Zeff is ready to kill them all but Patty says they can work for their forgiveness and puts them in the dishpit.

It's good for them, they're working through a lot of things and Zeff keeps making them push back against him verbally. They're...healing, but they need more but at least they're also developing some skills that can help them in their pursuit. Over time, maybe about a year ish later they decide to find Sanji. To go apologize, they won't ask for forgiveness, it's not something they deserve but he needs to their regret, their sorrow, their change. For them to be like him like their mother wanted. Following the Strawhats is a challenge and Zeff warned them about it though. He gives them his lot of the Grand Line, a log post, and demands letters. They agree as Reiju stays with Zeff. "I was ignoring you because everytime I look at you I think of last night, I think of all the pretty noises you made when you were under me, and if you have a problem with that then you should keep it your fucking pants shit cook," Sanji could feel his face heat up at the words coming from Marimos lips. I may have even mentioned my dream of finding the All blue. A storm grew in intensity as the pirates attacked, I ended up being swept overboard. Zeff dove in after me, we washed up on delset rock with no plant life, no animals and no way to fish. It was just us and two bags, zeff gave me the smaller of two bags telling me that it holds five days worth of food unless I rashion it carefully. Told me to stay on the other side of the island and don't bother him until I see a ship," Sanji was grateful that Zoro remained quiet the entire story, the rest of the crew was busy doing their own thing without paying them any mind. Luffy wouldn't care about his past, Ussop would try and one up him with a wild story too awkward to know what to say, and he wouldn't wish to burden Nami with his past. "I managed to make the food last twenty-five days, of course it was moldy and awful but it was food. I would drink rainwater from puddles on the ground. Then the day came when I ran out of food, I sat there and stared at the vast ocean hoping to see a ship. Just as I was about to give up I remembered something, the guy had a larger bag then I did, I was determined to kill if I had to. When I made my way to his side of the island I saw he still had a full bag. I was so angry and desperate. He didn't even bother to turn around, only asking if I saw a ship. I ignored him and cut the bag open. Only gold and treasure spilled out, it was no surprise that he let me get that far,"

"How did he survive if he didn't have any food," Zoro asked. Finally speaking, Sanji let go of his hair that he had been unknowingly clutching. It was a bad habit of his that he needed to quit before the others figured it out before any of them could figure just how weak he truly was.

As Broggy and Dorry began their fight, Luffy watched in awe from the ground, with Vivi and Karoo bearing the sonicwave.

"H-he blocked the blow with his helmet!" Usopp exclaimed from his, Venus, and Nami's place by Broggy's home. "If he was off by even an inch, he would've died instantly!" Dorry escaped a slash, which only cut some strands from his long beard, and shoved his weapon into Broggy's. "What a fight; each of their attacks is a mortal blow aimed at the opponent's vital point!"

"Wow," Venus watched with him.

"Those two have continued this duel to the death for 100 years?" Nami remarked, then smiled with relief. "But this is good; we can use this opportunity to get out of here." She began to walk away, dragging Venus with her, but stopped upon noticing that he wasn't moving an inch. "Usopp?"

"Incredible..." '"Reason? I don't remember."' He recalled Broggy's words. "Even without a reason, they're fighting so seriously."

"This fight sure is a bother," Nami frowned, before getting startled by Venus yanking her arm out of her grip.

"You idiot!" Usopp protested, still not moving away, as Venus sat on the log to watch. "This is what people mean by a real battle between men!"

Nami stared in surprise. "What's that about?"

"To use an analogy, those two fly a warrior's flag in their heart. This flag is even more important their life. In no way do they want it to be destroyed by others. "That's Usopp, Nami, and Venus!" Luffy beamed to the princess. "Hah! They said they wouldn't get off the ship, but they really do like adventures after all!"

They all glanced up at a screeching pterodactyl flying by. "By the way, Dorry-san, does it really take a year for the Log to be stored?" Vivi asked worriedly.

"Didn't you notice the human skulls lying around?" Dorry responded with another question. "Those who come to this island die before the Log is stored in most cases. Some become dinosaurs' food. Some suffer from heat and starvation. Some others are killed because they attack us. They all die... it seems that one year on this island is too long for humans."

Vivi's hands balled into fists in her lap. "What're we gonna do? Even if we could survive for a year, if that much time passes, I don't know what will happen to my country by then."

"Yeah," Luffy agreed, "I'd get bored too, if we stay here for a year. Isn't there a good way, old guy?"

"Come to think of it, there was someone who left before the Log was stored," Dorry recalled.

"What happened to him?" Luffy asked, as Vivi tensed up.

"He must've gotten to the next island."

"That must be it!"

Karoo was stifling laughter, before he flinched fearfully; Vivi was getting angrier by the second. 'What's so funny?' She glared, as they laughed together. 'I can't understand what they're thinking!'

Karoo was already running away. "Let's get out of here now!" Vivi urged. "It's probably no use saying anything to him!"

"It's probably no use, even if we run." Luffy took off his treasured straw hat, and held it out to her. "Hold this, and stay back."

"Don't tell me! Are you going to fight?"

Luffy cracked his fingers. "I feel bad to do this to the old guy, but I'll quiet him down."

"Both of you, stop! Please!" Vivi pleaded. "Dorry-san, please listen! We really don't know anything about it! Anything about the alcohol that exploded! So please don't fight!" They continued staring daggers at one another. "You have to stay calm! Your insides are in bad shape right now!"

Dorry lifted his sword. "How dare you... do something so insolent!"

Luffy jumped away to avoid being crushed, before running up with the sword as leverage, and leaped in the air. "Gum-Gum...!" He prepared an attack, but was sent crashing back to the ground from Dorry's shield. He reached deep into the jungle, grabbed one of the trees, and launched himself away before he could get hit. Dorry coughed up blood, as Luffy flew off. "Gum-Gum...!" He prepared to go back in. 'I'm sorry.' "Rocket!!" He headbutted Dorry's stomach; but just as he seemed out of commission, his eyes reopened, and to Vivi and Karoo's horror, he stomped on him like a bug, as he recovered.

"Luffy-san!!" Vivi screamed.

Dorry panted through the pain. "So he has... the powers of a Devil Fruit." He fell to his knees. "I underestimated... him." After coughing up more blood, he collapsed face-down on the ground, sending shockwaves quaking throughout. A panting Luffy sat up, and turned to the giant. He wasn't moving.

