort of world involving others' robotic characters and dystopian concepts and whatnot with interactive lore but uhm. I sort-of need more than one person for that ^^' maybe some other time!
[I've been listening to Ladytron while making this character and I feel like it fits so well]
spotify will be like are you a HARDCORE PUNK do you HATE THE ESTABLISHMENT and want some songs to BEAT UP COPS TO? listen to our PUNK PLAYLIST! and the playlist is like. welcome to the black parade
Things I have learned from a year long experiment:
Spotify tracking starts on January 1st
Spotify will track the songs you're listening to even if they're on mute
Spotify never questions why you're obsessively looping Turn To Stone and literally nothing else for four months
The more often you have music playing the less often Spotify sends you notifications
If you do this, you will fuck up all blends you make because you will contribute exactly one fucking song
Your friends who like music more than you will (rightly) call you insane
Running something with the sole purpose of looping a song 24/7 is, unsurprisingly, expensive, and likely one of the factors that broke my old PC
Imagine Dragons will send you a Cameo to say thanks for the silver medal, and Spotify will not drag Jeff Lynne kicking and screaming away from retirement to personally thank me for the between $83.86 and $139.78 I earned him (assuming Spotify pays between 0.003 and 0.005 per stream)
This is how many times I played Turn to Stone.
Finally, I learned that your friends will not find this an even remotely amusing joke and most of them will either think you're mentally unwell for doing this (true) or will violently not care about your obsession with a band you know two songs from
