Mr. Ring-A-Ding x trans!Reader

R/P-right pronouns

He’s from the 1930s, a time where there was little knowledge/acceptance of trans/enby people. He’s very supportive of course, but you have to explain some stuff before he really gets it

He is one of those that when he sees any sort of Pride thing (even if it doesn't pertain to you) he'll point and shake your shoulder, “Sweetie-pie, look! It's you!”

If you get dysphoria, he's your man. He keys you borrow from his array of clothing from previous episodes

If your transmasc you get ties and suits from when he dresses fancy, and if you're transfemme you get pretty dresses and hair pins from when he cross dresses. Enbies, just take your pick from the ensemble

He's not perfect with pronouns, but he does his best. A slip-up generally follows with an “oopsie-daisies! I mean R/P-”

I like to think he's nuts about the parades. He loves running around and looking at all the pretty colors ‘n stuff

All-in-all he's just a kindhearted little toon who loves you and wants to support you in any way he can 💘

Hey sorry it's been a few days but I had some crazy stuff going on in real life and it's all good now so i'm picking this back up!! I'm working on a full length fic right now.

I saw your posts for requests for Mr. Ring-A-Ding/Lux Imperator, and i didn’t miss a change to go i to your inbox LOL. But can you Mr. Ring-A-Ding with a friend/partner who LOVES the dark. Like could you imagine them being polar opposites, but somehow making it work. I feel like that would be a roller coaster for both the Reader and Lux/Ring.

Lux x Reader who loves the dark 

He’s obviously pretty fond of light 

But he’s willing to make some compromises to make it work with you

You want the light off when you’re going to sleep, but he wants it on- so you get him a lightning bug night-light to have 

He puts up glow-in-the-dark planets/stars on the walls 

It’s not like he just doesn't like the dark, he’s afraid of it. Light gives him his abilities, ao he associates it with being powerless and vulnerable 

He’s pretty embarrassed about his nyctophobia, being an all-mighty god or whatever. It’s not like it can hurt him! But he warms up to the idea that you won’t make fun of him, or anything like that 

There are many arguments about whether to leave the lights on when you leave the room 

He has no problem with waking you up in the morning by just turning on the overhead light and watching you ungracefully wake up 

Sometimes, when you both are really relaxed and cuddling together, he lets you dim the light and just curls up in your lap; his abdomen starts emitting a soft golden glow, courtesy of his firefly-like design.

Proposal headcanons 

He’s doing the cartoon-y “sweating bullets” thing 

He dressed up a bit, added a bit of flair to his outfit; swapped his iconic yellow bowler for a top hat 

The Toon is a nervous, giggling mess. Doing the silly “turning away and spraying perfume in his mouth” thing 

Stage proposal. All I have to say, I think. 

All theatrics- the stage light gets brought out (thank you Mr. Pyeeee) and shines on you both 

He gets down on one knee, pulls out a box and opens it, revealing a beautiful ring and starts “Y/N, I-” 

AND DROPS THE RING. 

THIS MAN DROPS THE RING. 

It goes flying out of his large blue fingers and rolls out somewhere into the audience seats 

Then there's the comedic “wait right here-” and the sonic ‘revving up’ of his legs and he takes off looking for it 

When he finds it he rushes back to his spot on the stage and snaps at the projecting window for the light to refocus. He giggles, smoothes back his hair and mutters “take two.” 

Obvs you say yes 

He scoops you up and spins you around, holding you tight while peppering kisses to your face 

Looks up at Mr. Pye in the projector room and does something along the lines of winking or wolf whistling 

It’s his way of thanking Reggie for being his wingman