"Luffy-san!" Vivi ran to him in concern, hat in hand. "Are you all right?"

He turned to her. "How's the old guy?"

"He's probably okay," She replied, "This is actually good. Otherwise, he wouldn't have calmed down."

He put his hat back on. "I'm angry!"

"What?"

"Like the old guy said, this alcohol explosion isn't the act of the other giant, and my friends would never do a stupid thing like this!"

"Then who on Earth..."

"There's someone else, on this island."

"Games are heavily influenced by people's state of mind," Mr. 3 said through pouring tea, "They are confused right now, by the cryptic bomb from an invisible enemy." He gave the teacups to Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine. "First, about our first target, Dorry the Blue Ogre; I knew it was impossible to finish him, but the damage he received to his stomach still must've been quite large. Now, we can drink some tea, and wait for the next duel to start."

"So we'll let the other giant take care of the injured giant, huh?" Mr. 5 guessed.

"That's right."

"That's quite a roundabout way of doing things," He remarked after a sip.

"The Warrior species are the same as wild boars, after all. We don't have to fight seriously, when they're only good at going head-on, since even if we can't win power-wise, we have brains to make up for it." Mr. 3 chuckled evilly, before sensing he was being stared at. It was Ms. Golden Week, who sat at the window without making a sound. He tried to ignore her, but her eyes bore into him. "Geez, get it yourself, Ms. Golden Week," He griped, handing the teacup over.

"By the way, what're we going to do with the Straw Hat gang?"

Mr. 3 turned to Mr. 5. "Straw Hat?" In realization, his top knot straightened up like an exclamation point. "Oh yeah, the small fries that found out the boss' secrets. Well, we can just lure them out one by one, starting with whoever's convenient to my "secret set." My motto is "big crimes via cheap tricks." There're many ways to defeat enemies without actually fighting."

Ms. Golden Week held out her empty teacup. "Mr. 3, refill please."

"Hey, me too," Mr. 5 requested.

"You guys!" Mr. 3 raged. "Take time to savor it!"

"Ah!" Luffy, Vivi, and Karoo turned to the volcano when it suddenly erupted, several times.

"That mountain is, if I'm not mistaken..."

"This isn't good," Zoro remarked, "I'm running out of time." When he stepped on something hard, he stopped and looked down; it was a baby triceratops. "Ah, sorry." He drew his foot away, only for it to bite his shoe. "Ahh! Let it go!" He tried to wave it off. "I said I'm sorry! Hey!" He didn't realize he was being watched through the struggle. "I don't have time to mess around! Let it go!"

"The time out signal has rung," Sanji observed disappointedly, "Having no prey isn't even funny. Damn." In a tree behind him, a saber-toothed tiger was watching ominously.

"There's the signal," Broggy pointed out to Usopp and the girls, "It's quite active today."

"You're going?!" Usopp asked in surprise. "Your wounds from that last battle still haven't-"

Broggy held out his axe in determination. "It's nothing! We're both in the same condition!" He had no idea how wrong he was. He laughed, as Usopp gulped. "Making excuses during a merciless fight to the death would spoil my name!"

Elsewhere, a pained Dorry pushed himself on his knees, not giving up. "Hey! Wait, old guy!" Luffy called. "Don't go!"

"You can't go, Dorry-san!" Vivi urged. "You need to keep still! You'll die if you push yourself too hard!"

"I, Warrior Dorry, am here... at the very least," He coughed up more blood, "I will fight to uphold the name of Elbaf!" He regained his footing, as the three could only watch.

The frustrating thing about being a One Piece fan is the whole notion of "I don't want to watch a show that takes 200 episodes to get good" like. Yeah. Neither would I. One Piece starts being good when Luffy jumps out the barrel and stops being good when you stop watching. It's just that we as fans are really bad at selling why we stayed with One Piece until its grip over us was so strong that we start complaining 1000 episodes just isn't long enough, so here's my helpful guide on how to convince your friends to try:

Step 1: don't push. Above all else remember, if you force someone to do something against their will, they'll be against it even if it's something they end up liking. Do you really want to taint the series for someone before they even start? Of course not. By all means, talk about it, say you think they'd like it, be excited, just don't force them to start it as well. If ever you're suggesting it, make sure it stays a suggestion, an invitation, and of they say no, accept that. You can still bring it up later, but because you're passionate and would love to see them enjoy it too.

Step 2: Avoid anything after Arlong Park. This sounds a little weird, but it's actually not to do with spoiler concerns! Because we've been with the series a while, it's easy to lose perspective on how long it takes to get to some stuff. I once saw someone try to persuade a friend by explaining Wano to them, a cool 850 chapters into the story. If that works, then yeah cool they're watching, but they just want to get to "the good stuff" you sold them on. Keep your sales pitches to the early content, how cool those early arcs are, because people usually make the choice to hard commit to One Piece around Arlong Park, so if they see the great moments there, then they can have fun with the whole new world of possibilities. If you're watching with them and they don't mind spoilers, point out some of the world details. "Oh that hypnotist, if you look during his flash back then you can see he hypnotized Axehand Morgan to make him think he's a hero!" Or "oh yeah Sanji still calls Zeff his dad like 700 episodes later even to his birth dad." Or just cry when they get the Going Merry that's usually pretty dramatic. That said, talking about your emotional reactions to later stuff is fine! Such as seeing the Merry and just saying "Not even kidding, they made me cry over that boat" because you did. We all did.

Step 3: Answer questions. If they ask you something, don't be afraid to answer! If someone's interested enough to ask (particularly if you're mid infodump) then that's something they want to know more of! Probably preface it with a "Do you mind spoilers?" But do answer it. If they say no, that's fine because they get more info. If they say yes, it's because they're thinking about watching.

Step 4: Know what your friends like. This is true of recommending anything, but if your friends have a particular taste, One Piece probably has something for them provided it's not hardcore horror or straight up porn. Simply put, everyone laughs, everyone cries, everyone has a favourite colour. Do they like cool guys fighting? Zoro uses three swords and the first time he does it he stops like 10 people in their tracks! Do they like a female character with depth and nuance? Just point out that Nami has good reasons for everything she does, and that her complex history is still relevant much later (namely in Fishman island but shhh). No matter the types of characters they like, there will eventually be a Strawhat they'd love. Speaking of which, don't spoil moments sure, but talk about future characters all you want. The 9 foot tall skeleton with an afro? Sure! The cyborg powered by cola? Why not!? Remember, sell a moment, and it eventually passes. Sell a character, and you're selling everything that character ever does.

