ur morning radio #1 . rituals to wake up ur body and mind

I created this series called “ur morning radio”, where I’ll share everything about mornings and how to make them better. Today, I’m talking about morning rituals , small habits that can help u feel more energized, focused, and calm as you start your day !
I’ve had a lot of questions about what to drink in the morning for health. Drinks can really boost your energy and well-being, but you can’t just follow a trend blindly. If you have any health issues it’s especially important to do your research and make sure a drink is actually safe and beneficial for you. what works for someone else might not work for your body stay safe everyone ! :
Hot Water (my fav): i drink it everyday but in that summer ofc . Beyond easing throat pain and coughing, hot water helps kickstart your metabolism, aids digestion by breaking down food particles, flushes toxins from your system, and improves blood circulation. It can also relieve nasal congestion, reduce stress (the warmth is naturally soothing), and help with constipation by stimulating bowel movements.
Olive Oil (First Thing in Morning)(my fav): Taking olive oil on an empty stomach supports heart health with its healthy monounsaturated fats, provides powerful antioxidants that fight inflammation, helps your body absorb fat-soluble vitamins, supports brain function, and may help regulate blood sugar levels. It also promotes healthy skin from the inside out and can aid in maintaining healthy cholesterol levels.
ginger and lemon shots: Besides weight loss support, these shots boost your immune system significantly, reduce inflammation throughout the body, improve digestion and reduce bloating, help detoxify the liver, provide vitamin C for collagen production, can reduce nausea and morning sickness, and may help lower blood pressure and improve circulation.
green tea(my fav): Packed with antioxidants, boosts metabolism, improves brain function, and supports fat burning without the jitters of coffee.
Apple Cider Vinegar Water: May help regulate blood sugar, support digestion, and promote feelings of fullness.
cucumber mint water: Hydrating and refreshing, supports kidney function, provides electrolytes, and has a cooling effect on the body . It's more like a hot day drink for energy
warm water with honey(my fav): Natural antibacterial properties, soothes throat irritation, provides quick energy, and supports wound healing from within.
beetroot juice(my fav): Improves blood flow and oxygen delivery, supports athletic performance, may help lower blood pressure, and provides folate for cell health loooove it .
So after, you can try to set some rituals to follow in the morning just like a little plan for yourself. Something simple like: movement – eating – reflecting/reading – getting ready. ofc, youre free to do it your own way, but having a flow makes your mornings feel more intentional and less rushed. For me i go like pray - mouvement - refelcting - eating - getting ready - reading.
Play natural sounds while moving in the morning especially while making breakfast/stretching/getting ready : Creates a calming atmosphere that reduces cortisol levels, enhances focus and mindfulness during exercise, connects you with nature's rhythms, and helps synchronize your circadian clock for better energy throughout the day. In my opinion, listening to music with lyrics in the morning just doesn’t sit right with me. It feels too distracting, like my brain is being forced to process words before it’s even fully awake u just make ur brain tired . Sure, it can make you feel hyped or motivated for a moment, but the effect fades as soon as the music stops, and you’re left back at zero. Plus, lyrics often push a certain mood or story onto you, and sometimes it just doesn’t match the calm or soft energy you want to start your day with. That’s why I find myself leaning more toward nature-like music the kind of background sounds we barely notice anymore and we miss . It might sound silly, but I love Minecraft music ( I've been a Minecraft player since 2019 so yeah ) it gives me that peaceful feeling of waking up in a tiny house in the middle of a forest. here is my fav channel click here
practicing tai chi : During my Chinese summer classes, we practiced Tai Chi as one of the cultural activities. There are many types of Tai Chi, I learned that it is a traditional Chinese martial art that combines gentle movements, balance, and breathing. It is often described as a moving meditation because of its slow and graceful style. Tai Chi helps improve focus, reduce stress, and bring calmness to both the body and mind. I found it especially helpful during busy days or before exams, since practicing it felt like pressing pause on my worries and giving my mind space to breathe it's a spiritual workout !
