John: I also got him a cat.

Ghost: Looks like we had the same idea.

Yelena: Bucky, please tell me you didn't get Bob a cat as well!

Bucky: ...I got him a kitten.

Thunderbolts* and Six of Crows are pretty similar - they’re both about a group of anti-heroes (with very different personalities) who have all done bad things and don’t quite fit in anywhere, so they make their own ‘found family’ and end up doing crazy shit together. The characters are mirrors of each other as well:

Bucky = Kaz

Both are stoic, grumpy guys who have A LOT of trauma relating to the past

Have lost people that they had a close bond with (Jordie and Steve)

Have built walls around themselves and only let a select few people see their true selves (Kaz with Inej and Bucky with Steve and Sam)

Yelena = Inej

Got taken away from their families as children and forced to become something they didn’t want to be (Inej working in pleasure house and Yelena becoming a Widow)

Both are skilled fighters and can be very stealthy when needed

Puts on a tough front and acts strong, but has moments of vulnerability

Alexei = Jesper

Both bring chaotic energy to their respective groups

They use humour to lighten the mood in serious situations

Masks their sadness / regret through being the ‘unserious wild card’

Bob = Wylan

Sweet and adorable cinnamon rolls who end up being adopted by their groups

They each have a hidden past that eventually gets discovered (Wylan being the son of a Merch and Bob being Sentry, in addition to his medical conditions and home life)

Finds the care and support from their groups that they’ve never had up until meeting them

Ava = Nina

Always has a sassy comeback ready to use when someone does something annoying or stupid

Both have jobs for higher organisation (Nina being a spy for the Grisha / Ravka and Ava being an operative for Valentina)

Both have struggled with their powers at some point (Ava in Ant-Man and the Wasp and Nina having hers altered because of Jurda Parem), but have overcome that and become stronger

John = Matthias

Was someone important before being cast out or betrayed (Captain America and Drüskelle)

They get to a point where they both doubt their purpose before picking themselves up and finding it again with the help of others

Clashes with others and can be slightly abrasive at times, but can still work well as part of a team

Bucky: So. Who broke it? I'm not mad, I just wanna know.

Everyone:

Bob: ...I did. I broke it.

Bucky: No. No you didn't. Walker?

John: Don't look at me. Look at Yelena.

Yelena: What?! I didn't break it.

John: Huh, that's weird. How'd you even know it was broken?

Yelena: Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken!

John: Suspicious.

Yelena: No, it's not!

Bob: Okay let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Bucky.

Bucky: No! Who broke it!?

Everyone:

Red Guardian: Bucky... Ghost has been awfully quiet.

Ghost: REALLY?!

*Everyone starts arguing*

Bucky, being interviewed: I broke it. I burned my hand so I punched it.

Bucky: I predict that they'll be having a nerf war with warpaint on their faces 10 minutes from now.
