This was the plot of a webcomic i wanted to write, but since i changed parts of the worldbuilding, i don't know if it still works, so lets use it to make a steddie ficlet
"Are you sure you this is going to work?" Steve asked again, watching as she lit up the last candle.
"Yes, i'm following the instructions the lady gave me" Robin answered, openning the book and flipping to the page she needed.
"Yeah, that lady definitly was a real witch" He rolled his eyes. Sometimes Robin got in his nerves with her insame ideas. "You know you got scammed, right?"
"I was not scammed, thank you very much" She looked at him with an annoyed expression. "She showed us the certificate"
"Could be fake" Steve shrugged.
"Shut up, dingus!" Robin waved her hand towards him. She was about to start the ritual.
As she said the words, Steve felt a cold breeze from behind and scooted closer to her. The circle of candles around the pentagram on the floor, the only source of light in the room. The flames flickering with the littlest movement from one of them. When Robin finished the summoning, both waited with held breath for the next.
But... nothing happened? After five minutes of holding eachother, Steve blurted out:
"Called it!"
"That bitch! I can't believ-"
The pentagram started to burn. The flames getting higher and higher, almost reaching the ceiling, making Steve worry that they would get in trouble with the landlord. Between the flames, a figured began to appear. It was tall and slender, with long horns. The two humans were once again hugging eachother, afraid of whatever it was that expected them behind the wall of flames.
Gradually, the fire dissipated, and they could see the figure more clearly. It looked like a man, around their age, with dark brown curly hair that was messly tied up, and a ill fitting suit, decorated with chains and pins. His big eyes made him look approachable, despite his sharp teeth and pointy ears. His skin was a pale blueish gray tone, but he still looked lively when he smiled.
"Good evening, mortals. My name is Edarzadar, but you can call me Eddie. I'll be your demon here today" He talked like a showman, which made Robin snort a laugh.
"What the fuck..." Steve murmured under his breath, but the demon noticed, turning his head to look at him. And the already big eyes seemed to widen with something akin to awe. Steve felt himself blush under that gaze.
"Uhh... Hi mister Eddie, i'm Robin and i summoned you to see if you could help us" her smiled was hesitant and forced. If it weren't for the urgency, she'd be shitting bricks.
Reluctantly, Eddie took his eyes off of Steve, now looking at Robin.
"H-How can i help you?" He stuttered a bit.
"So, our rent has gone up and we haven't been able to pay the last two months and our landlord said if we don't pay this month's we will be evicted, but we have nowhere to go and we have no family in town and we can't leave because of our jobs" Robin began to ramble with a pleading tone.
"Basically you need money" Eddie interrupted.
"Yes! Can you help us?" Robin stood up, making Steve fall from where he leaned on her.
"Yeah i can but it comes with a price" He glanced between the two humans. "Are you a couple?"
"Ew no! What does that have to do with it?" Robin makes a disgusted face. Steve looks offended.
"I'll cover your debts if he goes out on a date with me" The demon points at Steve, whose eyes go wide and mouth parts, incredulous.
"You can't cause he's strai-"
"Actually Robin, i was going to tell you before you decided to play witch" Steve stood up to look Robin in the eye. "A few weeks ago i went to a bar with some colleagues from college and hooked up with a guy. Afterwards, i dismissed because i thought it was a drunk accident, but i really liked it and i thought the guy was kinda cute. So... I guess i'm bisexual" He smiled. Robin's eyes began to tear up and she reached for a hug, squeezing him as much as she could. He hugged her back.
Eddie cleared his throat. "I'd hate to interrupt this lovely moment, but..." He got closer to Steve, invading his personal space. With a low and hoarse voice, he asked. "What do you say, big boy?"
Steve smiled, putting on the charming side of his King Steve persona. "I would love to"
I haven't written anything in years, english is not my first language, i didn't look for any misspellings AND i'm not a writer at all, so sorry for anything. Also if someone wants to take this prompt and write a full fic, feel free to do, but tag me please because i want to read

