Recently, there have been photos of me and of course, photos of me pregnant that were unintentionally leaked. And that's also the reason why I spoke up about this, (why do I sound so serious, haha) anyway, it's been a while and it's time to share with you guys.

Since you love me, you deserve me to share your joys with you. Yes, I'm pregnant and my baby is 8 months old!! time flies, since the day I announced that I would take a temporary break for a while because I felt OVERWHELM, that actually was the time I wanted to devote all my time to taking care of myself as well as my baby, prepare to be a mommy. Yandere Straw Hat Pirates Headcanons (Platonic)

❝ — 👒 lady l: This is, by far, the biggest headcanon I've ever written and I confess that I'm very satisfied with the result! I hope you like it and forgive me for any mistakes!! ❤️

❝tw: possessive and obsessive behavior, overprotection, unhealthy platonic relationships, and implied murder.

❝👒pairing: platonic!yandere straw hat pirates x gender neutral!reader.

The Straw Hats are a really different crew of pirates than the rest. There is no direct hierarchy between them, they respect each other and have affection for each other. Although they obey their captain, there is no tyranny between them but genuine friendship and care.

You were a resident of a small and little-known island in the East Blue, it wasn't really important or rich, so pirate activity was very uncommon there and you were grateful for that. Having grown up and taught that pirates are bad and everyone is a murderer and thieve, you had no desire to meet one.

You were a very calm person and lived humbly and peacefully and liked the way your life was. Until the day pirates arrived on your island. You were immediately alarmed, as were the other residents by their arrival, except that they were not ordinary pirates but the Straw Hats and your life took an unexpected turn.

They arrived and, contrary to the stories your parents told you, they didn't seem threatening or murderous but rather good people. This caught your attention and you were kind to them and even offered them food. Little did you know, that was your biggest mistake.

Their captain, Monkey D. Luffy, found himself attracted to you and he knew he wanted you to join his crew. When you politely declined the offer, he was determined to convince you to accept. He met with the other members and they all agreed with him.

It wasn't easy to get you to accept becoming a pirate, considering you never liked them, but you found yourself attracted to the offer. The idea of being completely free and being able to see the world was what made you accept, albeit reluctantly, Luffy's offer. You have officially become a member of the Straw Hats.

Monkey D. Luffy is very charismatic and funny, kind and a great friend. You adored him and respected him as your captain. Luffy was so pleasant to be around that you never really observed him closely as his actions are quite selfish towards you.

He is selfless, but Luffy still has a selfish side and doesn't want to share his attention with anyone. He is not possessive, but controlling. Luffy wants to know everything about you, where you're going, who you're with and what you've done. He demands to know and will get angry if he doesn't know. Luffy watches over you a lot, not only as your captain, but as his friend. He just wants to make sure that you are happy and satisfied with your friends and, most importantly, with yourself.

Roronoa Zoro, although a little more distant, has a troubled affection for you. He's not close and has that air of arrogance around you, which made you think he doesn't like you. But the truth is that he doesn't know how to deal with you, with the feelings he has. So he thinks it's best to stay away, fearing for his own sanity.

But Zoro can't do it. He wants to be close to you and he will, his main reason is when he feels jealous of your closeness to the rest. He doesn't want to be left aside, so he decides to become close to you. Zoro is possessive and arrogant, he wants to be preferred and feels jealous when someone steals his attention. He's not very easy to deal with, but Zoro knows how to be nice when he wants to be. He is very overprotective and will fight anyone to protect you, including his own friends.

Nami is relaxed and fun, she likes to take you to have fun with her, usually to drink. She is very persuasive and manipulative, you can hardly say no to her. Nami is cunning and doesn't usually get into fights, preferring to let her friends get involved, but for you, she won't care and will get into fights to protect you.

She wants to be your favorite, your number one and the one you go to for comfort or guidance. Nami is very worried about you and cares a lot about your well-being, she gets easily upset when you are sad or angry, and will take satisfaction from anyone who hurt you. However, she will not recognize if she is the cause.

