Shen Jiu can be Shen Yuan’s older brother who has already graduated. He comes by for a visit and decides to sit in the club for a day, just to see what he’s been doing. Ends up being wildly popular with the girls, much to everyone’s shock, except maybe Shen Yuan.

To make up the age discordance, he could have skipped a grade or two because he was a genius so he graduated first, leaving YQY behind.

While he's drinking tea and comfortable cossing up to the female students, Yqy is pinning from a corner with a pained smile. Sqh would like to schedule more visits for SJ but he's too afraid to ask. There are legends gossip history about SJ's famous bad temper that the school paper once or thrice wrote about when he was a student. At the time of his visit Liu Qingge had to be escorted to avoid a fight and the destruction of Sqh's priced tea sets. SJ doesn't like Luo Binghe bc he sticks to his brother like used bubble gum and it's visually annoying. But he can't do anything except threatening Lbh when he can corner him alone; he wants lbh to leave his brother alone, doesn't he see how much of SY's time he's making him waste? (Lbr it wouldn't be SJ without some slightly toxic behavior) Lbh doesn't take this in a good way, and somehow all his insecurities converge with SJ's harsh words and the fact that SY got a low grade on some test and that surprised everyone (SY was not the perfect student but he was always in the top ten). Lbh hides in the bathroom for the whole afternoon and tries not to cry.

This opens up a subplot where Lbh tries to leave SY alone, spending less and less time with him, until SY catches up something weird is going on and he's the one chasing Lbh around when they aren't at the club, with the latter hiding every time he sees SY. At the club Lbh focuses on working and ends up almost but not quite avoiding SY.

SY would think Lbh is mad at him but he's still receiving Lbh's homemade lunches and snacks so what the hell is going on??

One day SJ visits again and notices that SY is a bit sad. Lbh had mysteriously disappeared they heard SJ coming, but SY didn't think much of it. Then he remarks on the absence of their newest host and his absence and SJ makes some subtly disparaging comment about Lbh and how they shouldn't allow him to skip the club activities if he was getting paid. This was definitely strange and SY had to aks: "Ge, what do you have against him? He's probably in the bathroom."

Sj: "You're defending him even when he's shrinking his work here? No wonder he's like that, with you pampering him so much"

The others didn't paid him attention bc SJ loved to come to the host to criticize from the way they spoke to the guests to the way Sqh prepared the tea to the clothes they choose to wear. Sqh was glad that SJ had skipped two grades and left Ouran for good, otherwise he'd have to contend with this on a daily basis.

But SY's instincts screamed at him that something was wrong and that Lbh's strange and avoidant behavior had started after SJ's last visit. He was also aware of what his brother was capable of, like for example, scaring of that he deemed "unfitting" to be SY's friends; it had happened a lot in the past. So SY confronts him, gets the truth out of him, and dramatically storms of the club in search of Binghe.

After almost two hours of running up and down their frankly too big of a school he finds Lbh sitting sad and alone on the roof of the maintenance building almost at the back of the school (lbh used to hide there from bullies). SY has had to run and power walk and climb stairs for so long he almost faceplants on the floor when he sees him, and he's panting like he's run a marathon.

If they were better at communicating they would actually articulate all their feelings— but that's not the case. SY is so relieved that he throws himself at Binghe and hugs him. Lbh's voice cracks "Yuan-Yuan-ge...?" and SY hugs him tight. Finally Lbh rests his hands on SY's back, and SY says in a low voice

"How long are you going to keep avoiding me?"

"I don't... I don't want—"

"Then don't do it. You should do whatever you want. Whatever... makes you happy."

Lbh cries "Yuan-ge!" and makes them topple backwards. SY "Ow"s from hitting his head, but that doesn't stop them from (platonically) clutching and then cuddling each other until they both stop crying. (SY was not crying per se but. His eyes got a bit wet okay?!)

Annd that would be the end of this little arc. SY reprimands SJ for saying those thing to Lbh and bans him from visiting the club until further notice. Sqh is secretly glad, even if it means less money.

Yqy walks SJ to the school gates,

SJ: "You should be glad, I won't be bothering your little club with my presence anymore."

YQY's smile doesn't reach his eyes. "That's not true at all."

SJ: "Really? You're not going to scold me for what I did?"

YQY: "I think your brother took care of that already."

SJ: "Hmph. Whatever you say. I'm going."