Step 5: Just one shot. If your friend is on the fence, then hit them with the final big deal; just to the end of Arlong Park. You don't even have to go through everything, just start at Arlong Park as a taster. For some this is sacrilege, how dare you skip? Well it's like I said, the moment you know if you care is in Arlong Park, specifically Nami finally asking for help for most. Show your friend that full arc, up to Luffy defeating Arlong. This is where the other points come in, because naturally a tonne of questions will arise. "Why is Zoro beat up like that?" He fought the best swordsman in the world and nearly died! "Why does Usopp's nose so long?" He's a liar! "Why is Luffy so hellbent on helping this girl? She's so mean to him!" Because he decided she's his friend and she's too traumatised to trust people! Now, this is where an exception arises: if they ask something that's coming up, then maybe instead of a direct answer, try "Let's find out" or something similar. But if it's urgent that they need to know (such as for triggers or anything) just answer them immediately. Remember your friends boundaries and respect them. If they like the arc, then they now have a lot more stuff they've not seen so they can fully understand it, or keep going! If you do keep going though, remember to explain the important points they missed (namely Koby, how they got the Merry, the fight with Mihawk and Baratie). But remember, if they don't want to go back, let them continue. They're excited to keep going! Don't halt the momentum now, especially with all the good stuff coming up.

Chapter 193 - Utopia

Nami declares that she doesn’t mind if the female member of Team Large is a pain in the foot, and kills her using birds.

Meanwhile, what Mr. Zero wanted was power. Obviously. This kingdom has something scary in it, which is the only reason Mr. Zero even cared.

Oh yeah, and Zoro is also fighting a sword. Zoro says that winning this battle will earn him enough EXP to level up.

Chapter 194 - Cutting Steel

Huh? The sword’s not even Lufpy yet he can do his fingers like that? What a freak...

In the past, Zoro gets disappointed at his mentor’s inability to remove pages themselves from the very pages within which those pages exist. Jeez, Zoro’s standards are way too high...

In the present, Zoro starts listing off cool things he’s not planning on doing while casually lifting a house. ...Oh, wait, he actually IS planning on doing them. He’s just too shy to let anyone see.

Chapter 195 - Mr. Bushido

Zoro throws the house and turns it into cubes! Just like that one anime director. Then he fights the sword some more. I don’t know what the cubes had to do with anything.

The sword does that Kars thing where his arm which is a sword is way too spinny to classify as a sword, let alone an arm.

Zoro gets thrown at a pillar, then the next attack against him destroys the pillar. Continuing the JoJo metaphor, it’s kind of like Zoro is a frog.

“And now that everything around me IS eerily silent rather than NOT being eerily silent, I am continuing to have this feeling!” That’s what Zoro says next.

Zoro demonstrates that he has the inherent Sword Wielder Power to notice all objects. Because he can notice whatever, he can now destroy it. Therefore he wins

Lufpy and Mr. Zero are doing a fight where Lufpy actually has a chance of winning. Lufpy also has an extreme version of one of those beer can hats for Ultimate Winning.

Mr. Zero says that if Lufpy can’t pull off a Donkey Kong-style victory, he’ll surely lose. Lufpy decides to keep him guessing by destroying any chance he had of pulling off a Donkey Kong-style victory, instead activating Water Balloon Mode from Kirby and the Forgotten Land and giving himself the possibility of a Kirby-style victory.

Chapter 201 - Nico Robin

Oh, this is the Nico Robin chapter? The famous Nico Robin from One Piece? Maybe this actually WAS a better chapter to end on than 200.

He is speaking like he knows he is going to die and he is scared when he hears about mihawk because he didn't expect to be so unprepared. Death is coming for him earlier that it should LIKE IT DID TO KUINA but spoiler... He gets to live because of his ambition GIVEN BY KUINA it's like a double edged sword. Kuina made you ambitious enough to die for your promise to her but that promise is going to make you live enough to see it.

This is actually so good and the fact this influences sanji to go after his dream like damn. Interlaced together since sanji was introduced

Zoro about to die for his dreams and what does sanji say? Give up your dreams if they will cost you your life. Because that's exactly the example he has since zeff stopped being a pirate to save sanji's life... But that's not the takeaway my boy.... Zeff wants you to go after your dream

I don't even need to translate anything here but Luffy understood zeff since the beginning and he didn't hear one word from him. And sanji's hard fucking head had to be told by like 15 different people to leave and still just left bc he thought he wasn't wanted anymore there. Where do you think they would live after their journeys are over and what would they be doing(marriage,kids,career)?

I guess with "they" you mean the Strawhats? This goes kind of hand in hand with my posting about "death flags" and why I think all the Strawhats are going to survive.

Some things in this post will mirror what I wrote back then XD because of course I'm using headcanons here. So let's get down to it! ATTENTION THIS IS HEADCANON AREA!!

Let's assume they all survive and become old.

Luffy: He will never stop adventuring. He might say that he will finally settle down but that just means that he crushes for a week or two at a friends place and then drags them back into some adventuring until he is at the next friends place and stays there a few more weeks or months to then move again.

Will Luffy have a family and kids? Who knows. If yes he will return from time to time. If not... see above.

Nami: She will finish her world map. When it's done she will stop adventuring and will settle down, maybe alone maybe with a wife or a husband. Depending she will have her own child... she will absolutely adopt. In her house will always be a place for abandoned children.

Nami will regularly rip Luffy a new one for continuing to adventure and dragging in some of the children. But honestly what are they supposed to do? Not become pirates?

Actually yes, some become Marines in the honor of Bellemere.

Nami also takes it on her to be the manager of Brook because he is still famous with a lot of fans and she enjoys to have an additional safe income.

Some become Orange farmers, some become cartographs. Nami is equally proud of all of them.

Zoro: He returns home to the island where he grew up and becomes a teacher. He is surprisingly good at it. It does not matter if his students are boys or girls they all get the same treatment.

He might have a partner later in life. It takes him some time to figure himself out. Depending on the partner it takes them some time too.

There won't be any children though. I don't see him as a father but he has a whole school of children to influence... which is does not really do. He does not care what path they choose as long as it's the path of the sword.

