We are but dust, fleeting, small, Yet from the ashes, we rise and stand tall. Burned by fire, yet filled with might, Heart and soul set to ignite.
Can’t you see? We’re sinners all, Blades will dance, both rise and fall. Be it an enemy’s final breath, Or our own hands, flirting with death.
So let there be light, let hope remain, To conquer the night, to break every chain. This world’s a game, so play it wise, With wings unbound, let spirits rise.
The sea runs deep within your veins, The land is vast, yet none remains. So lift your gaze, raise up your glass, To madness bred from dreams that last.

I bask in the moon’s twilight,
Yet still search your soul’s bright light.
I drink in the symphony of the wolf’s cry,
And remain parched for your whispered sigh.
I travel gleaming oceans and hot sands,
All to reach you and hold your gentle hands.
I will forever search, as worn out as I may be,
For until the end of time, it is you I seek to see.
Love,

To be with her was a feeling I’d never normalize,
She numbs out my pain with just her eyes.
She leaves me undone and high,
Leaves me seeing stars beyond the sky.
To be with her was art in itself.
To be with her was to reveal my soul’s confinement,
One by one, she offered atonement.
She undid the chokehold on my throat,
And let me breathe- set me afloat.
I could never get enough of her,
She was my salvation from above.
She had her own demons, sure,
But I could never get enough of her.
Love,

Her (Lust)
The dip of her collarbone was divine,
The sweat glistening on her skin shimmered.
She kissed me rough, all I could taste was fine wine,
When she pulled away, I swear her eyes glimmered.
She panted heavily, grinned at me with those lips,
Rolled her eyes back and let me grip her hips.
Her curls spilled out in waves, a brown soft yet sticky,
She giggled softly, her middle name was intimacy.
Her hand roam me, tangles up my hair,
Her touch was addictive, she had a perfect flair.
She knows What she’s doing when she lies bare,
Her waistline robbing me of breathable air.
She rasps low, her breath hot,
In shadows where our desires are caught.
Careless murmurs weave a silken bond,
In the stillness, we drift beyond.
Her fingertips dance, just above my skin,
With every light graze, she ignited me within.
Our Souls entwined, a passionate plea,
In the quiet twilight, just her and me.
She parted her lips to moan and gasp,
Tips her head back to offer me her neck.
Takes my hand in hers, hastily clasps,
Leaves me high and an absolute wreck.
She shies away from daylight,
Never seen her in bright light.
I bet she’d be a sight,
Her skin porcelain, her eyes Celestine.
I drink her in, eager for the spell she casts,
Every dusk, She looks out the blank sky for a crack.
She leaves, only ever stays until the night lasts,
When the moon reigns again, I know she’ll be back.
Love,
Anonymous.

The next time you think I am hurt, stop searching for tears.
I write, my love. I bleed on paper.
Check those parchments and find my tattered soul.

A plant with no stalk or leaf,
A soul that leaves with no one's grief.
A wooden chest with no hidden treasure,
Has life been robbed of all pleasure?
A sea that changes its current to too often,
Even if it wishes, for nobody does it soften.
A singer to whom there is no one to listen,
For whatever future, do we have a vision?
A child left astray in a crowd,
Clouds covering the sky; the storm is too loud.
A therapist with no lending ears
To assure her, "For you, I'm here."
An idol with an unfortunate past,
The ignored member of a movie cast.
A relationship given up too fast,
Perhaps if they tried, for ever could they last.
Things so easily discarded,
Women and men walk back home, broken hearted.
Is this what we call society and home?
Where in a world full of people, you're all alone?
Love,
Anonymous.
