I like to write. I climb big rocks. I hope to do both in various locations on Earth someday.

Things about her:
she is the most beautiful woman in the world. I could stare at her forever. I will.
she is my best friend. there’s nobody i’d rather cook with, drive with, share music with, drink with, or exist with more than her.
her love for the moon. the moon, one of the most overlooked celestial objects there is. the moon is always there and people forget to look. but she doesn’t.
enigmatic. she has an intricate past and life that I never want to stop hearing about. I want nothing more than to get lost in the maze that is her.
(oooh) that smell. always smells so good. she lingers after she’s gone home. in my bed, in my car, on my clothes. she remains. and I love it.
the warmth she brings even when she needs me to warm her up. she may feel cold but she brings a warmth to my bed that makes me never wanna leave.
she’s so soft always. her skin is like silk and her touch is sublime.
the way she makes me feel. she makes me feel not only like I’m drowning in my love for her but as if I’m drowning in her love for me.
anything is safe with her. I can say anything to her, I can show her any piece of me, any thought. her intentions are pure and I can feel it.
that hair. the only hair I don’t mind finding in the drain.
the smile. the smile that doesn’t always come easy. but when it does it makes everything else a little easier.
the voice. it makes me melt like butter and honey over a flame. it feels sweet.
the little ears. she denies they’re tiny but we all know they are. doesn’t stop her from listening though.
even from 130 miles away, she still feels closer than any of my neighbors.

The Final Act (12.12.19)
It feels as if I have been watching
My life through a screen
But here’s the thing
I’m the one who wrote the scene
And here I sit, in the same cafe
That I return to every day
Belly filled with coffee,
But an empty cup on the table,
No idea is stable
For the final act of my fable
Day after day, scene after scene
I fell into the routine
A predictive narrative,
Tethered here by unfinished business
But that’s all over,
Now’s the time to start my story,
Cause’ who knows where I’ll be by next October
---------
Finals are over y’all. All that’s left now is a 3-month internship and then graduation. Things are about to change Big Time

Smile
Even when there’s nothing to smile about
I look at you and lose all doubt
That’s how I’m sure
That you’re my girl

I miss you. (10.3.2019)
Somehow when everything has gone to shit
I see you and suddenly all the pieces fit
When my mind begins to fray
I talk to you. you help me down
I miss you dammit.
you’re so far away
And neither of us can ever stay
Who gave you the right, dare i say
To make me feel this type of way

Movement. (10.3.19)
There’s so much movement.
At the moment.
After a summer of constancy.
I’m approached by so many opportunities.
Finally after all this bullshit.
I’m ready for this movement.

ok so there’s a game me and my friends play called “don’t get me started” and basically someone gives another person a random topic and they have to go on an angry rant about it and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us at parties and car rides so I highly recommend playing sometimes with your friends

creators see your reblogs. creators read the nice tags you type in when you love their work. creators beam when you ask to be added to the tag list, or tagged in their edits and writings. creators see your comments saying how beautiful their content is. creators smile when you send an ask telling them how much you like their work. creators appreciate interaction with their content and love you for it, really. so if you like something, reblog it, say how much you love it in the tags, reply to it with a nice message. you’ll make someone’s day.

Life cycle (9.4.19)
It always comes full circle. Life, that is.
Cafes have once again become home.
Coffee that pours fuels the hearth.
The wind stirs up everything in its path.
My life, the leaves, that whip around the street.
The anarchic cyclone of vibrant colors,
People stop and admire.
From the outside, it’s beautiful mayhem.
To me, this is my cycle.

idk guys, I just think it’s low-key rude that I’m restricted to a mortal lifespan and therefore don’t have infinite time to write :/ where do I go to lodge a complaint about this utter disgrace?

Adding small moments of existence to your writing
What I’m talking about is proof of life outside your characters in your world. Not in the sense of ‘talking to the cashier at the checkout’, but things like:
Graffiti etched into a desk your character sits in during an exam
Realising that someone has come along and arranged the cans on the shelf so the labels say something stupid
Dirty vans that have ‘wash me’ written in the dried mud
A coin that has been stuck into a piece of gum on a handrail
Little things that show the world still goes on despite whatever is happening to the characters.
This helps make the world a world, not just a setting. There are other people with other lives doing stupid, funny, dangerous, things that in no way impact the protagonist. You don’t have to dwell on them, they can only be mentioned briefly in passing during the set up of a scene, but it will help create life within the background of the story and give the characters a chance to briefly think about something other than themselves/their situation.

One of my favorite things is when a character does or says something nice and they’re like “don’t tell anyone about this, I have a reputation” it’s so funny they’re literally like I’m okay with being nice but I draw the line at other people knowing that I’m nice
