Koi 🐟

La carpa koi (锦鲤, Nishikigoi in Giapponese) trova le sue origini nel XIX secolo nella prefettura di Niigata. Oggi è uno dei pesci più diffusi ed apprezzati dell’intero pianeta e non solo per la sua bellezza. La carpa (“Koi” in giapponese appunto) è sempre in movimento ed è considerata uno dei pesci con più energia e forza. E’ inoltre in grado di nuotare controcorrente, e ciò viene interpretato sia come una rappresentazione anticonformista (la forza di non seguire la corrente, bensì di seguire la propria via indipendentemente dal resto) che come forza di superare le avversità.
