I had such a special spiritual experience today working on the last chapter of Revelation. The Lord heard and answered a prayer. This experience strengthened my imperfect testimony. This is me saying goodbye to my daily scripture sketches. I completed my goal, leaving only the Old Testament un-illustrated. You can’t tell here but the silver box on the right also contains a few hundred drawings. From now on I will work on only sections of the scriptures, focusing on a more in depth study of passages and chapters that need special attention. Based on an image I first saw on TV of a tribal crown. I found an authentic photo of one online after a bit of digging. This idea of a crown making a ring around the face reminds me of the glory of the sun. With the progressive direction the church is taking, I wonder if this scripture might read differently to include ‘and queens and priestesses’ someday soon? I would not be surprised.