Eddie, posting to Tiktok: Raise your hand if you and your husband had a long discussion about not needing to do renovations to your kitchen every time you’re bored and you both agree that it’s too soon to get new cabinets only for him to get new cabinets anyways. Raise your hand if you’ve ever done that?
Steve: Oh ho ho, Daddy Warbucks, why don’t you tell everybody that your cheap ass has so much money that you didn’t even notice thirty thousand dollars come out of your bank account?
Eddie: You spent thirty thousand dollars on cabinets?
Steve: No…. I spent twenty thousand.
Eddie, accepting facts: When did you even have them installed?
Steve: When your ‘long weekend in Los Angeles’ turned into two weeks
Eddie:
Eddie: Call me daddy again
Steve: No

hi i just started watching that 911 show in the background while working thinking it would be a basic cop show/procedural drama i could play for white noise to boost my productivity like i did with all six seasons of SWAT (shout out to shemar moore’s overly passionate pecs and BECAUSE SWAT IS FAMILY speeches and that one ryan and shane cameo for getting me through my job onboarding months ago) and avoid the attention issues i get with british legal and cop dramas (shout out to the current loml rupert penry jones on silk and whitechapel, his roles as clive reader and di chandler are iconic)
and like yes. 911 is exactly that. so cringey. so feel warm-y and trite in the worst ways possible, filled with random monologues, oddly paced and placed one-liners, random quote intros that desperately try to replicate the word bangers of criminal minds, unnecessary flashbacks interspersed in the worst episode arcs ever and completely destroying the suspense, and with the weirdest combination of over-acting and under-acting in the entire fucking world that i have ever seen, and some entire scenes i just cannot stand to watch but do anyway because of how unrealistic and ridiculous they are but oh my god when this show hits its high points, it hits them
i need angela bassett’s athena grant to come and railroad my life. i want her to point her finger in my face and threaten to cuff me to my bed like she did that boyfriend in that season one episode (and yes THAT HAPPENED THANK GOD THE BUCK CENTRIC SEXY SCENES DID NOT LAST AS LONG AS SOME OTHER SHOWS COUGH SWAT COUGH BUT WHY NO MORE ATHENA?) you my friends have not lived until you’ve seen her on the other end of a huge tv screen raising her eyebrow and acting like she’s about to beat you up with nothing more than her commanding tone.
and also like all the other fucking characters.
i watched this show hoping to have inane drama and dialogue watching over me while i send emails and plan. i did not watch this show to bite my nails over maddie buckley’s psycho ex husband storyline, nor to swoon over the romance between to her and chimney (howard han i would die for you, your bg episode was so sad but so beautiful and if you had died i wouldve been so sad, yours were the flashbacks that won me over), nor to fangirl over ROBERT FUCKING NASH AND HIS GUILT COMPLEX (I LOVE YOU BOBBY), or to have my heart grow three sizes with the fucking tsunami episode
like you guys, i was on the edge of my seat, eating my dinner and actually wondering if they were about to kill off christopher diaz and break my heart and buck’s heart and ruin everything and like they didnt but now evan buckley’s character growth is such an inspiration and i just dont want him to fuck it up by trying to go back to work early and ahhhhhhhhhhh this was supposed to be a casual watch but now im writing this so im gonna have to find something else or worse go back to watching silk or whitechapel in the bg and be enraptured by rupert

thinking about what joel stoffer said about wayne and eddie.
thinking about him saying "i made it a mission for me, as his uncle, to protect him and shield him and take care of him."
thinking about how these became eddie's core values — to protect, to shield, to take care of. how those are the pillars that literally carried him through the entire upside down ordeal, the pillars that fueled every interaction he had with the kids and steve and robin and nancy while they were fighting for their lives.
thinking about how wayne was eddie's protector, wayne was eddie's shield, wayne took care of eddie and then how eddie was that party's protector, eddie was the party's shield, eddie took care of the party.
thinking about how eddie looked at the situation he was in and decided that he was going to channel everything wayne taught him, that he was going to do for his new friends what wayne did for him, that he was going to be the person to them that wayne was for him.
thinking about eddie lying there, darkness swimming at the edges of his vision and his mind, and he just thinks "i did what you taught me, wayne, i did everything you taught me. i hope i did you proud."

what social label would Billy assign Eddie and the rest of Corroded Coffin if they were all in high school in 2009?
I've always struggled to grasp this sort of thing (it's the 'tism i think). So i just, have no idea ( i chose to set this story when i did so i could reference my own high school experiences and have less to research bc the research for this AU is already a beast, but unfortunately i was extremely out of the loop with this sort of thing in high school and now ).

