“I fall in love. Over and over again. And each time it ends catastrophically. But here is where it gets hard. The person I fall in love with each time is YOU.”
—Daniel Grigori
Currently reading Fallen by Lauren Kate.

Daniel and Luce are caught in a cycle of love and loss, where Luce is reincarnated repeatedly, and Daniel must earn Luce’s affection in each of her lifetimes. Despite the recurring tragedies they face, his love remains constant.
“I do all of these things,” Daniel said, leaning into her so that their foreheads touched, “because you’re my love, Lucinda. For me, you’re all there is.”
— Daniel Grigori, Fallen by Lauren Kate
10/10 unhinged.

This is before the decor, the cats and the clutter that makes it ours. Can’t wait to break this place in with lots of love.

I grew up in chaos, lost in the noise,
five brothers, no one to hear my voice.
they fought for space, they fought for control,
no one ever cared much to console.

I’m on chapter 8 of God of Malice by Rina Kent, I randomly picked this book up at the airport on my way back from my honeymoon lol, this book is absolutely stunning by design with its red sprayed edges. What a choice. I knew it was dark romance, but I was not prepared for just how spicy it is. This is my first real smut read, and wow. Now I kind of want to read the whole series… + apparently, there are 6 Legacy of Gods books and 40 books total in this world?? Rina Kent really built an empire.

Who needed a little space.
Quiet nights to find herself,
To float in waves of endless pace.

I am, and always will be, a Tumblr girl. I’m here because I love intelligent conversations, sharing useful information, and basking in the chaos of unhinged yet insightful discourse. But for some reason, there’s a subset of men on this site who see a girl posting anything and think, ah yes, time to be weird in her DMs. Why? What compels you? This is Tumblr. This is where people write essays about niche media, hyper-analyze color palettes, and make conspiracy theories about character relationships. What part of that screams “please, sir, talk dirty to me”?? Be serious

“𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.” - 𝐖𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐲𝐞𝐫

Depending on the situation, compassion or simply holding your tongue, shows strength. Not every thought needs to be spoken, + not every opinion needs to be shared.
When you choose empathy over judgment, or silence over unnecessary criticism, you open yourself up to growth, connection, and a deeper kind of wisdom.
The way you see the world says more about you than the world itself. Choose kindness.

☆ If you’re using free websites to fight Amazon but ignoring the fact that authors deserve to earn a living, you’re missing the point. With so many local governments cutting library budgets, libraries need public support more than ever!
So what can you do?
📚 Get a library card + donate your used books to your local library!
📱 Download the Libby app — it lets you borrow ebooks and audiobooks for free through your library card.
And the best part: libraries pay for the items you borrow, so authors still get compensated even when you check out digital books. Plus, libraries offer so much more than books! DVDs, music, events, cozy spaces… support them, and you support your entire community. ☆

You deserve to exist fully, without apology. Don’t shrink yourself to make others comfortable, and don’t hold back your happiness, creativity, or passion out of fear of being judged. Let yourself be perceived.
Your ideas, your dreams, and your voice matter. Take up space. Believe that you belong here and that your life has meaning.
Our time in this world is limited, and that’s all the more reason to live boldly. Don’t wait for permission to make your days count. ♥︎

Book Review ♡

The Cafe on the Edge of the World by John Strelecky is one of those rare, quietly powerful books that sneaks up on you. I picked it up for $2 at my local library, a total steal! + while the description intrigued me, it doesn’t fully capture the warmth and wisdom waiting inside.
At it’s heart, this book tells a familiar story. A story about purpose, reflection, and the meaning of life, but the way it’s told feels fresh and comforting. Through John’s conversations with 3 unique characters at a small, mysterious café in the middle of the middle of nowhere, and the unforgettable stories told within. The book gently asks questions we all wrestle with: Why are you here? Do you fear death? Are you fulfilled?
2 stories / analogies in particular stayed with me: the green sea turtle’s journey and the story of the fisherman and the businessman. Both reflect the tension between living simply and chasing external success. These stories put things in such a balanced and bold perspective, in such a gentle, beautiful way.
It’s simple, thoughtful, and absolutely beautiful. I found myself smiling the whole time I read it. Though I’ve never said this about a book before ✩ I feel proud of this author. I’m so grateful this book exists. Chef’s kiss. Highly recommend!✩

I'm the type of girl who keeps cuticle oil and a half-read book on her nightstand. I Declutter often, holding onto meaning, not things. My extra toiletries come in simple, pretty bottles, bath and body works + Sephora but I’m a holistic girly at heart. I wash my hair like an Edwardian women, with gentle natural methods, slowly, and carefully like it’s something to be cherished. (Rassoul clay, Amazon) I make my bed every morning and glide from room to room in fuzzy slippers. My hair is freefalling and my inhibitions low.
I draw my own baths, take care of my own nails, + dance around the room for hours with the music turned all the way up. I drink green tea, matcha, and sparkling water. I love being home with my cats. I dont go out too much, just enough to never feel like I’m missing out.
I love park dates with my man: tennis, basketball, rollerblading, and skateboarding side by side. I treasure thrift stores, the smell of books, and the warmth of coffee. I have everything i need and rarely ask for more. ♡

There’s a cruel kind of pain that comes from loving a book you can’t find again. I rented it from the library, took it home, and read it in 2 days, completely swept up in its pages. When I finished, I returned it without taking a picture of the cover.
I’ve been searching for it ever since. Just bits and pieces of the plot floating in my mind, never enough to put together. I’ve tried every book search engine I can find, but nothing fits. And it kills me a little, knowing it’s out there somewhere, waiting to be found.
Maybe one day I’ll stumble across it again. if I do, I’ll buy it immediately! Until then, I’ll just have to keep looking.
