Help LGBT+ Couple Find Safety in Canada

My partner and I are looking to seek asylum in Canada due to recent events (see under cut for details, TW: sensitive topics) and need assistance with finances in order to pay our bus trip. CashApp: $kinnicki

More info: Over the past week, my partner and I have almost been kidnapped/trafficked 4 times and have received numerous verbal threats of violence including (but not limited to) threats of murder, threats of r-pe, threats of being robbed, threats of being mugged, threats of our cats being killed, threats of people stealing our cats, etc.

Due to this, we no longer feel safe in the US (as we have seen from experience that moving locations in the country, state to state, changes nothing).

I want to bring up that, while I don't agree with sexualizing the armor on women, I also don't agree with taking the molding around the chest area either. Yes, modern armor is more efficient. That's why we've all but done away with chestplate armor. We have bulletproof vests, foam laced armor, etc. OP was not wrong that those are more efficient.

However, these movies are taking place in a place/time where those methods are not available. Therefore, women would have worn what was available. In a place/time where chestplates are the most efficient method of armor there is, women would equip themselves accordingly.

While it may not have been good for their ribs, wearing a masculine chestplate would have been much worse. And a man's chestplate would have squished a woman's breasts. Not to mention that men and women are essentially built so differently that the chestplate would a) not fit correctly and/or b) not protect the woman wearing it to the highest efficiency at that time.

I am not saying this as a way of saying "Oh, let women wear feminine armor" but instead "If metal armor was the norm, women would likely benefit more from this kind of armor rather than armor that was crafted for a man"

But still- don't sexualize.

and i mean in every fictional setting like fantasy, scifi, etc but here are two prime examples:

these are both………… pretty weird. i get that wonder woman’s outfit has been the same since 1941 but she still serves as a good example, and idek what’s going on with valkyrie. a lot of people praise this for being “feminine but functional” but this still means there’s some armor smith out there carefully molding breastplates to fit each individual boob (as per that one tumblr post going around that i don’t have the link to).

here’s an example of real life armor on women:

there you go. some real women wearing real armor made for real combat situations. now listen, i’ve worn this and yeah—– this shit’s functional. and no, it doesn’t squish your boobs in, no matter what you’re doing. it actually fits quite snugly despite how it looks. see how no effort was made to have individual boobs poke through? that’s because that shit ain’t necessary. in fact the breast molding would be pretty terrible for your rib cage but i’m sure you’ve all seen that post.
