I really don't like it when people write nsfw work of characters who do clearly would be uncomfortable with most things sex— and sex adjacent. There are so many characters out there who have dealt with life altering trauma, or just choose to not engage in that sort of act, yet people love to write about it.

Is it so wrong to not want to have sex?

And I don't mean when people write about characters slowly progressing and facing their trauma to eventually be able to have sex. I'm talking about when people write them in a heavily sexualized way that often times comes off as disrespectful to their core character. You don't mess up their core ideations and characteristics, so why do you disregard such an important detail of the character you are trying to portray.

And to be frank, this issue is much more prevalent among male characters. Just to mention a character which this happens to quite often, who I, for one, am a huge fan of: Jason Todd has been SAd multiple times by the Joker in most DC comics. If you're going to write smut of him, you could at least have the courtesy of choosing a version of him where he doesn't get SAd.

But he isn't the only character being so fundamentally disregarded in this light, characters like Denji from Chainsaw Man, Arthur Morgan from RDR, and Till from Alien Stage.

HAHAHA you caught me but WHAT CAN I SAY, (already said this but I will never stop saying it) ladies are divine goddesses that deserve to be worshipped and adored and written about and painted and loved wildly and furiously and crazily. They’re light in its purest form, they’re everything all at the same time, they’re the portal to life and the door connecting the spiritual world with the physical one - they have the ability to bring a life into the world solely through their womb, not crazy???

Anyway, I’m jealous of the earth that gets to hold them up, the grass that gets to tickle them, the sunlight that gets to kiss them and I’m also eternally grateful to be a woman and be able to see the beauty in every single one of them.

So of course I’ll only write about women. Universe gave me the gift of thoughts and the power to express them so I’m damn right gonna do just that!!!!!!!!!!

I just saw the coolest people at the thrift and I think Im in love...... One of them had like clown makeup, purple hair with pink racoon stripes, and a Sanrio bag that was decked out in bits n bobs, while the other person was a trad goth with teased hair, layers of ripped tights, and a pair of handcuffs hooked to their belt which was really cool (⁠・⁠o⁠・⁠) I hope I see them again! One of them had a keychain from a school In applying to so maybe theyll be my upperclassmen??
