Beneath the Veil of Shadows
In the shadowed realm of a weary mind, A girl with a spirit, so beautifully confined. Chronically tired, in a world of unknown, Bearing burdens silently, struggles overgrown.
Her days adorned with a cloak of fatigue, A mental landscape, an enigmatic intrigue. Invisible battles beneath a smile's veneer, She dances with shadows, her pain unclear.
In a world where explanations fall short, Her story's a mystery, a confidential report. No one can fathom the depth of her strife, Yet she wears resilience like the fabric of life.
Through the haze of her restless nights, She conjures strength from unseen lights. Silent screams echo within her soul, Yet, outwardly, determination takes control.
They see her smile, they assume it's a guise, Unaware of the storm in her soul's sunrise. She paints on her face the colors of grace, Concealing the tempest, a delicate embrace.
In the corridors of her mind, whispers persist, A kaleidoscope of emotions, a turbulent twist. Yet, she presses on with a heart so true, 100% effort, though they see just a few.
Judgments rain down like a torrential storm, Misunderstandings swirl in a society norm. But she persists, a quiet symphony, Her strength a testament to her silent plea.
In the stillness of night, when shadows loom, She battles demons in her quiet room. Yet, with each dawn, a rebirth of the day, She dons her armor, ready to find her way.
A chronicle written in a language unknown, Her journey marked in whispers and moans. She defies the odds, a warrior in grace, For behind her smile, resilience finds its place. -adriftpoetry

Dissociation Station
In the station of detachment, I stand, A passenger lost in the vast expanse of no man's land. The platform echoes with the silence of my mind, As the train of thoughts leaves reality behind.
Faces pass like fleeting shadows in the mist, In this station of dissociation, where time does not exist. The ticket to presence lost, misplaced, In the corridors of numbness, I wander, spaced.
Each platform a realm of fragmented dreams, Reality dissolves in elusive streams. The announcement speakers murmur in disarray, As I navigate the labyrinth where thoughts decay.
Trains of emotion thunder through, unheard, In this station of detachment, where feelings are blurred. The timetable of self, a puzzle unsolved, As the echoes of existence remain unresolved.
No destination, no arrival, only departure, In this dissociation station, a silent departure. A one-way ticket to a realm unknown, Where the self journeys, suspended and alone.
Faces blend into a canvas of anonymity, In this station of dissociation, a surreal symphony. The whistle of the train, a distant cry, As I linger in the echoes, wondering why.
Dissociation station, a transient abode, A place where fragments of the self erode. In the waiting room of detachment, I reside, Lost in the station where the self can hide. -adriftpoetry

Resurrection of Consent
In the echoes of a haunted past, where shadows danced, I found myself entrapped, in a love askance. A history of pain, where consent was but a token, In the labyrinth of fear, my spirit lay broken.
Yet, from the ashes of despair, a phoenix rose, A new chapter unfolded, where serenity flows. In the arms of a lover, gentle and kind, A sanctuary of safety, a haven designed.
Beneath the quilt of night, where stars softly weep, I discovered solace, in the arms of sleep. No longer haunted by ghosts of yesteryear, But cradled in compassion, banishing the fear.
The touch, once a weapon, now a healing balm, In the tapestry of trust, a soothing psalm. A symphony of consent, a melody of choice, In the silence of intimacy, I found my voice.
A dance of two souls, a choreography of grace, Erasing the scars, leaving no trace. In the sanctuary of passion, where fears dissipate, I reclaim my body, rewrite my fate.
No more the victim, but a survivor strong, In the arms of love, where I truly belong. With each tender moment, a resurrection unfolds, A story of empowerment, in verses untold.
The scars are now landmarks, reminders of the fight, Of reclaiming my body, embracing the light. In the power of intimacy, where trust reigns supreme, I've found my refuge, in the arms of a dream.
So, here I stand, a phoenix reborn, In the sanctuary of love, no longer torn. From the ashes of trauma, a powerful plea, For a world where consent sets every soul free.

Midnight Serenade
In the stillness of the midnight hour, A quiet symphony begins to flower. Raindrops dance upon the glass, A whispered tale of moments passed.
Cars rush by in a hurried stream, Their distant hum, a transient dream. Moonlight paints the windowsill, A gentle touch, serene and still.
The night unfolds its silver gown, As towns afar in glow are known. A chorus of distant city sounds, A lullaby as the world surrounds.
Each droplet, a story to tell, On the canvas where emotions swell. A tranquil moment, a silent song, In the night where dreams belong.
The roads, like rivers, weave their way, Through city lights in a grand display. Yet here, in quiet solitude, A world of thoughts is gently brewed.
Beyond the glass, a universe untold, Where stories in the night unfold. In the hush of rain and distant gleam, A poet's heart finds its silent dream.

