Marinette wears her dress from Representation (5.24) while Zoé wears a ranch/cowgirl/farwest-themed suit and a hat.

Each girl holds a makeup on the face: Marinette has a star on the cheek, Zoé has a red nose (not blood) and a red circle on her cheek (that reminds a clown).

I just finished watching the rest of Miraculous (S6???? ep 15-26)

I HAVE SO MUCH ON MY MIND OMG, so I will put a collective of all my thoughts in this tiny device. Maybe a few AU’s here and there, but mainly thought dumps.

First… WE COULD HAVE HAD ZOÉNETTE???? Like Zoé and Mari? I can see it now! Zoé and Mari holding hands as they walk off into the distance with Adrien in the background with this face;

No but srsly, it would have been so funny to see the ship, the show had been egging on for years, to be completely disregarded and tossed aside.

I would draw that vision, but alas, I CANNOT DRAW PEOPLE 😭

Tbf, Zoé and Mari actually make sense. Or Zoe’s side of the affection anyway. Marinette had helped her realize that nobody would treat her like garbage, aside from Chloé, there in Pari. All she ever did was respect Zoé. That’s enough to have someone’s adoration (see what I did there? ;>) …probably.

Anyway, Hawk-Moth… This dude… I love villains, believe me, I do, but I don’t like Gabes. He’s been bested by two/a team of teenagers too many times, and even when he’s so close to victory, SO CLOSE, he fails. again, and again, and again! I like Lila more because she actually commits to the role of the villain. Gabes is better when it comes to not villainy.

ONTO THE COOLER…NESS. Now, I suppose you all (or whoever is reading this) understand how the Miraculous of the Snake works. The ability to go back to an exact moment in time with Second Chance.

Now, what if that power had… a consequence? For instance, Ladybug had gotten hit and her wildest dream had been revealed. When Luka used Second Chance, it sent him back, yes, but what if it created a whole nother world? What if anytime Second Chance is used, it creates another world for another possibility? Meaning that the old world, the world Ladybug’s identity was revealed, has its own story after Second Chance is used. As well as the world where Cat Noir’s identity was revealed.

So then what happens to the holder? I’d say that their consciousness is transferred to the new world, which is how they retain their information. Well, what happens to their bodies? Hard to say, but maybe their consciousness is replaced and they’re forced to de-transform. Or maybe Second Chance doesn’t work when tried again.

I see an AU that goes like this—Luka opens his eyes only to see Marinette still living her wildest dreams. He used Second Chance already. Why didn’t time rewind? He sees the dreams man aiming for Cat Noir, and swiftly saves him. They run away and hide in the sewers. Luka tries again and again, but Second Chance won’t work. They both de-transform and Sass explains to Luka why Second Chance won’t work, or rather, it did, but Luka wasn’t transferred to the new reality, all while Adrien is gapping over the fact that Mari is LB. Second Chance won’t work even if he transforms again.

The two of them now have to face the “live your wildest dreams” man without Second Chance, or the Luck of the Ladybug. Can they do it?

The Miraculous of the Ladybug still exists, it’s just that dream man has it.

Will I write it? Probably not. It’d be very cool to see someone else’s take on such an AU. Plus writing block.

I’d much rather draw about it. ALAS, I CANNOT DRAW PEOPLE. 😭😭😭😭😭

I might just have to write it, the more I think about it, the more ideas I get. CURSES.

Anyway, for the last episode, I was really rooting for Bug Noir to end Gabes. 🙄

There’s so many things I want to talk about, but those things have been long forgotten, and I need to find something else to do before I die of boredom.

The Zoénette "confession" was cute, but they didn't even let her flat out say it, she just gave Marinette a Look™, and after a moment, Marinette realized. I'm not looking forward to homophobes (and dubs) bending over backward to try and claim that she doesn't actually have a crush on *gasp* a WOMAN. I myself am sort of an "until it's explicitly stated, I'll take it with a grain of salt" kind of person, but the hoops some people jump through, I swear...

Chloénette can either result from Marinette's villain arc or Chloé's redemption arc, neither of which are arcs I necessarily want to see. Especially if Chloé would treat an actual significant other with the same entitlement as she does Adrien. They both act stupid over the same boy, isn't that hilarious/messed up (pick whichever is applicable to each instance)?

Luka and Zoé, One-Sided Zoénette, Background Adrienette: Window (One-Shot)

@mrsleeeeeeung requested LukZoé...but I headcanon Zoé as lesbian, so it’s a platonic interaction, but I hope you guys enjoy it anyway.

Summary: Seeing Adrien with the woman she loves gets to be too much for Zoé. As someone who can relate to Zoé’s situation, Luka lends an ear and shares some advice.

Zoé kept her smile pasted on as she slowly sank back into the shadows, breaking off from the rest of the group.

She slipped away silently, fighting to keep the tears at bay until she made it to the safety of the upper deck of the Liberty, away from prying eyes and the happiness of her friends.

Only once she was there did she let her cheery façade fall.

She’d always known that Marinette loved Adrien. She’d even gone so far as to help in the girls’ elaborate schemes to help Marinette confess, but Zoé had never thought anything would come of it.

Now, seeing Adrien sitting on Marinette’s lap, his arms wrapped around her neck as he gazed at her in open adoration…it was too much for her.

She could almost hear her heart crunch inside her chest like the shards of a shattered car window.

