‼️EMERGENCY FUNDS: I need Help With Medical Bills And Equipment ‼️

Howdy Y'all, please share my story with me at least a little, I am a Type 1 Diabetic. I was diagnosed in February 2019 after being very sick and I weighed 88 lbs. For the last two and a half years I have had to inject insulin 4+ times for day every day, to stay within my blood glucose level.

In December 2020 I was hospitalized and had to have emergency surgery where I had to stay at home for the entire period of my illness without working, and I also had DKA aka Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious complication of diabetes that occurs when your body produces high levels of blood acids called ketones.

In the picture, the devices you see are the ones that are needed to control my diabetes.

Diabetic ketoacidosis develops when your body cannot produce enough insulin. Insulin normally plays an important role in helping sugar (glucose), the main source of energy for your muscles and other tissues, enter your cells. Without enough insulin, your body begins to break down fat as an alternative fuel. This process produces a buildup of toxic acids in the bloodstream called ketones, eventually leading to diabetic ketoacidosis if left untreated.

Three months later in March 2021 I finally got to see an endocrinologist, who specializes in Type 1 Diabetes. Who told me that an insulin pump would be a good device for me?

I was recently approved for an insulin pump that will help me better control my diabetes. Although I am happy that I am approved the hardest part is coming up with the funds to pay for the pump and equipment.

After visiting the hospital and seeing the doctor, it became clear that Ahmed needed urgent surgery, but the cost was expensive and we didn't have enough money. I don't know how long Ahmed will be able to endure the pain. Please help me get the surgery. Ahmed was born through IVF and was admitted to the incubator due to holes in his heart. He was exposed to artificial oxygen, which affected his eyesight and caused vision problems. You are my only hope with your donation and sharing this post.

The family is trying to escape, but three of its members suffer from physical disabilities. Adam, her 13-year-old son, has a head condition that limits his mobility.

I come from a lifeless neighborhood with no color other than the color of blood and destruction.

I was born in 1991.

I'm a girl from a family of seven boys and six girls, and I'm the youngest.

My mother and I live in a house left to us by my father. I studied at university and graduated with a degree in basic education.

I worked in a private job.

I received a salary that covered my and my mother's expenses as much as possible.

We were happy until the war came.

The war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.

Here, hell began for us in Gaza. I lost my job and became unemployed. My mother owns nothing, and I own nothing.

My mother was displaced to the southern Gaza Strip for 15 months. I didn't go with her. It was months of longing for my mother and siblings.

My brothers Mahmoud and Ashraf stayed behind.

We were displaced several times because I live in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, a border area close to the army.

During the displacement on June 27, 2024, we left the house and raced along the road to escape the shells and planes. Then came the lightning strike. The shock was that death was faster than my brothers could escape...

Here, here, we lost our loved ones. I lost my brothers, the apple of my eye, Mahmoud and Ashraf. Mahmoud left no children. As for Ashraf, he left behind his sons who grieve, and my mother is in pain because they departed to God without a farewell, without a kiss on their foreheads, a farewell kiss. After a while, we returned home. The house had been severely damaged by demolition and stones that had fallen from their places, which used to shelter us and protect us. Now, nothing protects us except some worn-out tarpaulins that do not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Our suffering is great, but with your help, we may reach a better and dignified life. I appeal to you to help me support myself, my mother, my loved ones, and my family. It is inhabited by the Siraj family—a father, a mother, three children, and his extended family of 24—who have been displaced six times over the past few years. Each time, they thought it would be their last, but war kept knocking on their door again.

Their last home, which they had built with great hope from scraps of brick and wood, was targeted by the Zionists a year and a half ago in a violent raid. Since then, they have been living in this tent, which offers neither protection against the cold of winter nor the heat of summer, nor does it ward off fear. The area they now reside in is under threat of being stormed at any moment, and the father, Siraj, is unable to sleep at night, worried about his children.

"We want nothing more than to get out of here. We just want to live in safety," the mother says, cradling her little girl close to her chest. The family has tried to flee again, but transportation costs have become an insurmountable obstacle, as they don't even have enough to eat.

I am a mother of three children. We have lived through the war for a year and a half, and we have lost everything we own. My husband is a man who did not work. Before the war, I did not have a breadwinner or any source of income. During the war I didn't give up to teach so I volunteered and had good chance to help some students to get engaged again with English in a very creative way.

The crossings boarders are closed again these days and war return in Gaza.  The crossing through which food enters has been closed for more than 30 days. We have nothing to eat, and even if we do, the prices are exorbitant. Some of the prices listed are:

1 kg of meat = $100 now there is no meat

1 chicken = 70$ there is no chicken

1 kg of fish = 100$ now it costs 200$

1 bag of flour = $200 now it costs 600$

1 kg of cooking gas = $150 now it costs 1000$

1 kg of sugar = $50

1 kg of eggplant = $20

1 kg of onions = $50

1 kg of tomatoes = $20

We all considered Khaled to be like an older brother to Ahmad. He was close to all of us, but he held a special place in Maryam’s heart she loved him dearly, and he loved her just as much.

Exactly one month ago and on the morning of April 3rd, Maryam asked my father if she could go visit Khaled. She missed him and wanted to play with the children her age in his neighborhood.He agreed. She went on her way, and not even a few minutes had passed before a missile struck the area she had just headed to.

In that moment, nothing else mattered to us but one question screaming in our mind : “Where’s Maryam? Is she okay?”

My father says..

I ran as fast as I could toward the site of the strike, my heart pounding in fear and panic.

When I arrived, I was shocked by the scene. Dozens of men were rushing around, carrying injured children. All of them every single one had blood covering their faces and severe injuries. I began shouting at the top of my lungs, “Maryam! Maryam! MARYAM!” until I saw her...

But my heart still wasn’t at peace. I couldn’t leave. I ran again this time toward the place I feared Khaled might have been.

With every step closer, my dread grew. “No... it can’t be him...” But when I arrived, I found Khaled’s house two stories high destroyed.

Khaled was there. After a long struggle, we managed to pull him from the rubble... but it was too late. Khaled had passed away.

Khaled is gone... and the world no longer feels the same. The earth is emptier now without Khaled.