Pilates : strengthens deep core muscles, improves spinal mobility, and enhances overall body awareness and control. It builds long, lean muscles while correcting postural imbalances and increasing functional strength for everyday activities. Beyond physical benefits, Pilates also improves flexibility, balance, and coordination, reduces muscle tension, and supports proper breathing patterns. It can prevent injuries by promoting safe, mindful movement and helps release stress while calming the mind. I’m a big fan myself I’ve been practicing Pilates for two years now, and it has not only toned my body but also made me feel stronger, more centered, and fully in tune with my movements.
reading : you’re free to explore whatever interests you, but I also like to set aside some time for morning reading . In the mornings, I usually start with the Holy Quran (the holy book) , and then I might read something else, like self-help or personal development books . Writers like Robin Sharma, James Clear, and Brené Brown offer practical insights on building habits, improving mindset, and understanding yourself better. Reading books helps expand your mind, improves focus and concentration, reduces stress, and inspires new ideas. It also strengthens empathy and emotional intelligence, giving you tools to navigate life more thoughtfully and intentionally.
breakfast : y’all need to know: a solid breakfast = solid energy. Your morning meal sets the tone for your entire day, so it’s worth putting a little care and creativity into it even if you’re on a weight loss journey. Breakfast fuels your brain, improves focus and concentration, and stabilizes blood sugar levels, so u won’t feel that mid-morning crash or constant cravings. It also kickstarts your metabolism, supports digestion, and provides essential nutrients to keep your body strong and energized. Adding color, variety, or a little “art” to your breakfast can make it more enjoyable and encourage mindful eating. If you skip it regularly, you risk low energy, poor concentration, overeating later, and slowing down your metabolism and u will deal w gut problems in the future .
morning pages : it’s optional but they’re so, so important. If you’re the anxious type or feel under pressure for the day ahead, try giving Morning Pages a shot. Even just one page of free writing can help you unload your thoughts, organize your mind, and set a positive tone for the day. It’s like giving your brain a warm-up it clears mental clutter, reduces stress, and allows you to approach tasks with more focus and calm. Morning Pages can also spark creativity, help you notice patterns in your thoughts, and boost self-awareness. Over time, they train you to process emotions constructively and build a stronger sense of control over your day, rather than letting worries dictate it.

girl u made me cry I swear I'm eating breakfast rn and reading this , I really see a beautiful strong women rn !! keep going girl !! 🍀🤍
a fresh start : 05.09.2025
hello everyone! i hope that everyone is doing wonderful. today's blog is focussed on how to start afresh and bloom through the mud like a brave, beautiful water lily
firstly if you're between 15-20 years of age, please realise that you are so so young. this isn't the time to have a perfect idea of who you want to be but rather, it's the time to experience things. try new hobbies, read new books, listen to new songs, watch a diff genre of films, just explore as much as you can. that is how you create your own identity. through exploration.
and you don't have to be perfect, not right now, not ever. just be. that is enough. you don't need to have the perfect wardrobe, the perfect body, the perfect skin, the perfect habits etc. those things are built over time. ofc, be disciplined, and take care of your body. but don't be so rigid with it that it feels like a chore. having a healthy body is a blessing. eating food is a blessing. be nicer to yourself.
your brain is still developing till the age of 25. if you are 15-20 years of age, that's 5-10 years. that's a huge number. 1825-3650 days to go! be kiddish. laugh at silly things. forgive yourself and never give up. don't let social media or the harsh world outside force you to grow up, when it's not even your time. let me give an example. you know how the quality of fruits and veggies are getting worse and worse? out of season fruits... out of season veggies... too much chemicals in them. they are also being forced to "mature". and are they as tasty and nutritious as the fruits you ate as a kid? no right? the same goes with us.
and lastly, enjoy your teenage years just the way you glorify your early and middle childhood. make time capsules. maintain diaries. buy cute little trinkets and have memories connected to them that only you understand. take pictures. dance to songs even if you suck at dancing. do things. spend as little time as you can in your head or scrolling through social media. make your life count. you're alive.
life isn't just about looking pretty, having abs, having a bf/gf for the laughs and giggles, having the perfect aesthetic etc. it is so much more than that. and i hope you realise it.
ending words : if you expected this to be a blog where i tell you exactly what to do for a fresh start, well you know you were wrong. see that is the thing, we are so used to having people tell us what to do that we have forgotten that life lessons are supposed to be learned through our own life and not someone else's. these are just a few mindset shifts/reminders to help you start your life again. life that is your own. live the way you want to. do not let anyone stop you from being happy.
logging off, @deardiarywrites

( ⚠️ vent w lessons : bullying !)
Yesterday like every year I got hit with nostalgia about what happened to me back from autumn 2021 to winter 2023 . That year I got my first phone an iPhone 6 plus. I didn’t have the code for downalding apps at first, but I managed to find it and of course who’s gonna have a phone without social media? So I downloaded Instagram and all social media apps .
