I feel like the yyh community dosen't talk about sensui enough. Sensui is probably one of the best antagonist ive ever seen and it sucks no one talks about him hardly.

Sensui was a man of a justice system that was unblinded with obvious one sided ideals (demons = bad, human = good) it wasn't until that one night that completely made black and white turn to gray, his morality shattered, everything turning into a murky puddle.

Humanity doomed itself that night, turning the man who fought for it, to turning against it.

But it also made Sensui reflect, made him question himself, made him want to open his eyes and balance the scale as to why demons were so bad which led to Sensui down to opening the barrier between the worlds, if he could understand the same thing he'd use to hunt down maybe it'd put his mind at ease. himself at ease, maybe he'd finally understand.

ive posted so much every single day on this blog for weeks now i feel weird having barely posted today . ive been busy but uhhh heres a random image i never posted from my tadc art folder?

I couldn't help myself so I'm taking @cerealboxlore's offer to jump in again since I had so much fun with the first one!

Word: MARVEL

M: "My hero," Lois smiled pulling him close and ruffling his hair.

"I thought Superman was your hero?" Billy teased.

"It's easy being a hero when you're bulletproof, but when you're a squishy little human like us, it takes guts." (One Last Chance)

A: A voice in his ear startled him, warm breath ghosting over his skin. “I could take out that gag and let you scream and scream and scream until your throat bleeds and your voice dies out. But no one would hear you. No one would suspect a thing." (Pretty Little Thing)

R: “Raising that many kids on your own,” he said, pausing as he looked for the right words, the right way to show his support of his teammate. Eventually he settled on keeping it simple. “That must be hard. If you ever need anything, I hope you know I’ll always be just one call away.” (Family Matters)

This was so much fun, but it also reminded me just how much more I need to write lol. But needless to say I am more inspired than I've been in ages!

Why is it always the shows that promote the value of friendship and healthy close bonds between friends and have barely any romance that are the ones that have the most vile shipping wars

Being a writer is so fun because every day I wake up and think that I could absolutely write a fourth wing or a lightlark in like 3 months, market it on tiktok, and then not have to worry abt my student loans

And then I remember I don't want to contribute to the shitty state of fantasy and such so I'd actually just spend a billion years making a good book and my debt would continue festering

#genuinely guys those books r exactly the shit i wrote in like 6th grade #handwrote btw #like 500 pages of nonsense #and some of that nonsense is still better than lightlark and all!!!#god i am so tired of these books yknow #romantasy is evil and i hate it #its neither romance nor fantasy!! its a secret third thing called “actively harmful”!!!!#anyway someone pioneer the sci-fi and romance genre combo #call that shit sciance lmao #writer #thoughts #writers on tumblr #is this how tag #is now #so here's the thing #i have been writing for more than a decade now which i feel is quite cool beans of me #and in that decade i have gone feral and taught myself an insane amount abt creative writing way too quickly #because i care abt storytelling to a frankly concerning degree #so when i see this authors rock up with 600 pages of nothing #cardboard characters #and fucked world building #i get MAD #and i can have and will rant abt this #but suffice it to say that my problem is not with “turn ur brain off” storytelling its with storytelling done by a turned off brain #i get it #writing is hard work and it takes a lot of practice to get good #but why don't you care enough to write a second draft? to edit? to think for one goddamn second abt how characters work?#i have written things with no depth and cardboard characters and bad worldbuilding #but i *knew* those were issues with the story and i either went back and fixed it or ditched the work entirely #i just don't understand how someone can care so little abt their work that they let it get *published* like that
