Shadow the Hedgehog needs to be treated CAREFULLY. The backlash of Pratt voicing Mario should at the very least be enough to get Paramount to stop and think before they just cast any random fucking celebrity.

the thing about buying things you like instead of the cheapest possible version is that it seems like a capitalist consumerist bullshit but it does actually help. like expressing yourself through the things you have and look at every single day actually do make you happier. having a bath mat with a soft nice texture, having towels in your favourite colour, having plates with a design you really fell in love with. it seems fake that you would derive pleasure from the aesthetics of something , but it really does. you really look at it every day and go wow that makes me so much happier than when I just had a cheap thing. and it's not just for the first five days you own it, it's every day, every month for the next five years, next ten years, the little joy. and you discover this with one thing, and you start trying it with other things, and slowly all the stuff around makes everything just a little bit better, a little more bearable. and you discover that expression of your self is a part of the pyramid of needs for a reason, it's not just something that rich people get to do. it's necessary. it cannot be compromised.

these 3 are the main characters of the au pretty much . after strange and america (who renames herself spangle leapthrough, she enjoys her time in equestria for the most part but strange legitimately cannot stand it. and only begins to warm up by the time they're able to leave [he also refuses to change his name]) they land in a mlp-ified universe where all of the problems seem superficial and a bunch of mcu characters who are dead are still present. they figure out theyre not the only ones who dont belong in the universe though, and *thats* where the real problems come. they try to get as much info on this dangerous cosmic being that threatens the universe theyre in from spellcaster (strange's pony counterpart). and he doesnt want any help, because hes claimed the lonely title of 'being the only one competent enough to stop it'. strange wants to be the one to fix it bc like the worm, theyre not from equestria . so obviously he has to do it. its p much a power struggle between them and its pretty much up to spangle to get legitimate help because spellcaster is insistent they use as little magic as possible (and for good reason bc the worm absorbs residual magic to grow stronger) so that puts a lot of pressure on a lot of ponies who use magic . i thiiiink thats it
