Prompt 17 - Don't Go

This was the moment that they had been building to ever since that first stolen kiss. 

“Please don’t go,” James begged him. “Please, Reg. Please,” Regulus swallowed. He’d prepared for this, and he’d thought James had as well. 

“James, you knew this was coming,” He said gently, scratching his left forearm over his jumper. James sniffled. 

“I know, but I thought we’d have more time. Please, you don’t have to go, we can figure something out. Maybe my parents can…” James tried to negotiate with him. 

“No, James, this has been the plan since before I even started school. 

“Please,” Tears dripped down James’s face. Regulus rolled his eyes. 

“For crying out loud, James, I’m only going to Edinburgh for Uni. It’s not the end of the world. You’ll visit constantly, and I’ll be at yours over the holidays and the entire summer. We’re hardly going to be apart, plus we have the rest of our lives together,” Regulus squirmed uncomfortably once he’d finished talking and pulled his new jumper off. The wool was itching his skin terribly. 

“I still don’t want you to go,” James mumbled unhappily. 

“I know, love,” Regulus said, cupping his boyfriend's face and pressing their lips together.

“Lord, you two are ridiculous!” Sirius scoffed from his place on Remus’s lap. “Why don’t you just apply to Edinburgh and finish off your degree there?”

“Oh, that could work,” James said, looking to Regulus for his opinion. 

“It’s worth a shot,” Regulus replied, feeling lighter. 

“Idiots.” Sirius snorted, shuffling around to bury his face in Remus’s chest.

i was a so called warm-up sketch enthusiast up until when the sketch suddenly had strong words for me (about hiccup in a fisherman’s sweater)

Heartslabyul uniform my nemesis… I would never be allowed to come to an unbirthday party, seeing them wearing it would tip me over the edge. Waistcoat and jacket over a wide neck T-shirt is so unbelievably foul. You can see the shirt bunching too it’s not even fitted, every single one is baggy 🤢.

And Octavinelle can tip their fedoras but have you Seen Trey? pre tipped, m’lady o’clock every hour, looks ready to fly off with a slight breeze. Now really that’s a him problem, but Riddle wears his crown off centre too.. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was one of the million highly specific dorm rules that wearing anything on your head in a normal way is illegal.

I don’t even want to get started on the perfectly fitted formal trousers that bunch at the bottom because all these freaks insist on wearing high tops and then don’t even bother to tuck anything in. RIDDLE WAS TOO LENIENT. I WANT THESE BOYS EXECUTED FR !!!

I'm willing to forgive their awful shoes because of riddles heeled boots. he is serving for all of them

Smn here said: fluffed up for winter Kuya! And imagine, Kuya had enough of feeling a tiny bit cold, and he just turns into this fluffball round type of fox that we sometimes see on arts! Completely soft, round and unapologetic about his foxian beauty! (Almost biting off Quincy's hands when he tries to touch the Flooooof just to be a dick)

I bought this skirt (strike one for being crazy, I don't own any skirts or dresses. look it was retro goth makeover time with the boys don't question it) and oh my god like how are you supposed to... move? pencil skirt how move? how to walk? i know you could NOT run in this thing but how do you stairs. i'm so confused is this just not an issue for people?

About the Valentines day thing:

Imagine Bojan never realises and then a year later he's prepared this fancy valentines day date because "it's our first valentines day together" and Kris just says: "well technically it's our second. We fucked on valentines day last year." And then Bojan just acts all dramatic because he didn’t honour their first valentines day together.

LMAOOO bojan has a whole crisis over how he didnt treat his princess right on their first valentines day together apologising over and over again begging for forgiveness and kris is like like. ..... ok .... whatever can we finish dinner first.

I am preparing an activity for today related to textile history and I wanted to check the good things cotton has as opposed to other fabrics like linen, hemp or wool in case someone asks. And while even wikipedia articles will list all the wonders of these three fabrics, I struggle to find the advantages of cotton.

It's not that cotton is not a good material, but from this research, what cotton has that others don't is good marketing (and well, 19th century slavery as a great support to make all the other textile industries go down).

They rarely list its flexibility, which would be the main difference with linen, for instance, and many of the good things cotton has, linen and hemp also have (but often better). And cotton is not easier to grow, it's quite delicate, only grows in certain weather and requires quite a lot of pesticides (which hemp, for instance, does not, given that it's basically marihuana).

Generally, my conclusion is that these 4 materials are very similar in a lot of ways, with wool being the most distinct of them all (but then, it comes from an animal and not a plant). It's likely there are a lot of interests into maintaining cotton as the main one for some reason that is not "it's hypoalergenic" (so is wool, who knew).

I will say that as much fun as ridiculous window shopping can be, I do really love the victory of finding good clothes in thrift stores. Today I found an alice + olivia wool cableknit sweater in exactly the size and style my sister wears for seven dollars

Woolen clothes are genuinely so nice and warm... I was wearing a polyester knit yesterday and freezing my ass off and today it's even colder and I'm cosy as hell in my woolen jumper.