Usopp is very anxious and insecure, although he tries his best not to show it, there is no denying that he feels very bad about himself often and will count on you to pull himself together. He is very sentimental and is easily hurt and will be furious if it is you who hurt him, but will become unbearable if someone makes you sad.

He loses his cool very easily and cries so easily it's ridiculous and Usopp will always go to you for comfort. He values you so much and it will get to the point where he will pretend to be sad just to receive any form of affection from you, he lives for that. He has no qualms about lying to have you hug him or whisper words of comfort to him.

Sanji is calm and rational, always very polite and it is very rare to see him lose his calm. He is very careful around you and loves to load you up with food, cooking your favorites and prioritizing you at every meal. Sanji is very nice and always makes you laugh, loving to hear you laugh or smile. He makes you feel comfortable around him, with his unwavering politeness and calm.

He never acts without thinking and everything he does is carefully planned, especially when it's about you. Sanji is the one who takes care of you the most and is always checking up on you, whether it's listening to you talk or watching you, he never fails and is always calm and smiling. Although he is very kind, Sanji will have no problem having to deal with anyone who dares to harm or hurt you.

Tony Tony Chopper is very kind and attached to you, more than he is to Nami. He is very shy at first, preferring to hide and watch you from afar, fascinated by you but afraid to get closer. He loves to imitate you and takes care of you, especially when you are hurt and need medical attention, often freaking out before realizing he is a doctor.

He is a great friend, very fair and loyal, constantly following you and making sure you are well and comfortable. Although he doesn't feel as comfortable with humans, the affection and care he feels for you is undeniable. He smiles and dances happily when he is praised by you.

Franky loves to flirt with you and does it constantly, even if he is just joking. He loves showing off for you and does it very often, going shirtless around you and trying to get your attention. Franky is a spirit and loves breaking the rules and will try to convince you to break them with him, he is always encouraging you to do what you want without caring what you think.

Although he acts this way, Franky is very protective and kind towards you and knows when to act maturely around you and is always trying to make you smile because he loves your smile. He takes great care of you and is selfless to the extreme, always putting himself first when you are in danger. Franky wants you to be well and happy and he will go to extreme lengths to make sure you are safe and happy.

Brook is eccentric and a shameless pervert and he flirts and hits on you more than anyone and feels no shame or regret in doing so. However, he truly enjoys your company and is kind to you, always prioritizing your wants and needs above anyone else's. He despises meanness and will go against anyone who is mean or acts wrong towards you.

He is very fair and compassionate towards everyone, but when it comes to you, there is an obvious preference and care. Brook is very polite, but he has his limits and will become furious if something happens to you. He has his morals and is empathetic, but that quickly changes when you get involved.

Robin is the calmest of the crew, always calm and reserved, it's impossible to know what she's thinking and she's not as open or transparent as the others. She rarely shows her emotions and this reflects on the way she acts towards you. Robin is very calm in her obsession and no one will be able to notice what she feels for you, her feelings are very well disguised and controlled.

It's very rare to see her lose her cool or get angry and when that happens, everyone gets scared. Robin has become less calm after meeting you and she, although reserved about her feelings, will make a point of taking care of you and showing you all the care and affection she can offer you.

Jinbe is very proud to be a fishman and has great honor. He hates pirates, even though he is one. He has mixed feelings for you, he admires you but hates the fact that you're a pirate and doesn't usually spend so much time by your side, but he cares deeply for you in his own way.

He is not dangerous and will never hurt you or show any violence towards you, he wants to take care of you and will do so in any way he can. Jinbe is very kind and tries his best to make you happy.

Hey, I'm glad you're back. I love your posts and always wait for them. Your opinions and all the knowledge you share here has been extremely helpful for me personally who new to AO3. So wanted to thank you for that.

I wanted to say that I write for a relatively huge fandom with many ships and characters and nearly all of them are popular. Even rare ships will have their own fanbase. But my own fics are not about ships. I love the dynamic of 2-3 characters and write mostly about them in the 'Gen' category because I don't see the potential of sexual relationships in them. Also because it'll be incestuous. I have no problem with that but I'm not thrilled about writing or reading it.

