ok so he just came back from practice and you've been waiting for him after an entire day of just wanting to be held by him.

he wasn't extremely sweaty, but you could feel the thin layer on his skin when you buried your face into his neck and your arms wrapped around him.

you inhale deeply and close your eyes when you feel his hands on your waist. "babygirl wait, i'm all sweaty." he says with a laugh, but you bury your face further. "don't care, missed you."

you mummer and he picks you up. you legs wrap around his waist as he leads you two to the couch, sitting down. "i missed you more princess, but i should go shower." he says and you pull your face from his neck, looking up at him.

you shake your head, "it's fine, you smell good." to which he laughs at, "good?" you giggle and nod, lifting your hands to pull the black beanie off his head. you run your fingers through his slightly damp hair, admiring his features.

"whatever you say angel." you smile and gently push him down onto his back. your smaller frame lays on top of his and your head lays on his chest, softly smiling up at him. he brushes his hand over your hair, his eyes completely filled with love.

you scoot down his body and slightly to the left, nuzzling into the small space between his arm and his waist. your nose buried into his armpit when you breath in. he laughs again, "baby what are you doing?" he sits up slightly to look down at you.

you don't answer, breathing in his warm scent. you slither your arms under his back, clinging onto him. your voice comes out muffled when you answer, "nothing, stop moving." he gives in and lets you smell him, silently wondering why you enjoyed it so much.

he doesn't question you though, whatever makes his girl happy. once you've pulled away, he smiles down at you. "you done?" you laugh, nuzzling into his chest with a nod. "can we go shower now?"

"mhm." he picks you back up and carry's you to the bathroom.

then you two had a lovely shower, spent cleaning each other off. or getting sweatier, who knows?

aventurine never made it obvious that he’s clingy.

he doesn’t want to be vocal about these things—he wants you to know right away that he wants your affection. a hand to your waist as it gently rubs your hipbone, him burying his face in the crook of your neck all of a sudden, and many more. he doesn’t want to be vocal about these things at all.

it wasn’t like you hated it. in fact, you found it quite adorable that your lover had this side to him. despite being a gambler in… many ways, it was cute how he had such a clingy side to him. although of course, it will always be behind closed doors.

when aventurine came back home to you, he immediately wrapped his arms around you as you felt him mumble into your skin how he’s tired. your hand reaches the nape of his neck as you gently play with the hair in that area. you feel aventurine sigh in relief—who knew that a person like him would end up acting like an exhausted child from the playground when he’s tired? 

“long day?” you asked him. he just mumbles in agreement and you couldn’t help but chuckle at him.

it’s these little moments that reminds you that love is as simple as a comforting hug after a long day.

I read on Twilight's wiki page that Endo always intended on him having a high paying job (like a doctor or a lawyer) and in the end he chose to make Loid a psychiatrist due to his affinity for psychology.

And can I say. Lawyer Loid was such a missed opportunity. So much comedic potential.

Like. you have Loid Forger, notorious in the firm for winning every case that comes across him, due to his clear and concise arguments and knowledge of the law. Then you look at his home life and see that this man can't win an argument against his four six year old daughter. The minute her eyes turn teary he folds so easily. Like. That's comedy gold.

And I feel like on first meeting Yuri would hate him even more. Like, I feel like Yuri's the type of guy who goes, "a defense attorney? AKA a professional liar?" (← is a cop lying to his sister about his job) and his internal monologue just goes, "what does yor see in him? sure, he's handsome, smart, popular in his firm--" [angrily munching on food Loid made him]

And there's news of a murder on several news channels while they're having dinner one day, and the news agency names the suspect and Loid offhandedly goes, "Oh, my firm handled that" (I have to mention my work life for the mission, so they dont suspect I'm anything but a lawyer), and Yor goes, "I don't think a man his height could have done that. Look at the blood splatter. Had to be someone taller" And Loid's looking at her like: 👁️👁️, and Yor fumbles with, "Oh, Yuri used to love those detective shows when we were kids" and Loid's like, "anything you say <3. do you want some more chicken?"

And, logically, if he's assigned to a popular/high-profile enough firm, there's a higher likelihood of him making contact with high-profile businesspeople (sure they have their own legal teams, but for a consultation or something?) rather than a psychiatrist. (Again, my own opinion)

But the only downside is whenever he pulls some medical shit he cant go, "Oh, I learned that in med school" but the natural excuse can be "oh, i was a sergeant, i learned some basic medical knowledge during the war"

Anyway. Lawyer Loid could have been peak comedy.

Oh I LOVE engiespy, especially in cross faction. I love them being passionate to each other in every way: in a battle and in love. Honestly, love them in every scenario, with them being either really flirty and cocky during the battle or tragically loving each from the distance and showing off their slowburn 200k words swag

Biggest fan of Spy mocking and taunting and teasing and seducing Engineer in every way possible. My comfort food if you would say

I want. Four to get appreciation. Because

Four gave a ton of unnoticed help when Twilight was injured

The fight with Wild was difficult, and I know we're all concerned about his negative view of the shadow crystal

But Four did something that no one else really thought of to help- He took care of Twi's stuff

From the beginning he told Twilight to not worry about them

So Four took care of pretty much everything but the others (that Sky and Wars handled)

He took care of Epona

Which is so very important- he took care of Twilight's horse. After her arrival at the stable Four followed up on her

And for Epona, a horse so attached to her human, having some company can help so much for reassurance

He took care of Twilight's stuff

He got Twi's shield- his bags and equipment, and organized it into one place

And he was worried. He obviously found the shadow crystal while handling Twi's stuff, but his negative reactions to it were out of concern.

Also- because of his placement in this scene

I'm fairly convinced Four was ready to start cooking before Wild showed up (since he's beside the counter with food supplies). At the very least he had the basket of fruit out for everyone -but he was literally standing with food behind him- he thought of everything

And he did housekeeping!

Wars payed for the inn, so Four took care of the inn

Realistically these boys were probably not too concerned with tidyness. Four got all of Twi's things on one table, and took care of the room they stayed in

Organizing tables and Twi's things, having food supplies ready, and opening the curtains- overall he was the one tidying up the inn

Four helped in a huge way! He took care of Twi's horse (Epona is so important), his equipment and shield and bag, as well as the other rooms in the inn

Four filled in all the little tasks that others didn't think of. He helped in ways that were needed, but not obvious

There's a lot of problems with the shadow crystal and with Wild, and I don't know what's gonna happen in the future

But don't forget this- don't forget that Four was one who stepped up in an almost unnoticeable way

Don't forget that when everyone was barely holding it together, Four visited Twilight's horse and took care of his things

No matter what develops in the future- this amount of care shown is important ya know?
