The OMAD diet? Have you ever tried it?
OMAD or One Meal A Day Diet is a principle in which you eat only one meal per day. It’s very simple actually, but it’s also very difficult.
People who are on OMAD fast for 23 hours. I know that for most of the people it’s almost unimaginable to eat only once a day... I know it was for me.
OMAD diet is a more advanced version of Intermittent Fasting and more extreme cousin of Warrior Diet. However, there are SO MANY benefits to it.

One of the biggest benefits is slowed oxidation. That would literally mean that you will age slower and it’s pretty logical if you think about it. When we eat food, the metabolism uses food components for building cells, muscles, nails, hair... And the metabolic processes consist of oxidation.
Oxidation is the reason why we’re getting older. So if you remove the component of oxidation, the whole aging process is slowed down. Now the only thing that is “killing” you is the helicase, the hormone that shortens the DNA...
Moreover, fasting for longer periods provenly increases HGH, or the Human Growth Hormone. That is the reason why you won’t lose tons of muscle mass.
The HGH will increase up to 2000% in men, and 1200-1500% in women.
Furthermore, according to some researches, OMAD diet can even reduce the risk of diabetes and cancer.
The biggest flaw to it is the process of adaption. Modern human beings are used to eating a couple of smaller meals a day. Our body would be shocked if we reduced our intake to only one meal a day.
There are some risks that the OMAD diet includes:
Feeling extremely hungry or binge eating
Shakiness or physical weakness
Fatigue, or low energy
Brain fog, or trouble focusing

One of the things that intrigued me the most was when I found out that ex UFC champion Ronda Rousey was on OMAD when she was undefeated.
She was the undisputed champion of the world in UFC and was eating a single meal a day.
Also, there was another sportsman, ex NFL player, and ex UFC fighter Herschel Walker who was also eating only one meal a day.
That is the reason not to be afraid of losing all your muscle. If these sportsmen were able to train a couple of times a day and eat only once a day, so can you.
