Sorry this isn’t the GhostBat fanart :( I have been struggling to find the motivation to work on it. ( I’m not giving up on it I just don’t want to work on it rn)

One of those “you see in color when you meet your soulmate” AUs but with GhostBat

Khoa catches Bruce when he stumbles but it’s still dark out and everything is covered in snow and they don’t realize that it happened until they see the sun rising over the mountain peaks an hour later and it’s warm and colorful and the most beautiful thing they’ve ever seen.

Many years (and many breakups) later, Khoa can’t take away Bruce’s ability to “see” the world, but he can make sure that Bruce sees him the same way everyone else does. He designs his Ghost-Maker suit in whites and grays and blacks, void of color, because Bruce doesn’t deserve to see him.

He takes satisfaction in knowing that the world is only beautiful to Bruce, because of him, and he makes damn sure that when Bruce looks at him, there is nothing to see. He makes sure that it hurts Bruce as much as Bruce has hurt him.

And it’s only because he still loves Bruce that he later contradicts himself and fixes blue (the color of Bruce’s eyes) LEDs to his helmet.
