his velocity was intense. they moaned as he came first. he always came first. he was filed with a heat so great every bone in his body aches. their moans woke the neighbors and he just laughed. feeling his desire seep into his skin. they were not just lovers. their connection was deeper than love. it was in the acceptance of pain. the expectations they couldn’t handle. no amount of banter==mostly defensive on his part would change his mind. he would later admit how he could express his pure instinct with a longing ache that poured out of him. every pore ached.  but before that, they filled each other up, in every physical and psychological way.  two matching cups but their differences gleamed. he knew his elation was no match for his bias. his shame haunted him every day. he was roused suddenly from his nap from his lame reality. he was gone. his mind lying to his face. they cried in unison. It was 10 years since Ro died. Of course he needed that love, it was the most pure emotion he ever came in contact with. he spasmed with sobs. without Ro his life was empty. his void shined like a pearl. that pearl was Ro. comforting him in his arms when he couldn't face his family assumptions. Or politics. Yikes. Politics were tough because although they unconsciously agreed his values were different. They had to be. He couldn’t be the shiny optimist. He had always survived. There was no room for anything else. He would lose himself to Apathy over and over. His Salmon was gone. his stupid don’t eat the eggs they’ll kill you concern. what did it matter if he died? what did he have to live for?

We live in a society that has high expectations. If we have a job and are earning money, people want to know what job we have so they can judge our abilities and determine weather we’re clever. If we attend university, people want to know what we study so they can judge our intelligence and if we don’t graduate with a first or a 2:1 then people are quick to judge. I’ve noticed a trend and that is ‘people’. Why is it we live in a community to impress ‘people’? Why can’t we live to impress ourselves for a change? Instead of trying to live up to this societies expectations! Before doing anything we must ask ourselves, Am I happy doing this? Will I be happy when I’ve done?