(ngl I have written a fanfiction about that. it's ZoTash though, so sorry if that is not your cup of tea)

Usopp: He returns home. He has become a great warrior of the sea. He tells Kaya all the stories, while she patches him up. They marry and while Kaya becomes a famous doctor, Usopp will take care of the children. And he will be a great dad and not abandom them. (Sorry, this is fix. I don't make the rules. I just make the headcanons)

Okay, there might be another partner. Because either way Usopp will continue to build, construct, create.

Maybe he will write down his stories and illustrate them, first for his children (adopted if with a male partner), later they are printed and sold and get more famous than "Noland the liar" also because of his alternate version of this old classic.

Sanji: He will return to the Baratie. He has found the All Blue. Of course he becomes a world famous chef and the high society will dine at his place.

He feeds all hungry people who knock at his door and tells them to pay when they got the money. Some never return but most do.

He himself did not return with a partner but later a person appears and they fall in love (could be someone new, could be someone from his adventures or even a crew member). Since the Baratie is a ship they can move it anywhere so in case the partner is returning to their hometown too, at least the restaurant is nearby. No matter what gender his partner has in the end, women will always have a special place in his heart. And whenever he needs oranges for his food he orders them from Nojiko.

His place is Luffys favorite to crash.

Chopper: He becomes - of course - a famous doctor who manages to create the ultimate medicine. If it's possible. But it still takes him long. He does correspond with many other doctors, Law, Marco, Kaya. The one thing he never manages to heal is Zoros sense of direction.

And yes Chopper starts a family with the Reindee-Mink-Girl from Zou. They weren't sure if they would be able to have children but they made it work. Very cute bunch of Mink children.

Doc Kureha for some reason does not really age she just becomes more awesome and would never admit it but she is very proud of Chopper.

Robin: There is only one answer and that is that she stays with Franky. They visit Water 7 and help Iceburg to make the city float. They then return to Ohara and rebuild the island. It will become the new hub for scholars and they get visited by everyone very often.

They love all of the other Strawhats children and support them.

I can't decide if they have their own or if they adopt too or don't have children at all but they have a lot of apprentices so it does not really matter.

They are married and in love and amazing.

Sorry that is my headcanon and I haven't found any other that changed that yet.

Brook of course meets with Laboon and the whale now travels with him. Brook will also accompany Luffy because he sees himself always at the side of his captain and saviour. There are only short amounts of time when they don't travel together.

He also continues to perfom as Soul King Brook, earning easy money, recording songs on dials and selling them.

Sadly, Brook will survive all Strawhats. And he will be the one staying with every one of them in their last moments. When they all have died he stays in Ohara because he is walking and talking history and knows that Robin would appreciate it if he did that.

Because he knows that he is - in theory - immortal he also does not get himself a partner. At one point a skeleton heart can only break so many times.

Jinbe returns to Fishman Island where he helps to bring peace to the fishmen. He will be an ambassador. He keeps close connections to all the other Strawhats.

When he finally steps off the political stage he gets himself a little cottage near the underwater woods and a small garden for him to relax in. He never gets a partner because to me he still gives off those single-uncle vibes the children love because he is just so relaxed and calm, easily calming everyone around him too. He also visites everyone on a regular base.

That night, the Strawhats were at a bar celebrating Zoro’s 23th birthday. Sanji didn’t want to make cake for him, but Nami asked him very nicely. Brook and Franky sang him songs, and Usopp made him a present. The young man was having fun, surrounded by the people he loved, and even the cook wasn’t being annoying. He was feeling thankful.

— Maybe you’re going to meet your soulmate this year. — Robin smiled.

— Soulmate? — the green haired man raised an eyebrow, not knowing what she was talking about. He was very dense about things like that. — What do you mean?

— When the youngest soulmate turns 23, they switch bodies. And the only way to fix it and switch back is kissing. Not simply kissing, but kissing after falling in love. — she giggled. — Isn’t it fun?

— No! I would hate to be in someone else’s body for who knows how long. And if I don’t fall in love, I’ll never go back to my body.

— Well, mosshead, I don’t think you falling in love would be the problem. — Sanji interrupted the chat. — But someone falling in love with you is impossible.

Even though it was Zoro’s birthday, the two of them couldn’t stay without fighting for 24 hours anyway. Meanwhile, you were having a sleepover at your house with a couple of your best friends. You were drinking some wine, talking about your love life, and hearing your friend’s story about when she met her soulmate. The story about when they met, when they kissed and switched back. It sounded so magical, you couldn’t wait to meet yours.

The next morning, you woke up and stretched before opening your eyes. The house was noisy, more than the usual, and the place smelled so good, like someone was making food. Which was weird since your friends never really made breakfast after a sleepover.

Opening your eyes, you looked around and noticed this wasn’t your room, and the people sleeping there definitely weren’t your friends. For some reason, you felt like you couldn’t see well. Also, the chest with scars and the calloused hands weren’t yours. The portholes made you realize it was a ship. Looking at the people sleeping, they didn’t look like marines, nor had any uniforms in sight. So your soulmate was a pirate! Which was very exciting.

All you could feel was genuine happiness when you realized it your soulmate! You finally switched bodies with him. After years imagining how it’d be and how they looked like, it finally happened.

You got up trying not to wake the others, and went to try to find a mirror as soon as possible, wanting to see every detail of this man. You already knew he had strong arms and a toned chest, but you wanted to see his face.

While heading to the bathroom, you saw a blonde man. Since he was apparently a crewmate, you smiled and greeted him.

— Good morning. — you said, walking trying to find a bathroom before the cook could even answer. Sanji was speechless by Zoro being suddenly polite and waking up earlier than everyone else, that he didn’t even have an answer on the tip of his tongue like he usually does.

You finally found a mirror in the large bathroom. The place was beautiful, not the way you expected a pirate ship to look like.

The reflection showed a green haired man, tanned skin, wearing three earrings on his left ear, the man also had a scar over his left eye, which was closed. He looked intimidating in a good way, if that makes any sense. Damn, that man was good looking.

You traced the scars on his chest slowly, wondering how he got it. You only imagined the stories he could tell you after switching back.

— Marimo, are you going to be there forever? — a knock on the door made you jump. — This bathroom isn’t only yours.