At the time, I only had three friends I’d known since kindergarten. We’d been together for years, and I was in junior year of middle school. I thought I could trust them, especially since I had just started getting bullied. Like any girl would I went and vented to my friends, thinking they understood me. But what I didn’t realize was that those same friends were also talking to the people who bullied me they were basically friends .
For a short moment, I felt safe I thought they related to me, that they were on my side cuz ur bff would never make u feel small for venting . But just a few days later, we got into an argument. And imagine this I came home from school, opened Instagram, and saw that they had screenshotted my vents and sent them to the girl who bullied me and the girl she was the ultimate pick-me, always victimizing herself (yk the type we all don't like ) She posted my screenshots on her story for everyone to see.
The moment I saw my private words exposed like that I almost klled myself . She was the most popular girl, followed by literally every single student in school and even though I never talked trash about her, people assumed I was the villain rveryone chose to side with the popular girl ofc .
I wish I could go back in time and just explain everything to my parents. They do know about the bullying now, but they don’t know the details of the details especially the Cyberbulling . They only knew that I was hated for not having a boyfriend, for being skinny, a d for having acne , and for not doing what other girls were allowed to do since my parents are strict. I will never forgive those people for what they did and even if I did God won’t, because it was horrible. I still have PTSD from it .
My mom was the N1 everyone fav teacher at that same school, so the humiliation doubled. My parents eventually found out how I’d unlocked the phone, took it away from me, and from there my relationship with my parents, my grades, and my social life all collapsed. I went through two of the hardest years of my life 8th n 9th grade . It was cyberbullying mixed with school bullying, and walking into school knowing everyone saw me as jealous of the “popular girls” was TORTURE. But still i didn’t give up and I didn't k!s and now, years later, I’m rn graduating high school this year and it's been 3y rn since I stared posting and tumblr and close to 4y since I let go from the past .
tbh I could write a whole book about that chapter of my life .
here is some important things u need to learn that I learned the hard way !
choose your circle wisely : That person saying "omg they were talking about you" is NOT your friend bestie. They're literally collecting gossip and you're next on their list. Real ones don't bring you drama, they bring you peace and protection cuz if ur friends don't protect ur name they are not ur friends . Quality over quantity always 1 real friends beats 50 fake ones. Your energy is precious, don't waste it on people who thrive off chaos.
keep your vents private : after that period I stopped trusting ppl even my parents so I stared journaling since then and I deleted my ACS and social media and still didn't download them . ur deepest struggles aren't content for people who barely know you . Write that pain down, voice memo it, or talk to actual safe people who've earned that access . Some things are meant to stay between you and your God/therapist/journal..
not everyone deserves access to your pain : ur vulnerability isn't a free sample , stop giving it out to random people. Just because someone asks "what's wrong" and smile doesn't mean they deserve your whole life story (I'm talking Abt school never talk shit Abt sm1 w random ppl !!!! ) . Save that energy for people who've actually shown up for you consistently , ur trauma has value, treat it like the precious thing it is. Stop making yourself emotionally available to people who wouldn't cross the street for u !
when in doubt stay silent : that urge to explain yourself to people who already decided to misunderstand you like yk when there is rumors Abt u ? Resist it bestie , silence really is golden and it's giving mysterious main character energy (not in a negative way) . u don't owe anyone your thoughts, explanations, or emotional labor. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is absolutely nothing. Let them wonder, let them assume ur peace is worth more than their understanding.
it's just a chapter : i know it feels like this pain is your entire personality right now I was feeling it too I always cried saying "would I stay in this state forever?" but it's really not. You're in a rough chapter, not a rough life big difference there. This feeling that's consuming you won't even matter in 5 years, trust. Life keeps moving whether you're ready or not, so might as well move with it. You've survived 100% of your worst days so far and that's honestly iconic.
never measure your worth by popularity : being the main character means staying true to yourself, not performing for an audience. Those people who are "popular" are usually just really good at being fake to everyone. Authenticity is way more attractive than being liked by people you don't even respect. ur worth isn't determined by follower count, party invites, or who knows your name. The right people will appreciate the real you .
bullies are temporary, scars are lessons : that person making your life hell right now u won't see them again after graduating. These people who seem so powerful are really just insecure and taking it out on you. Years from now they'll be irrelevant but you'll be thriving with all that character development. The confidence you build surviving this will be unmatched what happened to me is what make me rn a women w a strong mentality . What doesn't break you really does make you stronger .
