Comfort of loneliness

⋆⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺⋆

If it were only solitude, it would not strike me so deeply in this state.

But nostalgia and dense thoughts fill my days, nostalgia for times never lived, for moments not yet come.

The refuge in my own company is permissible, for only I can share this melancholy with myself.

No other soul is capable of understanding me, and so I dream, day and night, of a soul that might understand me even just a little.

I do not fully believe in soulmates, for I feel my soul is vast and infinite, too great to be bound to only one.

Yet the longing to be understood in my seclusion, in my isolation, with my head among the clouds, is strong and painful.

Nostalgia and melancholy frame my face, with tears ever on the verge of my lashes.

I, who try to mask the sadness, decorating the windows of my soul with the color of deep black coffee.

Even today, I will not weep, for I have no reason to shed tears.

They are but emotions, nothing lived.

And that saddens me.

If only I had truly lived my melancholy, I could weep these nostalgic tears I carry with me every day.

And each time the sky changes color, I find myself in a time machine.

When I created this account, I had other ideas… But after being on tumblr for years, especially this last two years… I didn’t think my inspiration would get noticed.

And to be honest I’ve always been to scared to put myself and thoughts out there.

The posts (written) with more visuals, are about beauty, self care, pilates, “how to survive at school”.

So I just followed the “trend” if so it can be called.

My original thought was inspired by the well known serie Gossip Girl, which I’ve loved since I was a little girl.

Don’t get me wrong, I love giving advices and helping people. But I wanted a space where I could interact with the girlies, get asks or stories I can reply and help out (in anonymous or not).

This is the sunday reset I made for you, its cold season; school, work and sports take us a lot of time to actually take care of ourselves and surroundings.

This list its going to help you not only organise, but also get relaxed on your rest day!

Clean your room, if you’re a procrastinator this can help you… ✎ᝰ

౨ৎ Start by emptying your bed of everything on it, including sheets and pillows, and toss them in the washer. Put a new sheet on your bed (clean or not—it’s temporary).

You’ll need this as a space to place all your clean clothes that aren’t organized yet, like those on the floor or fresh from the laundry.

౨ৎ Next, gather any items around your room that are out of place, whether it’s makeup, hair tools, socks, or anything else. Organize them carefully, keeping in mind that knowing where things are is the key to organization.

౨ৎ Now, clean your room by gathering all trash into a trash bag. Bring a bag with you, so you can toss anything you don’t need right away. A clean space is a clear mind! Spray and wipe down surfaces, organizing them as you go. Then, clear your floor, sweep, and mop! I like adding fragrances, essential oils, or Fabuloso to the mop water for a fresh scent.

౨ৎ Next, set a relaxing mood put on some music, a show, or a podcast and sit on your bed to fold your clean clothes. This helps keep your mind occupied while you get things done. Now is also a great time to refresh your room’s scent with incense, a diffuser with essential oils, or a fabric refresher spray.

౨ৎ Once you’re done folding clothes, make your bed with fresh sheets and pillowcases. Now that your room is clean and cozy, light a candle and take some time for yourself. Hop in the shower for your everything shower: scrub, shave, and pamper yourself (you can use my shower guide for tips to smell amazing). Finish up with skincare, a face mask, and some time to relax.

౨ৎ If you’re a student, this is a perfect moment to review your notes, organize your school bag, or read your current book. Now you’re fresh, relaxed, and ready to take on the week.

I always did not love summer at all, even tho I was born in July, mid summer.

Thats because I always felt better on cold seasons and I recently discovered that i'm such a pro on romanticizing autumn.

This are all little things to do to make yourself enjoy the cold season have fun with it…✎ᝰ

౨ৎ Clean your room and if you can, change the position of your bed near the window, I love getting up and seeing the view.

౨ৎ Find some recipes and bake! If you need some ideas let me know (I'm obsessed with pumpkin muffins and strudel I can drop the recipes)

I love cooking and it makes me feel better anytime.

౨ৎ Get a cute mug and make you some hot drinks! If you love tea and herbs like me start a collection, get you all kinds and flavors.

౨ৎ Go trhifting with a friend or without one. Its such a cute and relaxing activity, get a hot drink on the way!

౨ৎ Go for candles shopping or just smell them its such a soul heal.

౨ৎ Make a playlist and go for a walk! Music and atmosfere are key. Let me know if you want one from me!

౨ৎ Get a new haircut or a new hair color. Personally I love me some layers and a brown chocolate head.

౨ৎ Buy vogue.

౨ৎ Find a new makeup routine, you can look for some on tik tok or pinterest, obv do what compliments your skin tone and features but here's some cute ones: aria montgomery makeup tutorial, helena gilbert makeup, cindy kimberly makeup inspo, slavic doll makeup tuto.

If you're into full glam, 2000's mom kinda makeup like me I suggest some jessica alba, stockholm makeup, old kim k kinda makeup!

౨ৎ Look for cute hobbies, book scrapping, journaling, memory boxes or reading (please ask me for a readig list pleaseee, I'm dying to make one for you)

Find a penpals!!!! So cute, I love love love this little thingy I always start on september cause there's when I don't feel like crap to do anything.

Do it, literally. You can find some here on tumblr or tik tok it's always well loved receiving letters!

౨ৎ Invest in good comfy slippers or some uggs

౨ৎ Look for good colors of the season that looks good on you or you like and get items of that color, lipsticks, scarfs, bags, nails...