Fics on these characters as ships get more engagement and more readers than General ones do. I read somewhere that Gen fics always get less engagement than the ship-y ones which made me realize that no matter how hard I work on my stories and no matter how much effort I put into writing them it'll never get readers. The only regular reader I have is a friend who isn't in the fandom but reads my stuff because she understands how hard it is to write and not get even miniscule amount of response. It's disheartening at best to put your heart and soul into something and be met with cold silence on the other side like you've done something wrong. :(

While it's certainly true that Gen fics often get less attention than fics that focus on relationships, it's also true that there are people out there who are desperate for them and so grateful for the few that they see posted.

I think it also varies from fandom to fandom, and even from trope to trope.

I don't know if this is the case for you, but I've seen Gen fics on AO3 before that didn't have any relationships tagged. If you're someone who posts like that, I recommend adding in some & relationships. A&B indicates a friendship or a mentor/student relationship or colleagues etc as opposed to romance or sex. For people who like the dynamic between character A and character B, they might be quite happy to read a fic focusing on their friendship too.

It's always important to remember that popular fics are just that: popular. They might or might not be objectively "good". They might or might not be creative or well-written or even coherent. There's just something about them that strikes a chord with a group of people in that moment.

The way this author made the story of the Scarlet Pumpenel fit in mdzs is, in my opinion, masterful. The arranged marriage is built on devastating misunderstanding after devastating misunderstanding, but the identity shenanigans are so fun! Other highlights include Jiang sect love and wangxian adopting not only A-Yuan but MXY as well. So much fun and an epic adventure! @gentil-minou

"Enemies to lovers" has important distinction categories, and depending on how you want your audience to feel about the end result of the couple, there has to be some kind of internal logic to support it.

If you want the end goal to be "they live happily and love each other and support each other," then the audience needs to be given reasons to believe that the couple would be ultimately compatible, even if they started out grating on each other. Maybe it's because I've hit my thirties, but every time I read or watch a story that has a couple who continues to fight and lie to each other, while in the same breath we're told they want to commit to each other forever, I start rooting for a breakup.

To clarify, I'm totally on board with characters who despise each other and still want to fuck nasty -- I just also want the writing to reflect that the relationship dynamic isn't trying to pretend to be something else; I never want the characters' actions to be excused because "love conquers all."

I love when writers/directors/actors pull off chemistry in antagonism, not just the horny kind but also a hint of believability that these characters won't just get along despite their personalities initially conflicting, but because they'll eventually see the ways they're similar and compliment each other.

This brought to you by having the Red, White, & Royal Blue movie on in the background -- and look I knoooow there's a lot of conflicting feelings about this story from very many angles, but bear with me because it has one very short interaction that I feel like packs the punch of what I'm talking about:

When Alex and Henry are being interviewed and pretending to be friends, they start purposefully trying to annoy each other. Alex lies about Henry loving to rap, and in a great narrative choice Henry doesn't contradict him. It would have been so easy to write Henry a line where he fake laughs and says "oooh, this guy, always teasing me." But instead he continues the bit with a perfect "yes, and" and builds onto the mythos of their fake friendship that Alex does a perfect Barbra Streisand impression. We're shown quickly and clearly that they have the same sense of humor, and the same way of expressing it. In this case they're trying to be antagonistic, but the way they bounce off each other sets the groundwork for being able to see how, in the future, they could be having the exact same interaction with the result being shared laughter instead of annoyance.

The strongest happy-ending-oriented "enemies to lovers" stories imo don't require characters to change core parts of themselves or force themselves into a relationship. They require the characters to change their perspectives on each other so that every retrospective antagonistic scene holds the capacity for love that was veiled in misunderstanding.

Only Friends: Ray's Feelings for Mew (Mistaking Gratitude for Love)

This is just the first of many things I want to address from this episode. Episode 4 really helped clarify to me what Ray's feelings are towards Mew and why it's extremely difficult for him to let go. The way this was narratively framed was so beautifully done.