talk to your parents if you can : I know your parents seem like they were born in the stone age but they've got your back legally. Even if they don't understand bullying drama or yk teens drama , they understand protection and advocacy. Give them the details so they can actually help you instead of guessing what's wrong. They have adult powers you don't have access to yet. Sometimes you need someone with real authority in your corner I WISH I WISH I WISH I CAN CB IN TIME DON'T DO MY MISTAKE !!!
protect your peace : u have free will pookie , lock, mute, restrict use every tool Instagram gave u because your mental health matters more than politeness. That person who always has something negative to say will be gone . Those accounts that make you feel bad about yourself are deleted. Your feed should spark joy, not anxiety attacks. Digital detox isn't just trendy, it's literally necessary for your sanity. Curate your online space like your mental health depends on it because it does.
be willing to be disliked. Gossip, judgment, and envy will always exist. That’s just reality , u don’t need everyone’s approval to feel worthy or to belong. Courage isn’t about being liked it’s about standing firm when others try to break you. If bullying ever becomes physical or threatening, report it to the authorities or the police. Don’t stay silent I stayed silence for a really long time for Cyberbulling and verbal bullying but for the physical one I told my dad and the police took action , ur safety comes first , always
stay safe dear 🎈.

the comeback to school serie: #7 . romanticizing , productivity and procrastination

﹙ ✿ ﹚𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Romanticizing ur academic life can be incredibly effective and transformative it can genuinely help you study more, give you those dopamine breaks that keep you motivated, and make you actually excited about learning. You'll find yourself looking forward to study sessions because you've created this beautiful, aesthetic environment that feels inspiring. As someone who values aesthetics but recognizes my limitations, I've learned that even when life feels overwhelming, romanticization can be the spark that gets you moving.
BUT romanticization should be a launching pad, not a crutch. While it's incredibly valuable for certain periods especially when you're feeling burned out or unmotivated , u absolutely must build real discipline alongside it. There's a fundamental difference between romanticizing the work and actually doing the work. If you get caught up endlessly searching for the perfect aesthetic notebook, the most beautiful pens, or the ideal study setup before you'll even open a book, you've missed the point entirely. u need to be able to study regardless of whether everything looks perfect. Sometimes you'll have to buckle down and get things done with whatever resources you have. That's why discipline is absolutely essential not everyone can afford aesthetic supplies, and not everyone responds to the same motivational techniques. Think of romanticization as about 10% of the equation, while the actual work makes up the remaining 90%. Never fall into the trap of thinking "I can't study today because I'm not in the mood" or because your setup isn't perfect . You can certainly work on creating the right mood, but you can't depend on it being there every single time :
I will share 5 time of how to romantisze school :
1. Romanticize Through Role Models
The first strategy is to romanticize your life by drawing inspiration from people you genuinely admire and I mean people with real substance and values not just surface-level popularity. Think about characters from shows or movies that resonate with your goals, or real people whose work ethic and achievements inspire you. For example, many students watch Gilmore Girls and become inspired by Rory's dedication to learning and academic excellence, or they watch Legally Blonde and want to channel Elle's determination and intelligence.
For me personally, I really admire figures who embody resilience and prove doubters wrong. When someone tells me I can't do something, I use that as fuel to prove them wrong and that mindset shift has been incredibly powerful (in a positive way) I also draw inspiration from Jang Wonyoung, admiring not just her success but how she seems to approach life with intention and w a healthy mindset . The key is choosing role models who represent the kind of person you want to become, not just someone who looks good on social media.
Take time to really study what makes these people effective. What are their daily habits? How do they approach challenges? What values guide their decisions? Then start incorporating those elements into your own life and mindset.
2. Romanticize the Season and Time Period
The second strategy involves romanticizing the specific time period you're in, whether that's the season, the academic calendar, or your stage of life. Each period has its own unique energy and possibilities that you can lean into. For example, fall brings the excitement of a fresh school year new classes, new goals, maybe new clothes and supplies. You can tap into that "fresh start" energy and use it to fuel your motivation.
When exam season arrives, especially during winter months . Picture yourself waking up early in the crisp morning air, settling into your study space while it's still dark outside, working hard while the world still asleep .
