thinking about a whumpee on a forced march through rough terrain
hands tied in front of them, on foot while their captors are mounted, sleeping out in the open, forced to beg for adequate food and water
maybe they're barefoot, a captured royal in silken robes
maybe they're in a torn suit or soldier's uniform
maybe they were stripped at the start, increasing the exposure to the elements, the humiliation
are they a terrified mess from the beginning, or do they try to endure with dignity? how long before they're stumbling, barely putting one foot in front of the other? how long before they fall?
#im particularly thinking about a notorious captain or other commanding officer tbh#his enemies have faced defeat after defeat at his hands and now that they have him they want to make him suffer#they need to travel through the mountains to reach their capitol and -of course- they make him walk the whole way#but then someone suggests taking his boots and someone else suggests stripping him naked#they can't let him -die- before he can be paraded through the streets but they'll get him as close as they can#whump#whump prompt#captive#taken prisoner#forced nudity#nonsexual nudity#military whump#fantasy whump#this also randomly made me think of one of my ye olde whump scenarios#where a small regiment ends up surrounded by the enemy and thwir captain is doing his damndest to keep his men alive#and work out a strategy to retreat#but then the enemy soldiers offer to let the rest go if they turn over their leader and they do without a second thought#so not only is he captured he's also been betrayed and is just trying to keep it together emotionally#to do list#this would also be fun with sahota or any of the crew

Surely this has nothing to do with the car whump excitement of this past week.
This is a universe where Nat breaks down and agrees to spy for Eric. They're required to report back to him about what's going on at work and what the police are planning. In a move of typical bastardice, perhaps Eric picks them up one day unexpectedly and forces them to drive to his lair in his fancy ass car.
They look fine with this, as well as the way that bruise on their shoulder is being pressed into :)

In my efforts to daydream a plausible Mario movie 2 plot out of my favorite Mario game(s), I accidentally discovered Rosalina and count bleck would be KILLER narrative foils

#Robin processes emotions on main#hi yes I came back early. it's in order to process. I needed to like.... spill my guts on the dashboard tonight#IM STRUGGLING..#I have GOT to get a job#just one (1) more visit to a friend this summer and then I will be APPLYING for things again#also I'm having the very devil of a time trying to get myself to contribute to this household. I hate it#I hate that helping out makes me feel like I'm losing my agency—losing myself—like I'm dying every time. I want to be BETTER than this#but I also need to feel like an adult with agency but also I need to BEHAVE like an adult but even just saying that makes me feel nauseous#I need. something. to change. I hate this. I feel selfish and cowardly and I hate feeling selfish and cowardly#I need to . communicate. work something out with my mother so that I stop feeling perpetually behind and ashamed#if I could manage to feel good about chores and not just like I'm scrambling to keep up..... that would..... be... more... motivational#the problem is that I feel unsafe/unstable right now and my instinctive response is to close myself off to all demands#WHICH AS YOU CAN IMAGINE IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO BECOMING MORE STABLE.#demand avoidance makes me bad at contributing to the household AND terrified of applying to jobs and AUGH... AUGH.#I DO BETTER WHEN I LIVE ON MY OWN#living on my own‚ I don't have to deal with the whole soul-crushing horrorshow of negotiating my own emotions about doing chores#chores are GOOD and ENJOYABLE when they're for ME. they're only psychological torture when they're things I do as part of my ''rent''#ok. bedtime. Despite having sired more children than the two she favors, Georgina adores Jade and Floyd in particular because they were the ones who ended up making their way back to her.

Right alongside choosing her husband#//She might not feel the same way if others of her brood tried to come back to her; not after all this time though#//Wouldn't quite have that attachment; certainly not compared to her twins#//She'd be far colder and more detached; if anything; like addressing a stranger in a business meeting#//Cordial; yes; but certainly Not like a mother if that's what they were hoping for#//Her sons' little friends though; her opinion and fondness of THEM is as conditional as she was of her boys' at first meeting#//She will be intrigued and delighted; but how well they hold up to her expectations & keeping her intrigued dictates her overall fondness#//Then genuinely develop a fondness for them the longer she spends with them and learns how to aggravate--I mean find cute little reactions#//She has a startling ability to detach herself from her emotions/fondness of someone; particularly after perceived slights#//Even her husband fears that side of her; not even her precious boys are exempt#//If she feels she's been betrayed; truly betrayed; not the usual shenanigans; she will Not hesitate to retaliate accordingly#//It's why they have more associates than close personal friends; after all

I think it’s probably a case of forgetting about it since it was a year ago or two when someone mentioned this guy on the blog at one point but isn’t the olive oil guy DougDoug? Until I misremembered and might have confused the name with someone else.
Buddy if you think I remember the names of white YouTubers I only really followed for maybe a month maximum, I don’t know what to say other than hi my name is Floofty Owlvid and I didn’t even remember what Billy mays looked like despite seeing him several times for about every ten minutes of television I had on for several years.

not to be gay on main* but at work there's this certain customer type of older usually-artistic-type butch woman who will come in, normally having hit their fifties and be looking for some skincare advice after a lifetime of just good old soap and water, and I get to talk them through all my skincare expertise and get praised for it, and every time one comes in I'm like, ah, turns out I do still have the capacity to fall in love with everyday strangers, good to know

Just realized I made a panel on the last page of the comic I’m making look waaaay too good, and now I gotta go back and revise the previous pages because it’s making them look like dog water in comparison T_T
