The Chilly Killer

So this idea has been in my head for a while and I think I'm going to work on it next after I finish Book 2 of the Lullaby series... the blurb for the book is...

They always said that Frosty's hat was made of magic... What if it wasn't just magic? What if it was the soul of the previous owner?

Every fifty years or so, his hat finds it's way back into the hands of children... Every fifty years or so, he gets to kill again. Now, in modern Whitechapel, his hat has found it's way into the hands of two little boys and he gets to prowl the streets once more. This time it isn't as easy to find women of the night like it used to be. Will Jack the Ripper get away with another season of killing, or will someone finally catch onto his act?

Blocking Love

So everyone out there, one of my characters, Dom, is coming face-to-face with the woman he left behind because he was ashamed of his own deformity among the enhanced of the community they came to. I'm at the point of writing their confrontation, because this woman is mad... Any ideas, how would you keep blocking the person you love if you thought it would keep them safe?