The key is creating an atmosphere that matches the energy of your current season or situation. If it's finals week, lean into the intensity play study-with-me videos, create a focused environment, embrace the grind. If it's the beginning of a new semester, capture that optimistic, fresh-start feeling. Each phase of the academic year has its own rhythm, and when you align yourself with it rather than fighting it, everything becomes more natural and sustainable and u won't feel bored
3. curate your media consumption
The third strategy combines elements from the first two: be intentional about what you watch and consume during different periods. Choose shows, movies, podcasts, and other content that reinforce the academic mindset you're trying to cultivate. This doesn't mean everything has to be explicitly about studying, but it should generally align with your goals and values.
For many students, rewatching Gilmore Girls every fall has become a tradition because it captures that cozy, intellectual autumn energy perfectly for me I watch mostly C-DRAMA during the school year cuz most of them are school related so it always give me that motivation to work hard . The goal is to create a media diet that consistently reinforces your academic identity rather than undermining it.
Keep a running list of shows, movies, documentaries, and videos that make you feel motivated and focused. When you need a boost of inspiration, you'll have this curated collection ready to go. After watching an episode or two of something that aligns with your goals, you'll often find yourself naturally wanting to get back to your own work.
4. invest in quality supplies
The fourth strategy involves thoughtfully choosing supplies that genuinely enhance your study experience. This could mean investing in cute notebooks, quality pens, organizers, or other tools that make you excited to sit down and work. There's real psychological power in having supplies that you love using it can make the difference between dreading note-taking and actually looking forward to it. having pens I genuinely loved made me much more motivated to write detailed notes and keep up with my coursework. When you have tools that feel special to you, you're more likely to engage fully with your work instead of rushing through it.
However, be strategic about this. Focus your investment on items you'll use most frequently, like pens, since writing is such a fundamental part of studying. Don't get caught up in buying endless supplies that will just sit unused. The goal is to enhance your actual work, not to collect pretty things that never get touched !!
5. master your mornings
The fifth strategy focuses on how you start each day, which sets the tone for everything that follows. If you can manage it, try waking up earlier than usual not ridiculously early like 3 AM (don't do that to urself) , but whatever feels like "early" for your natural rhythm. claiming those quiet morning hours for yourself before the day's demands take over is so calmiiing
I plan to make a detailed blog about waking up early, but for now here's what works for me so far : set your alarm for a time that gives you some peaceful morning space, and try incorporating morning pages into your routine ofc prepare for urself a drink ! . You don't need to do this every single day I do it three times a week, typically Sunday, Monday, and Friday. Morning pages involve sitting at your desk with a notebook and writing about how you want your day to unfold. You're essentially setting intentions and visualizing success before the day begins.
This practice is incredibly helpful when you write even half a page to a full page about your day ahead. Over time, you'll start to love this ritual, and you'll find yourself reaching for it whenever you're feeling anxious about the day ahead or struggling to get moving in the morning. It's a simple way to take control of your mindset before external pressures have a chance to influence you.
﹙ ✿ ﹚ 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲
Romanticization is the spark but productivity is ur engine. Without it all the aesthetic notebooks won't actually get you anywhere. Real productivity isn't about grinding yourself into the ground it's about rewiring your entire mindset so that action becomes automatic and progress feels inevitable.
Sometimes the choices that leave you feeling completely lost are exactly the ones sculpting your future self. Believe in yourself first, and you've already cleared half the hurdles. Hesitation breeds stagnation, but determination is a magnet for opportunities. The energy you carry ur focus, your commitment, your relentless refusal to settle ripples out and changes everything around you.
productivity isn't about turning yourself into a machine it's about creating a system where consistent action becomes automatic and progress feels inevitable.
Remember this: motivation follows action, not the other way around. You don't wait until you feel ready you start messy, start scared, start unprepared, and let momentum build as you go. Even the smallest steps compound into something massive. Persistence beats perfection every single time.
Every assignment you complete, every goal you hit, every time you choose to show up even when you don't want to , u're not just being productive u're becoming the kind of person who doesn't just dream about their future but actively creates it.
the strategic side: working smarter, not just harder
Real productivity isn't about doing everything. it's about doing the right things efficiently.
master the art of selective engagement
Not every opportunity, class, or task deserves your FULL attention. Before diving into anything, ask yourself two crucial questions: Will this actually move me forward? This isn't about being lazy it's about being strategic with your most valuable resource ur time and mental energy . For example one time we had an English exam the next day and a math exam the day after. Since we’re literature students, English is way more important for our overall performance. But a girl in my class chose to revise math instead, and she ended up with a 7/20 in English . In subjects that really matter, getting below 10 is tough to recover from, even if you score a 20 in math .
