I see a olive green with a few short lines of red through it..

Not everyone sees the same color when they stare at this spinning disk.

The gif is called, “Benham’s disk“ “is named after the English toymaker Charles Benham, who in 1895 sold a top painted with the pattern shown. When the disk is spun, arcs of pale color, called Fechner colors or pattern-induced flicker colors (PIFCs), are visible at different places on the disk. Not everyone sees the same colors.”

“The phenomenon originates from neural activity in the retina and spatial interactions in the primary visual cortex, which plays a role in encoding low-level image features, such as edges and spatiotemporal frequency components.”

The Lockhart bar has opened at Dufferin and Dundas in Toronto, ON!

It’s a Harry Potter themed bar, the name is obviously inspired, and has many little fandom references. There are drinks called ‘The Shacklebolt’ and ‘Ludo’s Debt’ but they also have non Harry Potter themed drinks like ‘The Captain Picard’, ‘Big Bad Wolf’, and ‘Dr. Manhattan’. This place looks awesome and if it keeps up it could become the Harry Potter version of The Way Station!

And the co-owners being pretty definitely doesn’t hurt :)

info on the agents of shield vs agent carter dubsmash war from hayley atwell’s london comic con talk yesterday

hayley talked about how competitive she and james d'arcy got and how they were devastated when the shield cast did the video with clark gregg dressed as peggy. and then she said how james was basically like “well, there’s only one option. we have to fly to atlanta, we have to get chris evans involved”. so chris evans was texted, his response: “you guys are crazy. i love it, let’s do it”. so they just decided to fly to atlanta to enlist chris evans’ help.

hayley atwell and james d'arcy literally booked a last minute 5 hour trip to atlanta, just to film a 7 second video with chris evans, and then fly back again
