I feel like the folks who wrote the D&D movie have played campaigns before because so many scenes felt true to what players are keen to do. A few examples:

The jailbreak. It doesn't matter that the bard critted his persuasion check. The party had a plan to escape that it took two and a half hours to hash out and god DAMN it they are going to DO THE THING!!!

The potato. "The bad guy has a hostage by the throat and is expounding on his evil plans and motivation. What do you do?" "I UH... I THROW A POTATO" /rolls a 20

The corpses. Of course an adventuring party is going to dig up every damn grave until they get the dude who knows what they need to know.

"That's half of my attacks. How is the wizard looking?" "You're *pretty* sure she's dead..." "Fuck you, Carl, I keep attacking until this asshole is paste!"

Shota hummed, setting down the book he'd been reading. "It's a bit cold tonight," Carefully, he adjusted his hoodie, making sure you were still comfortably against him. "C'mere, wanna talk about it?"

Shaking your head, you sank further into him, molding against his body, relishing his warmth.

"Okay," he kissed the top of your head, the angle of the action a bit awkward but he didn't mind. "Rest up, angel." Wrapping his arms around you, he smiled as your chest rose and fell softly along to the rhythm of his own.