Chapter 11: Spin The Bottle
Ships: Steddie, Mungrove, Steddiegrove/Harringroveson, 💥Harringrove💥
Fandom: Stranger Things
Word count: 48k+, this chapter 5k+, WIP
Rating: Explicit (adult content)
Tags: Spin the bottle, first kisses, public orgasms, frottage, biting, teasing, dirty talk, bicurious Chrissy Cunningham, bicurious Steve Harrington, gay Billy Hargrove, queer Eddie Munson, lesbian Robin Buckley, harringrove, polyamory, Eddie is horny on main always
Summary:
When it was finally time for Steve’s spin, everyone was excited, because this game was getting fun now.
That is until the bottle landed in front of Billy.
Steve was flushed pink with nervous arousal. Eddie knew Steve wanted to kiss Billy, Steve knew he wanted to kiss Billy. Hell everyone here probably knew that now. But now that was confirmed for Billy too and the blonde's earlier amused smile faded as fear took over. And as per usual, in a last ditch attempt at self preservation Billy’s walls fly up, and he makes a complete ass out of himself.
Steve interpreted it as hesitation, and in a quick attempt to save face at being so obviously rejected, he asks Tammy,
“What’s the penalty for passing?”

🔀 for steddie 💕
Thank you so much for the ask Janai!!!!!! Just so we all know I'm shuffling my big "Liked Songs" playlist for this ask game, so any song I've saved on Spotify since 2017 could come up lmao. For this ask I got Love Might Be Found (Volcano) by Montaigne! Oooooh man okay this is such a good song, it's about being in the earlier stages of a relationship and then having to leave them for some reason, so you're wishing for a reason to stay and see if things would've worked out (like a natural disaster closing the airports or smth).
The obvious Steddie AU for this (at least imo) is therefore a modern AU where Corroded Coffin has the opportunity to make it big and achieve their dreams of becoming a famous metal band, but doing so requires moving away from Indiana. Moving away from Steve (who at this point is friends-with-benefits with Eddie and they're both hopelessly pining). Steve, who doesn't want to be the reason Eddie gives up on his dreams, just lets him go and pretends he's not madly in love with Eddie, since he thinks (correctly) that Eddie loves him back and would refuse to leave Steve behind if they were boyfriends. Eddie is heartbroken that Steve's not trying harder to keep him, because he really thought they had the start of something good together. Cue a prolonged period of extreme angst and long-distance pining from both of them, Eddie writes at least four heartbroken ballads about how much he misses Steve, Steve follows CC's progress in the music industry religiously but refuses to admit that to anyone. (Robin knows, though. She always does).
EVENTUALLY they get their shit together when CC throw a launch party for their sophomore album, at which point they've blown up enough that they can afford to invite their friends from back home as well. It's actually Jeff who invites Steve, because you've got him fucked up if you think he's going to listen to Eddie moan about The One Who Got Away™ for another fucking second. Steve is very skeptical of the invite, because he hasn't heard from Eddie since a few months after they moved away, but eventually caves on the condition he can bring Robin. They spend almost the entire launch party staunchly not speaking to one another, which gets very awkward when some of Eddie's new friends from the music industry start asking questions about how they know each other (because they very obviously do). It only stops when Steve and Robin are having an emotional debrief in the men's bathroom (because Robin is not going to let a gendered bathroom sign keep her away from her platonic soulmate in his time of need - and also CC hired out a function room for a private event, so the only people even using the bathroom are from their event). Mid-breakdown, just as Steve's about to admit he still has feelings for Eddie all this time, they get interrupted by someone entering the bathroom. It's Eddie, because of course it is.
Eddie tries to play it off as needing a piss, but he's obviously come in here for a mental breakdown of his own. Robin takes one look at the absolutely stricken way he looks at Steve, like he's been stabbed right through the chest at the sight of him, and takes a risk. She says she's going to guard the bathroom door until they sort their shit out and leaves them alone in there together.
To her credit, she lasts almost half an hour at the bathroom door of death-glaring every drunk man who so much as looks her way. But then she hears a crashing noise, followed by the distinct sound of someone moaning coming from the bathroom behind her, and decides those bastards are on their own now.
Send me a 🔀 and a pairing, and I'll shuffle my playlist and give you an AU about that pairing based on the first song that comes up!

honestly I think the only way someone from the main cast would die in 911 is if the actor did something terrible and fox refused to take them back. like even when secondary character's actors want to leave the show they make up a story for them that allows them to come back if the show needs it.

Okay, but picture cool guy Billy Hargrove buying his weed from super nerd Eddie Munson and thinking the guy is such a poser for doing the metalhead vibe when he’s actually king of the dweebs. Meanwhile, Eddie shreds guitar in his buddy’s garage four times a week and Billy played the tambourine in his freshman music class because he’s too much of an edgy class clown to even take the recorder seriously.

not the way that it's been three months since stranger things 4 initially dropped and eddie munson still has a chokehold on me.
like, my guy - i have actual work on manuscript drafts i need to do, and instead i'm over here daydreaming about eddie's goofy ass and joe's tongue thing every waking moment because he's just living rent-free in my mind. this is worse than the first reaction i had to season two steve.
