Day 30 - Aromantisicm is one of many Romantic orientations. An aromantic is a person who experiences little or no romantic attraction to others. People identifying as aromantic can also experience romance in a way otherwise disconnected from normative societal expectations (for example due to feeling repulsed by romance, or being uninterested in romantic relationships.) Where alloromantic people have an emotional need to be with another person in a romantic relationship, aromantics are often satisfied with friendships and other non-romantic relationships. The aromantic attribute is usually considered to be innate and not a personal choice, just as the lack of sexual attraction is innate to asexuals. It is important to note that aromantic people do not lack emotional/personal connection, but most simply have no instinctual need to develop connections of a romantic nature. Day 26 - The questioning of one's sexual orientation, sexual identity, gender, or all three is a process of exploration by people who may be unsure, still exploring, or concerned about applying a social label to themselves for various reasons. The letter "Q" is sometimes added to the end of the acronym LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender); the "Q" can refer to either queer or questioning. Sexual orientation, sexual identity, or gender does not always coincide with each other; meaning for example, if an individual identifies themselves as a heterosexual, they may not only be attracted to someone of the opposite sex and have sexual interactions with someone who is of the same sex without necessarily identifying themselves as bisexual. Day 25 - Non-binary gender (also called NB) describes any gender identity which does not fit the male and female binary spectrum. Those with non-binary genders can feel that they: •Have an androgynous (both masculine and feminine) gender identity, such as androgyne. •Have an identity between male and female, such as intergender. •Have a neutral or unrecognized gender identity, such as agender, neutrois, or most xenogenders. •Have multiple gender identities, such as bigender or pangender. •Have a gender identity which varies over time, known as genderfluid. •Have a weak or partial connection to a gender identity, known as demigender. •Are intersex and identify as intersex, known as amalgagender •Have a Galactian Alignment identity, created to describe genders without using binary terms. •Have a culturally specific gender identity which exists only within their or their ancestor's culture. •Identify as a thirdgender that doesn't exactly exist only within a specific culture such as Proxvir, Juxera, or Maverique. Non-binary people may also identify as transgender and/or transsexual. The label genderqueer has a lot of overlap with non-binary. Non-binary is often seen as the preferred term, as "queer" may be used as a transphobic insult. Non-binary people can use any pronoun they desire to use. The majority of Non-binary people commonly use They/Them pronouns, but since pronouns do not always correspond to gender, they can use any pronouns. For example, a nonbinary person who is femenine may use she/her pronouns due to being comfortable with such. Some may use all/any pronouns, and not have a preference. Some may prefer they pronouns, but are okay with any. Day 24 - Intergender is a gender identity that has two contradictory opinions on how it should be used: 1.Intergender can be used by both dyadic people and intersex people who feel between male and female. 2.Intergender is inappropriate for dyadic people and is to be used only by intersex people because they need words that correlate with their bodies. Dyadic people should use a different word such as androgyne. As an identity, intergender can be considered to be between male and female, or to be a combination of the two. Intergender people may also identify as nonbinary, genderqueer and/or transgender. However, some intergender people consider themselves cisgender, as their gender is reflective of their sex characteristics at birth. Intergender people can have any gender expression or sexual orientation. Intergender is different from Ipso gender which is intersex people agreeing with the sex they were assigned at birth. Day 23 - Androgyny is the combination of masculine and feminine characteristics into an ambiguous form. Androgyny may be expressed with regard to biological sex, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual identity. When androgyny refers to mixed biological sex characteristics in humans, it often refers to intersex people. As a gender identity, androgynous individuals may refer to themselves as non-binary, genderqueer, or gender neutral. As a form of gender expression, androgyny can be achieved through personal grooming, fashion, or a certain amount of THT treatment. They may or may not identify as another gender in addition to feeling partially a boy or man. Demiguy can be used to describe someone assigned male at birth who feels barely connected or disconnected to that identification, but who usually does not experience a significant enough dissociation to create real physical discomfort or dysphoria.