Whispers of Resilience
In shadows cast by fleeting years, I danced a waltz with grown-up fears. A childhood lost, a heavy toll, In whispers of a wounded soul.
While friends frolicked in youth's embrace, I bore the weight of life's swift race. Responsibilities draped in gray, Innocence lost, dreams put away.
Through corridors of fleeting time, I walked the path, a paradigm. Family struggles, finance woes, In the garden, a lone flower grows.
Childhood's laughter, a distant sound, As I navigated life unbound. Maturity forced its early bloom, In the twilight of a borrowed room.
Yet strength emerged from depths unknown, A resilience in seeds I'd sown. The sunsets painted on my face, A canvas etched with quiet grace.
Oh, how I longed for carefree days, To chase the sun in playful ways. But duty called, and I replied, A grown-up heart in a child's stride.
In dreams, I sought a lighter flight, Yet anchored by the struggles, tight. For every tear that marked the night, A star was born, a guiding light.
So here I stand, a soul mature, With tales to tell, hardships endure. Though youth slipped by with fleeting grace, I found my strength in life's embrace.
For in the crucible of strife, I forged a deeper, truer life. And as I gaze at the stars above, I thank the trials that shaped my love.

Moonlit Unity: A Celestial Poem
Beneath the endless tapestry of night's embrace, Where stars in silent symphony do trace, A beacon of hope in the midnight's swoon, We all, as one, gaze at the same moon.
Across the world, in varied tongues we speak, Yet under Luna's gaze, our hearts do peak, A common thread that binds us in its tune, We all, as one, gaze at the same moon.
In distant lands where daylight fades to gray, And in the lands where sun's first light holds sway, In joy and sorrow, in each high and low, The same moon's glow we all come to know.
Its gentle face, a universal grace, A constant in the ever-changing space, It whispers secrets to the restless sea, A silent friend to both you and me.
Through stormy clouds and skies of azure hue, It offers solace when the day is through, A timeless witness to the world's cocoon, We all, as one, gaze at the same moon.
In dreams and wishes, whispered to the night, In moments of despair, it lends its light, A silver lantern in our darkest hour, A reminder of our shared earthly bower.
Though separated by vast lands and sea, This moon above unites both you and me, In unity, our differences maroon, For we, as one, gaze at the same moon.
So when you feel alone in life's cruel stream, Remember, my dear friend, it's not a dream, That as we navigate life's ebb and swoon, We all, as one, gaze at the same moon.

Doing it all...
In this relationship, I am alone With a man who only thinks of his own His words are excuses, empty and thin As he ignores the pain he causes within
I pour out my heart, but he won't listen He only hears his own voice and ambition His promises are shallow and soon forgotten While my pain and frustration remain unspoken
I thought love was selfless, but he proves me wrong With each passing day, my heart feels less strong I crave his attention, his love and his care But all he gives is apathy and despair
I wonder how long I can carry on this way In a relationship where I am just a castaway I dream of a love that's true and pure But with him, I know that's just a lure
So I must be brave and walk away From a man who only causes me dismay I deserve a love that's kind and true And I won't settle for less, no matter what I do.

ToXic LoXe
The thing I loved the most is now the deadliest poison.
Time to let go of past trauma and move past the troubles on my mind.
Take away your threats and run away with them.
You don’t owe me an explanation, you are the explanation.
Daily reminder of the shortage of love in this world like a morning alarm.
Run, run away.
Take yourself away and float away from oblivion.
Leave me alone tonight so I can sleep on the bed of roses I made myself.

Toxicity
Why do the things that should make me feel alive make me want to die twice?
You are the one who should of made me feel alive but all you are is a knife.
Cut me free, cut the ties, free me and all these demons inside. People who hurt me tend to fill my mind more than the so called happy times.
Time to step up, before I search for better instead.
Toxicity flows through their blood but that is what traps me in binds to them. You are just dead just like your replies……
What a way to kill the conversation, I see through your lies.

Hangman
Trust came and went like the seasons,
you were my light when all there was was darkness,
I am paralysed.
You ruined me,
ripped my heart in two.
When you call I no longer want to reply,
how sad is that.
Ruined my relationships in threes,
6 shouldn’t be the devils number.
Time to play hangman with your own lies...

sAd
Your throat begins to close,
lights begin to fade to blurry nights,
thoughts begin to fog up the mind
even the nicest thoughts somehow turn psychotic.
Love is just an illusion and pain becomes the conqueror.
The feeling of being alone seems perfect once it’s been the only thing you’ve felt for years.
The feeling of the touch from loved ones feels like posion ivy against the miles miles of skin, tracing up and down gently turning your veins black.
Hugs feel like walls closing in on your body, the feeling of being hurt rediates as if there is knife being pointed into your spine.
The slightest move and you’re
DEAD!
That is what makes you sAd.

Ocean thoughts...
Thoughts come in waves,
I feel myself closing my eyes,
holding my breath
I let it carry me.
The smell of the sea,
the salty but sweet taste dance in my mouth
stimulating all sences.
The sound of the waves crashing against the shore,
dragging every last bit of life away with it.

Books...
They take you into a parallel universe where words flood your brain like a river thats bank has been burst,
the sea of words fill your head
problems and thoughts seem to fade.
It numbs you,
it drowns you
as it fills your head with such contrasting images,
reality seems to fade from your everlasting clutch until,
 all that is left is
nothing.