You opened the door and saw the same man from earlier. Giving him an apologetic smile, you made your way out of the room.

— I’m so sorry, I was already leaving.

A few minutes later, everyone started to wake up. During breakfast, you tried to keep as quiet as possible, sweating whenever the cook stared at you as if something suspicious was going on. Should you tell him about what was happening?

— Hey, Zoro, why aren’t you drinking your sake yet? — a boy with a long nose asked you, tilting his head to the side.

— Isn’t it too early to drink that? — you raised an eyebrow. Did your soulmate really drink that early in the morning?

When you asked that, everyone went silent, except the boy with the strawhat, who kept eating everything from his plate and from other plates too. Their eyes were wide, and mouth hanged open.

— Zoro, are you feeling sick? — a cute raccoon asked you. When you saw him talking for the first time, your heart stopped, but everyone on this ship acted as if it was natural. — You usually don’t refuse to drink.

— I’m okay, but thank you. — you smiled, patting the animal’s head.

While finishing your meal, you heard the crew whispering talking to each other while staring at you. It felt awkward, but you tried to act as normal as possible.

— I didn’t think Zoro would find his soulmate so soon. — Robin said. — That was fast. What’s your name? — she asked, looking at you.

When you told him about where you lived, you realized it’d take around two days to arrive. It was frustrating, but you spent a lifetime waiting, two days are nothing compared to that. You took this time to get to know the crew better, while everyone kept telling you stories about Zoro.

He was a strong swordsman, who always got lost and liked to drink sake. He took many naps and spent the rest of the time practicing. Everyone said nice things about the man, except Sanji. Apparently they fought a lot.

And then the day was finally there, and you could see your town from far. The crew decided to go with you trying to find Zoro, since he probably went out and got lost. You gave a few descriptions about your appearance so they’d know who they’d be looking for.

Walking in front of a forest, you spotted your figure walking. It was your soulmate, who was lost. He was cussing and walking in circles.

— Hey! — you said, smiling and waving, getting his attention. — Found you!

— Ah, I guess you’re my soulmate. — he walked towards you. — I was taking a walk but… This forest wasn’t here before, I don’t know what happened.

You couldn’t help laughing, he wasn’t joking though. He really believed the trees popped out of nowhere like magic, and that’s why he couldn’t find his way back. The two of you went silent, a comfortable silent, just looking at each other.

— My friend explained about soulmates and all… So we can… Try to switch back now, if you want. — he looked away, trying to hide the fact he was extremely flustered.

— Yes, we can. — you bit your lip, cheeks feeling warmer. — I guess we’re alone here, so it’s a good time now.

You closed your eyes and waited for him to make a move. Zoro didn’t have much experience with this, but he wanted to impress you anyway. So his hands gently held your face, while he pulled you into a kiss. A gentle peck that became a little sloppy kiss, you tried to make him follow your movements. He took the hint and finally it felt like your lips were perfectly for each other.

Opening your eyes, you saw your soulmate. His half lidded eyes, and a slight smile on his lips. He looked so good, and cute at the same time. Without any warning, you claimed his lips one more time. The man was caught off guard.

While walking around trying to find the others, you two started to actually talk to know each other.

— Hey, Zoro... — you said, getting his attention. — When did you fall for me?

— Well, I'm not the best with this kind of stuff, but when I saw the swords in your room, I knew the universe brought me the right soulmate.

Okay but- Acesan estabilished relatonship in Single Dad!Mihawk AU?

Like, the Strawhats meet the Cross Guild, and no one besides Sanji and Zoro (bc he stayed in Kuraigana for 2 years) knows Mihawk is Sanji's dad. Sabo and Ace are going to see Luffy and the crew like they hace been planning (Ace also wants to see his boyfriend), and finds the Strawhats witg the Cross Guild (they're... confused, to say the least).

Crocodile and Buggy intent to ignore them and decide to go their way, but Mihawk stays (almost everyone is kinda nervous about this), he's silent for some minutes until he says: "Good to see you Roronoa, and how are you, Sanji?". And as if everyone isn't already surprised by him knowing 'Hawkeye', Sanji replies with one: "I'm alright, dad".

And boom, there's chaos. The Strawhats are asking a thousand questions to Sanji and Ace is processing the fact that his boyfriend is DRACULE MIHAWK'S SON.

When everyone thinks everything calmed down, Luffy asks "Ace, don't you knew Sanji was Mihawk's son? You're his boyfriend"

Well, this isn't a information Dracule was expecting. (I just want to see, like, a 'family dinner' with Mihawk, Sanji and the ASL - Ace kinda nervous, of course)

I've been looking at this for a while trying to think of how to respond because Golden is vastly different. I'm definitely down for a Single Dad!Mihawk pt 2 Ace Lives AU. I haven't posted much about it or the concept of it at all so.

Sanji and Ace, who have been dating since Alabasta at least. Like at some point after the time skip and post Wano ASL all plan to meet on Karai Bari probably cuz Mihawk wants to test Zoro or something. Mihawk also just wants to actually see his son so ya know? Also he absolutely has not seen Sanji since he almost bisected Zoro.

So yeah Ace and Sabo show up as they're making landfall to Karai Bari and after a brief talk with the chairman and the lieutenants Buggy and Croc leave and Mihawk is just inspecting them all. He's probably trying to gauge their power when Zoro's like "where's 'Rona?"

And Mihawk explains she went back to Moria rather nonchalantly and then Zoro quickly catches Mihawk who nods and then looks to Sanji who is like "what?" And Mihawk is like "and how have you been?" And Sanji, whose brain to mouth filter is gone for the moment, "well I'm not starving on a rock with Zeff so I think I'm good dad"

Zoro is gripping his sides laughing as everyone else is catching up while Ace is still blue screened. There is so much yelling. So much. Mihawk groans because he expected it, he did, but it's so much noisier than what he's used to. Even Buggy and Crocodile fighting every day should have made him used to the noise, and Perona and Roronoa before that, doesn't make it easier.

And then yeah, Luffy would say some dumb shit like which causes Ace, who has just started to come back around to blue screen again. He shouldn't be scared, he was the second division commander(or still is? First division maybe? Is he a strawhat? You decide!) He had a war fought over him specifically. He fought Germa to save his boyfriend! He's fought admirals and vice admirals and was raised by mountain bandits and Garp, he isn't scared but his boyfriend, Sanji, the love of his life and light of his life is Dracule Mihawk's son? Like what the actual fuck and then he watches Mihawk blink as Sanji lights a cigarette off of his own foot and Ace goes "I know! I go to prison and he disappears for two years and can do that and sky walk!"