time-boxing is your secret weapon
Set a timer for everything . That essay that usually takes you three hours give yourself 90 minutes and watch your efficiency skyrocket. The pressure creates focus, and focus creates results keep that in mind . It's the same energy you feel during exams that sharp, clear urgency that cuts through all the noise and gets things done . I’ve never studied for more than 3 hours a day, because with full focus I always finish earlier.
turn mistakes into gold mines
Don't just correct your errors and move on , mine them for everything they're worth. When you mess up, resist the urge to immediately fix it. Instead, figure out "why" u got it wrong first. What concept were you missing? What pattern didn't you recognize? Then go back and tackle it properly. One mistake thoroughly understood is worth ten problems mindlessly completed.
this is optional .. !
Those moments walking between classes, waiting for the bus, standing in line that's not wasted time that's opportunity . Your brain actually retains information better when you're moving, so use those transition moments to review vocabulary, run through formulas, or mentally rehearse presentations. Five minutes here and there adds up to hours of extra learning time.
What really helped me was the day I grabbed a small notebook and started writing down summaries of philosophy , french lessons and important English vocabulary. Now, whenever I have exams coming up in those subjects, I just pull out that notebook and quickly review all the key points. It's better than 45944 notes paper.
plan your focused time during scattered moments
Use those in-between moments to mentally map out your intensive work sessions. While you're walking or during other low-focus activities, think through what you need to accomplish later: What's the most important task? How long will it realistically take? What order makes the most sense? This mental prep means when you sit down to actually work, you hit the ground running instead of wasting precious focused time figuring out what to do first.
The bottom line is productivity isn't about doing more it's about creating systems that make your efforts count DOUBLE. When you combine the right mindset with smart strategies, you don't just get things done. You get the right things done, efficiently, and with energy left over to actually enjoy the results.
﹙ ✿ ﹚ 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 : 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱
procrastination isn't just about being "lazy." It's your brain's way of protecting you from discomfort, uncertainty, and the possibility of not being perfect . But procrastination is actually easier to beat than you think , u just need the right approach and a commitment to consistency.
the 5-day rule:
if you can do something consistently for just 5 days, you won't want to give up on day 5. just five consecutive days of showing up, and your brain will start craving the routine instead of fighting it .
Why does this work it's because momentum is a psychological force. Each day you show up builds evidence that you're the kind of person who follows through. By day 5, breaking the streak feels worse than continuing it .
the "work first, rest later" mindset
For procrastination, the biggest trap is telling yourself, “I’ll rest first, then I’ll get it done later.” It sounds comforting in the moment, but it always backfires. You scroll TikTok for two hours, then suddenly it’s midnight and you’re rushing your essay with guilt hanging over your head. That’s not real rest it’s stress in disguise. Real rest feels ten times sweeter when it’s earned.
Procrastination promises you comfort now, but it leaves you with regret later. That’s why the mindset shift is so important: do it now, rest after. Because the pain of discipline is light as a feather, but the pain of regret is heavy as a MOUNTAIN. Don’t let this semester turn into another cycle of avoidance and guilt . Sometimes, by pushing through the thing you least want to do, you unlock exactly what you’ve been wanting all along !
why your brain loves to procrastinate (and how to outsmart it)
Your procrastination usually falls into these patterns:
- the perfectionist trap : you want everything to be flawless, so you avoid starting because "imperfect" feels like failure
- the overwhelm spiral : The task feels too big, too complex, too much, so your brain just... nopes out
- the instant gratification switch : Why do hard work now when you can scroll, watch videos, or do literally anything that gives immediate pleasure?
here's how you beat each one:
crush perfectionism with the "good enough" start :
Don't aim for perfect aim for started. Set a timer for 5 minutes and commit to working on the simplest part of your task. Maybe it's just reviewing what you need to do, or writing one paragraph, or solving one problem. The goal isn't perfection it's momentum.
demolish overwhelm with micro-goals :
That massive exam preparation break it down until it's almost embarrassingly simple. Instead of "write the entire essay," make your goal "write the first sentence." Instead of "study for the exam," make it "review one page of notes." When tasks are bite-sized, your brain stops seeing them as threats . write a study to do list before every study session ! I've always been do it ! Like this

redirect your focus like a pro
Here's a mental shift that changes everything: stop focusing on completing everything and start focusing on completing what's right in front of you. Don't think about the 10 assignments due this week think about the one task you can knock out in the next 20 minutes.
the psychology of small wins
Every tiny task you complete is sending a signal to your brain: "We do hard things. We follow through. We are reliable." This is about rewiring your identity. make a list. cross things off. celebrate the small victories , ur brain craves that hit of accomplishment, and the more you feed it, the more it will crave productive action over procrastination.