SJ goes around in flashy sport car that is as obnoxious as you can imagine. I'll let you decide the color. YQY follows out until SJ is opening the driver's door.

"I'll go visit you," he says in a hopeful voice.

SJ says another "Do whatever you want", closes the door with a bang and speeds up.

Yqy watches him go until he disappears in the distance. A shojo like breeze blows by. From a bush, Lmy and her cohorts furiously take notes.

Some more Sol meta rambles relating to the various Sols in my IWATEX fic Inevitability

Spoilers referencing some endings and of course, the fic, so uhhh read that first? Also discussion of death.

Xylophone "Zy" is a bit of a thought experiment about timeloops and just how differently/badly things on Vertumna could go. Within Exocolonist itself obviously things can only diverge so much otherwise it'd be impossible to factor everything into the game, but I imagine that, through butterfly effects and little nudges here and there, some of Sol's loops could end up looking very different from how things shake out in the game. There's a number of occasions where Sol 'remembers' things that don't happen or they're unsure are real, some of them apparently very bad; there are probably potential disasters that we never see during an actual playthrough.

Which brings us to Zy, the living embodiment of worst case scenario. They're kind of awkward and gloomy, and when they arrive on Vertumna, things just get worse and worse. Tammy dies and Zy can't shake off the thought that it's their fault, something felt wrong and they ignored it and now Tammy's gone. They withdraw in on themselves, start sneaking out with Dys (they kind of get along with him? but Zy's also really blunt and tactless and probably upsets him sometimes), and then within a couple of years another disaster. They both run afoul of some wildlife, Zy panics and uses their augment, which is a kind of a camouflage, Dys is killed. Zy's turbobanned forever from going out and there's a share of people who blame them for Dys (though Zy probably believes it's more people than it really is). Although Zy does manage to save Hal later on, they are injured in the process and suffer from a permanent eye injury. Cal, pretty much the only friend-adjacent person Zy has left, dies in a geoponics accident thanks to the cultivators straining to their limits to try and solve the famine, which also sees Flulu die.

Zy then remembers what's going to happen with the Stratos being destroyed and as per the fic, it's their breaking point. They manage to blow up the faceless attacking the colony but the explosion brings down the wall and kills Chief Rhett, among others, resulting in massive casualties. Zy wanders off into the wilderness in a self-loathing despair and meets their end.

writing it all out I feel pretty bad for them damn, but that's where you get thinking about worst timelines.

Strawberry "Beep" is the opposite side of the Zy timeloop coin, as in, there must be certain loops where the events that play out are very, very similar, down to the Sol experiencing them being almost exactly the same person (something pretty easily replicated in the game itself). In this case, Beep being very close to another Strawberry, "Straw".

Like it says in the fic, Beep is a tough cookie and an excellent fighter, but not a jerk about it. She's kind of in the middle of loyalty vs rebellion; she'll usually toe the line but there's a competitive streak in her and definite willingness to challenge the status quo. Sometimes in the back of her head she just gets this impression, this idea, that hey maybe she should back off a bit, maybe she shouldn't brag, maybe she should be the bigger person. (and let's be real, kind of a jerk move to gloat about being a powerhouse when your augment is superstrength)

I just find it interesting to consider how much Sol might or might not remember. Maybe now and then there's a loop just like this one, where it's more of a nagging feeling than distinct memories.

Sadly for Beep, being a hero doesn't always pan out, and those consequences are another facet of her.

Strawberry "Straw" was one of my favourite actual playthroughs (though honestly I love all my Sols puts them in a big basket and carries them around like little chickies). She's hard as nails and maximised every red skill, that super strength putting in work. As a kid, she's an absolute hellion with rebellion all the way to the right, someone who helps out with guard and watch duty all the time but frustrates the heck out of Rhett because she's terrible with orders and consistently just does whatever she wants: it works so nobody is allowed to criticise her.

Kom's death hits Straw like a hammer and completely knocks her off her high horse. Without the reality check, Straw would have grown up to be an arrogant jerk, akin to a less cruel Vace. Instead, Straw calms down a lot, realises her own limitations, and puts in some work on herself. She's still not really the greatest people person (bravery 2/3s full is pretty much the extent of her social skills), but her boisterousness comes down a few notches and she's only mostly rebellious instead of full bore stick it to the man.