Mihawk looks to Sanji and is like really? And Sanji points out that he told Mihawk he wanted to learn to fly when he was eleven after Marco flew him around Kuraigana as a reward when Marco came to check on the hand he broke training Sanji with swords. The hand that freaked Mihawk out because it healed in two weeks. And Chopper nods solemnly "youve always healed freakishly fast, after seeing Germa it makes sense"

And Luffy talks about the fact that Sanji broke his back and fought the next day and was fine. Sanji points out Zoro tried to cut off his feet on the island before that. Luffy says he stabbed himself in the face. Mihawk is looking at the monster trio before Koala and Nami say in tandem that when the brothers are together it is worse. Mihawk agrees to have dinner with them all and he's catching up with Jinbei who asks him why he didn't betray at Marineford and Mihawk gestures at the island which makes Sanji ask about Kuraigana. Turns out the Marines are trying to take it over.

"Trying" being the key word. Sanji and Zoro nod. Ace is like "why didn't you tell me?" And Sanji just gestures between him and Mihawk and asks if anyone would have believed him. Zoro says not before training under Mihawk. Jinbei says their humor is very similar. Then Ace asks about Marco and the broken hand which Sabo and Luffy are climbing Ace to hear about and Mihawk tells them about how he had just started training Sanji in haki then a few days later White Beard pulls Sanji out of hiding space and sent him into a PTSD attack. Sanji nods over the stove as he cooks and then tells the story of Mihawk breaking his hand.

Like when they're in town at the Doctor and he says it's fine? But it's not fine? It was broken in several places? Mihawk felt awful and Yoru screamed at him the entire time. And when Marco checked on him after Mihawk called in the favor cuz he scared the fuck out of his son and when Marco was checking him over he looked at Mihawk and double checked that he broke Sanji's hand, triple checked even. And then later he flew Sanji around and Marco laughed at Mihawk for how pale he went even though he's already translucent.

Sabo and Luffy are laughing, Ace really wants to join them but that's his boyfriend's dad. The Greatest Swordsman Alive is his boyfriend's dad. He's terrified. But as Sanji starts to get ready to serve Luffy is trapped by hands and Ace goes to help Sanji and Koala sits on Sabo to keep him distracted.

"Luffy will try to steal your food, he doesn't care, no matter how much I feed him or how often." Sanji says as he and Ace start setting plates in front of people.

"The exact opposite of you then." Mihawk says.

"Okay well, we don't need to get into that. Look at who I date and my captain, trust me. It's fine." Sanji assures the man who just eyes him. "Judge is alive, worry about that." And Luffy is whining so when they're all sat with plates Mihawk watches first hand how Luffy eats, Sabo eats like he's on a mission as well. Ace probably had manners beat into him by Deuce, Marco, and Makino so at least there's that. Mihawk expertly evades Luffy where as his crew and brothers and Koala will stab Luffy in the hands.

Sanji makes Zoro help with dishes since he trained for two years under and they're just gonna be washing dishes. Luffy asks what Sanji was like on Kuraigana and Mihawk answers. Leaves out most of the trauma healing they had to work on. Ace probably doesn't know the extent. Sanji's scars were faded by the time he was thirteen. And the Nami says she thought Sanji would be taller after seeing his birth family and Mihawk cocks a brow as Sanji tenses slightly.

"That is something Sanji will discuss if he so chooses. Bear in mind Luffy is the grandson of Garp and son of Dragon and he's not their height. He may still grow." Mihawk points out.

When dishes are done they filter out at some point it's just Ace and Mihawk. Luffy is probably already begging for food or dessert or something. Sabo is talking with Jinbei but keeping an eye on Ace and Mihawk.

"So are you going to give me a shovel talk or something?" Ace asks.

"I don't necessarily see the need." Mihawk answers. "Unless you want me to threaten you?"

"No, no, it's okay." Ace quickly assures a hand on his neck. "I just wish he told me about you."

"I'm sure you feel the same way about Germa as well." Mihawk says and Ace nods. "Never told me the name of his country, once in a great while would tell me something vague about his family. I couldn't risk having someone take him. It took a lot of work to get him here."

Ace nods again as they watch the crew and Mihawk chats idly with some members who aren't afraid to talk to him.

"So if I married Sanji-"

"Don't push your luck."

Monster trio + Law with S/O who loves taking pictures of lightning

@ye-rin164​ asked :  i was thinking that if its possible for your write either a scenario or a HC ( what makes you comfortable) about The Monster Trio+ Law having an S/O who's into Storms Chasing, like she has the hobby of capturing awesome pics during thunderstorm and especially for lightings, like she never gets scared of going out on this bad weather just to admire it and get good pics, so maybe like once the gentlemen's happens to be free and wanted to know more about how she usually take these awesome pics , and once they see how she risky gets in danger just for a picture they get worried but she's like nothing happened its an awesome adventurous experience so they'd later feel proud about it👁️👄👁️

Zoro, Sanji, Law under the cut!

MONKEY D LUFFY

Oh my god! That’s so cool Y/N!!!

Luffy would be so damn smitten by your hobby of taking pictures of the lightning.

He’d be so impressed to see you in action and would crave for more of it!

He’d take your hobby to a next level and would jump with you in his arms towards the lightning. Yes he’d never let anything happen to you though. The man likes to be in risky situations always.

He’d be the absolute partner for the photography session for you!

Once he took you so close that his hair and your hair stood up because of the close range, indicating a lightning was about to hit you two.

Then the lightning struck you two, but Luffy was there to shield you and protect you! He is a rubber man after all. The lightning would have ZERO effect on him.

You’d inspect for any wounds but he’d give you a grin and say that he is totally fine and lightning had no effect on him.

After that you and Luffy definitely got a lecture from the Navigator and the snipper. Luffy even got some kicks and punches as he almost risked your life.

But you knew you could trust Luffy with your whole heart. That was one of the reason why, you got the absolute best capture of lightning ever.

RORONOA ZORO

“Don’t go too far away! Wait for me! OYE Y/N!”

He’d become the overprotective boyfriend because of your interest in this hobby.

