i saw a post saying that bg3 doesn't "play with morality" because some figures & characters feel like they're evil/antagonistic just for the sake of it. i get where the take comes from, but i honestly could not disagree more. it's a very sanitised idea of morality that characters & people need a "reason", be it a personal tragedy or something like that, to be cruel & awful. sometimes cruelty just is and neither needs nor wants reason or justification

Ok anyways here’s a life update! I’m very in love & my partner & I got to go camping throughout Oregon a couple weeks ago, which was probably the most fun I’ve ever had. & then we got into a car accident, which was probably the least fun I’ve ever had. We’re both okay physically (I do have an already-fucked-up knee that has been worse ever since, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯), insurance companies suck, the initial first few weeks of flashbacks have been really brutal, but I’m trying to be present in the gratitude that we’re alive, & that it could have been so much worse but wasn’t.

Other than that: my book’s coming along at a somewhat faster pace than it had been for the last couple months. I’m moving in with one of my best friends soon & am so excited to be in a happier, healthier living situation. & I saw Barbie!! Pic above is what I wore to the theater 🩷