Ray's wish to repay Mew

Ray's feelings for Mew are complex because they're partly fuelled by admiration and respect for his character, but overwhelmingly driven by gratitude. Ray attributes Mew to saving his life. For pulling him back from the brink. That's something he's never going to forget. It's also the reason he'll be eternally grateful. There's no means by which he can ever repay Mew, and therefore his form of appreciation is by offering love. Mew deserves his undying loyalty and support.

The thing is, Ray may be mistaking that immense outpouring of gratitude for love, because he's not able to differentiate the nuances. Having felt unloved for most of his life, it's unsurprising that Ray may interpret care and concern as a form of love. Mew has said things such as, "I'll never abandon you", "I'm always right by your side" but he didn't mean it as a partner, but as a friend.

Mew wants what's best for his friend. He wants Ray to find happiness in someone who is right for him. He doesn't want Ray to continue pining after him when he doesn't and can't return his feelings. He's very transparent about that. He gives Ray his full blessing to seek someone far more suitable.

But Ray has effectively trapped himself in a box because no one is ever going to compare against the person who saved your life. No one can meet that extraordinary standard. So Ray is completely unable to see anyone else as worthy in his eyes.

(!) I really appreciate that we get a deeper explanation for why Ray had to take Mew's call last episode. Because he made a promise that if Mew ever needed him, he would answer. No questions asked.

Sand teaches Ray an important lesson

The heart-to-heart in the guitar shop really highlights just why Sand is such an important influence on Ray. When Ray encourages a scolding, Sand doesn't take the bait. Because doing so is not going to teach Ray anything. Sand wants Ray to understand why his behaviour is hurtful..

Sand patiently explains that if you truly appreciate someone, you have to care about their feelings. You can't act on your own desires. Those around you do not exist to complement your every whim and will. Should you expect such a thing, you're taking them for granted and prioritising only yourself.

This lesson can be applied in direct response to how Ray treated Mew. He tried to kiss Mew without his consent. Mew is clearly not okay with this, and yet Ray still acted on what he wanted.

If you disregard someone else's feelings, (especially someone you supposedly care about), that's not true love. Love should be selfless. Love means wanting the best for someone else, regardless of your own motivations. If Ray truly cared about Mew, he wouldn't be trying to make a move on him, especially considering he now has a boyfriend.

This is also a really unfair position to put Mew in. If Ray continues to ignore Mew’s boundaries, he’ll be forced to distance himself and he doesn’t want their friendship to be the sacrifice. This is why it’s so incredibly essential that Ray listens because he risks losing Mew altogether this way.

Just because someone is willing to treat you with kindness and grace, does not mean you should exploit that. Ever. And this is one characteristic where Mew and Sand do share something in common. They are patient with Ray. They make concessions for him but when pushed, they will school him on right from wrong. A higher tolerance doesn’t mean there aren’t limits.

When one door closes, another opens

Ray begins to realise that the position he's always held for Mew in his heart is not necessarily the same that Mew has for him. And it's a difficult truth to swallow, but it's the first step to respecting the other person's wishes.

"But right now, I don't think I'm that important to him anymore." Sometimes we can be reluctant to let go of feelings for someone, because doing so means leaving behind a version of ourselves. It's a form of loss.

I think what's stopped Ray from fully accepting this sooner, is because he hasn't understood that saying goodbye to those feelings doesn't mean he's losing Mew entirely. Neither is it a betrayal of that gratitude. Regardless of what role Mew now plays in his life, that won't change that Mew did for him in the past. Mew is still willing to be his best friend if Ray is open to accepting that instead. He now seems ready to try.

Ray once again notices Sand's presence. The 'poor boy' t-shirt hanging in the bathroom, which alike Sand has somehow ended up along with him, and hasn't left since. The immediate next scene opens with Sand saying "just try". This represents the meaning Sand brings to Ray's world. 'Just try to take a chance. Just try to understand. Just try to be more open-minded. Just try to be more considerate. Just try, and people will see your sincerity'. Sand is opening up the world for Ray, to see things from a different perspective. A world of possibilities beyond just Mew.