Technically there are versions of Straw who both destroyed the array and were a colonial hero, but Straw genuinely and truly wants to make things better, and in spite of finding out enough about the array that she could have sabotaged it, she quietly just omits key information and stalls enough that she and Marz are able to pull off their coup and replace Lum. At that stage it's a leadup into a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Instead of being a career soldier, Straw turns towards her botanical interests and becomes prominent in that field. (Straw is significantly smarter than she lets on or wants people to know, in peacetime endings, she gets over that insecurity).

Straw has a lot of good friends amongst the other colonists, including somehow Vace. She broke up him and Nem, but she kind of compartmentalised it as a dislike for seeing Nem with somebody else (Straw having crushed on her for essentially forever). Vace and Straw are competitive, and she doesn't put up with him being pointlessly cruel in front of her, but they're both pretty gung ho people and Straw does cheer on 'badass' stuff and attempt it in turn. Over time (especially when Straw and Nem get together a while after the breakup and she starts to realise how bad Vace's behaviour really was), Straw comes to the conclusion that Vace has got issues and needs help, but it's much later than the in-game therapy arc, because Straw isn't great with this kind of thing and spends a little while hoping he'll just grow out of it (he is in his mid 20s, he is not growing out of it). So yeah Straw gets Vace therapy when he's about 25 and has caused a lot of shit already. (non-therapy Vace friendship is kind of a big oof in ending slides, he just never grows as a person).

Incidentally, arrogant!Straw probably wouldn't have got along with Vace, there'd have been too much push-pull with their relationship, and she'd have started mashing his buttons on purpose sooner or later. Eventually, one of them would have wound up seriously injuring the other; we already know Vace has it in him to attack Sol, and arrogant!Straw is a Sol who would fight back very violently. It would not have ended well in the slightest.

I have this headcannon where everyone on lifesteal makes their weapons themselves and the size is to fit in their hand and for some reason Mapicc makes his axe weigh like lead

weapons either are a little heavy to pack a punch or it is light and swift to cut quicker

Then there’s Mapicc who goes by “the bigger the weapon the better” and it’s extremely heavy that literally no one can steal it

There’s the occasional 3 members of the server who can lift Mapiccs weapon with ease but watching others struggle to keep their balance when holding it is too funny to them

Spoke thought it was the same as his own weapons, which is super huge but not heavy at all and pulled his shoulder when he mindlessly tried to yoink it out of the ground.

Mapiccs weapons require twice the materials and usually he only ever needs to make it once a a season unless he dies with it in the void

(In s4 Subz had to give him all the materials to make it again since Mapicc died to the void when moving Pangis house cause Subz accidentally placed the water in the wrong spot)

Almost like Thor’s hammer, Mapiccs axe gets lodged into the ground and others leave flowers and decorate it when passing by

No one ever tells Mapicc they saw it, they just let him wander until he can find it again. They don’t understand how he is able to lose such a massive weapon so many times

Program Classification - Perfect Standard

Short Description -

Also known as "Failure," Perfection is a genetically modified Hylian werewolf (known as a Wolfbred) who is regarded as the Yiga Clan's greatest accomplishment. (Back when the Yiga were still part of the Sheikah tribe). He, along with a distant descendant of his named Midna Marie, are two of the only Perfect Breed Standard Wolfbred in history. (I based this last bit off the Ideal American Quarter Horse which, according to the last time I was at the American Quarter Horse Association's HQ, has never been 100% met by any registered horse)

Rambly Description -

Hey! That face looks familiar!

This was the Pre-Yiga's (Sheikah before the split who had Yiga-like behaviors) greatest accomplishment. The perfect Wolfbred, loyal to no one but the Queen of Hyrule, ruthless on the battlefield, and physical perfection in accordance to the Wolfbred Breed Standard. Bred to be the Chosen Hero's Living Divine Beast, there was not a single Wolfbred more Wolfbred than he.

Too bad he's 👏bat👏crap👏cra👏zy

Wolfbred are known for being hyper-monogamous, only taking one mate for the entire lifespan even if that mate permanently disappears, which made the breeding program a problem (which is why the Wolfbred were usually "mated" to a researcher so that they could be artificially "bred" to multiple Wolfbred despite their monogamous state.) This guy, however, has actually ZERO qualms about laying with any Wolfbred lady in heat! This, combined with his "perfect" genetics, made him the breeding program's most priceless creature. If this guy isn't properly restrained, he will be either tearing something to shreds or making more puppies.

