My mother always said that after death there is always heaven, because life is the most terrible thing you could have.
but what if I don’t find peace of mind even after death?

Marriage is a play by Nikolai Gogol, written in 1832. This is my favourite play in Russian. Meant to be read and seen.
What makes this play great? It is remarkable for an unusual ending for that time. Spoilers. The main characters have neither a bad ending nor a good one. They neither die nor get married.
I have seen Marriage in the theatre and I loved every second of it. I wish I could see Koshevoy (famous Russian actor whom you may know as Raskolnikov from The crime and punishment) performing as Podkolyosin.
You may have some difficulties if you are not completely familiar with the Russian culture of that time, but I still recommend it.

I am obsessed with Steven’s flat. Look at those stacks of books (are they all about Egypt?). It is so habitable and picturesque.
I wish I could have something like that for myself, but I do not like country I am living in. In fact, I have changed three countries in the past two years. I do not have my own space I can turn into my home.
(We found this book yesterday but I am not sure if it is worth 17€)
