As Bucky’s office doors opened he remained at his desk, turned towards the window. He’d been expecting Steve’s return from making collections.

The booming music from his club took over the room, not that you’d know it from looking at Bucky—known to most as The Winter Soldier, a notorious Russian sniper turned Mafia Kingpin—who didn’t so much as blink an eye.

He did, however, continue twirling his trusted knife in one hand. The other, holding a glass of whiskey.

When the doors closed Bucky finally spoke. “I expect all your collections were made.”

Prompt/idea for a fic

Peter, with his press photographer badge.

Maybe he accidentally shows it while trying to get into a club when trying to get his ID out. Bouncer sees it and lets him in no worries. Peter would have thought it was weird.

And then he tries it again on purpose. And once again, he gets let in, even though it's a different club. It gets to be a habit. He starts writing reviews in a tiny little column about the latest clubs for the paper. Creates a website to track his review and how he rates. Vlogs. Streams. Goes live at events.

He gets popular fast, so much so clubs are now PAYING him to show up and give an honest review. Doesn't matter what type of club, either. Some people even pay Peter to let them join him on his adventures in the clubs.

He wasn't expecting the Winter Soldier and the Faclon, aka new Captain America, to show up at his studio apartment. They needed an in for an exclusive club, and he was their ticket it.

And Peter was worried he was found out as Spiderman again....

Story Prompt

Hear me out mfs. So just saw a reddit post and OMG I LOVED IT. It was on TT called “My HOT roommate keeps giving me FOREHEAD kisses when I’m ASLEEP. How do I ask him to do it when I’m AWAKE too?” The comments were insane, everyone was going crazy over the two.

So anyway, I thought of this as a really good story prompt for people to use to write fanfics. Example(don’t come at me, I’m using these two because they’re examples of the two characters I find closest to the ones in the reddit post in my head.)

Bucky, grew up with a family that was about “being a man you need less affection” while Peter, his roommate grew up affectionate around everyone and would have his arm around someone’s shoulder whenever they were close to someone and all that. Close friends too.

Bucky, MC, always tired and sleepy. Goes to bed early when he can and not a morning person, takes 30 minute naps during the day on the couch maybe twice or more daily. Peter was usually out around that time doing whatever with his friends so it never occurred much where they would interact much back at home when Bucky was sleeping.

Summer holidays/school break rolls around and a bunch of their friends go out on trips or even COVID. Basically they’re both home more often and don’t go out as much during this period. Peter didn’t mind Bucky sleeping on the couch.

The living room was usually quite cold so when Bucky forgets to grab a blanket when he sleeps on the couch, Peter would place one on him. Bucky would fall asleep without one and wake up with one. Sometimes Bucky would sleep and wake up to Peter fiddling with Bucky’s hair. He loved it and never said anything about it. Bucky began sleeping more often just to have Peter play with his hair until he eventually when he was just about to snooze off, he felt a peck on the forehead. It confused Bucky, but he didn’t mind. It happened more often and Peter would give him a forehead kiss all the time when he was taking naps.

Bucky wasn’t sure how to feel. He loved it and began pretending to fall asleep just to few that sensation and even purposely forgetting his blanket, but he’s never liked guys before. He’s known Peter has been with guys and girls in the past, but Bucky wasn’t sure if this was just him being touch starved or if he even liked guys..

Hi! Super weird question to ask, but, I was wondering if you were the person that wrote a fan fic of Bucky/Peter called “Forever.” On Ao3? If so, I always wanted to know what happened to that fic, because it was literally the best of literature I’ve read on Bucky/Peter. It was so good that I would go back to read it again, and I was wondering if you still had that fic, or if something happened to it, I just wanted to know because it still eats me up to this day that I can’t read it no more 😭. Also if this isn’t who I think it is, then I’m sorry please ignore this!

Hi!!! I'm not sure how old this message is but yes, I am the person who wrote Forever. The reason it got deleted was actually not by my choice. The coauthor was found out to be lying about faking a terminal illness and so she deleted her entire account on ao3 and I believe on tumblr as well. Ao3 terminates even coauthored fics if one person decides to remove it so the entire thing was removed and I have just never gotten around to fixing the issue because it was so time consuming and during the aftermath I was still finishing by Bachelor's degree and didn't have time to sort through and make sure I had all the files. Sadly, after checking it looks like all the files were deleted at some point.

But! I do have some good news! Ao3 emailed me some documentation of the original fic so I do have a readable version, it's just not formally posted anymore. I keep telling myself I'll get around to reposting it and so I haven't released the link but I have a feeling I might never get to it so here's the link since I feel bad its been hidden in a backroom for so long.

It is the story in its entirety and pretty much all the original information. Really the biggest hurdle to me posting it on ao3 has been needing to divvy things up into chapters and do all the tagging again.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Let me know if the link works. I tested it while logged out to make sure you didn't need to be signed into my throw away account to access the info and it seemed fine but confirmation doesn't hurt.

i’m asking any spidershield experts i can: i’m looking for a fic it seems has disappeared. i think the plot was that bucky was on house arrest and sometimes it’s peter’s turn to keep watch outside or something? but bucky sneaks out and instead of peter telling the avengers he just accompanies bucky around town at night and they slowly grow closer? it think it was a very long fic.

Looking for a fic...

Winterspider fic with no powers where Peter was trained in this place since he was very young and then he gets recruited by Maria Hill to work with Bucky who's like this scary guy no one talks to. I'm pretty sure he was locked in a room when they went to get him. The whole time it's Peter speaking a lot and Bucky is not having it. I stopped reading when they saved some people I think and then they were running away and Peter might have been left behind. I don't remember much but I miss it and I want to read it again and finish it this time :(

The camera pans over to a man screaming, big smile on his face with his one arm raised, before he takes off from the sidelines to run toward the stands. Crowd is cheering, waving signs and flags.

" Looks like part of Team USA's Gymnastic team is going wild in the stands! There is Peter Parker, he won 1 gold and 2 Bronze metals just a few weeks ago in his categories. And looks like Sargent Barnes is running toward them, what a …"

Peter was waving a large American flag, its draped behind him as he holds it up. As Bucky rushing up toward the stands, Peter leans down, his arms open. Once Bucky is close they embrace each other in a hug.

The crowd is still cheering, but then Bucky moves his arm to not be wrapped around Peter anymore. He moves his arm so that he can move his hand to grasp the back of Peter's neck, and pulls him into a kiss.

The crowd gets loud again.

Peter pulls away from the kiss with a laugh. Pulling the flag from out from behind himself, to draped around Bucky. He gives him another quick kiss, mouthing something to him.

Bucky has a huge grin on his face as he stares up at Peter. He says something and then he winks at him, cause Peter to roll his eyes and laugh more before he lets go. He makes sure Bucky gets a hold of the flag before he heads back out to the field to get his medal.