Whilst being blindsided by his feelings for Mew, Ray hasn't allowed himself to see what's in front of him. Someone whose wandered into his life, who is worth his time and attention.

i mostly just share my anecdotes to get a little giggle here and there, but i'm absolutely overjoyed to know they're resonating with other slightly-older-than-usual freshmen out there. i'm actually getting bachelor's #2 and just starting from scratch because my first one wasn't a STEM degree, but even if this was my first go-round, there'd be absolutely no shame in it.

being a fish in your 20s is nothing in the grand scheme of things. my mom kept trying to go back to school, and being forced by external circumstances to drop out again, for YEARS. she only finally got her bachelor's in art at age 55 and she had a blast doing it. all her classmates and professors were wonderfully supportive.

thank you so much for this message. more than feeling normal, the most important thing you can feel is grateful. you're very, very lucky to be in college no matter what age you're at. make the most of your time there, build strong friendships, and remember to appreciate all the fun crazy quirks of college life!!

Too Sweet - Chapter 7: Whiskey Neat

The days leading up to Sara's wedding flew by, and now we were on the day of her bachelorette party. Her apartment was filled with a vibrant atmosphere of anticipation as we helped her get ready. Ellie and I had planned a special night out at a club to celebrate the end of her single life.

As Sara got ready, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement. She was radiant, and her happiness was contagious. As we helped with the final touches to her look, we shared memories and fun moments we had shared together over the years. It was amazing to see our friend about to take this important step in her life.

When Sara was ready, we headed out together towards the club, eager for the night ahead. The place was buzzing, with colorful lights and pulsating music. Sara was warmly welcomed by her friends, and the party started with an emotional toast to friendship and love.

The night was a true celebration, and Sara shone like the star of the evening. Ellie had invited Dina, who was a lovely addition to the group. Her positive energy and contagious smile added even more joy to the celebration. Amidst laughter, lively conversations, and plenty of drinks, the mood was one of pure relaxation and fun.

Ellie was at the bar with Dina, her smile contagious as she noticed my glances. She raised the glass of whisky in her hand in a friendly gesture, inviting me to join them. Her eyes sparkled with a mix of joy and camaraderie, and I instantly felt welcomed by her warm hospitality.

"How are things with Jesse?" I asked, looking at Dina with curiosity.

Dina smiled, her eyes shining with love and enthusiasm. "They're going really well, thanks for asking," she replied. "Actually, we're planning to move in together soon. Do you know any realtors?"

My heart filled with joy upon hearing Dina's good news. "That's wonderful!" I exclaimed, genuinely happy for her. "I'm so happy for you both. And as for the realtor, I can look into it and give you some recommendations soon."

As we danced on the dance floor, the early hours of the morning quickly approached. Sara, already quite lively and somewhat intoxicated, laughed and played without a care in the world. Ellie held me close to her, and I could feel the comforting warmth of her embrace.

"I think this bachelorette party was really great, don't you?" Ellie commented as she held me close to her. I buried my head in her neck and agreed with her. She smelled of something sweet and pure whiskey. "Do you want to spend the night at my place?"

"It would be great to spend the night at your place," I replied, appreciating the idea of continuing this memorable night alongside Ellie. The prospect of more laughter, conversations, and shared moments filled me with joy, and I knew this would be a night to remember.

The cool night breeze caressed our faces as Ellie held my hand, guiding us out of the club. Under the starlight, we waited for the taxi to arrive, enveloped in a comforting embrace.

Our hearts still pulsated with the energy of the party, and I felt grateful to have Ellie by my side, sharing this special experience. Her touch was comforting, and I allowed myself to sink even deeper into her embrace as we waited.