She sank to her knees and rested her forehead against the lower railing, letting the cool metal tether her to the present.

She couldn’t let herself get akumatized. Then they’d all know her secret, and the very thought of Marinette coming up to her afterwards and apologizing for not realizing and telling Zoé how much Marinette valued her friendship was just…so much worse than the sucking pain in her chest in that moment.

She had to keep it together.

“Hey,” a soft voice called apprehensively. “You okay?”

Zoé’s head whipped around, and she spied Luka standing awkwardly by the corner of the ping pong table.

Luka winced when he saw the steady stream of tears marching down Zoé’s cheeks. “Sorry. Stupid question. Obviously, you’re not okay. I knew that when I saw you leave, but…”

He blew out a slow exhale and cautiously approached.

“Is it okay if I sit with you? We don’t have to talk or anything, but you don’t look like you should be alone right now.”

He sat on the deck beside her, pillowing his arms on the lower railing as his legs dangled over the side of the boat.

Zoé forced herself to swallow as she hastily wiped away her tears with both palms. “It’s nothing, really. I’m just…being really stupid.”

“Feelings aren’t stupid, even if they are illogical,” Luka responded with calm certainty.

She blinked at him.

“Even if your feelings aren’t rational, they’re still valid,” he added, looking out at the city thoughtfully, avoiding her gaze so that she wouldn’t feel self-conscious about her frazzled state.

She gulped again. “…I don’t know why I ever thought I stood a chance against Adrien Agreste. I don’t know why I thought Marinette would eventually get over him and finally see me beside her.”

Luka nodded. “Mood. Unfortunately, I can relate intimately with that sentiment. Though, I never expected her to completely forget about Adrien. It was okay for her to still love him so long as she loved me too, but…”

He winced and turned to give her a sheepish smile. “Sorry. I don’t mean to make it about me.”

“No. Go on,” she encouraged. “How did you…? How did you learn to be okay? Like…how do I watch Adrien hang all over her and not feel like there’s a giant glass shard impaled in my chest?”

Luka pursed his lips and thought for a moment. “…Well, I don’t know if this method will be effective for you, but I think about what a good person Adrien is, how much I adore him, how happy he makes Marinette. I love her, so I want her to be happy. He’s the one who makes her happy, so…”

Zoé untucked her legs from underneath her and draped them over the side of the boat. She scooted in closer to Luka, folding her arms on top of the railing and resting her chin on top.

“How do you get over the fact that it’s him, not you, who makes her happy?”

“I do make her happy,” Luka chuckled ironically. “I make her happy by accepting that she picked him. I make her happy by supporting them. I make her happy by not causing drama within her friend group and making people choose sides.”

Zoé’s brow crumpled up into a web of furrows. “So, I just swallow down my feelings until I choke on them?”

He shook his head. “Never suppress your feelings. It’s okay to feel them. Just…try to reframe your thoughts. When you start thinking ‘I don’t get to be Marinette’s girlfriend’, try to think instead, ‘I get to be Marinette’s trusted friend’. Try to focus on the good.”

Zoé blew out a long sigh as her gaze dropped down into the Seine. “That’s hard, though.”

Luka nodded. “Yes. Yes, it is. I didn’t say I had an easy, three-step plan. You asked me how I did it, and I told you.”

He bit his lip and cast a sidelong look at her. “…Just give it time. Feel your feelings, but don’t drown in them. Try to focus on the positives, but if you’re not feeling it, give yourself permission to grieve. Take it one day at a time…and, if you ever need to talk, you have my number.”

She looked up at him in surprise.

“If you feel comfortable talking to me,” he hurriedly added. “I don’t know how helpful I’ve been, but—”

“—Very helpful!” she rushed to assure. “I’ll definitely call you if I need to talk. If you don’t mind, of course.”

He gave her a warm smile. “I’m always happy to talk.”

Slowly, a tentative grin began to tug at the corners of her lips. “Thank you, Luka. I…Thank you for coming after me and talking me down.”

She leaned in and pressed a light kiss to his cheek. “You’re really awesome.”

His expression turned surprised for a moment before quickly returning to open and friendly. “You’re very welcome. …So…if you don’t mind me asking, are you bi, or…?”

“Lesbian,” she replied with a blush, looking back down at her lap.

“Cool, cool,” he responded with a nod. “Well, my sister is taken, but do you know Kagami Tsurugi?”

Zoé perked up. “We’ve met a few times, but I haven’t gotten the opportunity to talk to her much.”

Luka nodded. “Well, I can give you her number if you don’t already have it. She’s an amazing, strong, passionate woman who just so happens to be single.”

Zoé’s cheeks colored slightly. “She seems cool. Do you think she’d be into me?”

Luka shrugged. “Maybe. It’s hard to get past her shell, but once you do, she’s your sworn friend for life. I don’t advocate rebounding, but spending time with attractive people when you’re feeling down does wonders, so…”

“That might not be a bad idea,” Zoé reasoned, imagining meeting up with Kagami for brunch and going for a walk in the Parc Monceau.

She turned to Luka and gave him a bright smile. “Thank you so much!”

“Sure thing,” he replied with a wink. “What’s that saying? Whenever a door shuts, a window opens? Maybe this isn’t an ending but a new beginning.”

Zoé shook her head. “I’m not so sure I believe in your Romantic view of things…but it would be nice if you were right. …Give me Kagami’s number. I’m interested in seeing where this goes.”