The truth about procrastination it's just a habit and like any habit, it can be broken with the right approach and enough consistency. Give yourself 5 days of showing up, use these strategies, and watch how quickly your relationship with productivity transforms. good luck 🍀

Introduction post for my First Blog!
Hi! You can call me Nevi, that is because I created this account and at some point came across one of my favourite blogs ever @bloomzone who happens to have a similar username as the one that I chose for myself which is such a cute coincidence in my opinion!
I have been thinking about creating a blog for a really long time but I kept procrastinating it because I didn't know how to go about it but I have decided that I will figure things out along the way.
So, the way that this introduction post will go will be sort of like this (I love structure and organization and you'll notice that in the way that I write as I post too + I also love Oxford commas, it is what it is):
Some rules when interacting with my account/blog
About me
Table of Content and What you can Expect from my Blog
Some rules and Clarifications/General Info Before we Start!
.........................................................................................................................
I'm a 20y old (Minors DO NOT interact and if I follow you on accident while scrolling PLEASE let me know so that I can unfollow you asap, please be mindful of being beware of strangers and be careful of strangers and creeps who keep lurking around in various social media platforms, you will never get a message from me in any way and if you do get one supposedly from me, BLOCK them right away and let me know so that I can post the creepy account and so that we can mass report the creepy account. Again, be safe in social media, ALWAYS).
On a fitness and healing journey: Recovered from 4n4 succesfully and happily, and currently working on healing my B3D dis0rder in a healthy way with no restrictions, pure nutrition and doing exercise out of love for fitness instead of pressure <3<3 - Pro Recovery so let me say, If u r considering it, go ahead, you won`t regret it !!!!
My ultimate goal is to get toned so that I can have lots of muscles and so that I can be healthy, strong, confident and energized!
.......................................................................................................................
About Me and my Interests!
career and studies
I am currently working and also awaiting enrollment openings for University on the next year, I used to study Economics (which I still have a place in my heart for), but due to a whole lot of several reasons I am changing my career so that I can one day be a kindergarten Teacher! I want to have a career in Education and I'm really excited because I have a lot of ambition and I LOVE LEARNING so much.
Also today I took my First Actual Pilates class and kind of fell IN LOVE WITH IT so I just want to mention that as an extra side business I'm considering that besides education I could become a Pilates teacher and one day lead a small gymnasium so that I can train along others after school hours (once I become a teacher lol). So, I am so so so so excited about the future!
interests and hobbies
I'm that kind of person that relates to Sylvia Plath when it comes to choosing the one fig from the tree, because I want to do so so many things and I'm working on both organizing my schedule to fit in everything I want to do and also managing and distributing my energy to be able to complete all of my activities succesfully. Currently my main interests are:
Fitness, training, and pilates: walking on the treadmill, gaining muscle, training and stretching on the mat, I truly love it so so much, fitness is key in both my physical and mental health and my life would not be complete without it. I'm also on a diet and training regimen (more on my recovery from 3d'z and trying to get to my goals in healthier ways and in more compassionate ways laterrr...).
Music, songwriting, Piano (actually a keyboard for obvious reasons), Guitar (both acoustic and electric): these are core hobbies that I have always wanted to indulge in, yet even though I've had the opportunity for over a year to learn how to play these, because of guilt (that I'm not doing something "more productive"), work, and also struggles with fitting things into my schedules (and more reasons actually), I have yet to learn these. Which is insane because whenever I listen to music I get so immersed and almost obsessed with it, I am sure that if I dedicate it time, that I'll fall in love even deeper with it. I don't wanna postpone it anymore. Also! If u have any tips please share them!
..........................................................................................................................
What you can expect from my blog!
As a person with multiple interests, you'll find:
Book reading plans, short book reviews and recommendations, interesting find and lists of books I wanna read. Feel free to recomend any with the reason why!
Videos, Interviews, Ted Talks, that I thouth were incredibly insightful in some sort of way, or videos that you might find to be helpful or motivating.
