None of the colors pelt designs are accurate tk my head yet I just wanted to rush through these to get out of a funk let’s go.

First page is dick second is Jason then the bottom left to right goes Bruce Slade Stephanie baby Damian Slade again and dick agajn (I just wanted to compare their silly head shapes I like making dick long)

Wip for Dick’s suit for the KOA au. I was gonna make more little concept pieces but ended up getting tired after doing the little one in the corner..so basically just using that to wing the rest. Currently figuring out the cape/wings, and realizing as I write this I forgot to make the insides a lighter blue so I’ll note that for tomorrow ~,w,~

Bit more info on it below..

The symbol over his chest and hand is for Lyria, the goddess of magic, fate and luck, and most commonly the patron god to the Dokkalfar. The swirls I really like but wonder if I should keep. I wanted to add some sort of airy element to his look as that would best describe how he be on the battlefield.

He’ll have his staff in hand, which is something I’ll need to put more thought into instead of rushing in like the rest. The staffs in game are all pretty large/thick, and I want something that could still fit in but be more sleek overall. I envision Dick as visibly pleasant person/comes across well meaning to those who see him. He won’t be an intimidating figure like Bruce is on the battlefield, but even a pretty and unassuming bird can be brutal (coughlookingatyoushrikescough).

It’d contribute more to his public image, and since he leans much more into magic as opposed to Bruce, he’d likely be promoted more in their society.

I tried to make him less twinky…the last drawing I did isn’t the best as to how I imagine him in general. I don’t think I’ve done a drawing of Dick where I looked at afterwards and was like wow!! That’s Dick Grayson alright!! Between how different characters can look comic to comic and in all the fanart, I’m struggling to decide how I really want to portray him.

P.2 for KOA au. The left was a quick first idea for Slade, though I’m not satisfied yet with that being his ‘mercenary’ clothes, and I need to figure a mask next. The right is just him in the default clothes shown for Varani— the temptation to just decapitate him was very strong with how. LONG. it took to do his stupid head. I’ll take the L on that side I want to blow him up.

Since the world of KOA works very different from DC’s usual setting, I need to get creative with how they meet..

Dick will mostly be worked out as I figure Bruce out. Bruce will be Dokkalfar as well, a very important figure in the upper city as well as on the battlefield. He’ll be a literal dark knight…harharhar. So there isn’t much of a secret identity situation there, though I’m debating the inclusion of vigilantes. Obviously there’s corruption in any society, and even beyond Rathir alone Bruce or one of his wards may feel it comes to them to solve this. If not Bruce, I’m leaning towards Jason, as he will likely be the most traveled of the ‘batfam’ in this au and be confronted to existing issues in multiple societies.

Slade and Dick will most likely meet on the battlefield- very prematurely. Young Dick will be very much impulsive and angry, and desperate to prove himself to Bruce in the same way Bruce proves himself on the war front. Slade will run into a stowaway Dick trying to sneak himself into the fray, definitely oblivious to what he’s getting into. Again, debating Slade’s own reputation and pre existing ties to Bruce that would impact their encounter. Regardless though, Slade will help little Dick back home, but neither will be left with a good first impression of the other. Slade has his morals but is still a mostly lawless mercenary that works according to his own agendas.

I once again turn my short attention span to a new thing: DC KINGDOMS OF AMALUR AU, starting with Dick as a Dokkalfar of Rathir. His ‘hero suit’ will be worked on next, so he actually looks more nightwingy. I’ll probably try to get to more character designs and some origins before working out an actual story if any…I just got obsessed with KOA again and it’s beautiful never ending potential

Was going all my old art on my iPad because my storage is tragically full and I’m purging, I actually wished I finished this just from how stupid Springtrap looks in the background. Peepaw can’t even get into the frame right smh
