Be a voice, not an echo. If you want your art, the book you are writing or even your opinion to mean something, you have to be the one to make it happen. None of that existed until you made it. Put your mark on the world, even if it is only a small one, it's still your mark.

Person A: He was strong and independent. He didn't care about what happened to him, but rather what happened to everyone else. He put his life on the line to save everyone, including me. But even with his magic it just wasn't enough.

She decided to help them rescue their friend who is trapped in a prison of torture. Once she helps them rescue said friend, one of them opens a portal to exit. She decided to stay back until everyone was through, but when she was about to exit, the portal started to close. She knew she had to rush, but felt a hand on her (insert clothing) and she gets yanked back in.