He’d be proud of the way you are being so daring while taking photos, but he’d also be worried because of the way you just go towards the lightning to take photos.

One day, Zoro thought it’d be great to take a nap as the weather was nice and sunny. After some time he woke up to the sound of thunder.

“What the hell?! it was all sunny just a while ago”, he’d think and would look for you, but you weren’t there, also your camera was missing. He suspected something like this would happen so he’d run in the rain looking at the lightning.

Then he’d find you taking pictures with your camera. He’d see how happy you’d look as you took pictures. Making him stop in his tracks.

Trust me, Zoro would forget that he should scold you for leaving without him. But… he’d just look at you. Mesmerised by the way you again run after the lightning.

What?! Running after the lightning again!!! His senses would come back after a while and would come to you and throw you over his shoulder and run away before the lightning hits you.

Zoro would run in the speed of another lightning with you still dangling on his shoulder. But you’d still get amazing shots of lightning anyway. In the way, if a lightning was about to hit, he’d repel the lightning away with a strong blow using his swords.

You never doubted Zoro’s skills and scenes like this made you to appreciate him even more!

“Nice one Zoro!”

“Hehe thank- IDIOT LETS LEAVE!!”, he’d still blush like a baby at your compliments.

These risky situations only made you people to fall in love even more and would stay memorable for you two!

BLACK LEG SANJI

“My dear its dangerous so, Let me prote- Y/N! LET ME COME WITH YOU!!!”

He is really impressed by your hobby but would be terrified as hell because of the way you risk everything to take photos of the lightning.

For Sanji your hobby is amazing too. If he sees the pictures of the lightning you took, he’d be hella proud of you.

Ussop would never hear the end of how amazing your pictures are.

Sanji even brags about you with Zoro saying, “Hey moss head, did you see the pictures Y/N took the other day. You bet your ass, can’t even click one picture properly. Look at my love, so talented”.

Even though Sanji was proud of you, he would still be a bit scared. He tried to put on a brave front by saying he’d protect you, but his insecurities would make him think otherwise.

One day as he got to know that there was going to be a thunder storm. He started to look for you and you were already ahead of him. He asked that he want to come with you and you agreed.

As you take pictures, he would keep an eye on you and the thunder storm. Making sure it’s not getting bad.

Sanji loves to watch you as you take pictures. You seem excited and totally focused on your hobby.

You wouldn’t care about the rain drenching you head to toe. But Sanji was definitely worried about your health.

He gulped every time you look at your picture as you see it after clicking a picture. His heart started to beat faster, its like seeing you for the first time again for Sanji.

You were like an angel to him. No one could be compared to you. You are the one who seemed more beautiful than the nature herself to him.

In between his thoughts about you, he forgot to notice the thunder storm getting bad.

“Oh no! We have to go Y/N come with me”

He’d carry you like a bride and sky walk in an instant to get to safety. As he was doing that, you got the perfect angel from the sky to capture the most perfect you could.

As you both reached a safer area, you showed him the picture and jump on him to hug him. He blushed like hell that time.

“Thankyou Sanji!! I couldn’t have gotten this picture if you didn’t sky walk with me. Thankyou”, you said as you went closer to him and wiped the blood dripping from his nose.

Damn he thought and he still keeps on thinking he is absolutely blessed to have you.

TRAFALGAR D WATER LAW

“Now?! You know you catch a cold everyti- FINE DON’T GO ALONE!”

Law would be totally worried about you going on your little adventures.

Law would be damn proud of the pictures you take but wouldn’t show it. But you knew he was proud because of the smirk he has when he sees your photos.

He even has some pictures you took, stuck on his work desk. Mostly it’ll be covered with paper works and documents but, you know how much he treasures them.

One time you went to him to tell him about going to take photos. He started telling you about how your health would be affected to stay in the rain for so long.

You didn’t care, he gave up and accompanied you on the little trip. The doctor was actually very happy. But he didn’t show his emotions.

Law liked to be beside you during this session always. He loved to see his lover get all spirited and hyped up. It felt happy to him see you happy.

You were the light in his dark life. Or at least he thought it every time he saw you. His life as a pirate captain doctor wasn’t easy. But you always looked like a ray of sunshine in his lonely life.

Seeing the storm getting closer to you people, he’d make sure to be ready to use his powers to leave ASAP.

As the lightning was about to hit, he used a rock to teleport to another place. Just in time.

“Law!”

“What now?”, he enquired only for to see your surprised expression as you looked at the photo you took. He leaned down and saw that, it was a beautiful photo of lightning.

“I love this. Thankyou Law”, you said as you hugged him. He blushed and returned the hug. He wasn’t really used to physical appreciation so he always got flustered whenever you hugged him.

‘Yeah… I love this dork’, he thought before he smiled and hugged you tighter. He loved you and you knew it even if he didn’t use his words. Because his actions always spoke to you.

Angst Alphabet - Roronoa Zoro

a/n: hiya!!! thank y’all so much!!<3 hope you enjoy this 😌

A-Accident (would they blame themselves if you died in an accident?)

He may not blame himself entirely if you were to die in an accident. But Zoro would think himself weak. How could he possibly become the words greatest swordsman if he can’t even protect his s/o.

B-Break up (How would they break up with you?)

Before breaking up with you Zoro would start to distance himself a little to try and make it easier on the both of you for when he does break up with you. Other than that, he is likely to just come right out and say exactly what he wants to say. He’s brutally honest and straightforward so he won’t try to sugar coat anything or beat around the bush.

C-Crying (how would they make you cry?)

Zoro does this horrible thing where he likes to overwork himself to the point of exhaustion. No matter how many times you tell him to stop and express your concerns for his health, he just doesn’t listen. It hurts seeing the man you love more than anything exhausting himself.

D-Death (how would they react to your death?)

Speaking of overworking, after your death he works himself harder than he ever has before. Day in, day out he’s training. He trains every possible minute to distract himself from your death and make himself stronger to ensure he never loses a loved one ever again.

E-Emotion (what is one emotion they would try to hide the most and how would they do it?)

Being openly vulnerable is something Zoro doesn’t like to do. He really only shows his vulnerable side with his s/o and even then, it took him a really long time to do it.

F-Fight (do you two ever fight? How big are the fights? What do you fight about? Etc.)

Very rarely do your fights get serious. Your fights are often just light-hearted teases and jokes towards one another. Where its always followed by laughter or eye rolls.

