DAY 20: Xerxes Break (Pandora Hearts)

I saved this guy for my birthday. Of course. OF COURSE IT'S BREAK!!!!

Pandora hearts is definitely one of my favourite books ever, and Break is the uncontested best character. That is not an opinion I say lightly, and I take no criticism.

So much that I love about him is spoilers and I always want more people would get into PH so I can't blabber on about it unfortunately. But he's really silly. and cute. Thinking about him for too long makes me cough up blood and cry, I wish I could just beam manga screenshots into everyone's brains to compel them to read it. My first and only nendroid is of this guy and his smug face. God.

He and the main character Oz have one of the most interesting dynamics I've ever seen they're insane together. They drive ME insane. Break makes me want to rip a door off its hinges with my teeth. Thank you Jun Mochizuki for my fucking life.

Recently, one of my favourite pastimes is to take long walks around the city. You'll never know what you're going to find, whether its boutique fashion stores, classy coffee shops, or second hand bookshops. I find it a very different experience when compared to walking in malls.

Currently, I'm also practicing drawing in perspective by studying photos of places I've been. Read till the end to catch a glimpse of my latest artwork!

The art version is rushing through rendering and then giving up and just posting it anyways despite all the mistakes and unfinished parts

I swear every time I want to write my head immediately gets filled with a cacophony of noise to the point I can barely concentrate on getting sentences out… anyone else have this problem? Just me?

Trying to draw buildings of places that I've walked around... man is perspective challenging! Have to keep reminding myself to draw boxes...

It's taking so long but tbh this is the nicest buildings I've ever drawn (not that it's a high bar)

Apparently at work I can no longer use the em-dash when writing as its a 'sign of AI'.

"Nobody uses em-dashes" - I do!

Me when I really really wanna interact with my mutuals but I also have crippling social anxiety so I end up stalking their posts like

Not bad for drawing something straight from imagination (without looking at reference) yes it's a little wonky but it looks better than I expected!

Drawing from the shoulder is super hard with a small drawing tablet…my palm keeps sticking and there's not much area for me to draw (it's a small tablet)

Ironically maybe traditional would be easier

Maybe I should consider getting a Trello or XTile ... for those who have used them for personal use (so not work/business related), how's it like?

I keep letting my perfectionism get in the way of drawing/posting art, so I'm trying to combat that by posting more shitty art online without thinking over it too much (and yet here I am thinking about it too much)