My love for fitness and my healing journey, exercise routines, self compassion and healthy habits, reflections on actions, feelings about the process, etc.
Music reviews (songs, albums, artists, songwriting): because I always have so many thoughts or things I'm excited about but I don't necesarilly want to overwhelm someone with all kinds of details, so I would share these things for anyone who is as obsessed with me (or at the very least somehow interested) when it comes to music so that we can indulge in the beauty of the details of such an incredible creative process.
Maybe painting (? I would like to learn how to make cute doodles and drawings but it is not my priority now, so maybe in the long term future!
Videogames (ACNH, Stardew Valley, Coral Island, and some more!)
Learning proccess of songwriting and poetry writing which I'm also eager to learn as soon as I can somehow fit it into my schedlu.
General reflections, advice, or quotes that I think you might find helpful <3
..........................................................................................................................
I am probably missing something but I won't let my perfectionistic impulses from stopping me from writing, creating, and hopefully helping someone along the way or Making Someone's Day Better with my writings! So thank you if you took the time to read this whole thing and I'm looking to have moots and to read and learn and get culturized by other people!
THANK YA SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME <3 HAVE A BLAST AND WISH YA WELL!!!!

Hi bloom! I’m a student in senior high school (g11), but I’m unsure about what course and job I want in the future. My family keeps on pressuring me to attend nursing school, but I’m not interested, and I don’t know what to do. Do you have any advice on how to figure out my future career? Thank you !!!
hiii angel hope u are having a great day ! and I feel u smsmsmsmsmsm I've been there to so dw I will try my best to help u out !
Focus on your interests first
Instead of stressing about jobs .. try to explore the subjects and fields that genuinely excite u. Look into programs or courses that match your interests, read about what students do in those programs . The more you understand what you love studying, the easier it will be to explain it to your family , get everyday knowledge about what u want to study cuz to found what u love look at what u are good . if you want to study a certain field, show them your strengths in that area .
Do your research
Since you’re in Grade 11, it’s the perfect time to research the potential majors you’re interested in. Make a list of programs, what they involve, and where they can lead in the future. When you show your parents that you’ve thought carefully it helps them see that your choices are serious and responsible.
Pick the right moment to talk
Timing matters a looooooooot! Avoid starting this conversation when your parents are stressed, busy, or angry. Instead, wait for a calm moment and gently explain your thoughts. You can say something like, “I’ve been thinking about my future and I want to share what I’m interested in studying because I want to plan responsibly.” don't show stress or anxiety while talking !
Show maturity and responsibility
in my opinion this is really important, work hard in school and be responsible at home. This is POWERFUL evidence for your parents (yk parents how they are) that you’re capable of making thoughtful decisions. When they see you balancing your studies, responsibilities, and personal growth, it becomes much harder for them to dismiss your choices.
Present the positive side
Focus on the bright side of what you want to study. Explain how it can lead to a meaningful career, personal satisfaction, or even opportunities abroad. Make it clear that your goal isn’t just “doing whatever you want,” but planning a successful and fulfilling future.
Be patient and consistent
Don’t expect them to immediately agree ofc bring it up calmly over time like time to time and keep showing them through your actions and achievements that your path is valid. Over time, as they see your commitment, they’ll start trusting your decisions more.
Share your limitations honestly
THIS IS SO IMPORTANT for ex someone pushes you toward nursing , explain that you might not be strong or interested in certain subjects. Trying something you aren’t suited for can hurt both you and them, and it could waste your future so what is the best study and suffer in something u like or study and suffer in something u don't like ? . Be honest about your skills and passions, and show that pursuing what u love is safer and more productive than forcing yourself into a field you’re not good at.
I’ve been there too! It took me a year to make my dad believe I could succeed in humanities and lit even though he kept insisting I stick math . Being a “humanities or lit student” is tricky these days because many people say there’s no path, and my dad was really hard to convince. But I proved him wrong through dedication and hard work, and it’s been a year and a half now. Even now, he still mentions economics and he really want to choose eco in uni but ain't no way cuz I'm A NOOB in math I can't do something I'm not good at cuz I know that forcing myself into something I wasn’t good at will hurt both me and him. You can do the same show them that following your passion is the way to succeed.
Long-term perspective
Ultimately, once you finish high school ur career path becomes your choice. ur parents’ role is guidance, but they won’t make the decision for you forever. Show them your thoughtfulness and maturity, and they’ll respect your decisions more than you think !!!! goooood luck 🍀