Hence his registered name of "Failure." He's perfect in every physical way, but his extreme behavior issues make him seem almost non-Hylian, and eventually became a catalyst for the program's shutter. He actually has two registered names: He was registered as "Perfection" at birth due to the reasons listed above by the Pre-Yiga, but after he reached adulthood, the Sheikah (non Pre-Yiga) and Hyrulean Royal Family re-registered him as "Failure" due to his extreme problems.

Sunset's notes - I haven't decided whether he is euthanized when the program is shuttered, or if he somehow escaped euthanasia. Either he or multiple of his offspring made it to Hateno Village alive, because his genetics are very prevalent even in the modern Wolfbred population. He's the source of 99% of the behavioral problems in Wolfbred males, especially Link. Link is the descendant of many of Failure's children.

My Persona

Hello, all. It's Asenath. I have decided to make quick art of my persona, as Azazel showed me (and I have seen) that zy posted art of theirs.

As it stands, my persona's colour palette is quite a choice right now. While I have no qualms with it, Az said that it makes zier eye's hurt. So, I may change it soon.

Overall, this took me longer than initially intended as I was busy with family all day and only had tidbits of time here and there to get it done. The thing that took the longest was definitely the colouring, especially since I find it the least enjoyable part of the artistic process. Therefore, expect many of my posts in the future to be in black or white, or another monochrome colour palette.

This piece was very lazy and is not what my best art looks like at all, so I understand fully if you're not able to find enjoyment in the artwork. I do not fully understand why I decided to post this just because Az did, perhaps it's because we are so close.

Me and Azazel met around three years ago on the app commonly known as Discord. We both found ourselves in a small, close-knit community of self-shippers and hit it off almost instantly. Our friendship bloomed into a strong comradery, a bond almost blood linked in nature. This Discord server has since dissolved, and most of the members have gone their own way.

In fact, I have not had any communication with any other member except for Azazel in a year. Additionally, their last messages were nothing less than disgusting and rude. They have all decided mutually that me and Azazel were the root cause of the issue of which caused the server to cease existence. This is entirely fictional, and I have not a single idea in my brain what chronically incorrect notion adapted by them caused this group to hate us so furiously.

As for me and Az meeting Gabriel, well that will be a story for another time. Perhaps one day I will also explain the circumstances of said Discord server, but for now I feel as if I need to discuss the matter more thoroughly with my close friend.

I have been attacked personally so many times by multiple people claiming me to be some delusional egotistical sociopath. It quite honestly dampens my mood, but I try not to let it get to me to save face. Not my own face, obviously, but that of others as my anger is intense and venomous. I only lash out against those that I feel truly deserve it.

Being an angel, I know these people the moment I set my eyes on them. I can feel it in my bones, flesh, and the air I breathe when I interact with someone who's intent is impure. People may think that I am delusional- that what I say is nothing less than absolute lie. These people are nothing less, and nothing more, than human.

It's human to not be able to understand or perceive things that you may deem impossible. For that, I am not angry at those people. Their feelings are more than understandable, if not a bit childish and mortal. But they didn't choose to be mortal, like I didn't choose to be an angel nor an alien.

But I'll explain more some other time perhaps. I have been rambling on for quite a while and I really don't mean to bore you with my long-winded explanation on how Heaven, Hell and Purgatory really work. Plus, mortals and those not inherently Holy in nature will never understand fully. It is their greatest fault.

A melenistic mained wolf:

My main form, what we are more often than not, is a highly pigmented (melenistic) mained wolf. We are about 150 and something cm or about 5'5 "at the shoulders when fully shifted, and a second row of teeth behind my normal teeth. It has no pupils, and a longer tail then most of mained wolves

A void cryptid:

A friend has drawn this form more than once. They are quiet in thralled with it. We usually look like a large cat or medium-sized dog, completely formed of a black mist. We are about 93-ish cm or 3'6"-ish at the shoulder, but that can fluctuate. This form is not friendly. It is not kind. We are not a good person, and this form proves it.

I love how integrated art has gotten in my daily life, like; seeing certain facial features and someone’s side profile and thinking that they’d be really fun to draw - similarly, looking at someone’s hands in a certain position and thinking that they’d fit really well in a renaissance or baroque-period painting. And like, accidentally finding yourself looking at the way fabric folds, and just picking up on it as you’re doing something mundane and also just getting super inspired and getting some major ideas just by giving something or someone a once over. Also looking at people and picturing them in different art styles! Maybe I’m just being a dweeb but I absolutely love art and that simple everyday things can inspire it