As the taxi approached, Ellie opened the door, and together we settled into the back seat. The warmth of the vehicle contrasted with the nighttime breeze, but Ellie's embrace continued to keep me warm.

this is so much more than just a cup of tea for me. i want for time to stop, so i can read this again infinite times, i want this story permanently tattooed in my brain and flowing through my veins.

your writing is showstoping and phenomenal!!

i'm a sucker for good dialogue and you have outdone everyone there is to outdo. i'm so serious when i say this changed my life last night!!

today i'm going through it again and collecting my favourite moments (listed below) and i need you to know that this is such a perfectly written story in every way and i'm so grateful you decided to share it with the world.

here's a list of my favourite moments and dialogue lines (probably incomplete, because i truly believe i will find many more when i read this again and again in the future)

the first interaction is such a perfect opening for the story, love it!! (bonus - the little "got you" in italics, aldhsksjs)

"Hyunjin gapes at your retreating figure for so long that phosphenes start prancing around his field of view. Then he heads to the gym. His heart is pounding against his ribs like a battering ram." aaaaaaaaaaaa

coach bang. just in general. everything he does and says is incredible

"Nothing is the first answer that comes to mind, but Hyunjin’s pulse spikes like a lie detector. Upon the inside of his eyes replays a scene of a certain someone with watermelon bangs doing teleportation jutsu at him from a few yards away, wearing a smile made of some kind of space dust that astronomists haven’t discovered yet." i was screaming in my pillow

"“But hope is hungry, and it will consume you if you let it,” he says. “Do not let it, Hyunjin. I’m not asking.”"

"“I miss when you didn’t come to class, Seungmin.”"

"“It’s not labor, dumbass! Ask our last manager! He didn’t do shit!” “Yeah? Who was your last manager?” “Me!”"

"Hyunjin mouths the words tape me in baffled silence. The latter obliges your request with a smile. “See? What could go wrong?”" the whole banter and proximity during this scene, oh my!!

the whole phone call scene, alahskadjk, i had to stop after every two sentences and scream at the ceiling, especially after "“Baby,” he interrupts gently. “Let’s stop here, okay? You seem tired.”"

and don't get me started on "“But I do give a fuck about you.”"

"“Do you want to be alone?”"

the whole interaction in the gym is so, so great and sweet, and delicate it hurts!!

and the conversation between seungmin and hyunjin is so important to me. the realness of the friendsip and a fun bonus of their backstory, loved it soooo much!!

"It’s not awkward this time." STOP

yeah, just seungmin and hyunjin's friendship in general!!

"Tendrils of your body spray reach him from here, floral and light like a tropical coastline. He could’ve counted your eyelashes—if he didn’t have something far better to do." the parallels to the intro aahhh

and the parallel with coach and captain as well, i'm in love!!

"I realized I couldn’t care less if you’re my tutor or my team manager or whatever—I just don’t want you to be a stranger. Maybe that’s selfish of me to say, but I’m tired of pretending the idea of losing you doesn’t terrify me. It does. It truly fucking does." unreal, such a perfect ending!!

i don't have enough words in my vocabulary to express why this story is so amazing and important to me, but it's so delicate and real and incredible. it means more to me than you'll ever know!!

[not-so-mundane-after-all]

I have never loved a fictional family more than I love them 💜💙🖤💚 and trying to express just how much I love them, my mind comes out blank. Because there's not enough words in any language to explain how important these characters had become to me in the past 4 years. But more about that tomorrow.

This is the first time in my life as a fangirl that I have been this involved and invested in a fandom. First time I've made such wonderful friends in the online space, first time I've felt like I've finally belonged somewhere. So, with less than a day until the end of this beautiful journey, I just want to say, thank you.

For the laughs. The inside jokes. The screaming and plotting and crying. For the art, the gifs, the fics, every bit of creative genius this show had pulled from us. For the late hours I've spent laughing at my phone so hard my cheeks hurt and for the days a paragraph in a fic made me scream into my pillow. For taking the time reading what I've written and all the biggest and the smallest reviews left under it. For the cheers and pettiness and genius minds thinking alike. For the good days and the bad days. For everything and more.

You've made my time in this fandom so special. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Just like our beloved family, we found each other and created something incredible. Our own little family. We stayed strong through thick and thin. And I'm sobbing as I'm writing this but I feel so so so grateful. I wish I could gather you all in one room and hug you all.