If your fight was to get serious, it would result in a lot of yelling at one another and with Zoros blunt personality, a lot of hurtful words (which he ALWAYS apologizes for in the end).

G-Guilt (what is the biggest thing they feel guilty about?)

The events of Sabaody weigh heavily on Zoro’s mind. He was the first one to get sent away by Kuma, so feels as though he failed not only his captain, but the whole crew as well. He wasn’t there to protect them, to help them. Instead, he was a complete failure. And, because of his weakness his captain had to fight and suffer alone.

H-Heartbreak (what would cause them pain in the relationship? How would they deal during a break-up?)

During a break-up Zoro does what he would in any other situation: workout. He keeps himself occupied by working out, and actually he drinks a little bit more than usual too. It could even get to the point where the rest of the crew feels as though they need to step in.

I-Injured (how would they react if you are badly injured?).

He turns dark. Basically, a demon in human form. Moves you from wherever you are so that you’re out of the way of more danger AND THEN HE TIES HIS BANDANA ROUND HIS HEAD BECAUSE THIS SHIT IS SERIOUS.

J-Jealousy (what do they do if they are jealous?)

Its ridiculously obvious when this swordsman is jealous. He gets super grumpy and tries to intimidate the other person. He’ll stand right behind you and honestly, that’s intimidating enough on its own. But, if the other person doesn’t get the hint he’ll place his hand, ever so casually, on his swords.

K-Kill (would they kill for revenge?)

Ever since joining the Straw Hats, Zoro doesn’t kill others (its not something Luffy wants his nakama to do, so Zoro doesn’t do it). However, that mindset goes straight out the window depending on who he’s taking revenge for (i.e if it’s for his s/o).

Most of the time Zoro just leaves them wishing they were dead. (this seems to be a common thing amongst One Piece characters).

L-Loss (what is their greatest loss?)

I would actually say losing some of his pride. Zoro is a poud man, who refuses to lower his head to anyone. However, after receiving the message from Luffy to train and meet up again in two years, Zoro knew he had to lower his and beg Mihawk for his guidance. It was definitely a hit on his pride, but, honestly… He doesn’t regret that one bit – anything for his captain.

M-Mistake (what is the worst mistake they ever made with you?).

During one of the few big fights you guys have had things got really heated and the fight ended up getting so off topic. Insults and mean words were being thrown out left and right. Zoro got so caught up in it all that he said something that targeted one of your deepest insecurities. He knew he had screwed up so badly when you walked away without even saying anything.

N-Nightmares (how often do they have them? What are they about? How do they deal with it?).

He doesn’t often get nightmares, but when he does they tend to be about Sabaody and when the crew got separated from one another (or really any other incident where he was unable to help properly). After he wakes up, he gets straight out of bed and starts working out – determined to make sure nothing like that ever happens again.

O-Outrage (how and why would they get mad at you?)

Zoro doesn’t get mad at you for much, mainly if you pay any attention to that shitty cook, like seriously, he doesn’t understand why you have to give Sanji any attention when Zoro is literally your boyfriend….

P-Past (what has happened in your relationship that changed the way you saw each other?)

Even though you never found out exactly what happened on Thriller Bark (its something Zoro refuses to tell even you), it made you realize that you need to step up and not rely on Zoro so much because although he may act like it, he’s not actually indestructible.

Q-Quality (what is their most dangerous/toxic quality?).

(SORRY I FEEL LIKE I’M BEING VERY REPETITIVE HERE AH BUT YEAH…) He never allows himself to heal from an injury properly. He always starts training immediately despite Chopper’s best attempts to stop him.

R-Rejection (how would they react to you rejecting their confession (or the other way around)).

If you were to reject his confession, he’d probably try to justify it to himself by saying “yeah actually it’s probably better this way. I don’t need anymore distractions in life.” But, he would definitely be a little down in the dumps about it. He made himself vulnerable for this and it didn’t work the way he wanted.

S-Scars (battle or self-inflicted)

Zoro has many scars. The scar over his left eye was a result of his two years of training with Mihawk, though no one knows the exact cause of it – only that it appeared during those two years. Zoro also has a scar on his chest from his very first encounter with Mihawk. He may also have scars on his ankles from the time he tried to chop of his own legs on Little Garden (I can’t recall if these are actually scars or if they healed completely).

T-Trust (have they ever broken your trust?).

This answer is short and sweet: No. Never. Not even in his wildest of dreams. Loyalty is basically Zoro’s entire character. He would never violate your trust. If he did… well Zoro, wouldn’t be Zoro anymore. (only thing he’s done that comes close is keep you from finding out what really happened to him on Thriller Bark).

U-Urge (how badly do they want to see you after you guys separated?)

Honestly, he is probably one of the few who are able to cope with missing you the longest. He still wants to see you of course – your presence is reassuring, so he definitely prefers when you are around – but he can handle not seeing you for a while by focusing on the task at hand and just remembering that this separation isn’t permanent.

V-Vicious (what do they do when they lash out on you?).

Similar to what I’ve said before, he says some really harsh things. He has always been blunt and straightforward, but when he’s lashing out at you he tends to make things a little more personal.

W-Weak (what makes them feel weak how do they try to avoid it?).

Zoro hates losing. Not because he’s competitive or anything but because losing makes him feel weak. Whenever he loses he feels so far away from his goal. To make up for this he works out. He trains and trains and trains until he can no longer move. He will keep going until he never loses another fight.

X-X-ray (what do they hate and show it most obviously?)

Obviously, he shows his hate of Sanji very frequently. The two pirates are constantly arguing and at one anothers throat.

But another thing he hates is people getting in the way of his dream. He agreed to join Luffy so long as he didn’t get in the way of his dream – and if luffy were to get in the way Zoro made him promise to commit seppuku (although whether or not I think Zoro would actually make him do that anymore is a different thing that I could go on about for a while so imma stop there…).

Y-Yearn (what is one thing that they want but can’t have?)

Zoro wants to be the world’s greatest/strongest swordsman. It’s not currently a title he can have, however, day-by-day he is getting just that much closer.

Z-Zero (what do they do/say in your dying moments?)

I don’t think a lot is said or done by Zoro in your final moments. He probably whispers a few thank you’s and I’m sorry’s. He won’t mourn properly until he’s completely alone.
